This is my go to place for Tahini, Indian spices, Danish white cheese, paneer, figs, bulgars, red lentils and much more! I found this place after the last jar of tahini I bought locally was petrified. It wasn't past the due date but it was harder than the Prudential rock! The only negative here is that the produce isn't always the best, but they do have a lot of things you won't find at a Safeway.

This is one of the better ethnical grocery stores in the area. They have hard-to-find Indian, Pakistani, arabic, and latino items. And it's clean and fairly well organized. It's missing a fresh meat counter, and that seems to make it easier to have a clean store. They do have frozen meat. They do some odd things (re-selling Costco eggs, for example). But that is not too surprising. This will be my go to store for hard-to-find ethnic items in the Bothell/Lynwood/Everett area.

Had a friend bring me here yesterday and I fell in love! The fruit selection is incredible. I absolutely love how you can find so many different spices! The backroom is the treasure spot for sure. My son was really happy with all the goodies I brought home for him!

Good clean grocery store offering a variety of Indian selection. Pricing is better compared to Indian super Market & Mayuri foods.

A welcome addition to the Lynnwood area. This location is definitely smaller than the Factoria…read morelocation, but still has most of what I need. Their bakery section is always my first stop. Specifically to get some freshly baked Portugese egg tarts. Their frozen food section is decent and has what I need for hotpot dinners. The meat section is rather limited. Produce section is a hotspot and the vegetables are always stocked. Their seasonal displays are located right by the entrance and features a good selection of sale items. Their skin care section is extensive. Some of their wellness products are priced cheaper compared online retailers. Their snack section is MASSIVE! I found myself stocking up on various fruit gummies and jellies. Their sauce selections are extensive. They do carry various hotpot broth bases. I was successful at finding my favorite Sichuan hot pot based at this location. This location does get very busy and the lack of self-check out lanes can easily cause the lines extend down the aisles. The aisles feel narrower compared to the location in Factoria. Service is fast and parking is not an issue.

I did get some uShu Mai, which I really enjoyed, but I could've gotten it cheaper at Trader Joe's. I also found the fresh fruits to be a lot more expensive. I used to go to quite a few Asian stores in the international District, and usually the fresh foods were all cheap cheaper than any typical grocery store, but it seems to be the opposite of of this store. They do have some cute shopping parts for the little ones that are small shopping carts at a very low level for children to push and say "shopper in training". Really love this. Lines are pretty long but the nice benefit is that the cashiers are all humans and that they are not using self checkout. They typically have 2 cashiers working during the daytime. Not sure if they have more during evening hours.

OK, still haven't stepped in this very busy, Chinese grocery store, but got to eat a birthday cake…read morepurchased from there. If one likes mangos, their mango strawberry cake is a dream. Costing under $60, the large cake was beautifully made and decorated. Like other Asian bakeries (e.g. Paris Baguette, Tous Les Jours, 85 C), the cake was chiffon with whipped cream and was quite good. But what made it stand out was how mango and strawberries were incorporated into the design AND how it tasted. Mangoes were thinly sliced and used like fondant to COVER the entire top of the cake. Then chopped mangos and whole strawberries were added on top to decorate it even more. Fondant is great to make the cake look good, but I don't like it as an edible product (it's like eating pure sugar for me). Ripe mango, on the other hand, I could eat all day...and this version was ripe without being overly so. The cake came well packaged in a travel container, and included a cake cutter, signage, and a candle. The four of us could barely make a large dent in it (maybe a 1/3), even though it didn't use buttermilk frosting, but used really good whipped cream instead. I think it's twice the size of a Tous Les Jour large (which is usually what our family gets for birthdays), and wasn't that much more.

On my way home, I stopped in and noticed the bao selection, which looked fresh and appealing. The…read morevegetarian option, however, was marked "sold out." When I asked an employee whether any vegetable bao were still available, she told me--clearly and confidently--that there were. I specifically questioned this, pointing to the "sold out" sign, yet she insisted that they were not sold out and proceeded to package four for me. When she handed me the box, I asked again--explicitly--whether these were vegetarian. For a third time, she assured me that they were. After a two-hour drive home, I opened the box to find that I had been given pork bao. This was not a minor oversight. I asked multiple times and received repeated, unequivocal assurances. At that point, this ceases to be a simple mistake and reflects either a complete disregard for accuracy or a willingness to mislead a customer to move product. Neither is acceptable. Customers rely on staff to provide correct information, especially when dietary preferences or restrictions are involved. The failure here was not just operational--it was a failure of basic honesty and accountability. This experience left me feeling violated, disrespected, and taken advantage of. It is extremely disappointing that such conduct can occur in a business that presents itself as reputable. One interaction like this is enough to severely damage trust in the store as a whole.

This is located with a shared, busy parking lot with a laundromat, Asian market, Chinese and Thai…read morerestaurants. After making a trek to another Eastern European market down in Tacoma the day before, now it was time to visit European Grocery in Everett on 3/2/25. Pro tip: Don't be intimidated by the stoic, standoffish staff at the deli counter or the register. Enjoy the culinary experience wandering their grocery aisles and remember your shopping bag(s) to package up your purchases. Because I had also stocked up at the other market in Tacoma, I noticed similarities in the product availability. However, I was able to find other things of interest especially in the smoked meats, condiments, chocolates, and biscuits areas. I enjoyed looking closely at their wine and spirits section...unique labels I would not find at my usual Ravenna wine shop in Seattle. Thanks to Heather, fellow Yelp Elite, for putting European Grocery on my radar screen!

My family and I have not experienced anything close to that at this store. Both the men and women were very helpful, let me admire their produce and culture (even let me take pictures and videos) & eagerly answered the few questions I did have. We had such an enjoyable experience that we came back the next day to buy more food & sweet treats. In regard to the ambiance, this grocery store isn't the biggest by any means. It's about the size of a NY bodega/convenience store, so don't expect to be able to find any and everything you usually can at other places. However their produce is fresh & all the meat, cheese and dessert products we have tried were all very good (certainly much healthier than the preservative and filler packed foods you'll find at your local WalMart, QFC, etc). I thoroughly enjoyed my first European market experience & can't wait to come back, as well as visit other stores.

This market is farther than Evergreen Asian Market from where I live, but I prefer to stop here…read morefirst for what I need. There is an amazing selection of meat, fish, and vegetables here. Every time I visit, I pick up a fruit or vegetable that I haven't tried before. Today it was a small Korean melon with bright yellow skin. The guys who work the fish counter are personable and knowledgeable. The man who helped us made a good suggestion for the type of fish to use in a soup, and didn't grumble when, near closing, he had to start up the equipment to cut it for us. The parking lot can be busy but I just choose to park farther away from the door. Also, try to go during an off hour--the veggie section (and the store in general) can get crowded. I suggest stopping by the deli section at the front of the store to see what treats are available. Last time I tried a tasty steamed cake wrapped in banana leaf. Another tip is to jump on specials as soon as you see them. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up an entire pack of oxtails for 1.99 a pound. I went back a few days later and they were gone. I still bought oxtails, for up to $2.00 less a pound than other stores. Lastly, double check the expiration dates on prepackaged foods. Every once and a while you'll find one that is past it's prime.

Koreans may not care for this but it's my version of Asian crack! Can't quit eating it day and night when I have done and I notice there is none left over later to make soup with!
