There is a large amount of products from all over the world for sale. They have all sorts of interesting things you can't find in a typical grocery store. I've been coming here for a long time over 10 years actually and I've never had a problem with anything. I bought a mamey on 2/1 and it was hard so I was letting it ripen and I waited two days it wasn't ripening and the first cut into it was black. And hard as a rock. I took it back 2/3 and this manager was rude to the cashier she barely asked her about it before she turned her away this was. 5.99 a pound I spent 16 dollars. On one thing and after everything was said and done she wants to offer me 50% off and I said no thanks because why do you have to be rude and shut me down when I spent a lot of one fruit. I used my ebt for this. Clearly I need assistance with food. And for her to flat out tell me no instead if I can give you 50%off from the jump rubbed me so wrong. Customer service is trash. I went to this store twice after giving them the benefit of the doubt after a bad first encounter with VERY negative and rude staff. I wouldn't perceive them as so rude if I didn't appear to be singled out on both encounters; in each transaction the people in front of me were treated exceptionally nice, yet their attitudes change specifically with me when it was my turn to transact with them. The only noticeable difference between me and the people in front of me was skin color... I was the different one... that was treated like a lesser human being... I love this local grocer they have so much fresh produce & the exotic products that you don't always have in stock at your home. We were looking for Shredded Knaffe filo & sure enough they had it. This is my go to place for Tahini, Indian spices, Danish white cheese, paneer, figs, bulgars, red lentils and much more! I found this place after the last jar of tahini I bought locally was petrified. It wasn't past the due date but it was harder than the Prudential rock! Im going to have to go back to spend some dedicated time in the spice isle, omg. Some dairy in a tin from goats & water buffalo, protein? Rose blossom liquid. Mango Chutney. This is one of the better ethnical grocery stores in the area. They have hard-to-find Indian, Pakistani, arabic, and latino items. And it's clean and fairly well organized. It's missing a fresh meat counter, and that seems to make it easier to have a clean store. They do have frozen meat. They do some odd things (re-selling Costco eggs, for example). But that is not too surprising. This will be my go to store for hard-to-find ethnic items in the Bothell/Lynwood/Everett area. read more

After a few years of passing by this market, enticed by the signs for cheap produce, I finally stopped by. I passed by again -- so had to pull a u-turn to get there, but I made it happen. Turns out they are like most other places -- some things are a great price, while others aren't so good. And, some of the produce isn't in the best condition. Grabbing a bag of red onions for $1.49, I went inside to see what else they had. It feels somewhat European inside -- almost like an extended convenience store with limited selections. The prices are standard retail, so I passed on most things... except for some packets of spices that you really can't find most other places. They have some interesting products, and this is one of them -- packets that can make you seem like a cook with lots of practice with ethnic cuisine. Just beware -- while spices don't really expire (just kind of fade), the packets I saw had many very close to their best buy date. Bottom line: Some cheap produce that may or may not be good quality, some cool items that you won't find anywhere else. Stop on by if it's on your way somewhere. read more

It is a clean place. There is a nice selection of vegetables, but they really shine with the herbs and spices. All the herbs that other places sell in little, and expensive, plastic containers, these people sell in bulk, and they keep them fresh. I didn't see fresh bay leaf, but Taragon, Thyme, Rosemary, etc, are all there. Then around the back there is an Indian dry goods market with every spice you can think of. Sometimes I get something I have never heard of, and look up a recipe, to expand my food knowledge. I can't talk about the groceries, I haven't been on that side. The one thing I don't like is that they want top dollar on produce. A couple years ago one of them gave me a better price because I bought a full case, but I haven't seen him anymore. They always give me incorrect change and it is always in their favor. The will over ring so pay attention to item prices carefully. Use a calculator and you will see. I thought it was me but other people have mentioned it. The owner and his staff tried to physically remove me from the store because I wanted a refund after I was overcharged and received an extremely rude response when I told the cashier of his mistake. After a civil back and forth with the owner about what I would do if I were in his shoes I decided not to purchase anything at that store ever again. When I asked for a refund I was told "NO!" I called the police and they forced the owner to refund my money on the spot. He told them he had the right to keep my payment even though I did not have the products because he did not like the tone of my voice. I was on the hunt for food and passed a sign that advertised pears for 58 cents a pound. Since I use a lot of pears to blend and eat, I decided to stop on my way back from lunch. I was planning just picking up a few sale items. Boy...after going through the entire store, I realized that I found a gem. I'm sad I don't live closer because I would be a frequent customer. Aside from the produce, which is varied and plentiful, there are tons of other things to buy here. However, let's start with the produce...I picked up a bunch of pears as planned, apples at 49 cents a pound, onions, cucumbers, nectarines, and more! Not everything was a great deal but hey, overall, I feel I saved a ton of money on my weekly food shopping. They have a freezer case chock full of things I've never seen in a store before. They have a small bakery case with Mexican pastries. They sell soft drinks like Vimto and Inca Cola. Just when I thought I went through the whole store, I realized I missed the other room full of dry goods. Oh...the spices! Large and small quantities of so many different things! The large bag of garam masala would have been perfect for a turkey I cooked a few months ago. I picked up a bag of bay leaves for 69 cents and cinnamon sticks for $1.99 to make horchata (another snipe hunt I've been on recently). They sold tons of different brands and sizes of ghee. Rice, noodles, hot chocolate - every pantry item you could imagine. I loved exploring this store and when I was done, I had three bag of groceries and paid about $15.00. Whaaaaat? We buy fruits & vegetables in bulk (usually by the case or 25lb+ sizing) because we live a primarily raw food lifestyle with lots of juicing & Vitamix-ing going on. I can say with certainty that this market has some of the best pricing you will find within the Lynnwood/Everett area. Example: Case of Peru-sourced avocados for $15. Case of Yakima-sourced peaches/nectarines for $20. The competing produce stand 2 miles north of this one was literally charging double the price for both of those quotes earlier the same day. Organic People Be Forewarned!! - - Very little of what they sell is organic; see what they have from local growers at the moment, as this will offer you a better chance at pesticide-free. Ask the owner or anyone on his team & they'll tell you (he's great & very honest!). Also be sure to ask about pricing by the case if you're interested in purchasing that much quantity. Definitely better than the other produce markets we have seen so far within a 10 mile radius, & we drove around checking out the various options. Overall definitely worth making this place part of your shopping routine for fresh vegetables/fruits. Prices far better than any large chain store & you're literally getting the same supple chain much of the time. read more

From the past reviews, it seemed to be a good place to go. But I guess, things at Imran's have started going downhill recently. Yes, there is a wide variety of ethnic fruits, vegetables and other food items - the prices of which can't be beat. But they are all old and stale and rot soon after. Most of the vegetables only appear fresh as water is sprinkled on them for making them visibly appealing. The place is also not very well kept and neat, which adds to spoiling the produce faster. I'd go here only if I need something immediately, as I live close by. But other than that, I'd look for a better and cleaner place for ethnic produce and food. read more

Most disgusting place I've ever been to. First of all when I got there they have 2 bins of oranges outside that are all moldy and smell terrible. I let the oranges slide since I don't really eat oranges and I wasn't there for oranges, I picked out my watermelon and as I was going inside to pay a FAT RAT ran right in front of me. And that was the last straw I will not be coming back and I will for sure let the health department know that there are moldy fruit and rats running around a place that sells groceries. read more

I stumbled on this place by accident and found it great. the produce is very cheap and they have loads of very unique things. the place is very unique, you see people in there from the middle east, from india, from africa, from mexico, etc etc as they have foods there for all those cultures. every time I go in I find something different.they have olives from turkey, pickled stuff from eastern europe. tea's from all over. if your a tea nut, this is the place to go. the frozen section they must have 28 different kinds of samosas alone. about as many spices and spice mixes as you could use in a lifetime. it's a very cool place read more

Really terrific vegetable and fruit market. Not only do they have the normal selection but they have some really cool and funky fruits and veggies. Amazingly low prices too. We just started a juice diet and go through massive amounts of produce, the prices and selection can't be beat. They have other groceries but we go for the produce. read more

11 19 18 prices were okay. the produce was very fresh.. not cheap at about $1.89/lb, but I bought HUGE, perfectly ripe Bartlett's there. My only negative was that I bought some cookies for my husband. When I got them home to open, they smelled (and tasted) odd. The odors, fragrances in the store, predominately, Middle Eastern, had actually permeated the cookies and they were awful.
