Roast duck, fresh, all in one place. Full of culture, flavor, and full of food.

They have amazing slabs of bacon with crispy popped skin that you can buy by the pound. A 1/4 pound is perfect for one person--it's only around $5 and honestly leaves you full and happy. The store also carries specialty Asian wafers, tons of unique Asian snacks, and giant walls of seasonings and spices. This Asian market is clean, well-organized, and packed with authentic ingredients, fresh produce, noodles, sauces, and all kinds of hard-to-find international foods. Great prices, friendly service, and a huge selection make it one of the best local Asian grocery stores in the area. A true hidden gem!

We were shocked to be sold rice with TAPE keeping the bag together.

We were shocked to be sold rice with TAPE keeping the bag together. We went back and exchanged it but it was a hassle to do so.

My daughter took me here. Nice store for groceries. Good sea food selection with live crab for sales. Serve beer and hard liquor. Smaller produce area. Some kitchen tools and supplies. Heineken bottle six pack $12.99 compare to Safeway $11.99 Prices not good for some items. Posted pictures and videos to show. Will be back, but parking lot tight and no public restroom. Customer service fine, not good not bad. Don't ask you if help needed.

We bought groceries and take-out Peking duck for lunch a few hours ago. We ordered and paid for one-half Peking duck. When we returned home and opened it, it looks like we got a one-fourth Peking duck instead of a half-duck we paid for (breast meat was missing; there were two scrawny legs and several pieces of meat in bone)!!! The sauce was also missing ! We have been to this store countless times in the past and trusted it...

Food - Awesome Variety AND house-made authentic Vietnamese foods, AUTHENTICITY IS IMPRESSIVE Highly recommended for home-cooks looking for Asian flavors

My wife is Vietnamese and often shops here. She sent me here today to grab a few things. I like the layout. The seafood is in the back right and they have like a little restaurant inside for you to order food at. They carry hard liquor, beer and wine. Prices are competitive depending on what you buy. They also have a small selection of kitchen, tools, silverware, bowls, chopsticks, etc..

Mold growing on the hum bao

Place is rude to it customers I had incident where one of the cashier raised her hand and said "NEXT" and as soon as me and wife get to the counter and start placing our stuff on the table a customer before us said I was still in line. I looked at her and said why did you say next for if this person is still paying. She pretended to play stupid and act like she didn't say anything gave my wife an attitude so I gave her the Lip back. If she got off her phone and payed attention she can do her job correctly. The whole store is cramped no room to get around any aisle, The food there is very old and disgusting no one doing there job to make the store any better even found one hum bao in the refrigerator area growing mold. Treat your customers better and keep the store in a better condition.

Gross! Yes, whomever mentioned hygiene and cleanliness in the reviews before mine are correct. I was in the area and wanted to grab some herbs and some jellyfish and searched for the nearest Asian store and this place popped up. Man oh man I tell you! This place had expired items on the shelf and pre made food that looked like it needed to be thrown away immediately. I wanted some culantro and just grabbed a bunch because it all looked good and not wilted. I should've picked one by one and looked at it carefully. Got back and washed it and the next thing I knew, I see a dead roach. This is a NO NO! Imagine what other roaches are running around in that place. Nope, never going there again. By all means I'm sure every other places have roaches, but just don't let me see it. Once I see it, I will never step foot in that place again. Thank you. Not coming again.

2 burned up eggrolls they sold me. Very disappointing.

Yes! There's a special fridge cooler in the back near the produce section that has meat for hotpot specifically.

Do you guys have the Frozen spring roll wrap?

Yes! We brought some for my mom to make her eggrolls!

After making a trek to another Eastern European market down in Tacoma the day before, now it was time to visit European Grocery in Everett on 3/2/25. Pro tip: Don't be intimidated by the stoic, standoffish staff at the deli counter or the register. Enjoy the culinary experience wandering their grocery aisles and remember your shopping bag(s) to package up your purchases. Because I had also stocked up at the other market in Tacoma, I noticed similarities in the product availability. However, I was able to find other things of interest especially in the smoked meats, condiments, chocolates, and biscuits areas. I enjoyed looking closely at their wine and spirits section...unique labels I would not find at my usual Ravenna wine shop in Seattle. Thanks to Heather, fellow Yelp Elite, for putting European Grocery on my radar screen!

My family and I have not experienced anything close to that at this store. Both the men and women were very helpful, let me admire their produce and culture (even let me take pictures and videos) & eagerly answered the few questions I did have. We had such an enjoyable experience that we came back the next day to buy more food & sweet treats. In regard to the ambiance, this grocery store isn't the biggest by any means. It's about the size of a NY bodega/convenience store, so don't expect to be able to find any and everything you usually can at other places. However their produce is fresh & all the meat, cheese and dessert products we have tried were all very good (certainly much healthier than the preservative and filler packed foods you'll find at your local WalMart, QFC, etc). I thoroughly enjoyed my first European market experience & can't wait to come back, as well as visit other stores.

Every time I visit, I pick up a fruit or vegetable that I haven't tried before. Today it was a small Korean melon with bright yellow skin. The guys who work the fish counter are personable and knowledgeable. The man who helped us made a good suggestion for the type of fish to use in a soup, and didn't grumble when, near closing, he had to start up the equipment to cut it for us. The parking lot can be busy but I just choose to park farther away from the door. Also, try to go during an off hour--the veggie section (and the store in general) can get crowded. I suggest stopping by the deli section at the front of the store to see what treats are available. Last time I tried a tasty steamed cake wrapped in banana leaf. Another tip is to jump on specials as soon as you see them. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up an entire pack of oxtails for 1.99 a pound. I went back a few days later and they were gone. I still bought oxtails, for up to $2.00 less a pound than other stores. Lastly, double check the expiration dates on prepackaged foods. Every once and a while you'll find one that is past it's prime.

The one I had was awesome, though. *Bring cash to tip*. No tip line on the card reader since this is first a grocery store. In long This wasn't gonna be taqueria week but it kinda turned out that way, and they're all great in slightly different ways. On a similar but unrelated note: This particular parking lot probably wasn't designated for almost all the restaurants to be at least really interesting, either, but hey...that also kinda turned out to be the case. You can get croissants, lumpia, brunch a couple places, and other stuff done really well at neighboring places here. Teto's steps in with shelves of groceries, coolers of Mexican sodas, a tiny dining room, a fantastic meat case if you're making tacos, and a really kickass little kitchen in back. Chances are if your Spanish is as rusty as mine, you probably want to order from the cashier up front. The abuelita doing the cooking can probably decipher even bad Spanish (which I speak), but it goes faster if dude steps down the aisle to help translate for you. I gotta say that the staff here is relaxed and happy--they're very ready to jump in with super-cheerful service. You can almost tell before you order that they're used to pretty much everyone loving the food. You can see tacos, burritos, and tamales on the posted menu, and there are specials, too. One of them today was caldo de res, and I was so wishing I was hungrier, 'cause I already had my heart set on tacos and a tamal...but that soup sounded so good. I *did* see a dude in the corner going to town on the caldo, loving it so much he was almost dunking his nose in it. Gonna hafta get that next time it's on the specials board. I got a carnitas and an adobada taco, and both of them were explosively flavorful. Huge flavors bursting from the seasonings they used on each kind of pork, plus crunchy fried onions on one. Plenty of cilantro and fresh onion, too. The lime wedge they give you has real life to it, which you, uh, just don't always see everywhere. Dude brought over a little dish of green creamy salsa, which added tons of flavor but was maybe less spicy than the porks. Note: The tacos come out HOT from the plancha. You just feel loved by food here. I got a raja tamal, which was excellent. The masa was a tiny bit drier at the bottom but a good tamal is just a great treat, especially up here. A couple places in Seattle are slightly more impressive with their tamales, but if you're up here craving one, this more than satisfies. Cold Jarritos on the table completed the meal. I was bummed I couldn't tip! Prices here are beyond reasonable. I'm not surprised to have seen 4 other tables taken in the middle of the afternoon on a work day. These guys know what's up.
