We found that most items were relatively more expensive than at other supermarkets like Ranch 99 or T&T. However, we were impressed by the variety of Chinese medicine they carry, and some items were quite cost-effective, such as the turmeric powder. The facility was not as new, clean, or well-decorated as T&T or H-Mart, but it was a good place to shop for Chinese herbs. Parking was easy, as there was a parking lot. read more

One of a few of Asian supermarkets in the Everett area. So I don't have to go far to Lynnwood. Have lots of varieties. Prices are competitive. Offer free deep frying service. I wish they use queuing system at the seafood and frying service area. One time someone took my fried fish order. Another time I was cut off by another person even though it might be unintentional. I told the cashier about the problem. Not sure if there will be any improvement plan. read more

Best Kimchee ever! We only go to this store after occasional Dining at King Noodle next door while going to and from the Mukilteo ferry. This is a smaller neighborhood Asian grocery that really does a pretty good job with providing the necessary ingredients you won't find at Safeway. Yes the bigger proliferating giant Asian markets might be worth the drive for larger needs. I shop at them regularly. But this place has specialized produce, meats, seafood, and packaged goods to solve your list needs. I noticed that they have large pork belly portions for when you want to do a Lechon roast. I'm getting one of those soon for me rotisserie. I'm looking forward to ordering a Bahn mi or at least taking home some of their fresh baguette soon. Last night I was too full of noodles to care. BUT the fresh made kimchee is amongst the best I've had including local restaurants and H Mart!!! It's exceptionally heavy in garlic and seasoning without being too spicy. Koreans may not care for this but it's my version of Asian crack! Can't quit eating it day and night when I have done and I notice there is none left over later to make soup with! At $4.99 for a standard tub it's affordable and really tasty. Even as a cooking ingredient. read more

They have amazing slabs of bacon with crispy popped skin that you can buy by the pound. A 1/4 pound is perfect for one person--it's only around $5 and honestly leaves you full and happy. The store also carries specialty Asian wafers, tons of unique Asian snacks, and giant walls of seasonings and spices. This Asian market is clean, well-organized, and packed with authentic ingredients, fresh produce, noodles, sauces, and all kinds of hard-to-find international foods. Great prices, friendly service, and a huge selection make it one of the best local Asian grocery stores in the area. A true hidden gem! read more

My daughter took me here. Nice store for groceries. Good sea food selection with live crab for sales. Serve beer and hard liquor. Smaller produce area. Some kitchen tools and supplies. Heineken bottle six pack $12.99 compare to Safeway $11.99 Prices not good for some items. Posted pictures and videos to show. Will be back, but parking lot tight and no public restroom. Customer service fine, not good not bad. Don't ask you if help needed. read more

I was shopping near deli counter when I saw a slim male with white blazer who is the owner of evergreen asian market grope a female employees buttocks. He caught me watching and immediately got super aggressive towards me. If this man has a wife she needs to be aware of the harassment. He proceeded to argue with me and acted very rude and unprofessional. I left my whole cart as I will not be supporting this business. I recommend you all go elsewhere as cleanliness is not good and employees handle food they prepare with the same gloves they give you your change back. read more

We bought groceries and take-out Peking duck for lunch a few hours ago. We ordered and paid for one-half Peking duck. When we returned home and opened it, it looks like we got a one-fourth Peking duck instead of a half-duck we paid for (breast meat was missing; there were two scrawny legs and several pieces of meat in bone)!!! The sauce was also missing ! We have been to this store countless times in the past and trusted it... read more

This place is no HMART, however in a pinch this place will do. You can find a few selections of meats and poultry. The best thing that I like is when you select fish they are able to cut and fry or just cut the fish for you. They have a menu on the types of cuts (ex. Half, thirds) They are a bit pricier than Hmart but that's what you pay for convenience. But like I said they are good if you are in a pinch. read more

Gross! Yes, whomever mentioned hygiene and cleanliness in the reviews before mine are correct. I was in the area and wanted to grab some herbs and some jellyfish and searched for the nearest Asian store and this place popped up. Man oh man I tell you! This place had expired items on the shelf and pre made food that looked like it needed to be thrown away immediately. I wanted some culantro and just grabbed a bunch because it all looked good and not wilted. I should've picked one by one and looked at it carefully. Got back and washed it and the next thing I knew, I see a dead roach. This is a NO NO! Imagine what other roaches are running around in that place. Nope, never going there again. By all means I'm sure every other places have roaches, but just don't let me see it. Once I see it, I will never step foot in that place again. Thank you. Not coming again. read more

Place is rude to it customers I had incident where one of the cashier raised her hand and said "NEXT" and as soon as me and wife get to the counter and start placing our stuff on the table a customer before us said I was still in line. I looked at her and said why did you say next for if this person is still paying. She pretended to play stupid and act like she didn't say anything gave my wife an attitude so I gave her the Lip back. If she got off her phone and payed attention she can do her job correctly. The whole store is cramped no room to get around any aisle, The food there is very old and disgusting no one doing there job to make the store any better even found one hum bao in the refrigerator area growing mold. Treat your customers better and keep the store in a better condition. read more

First: I hated how narrow the parking spots are. When 3 medium sized SUVs parked next to each other, we couldn't open the doors because we were in the middle. We were all parked in our respective spaces. Second: The grocery isles or where some of the fruits/veggies were placed was tight. If another customer was coming the carts won't fit so someone has to back up. The food items were ok, veggies/fruits were decent. The lines at the checkout were disorganized and weird. Never going back. read more

I'm happy to have an Asian grocery store near by that also sells decent roast and BBQ pork, and the banh mis aren't half bad either. I mostly go here for the bread and sandwiches, but the place is a total lifesaver when it comes to finding more authentic seasonings and sauces. I'm on the fence about giving this place 3 stars after my last order of two banh mis and two eggrolls. The sandwiches were fine, but I was so irritated that they thought it was ok to give me two eggrolls that had burst during the fry process... everything was burned to a crisp down the whole side. It was almost hurtful that they would smile at me and then bag up those two fried turds. I'll be back for groceries and sandwiches, but I won't get the eggrolls anymore, and if anything else ridiculous happens, I'll prob move on to a grocery store on hwy 99. read more

Evergreen Asian market is my go to spot for coconut water and mama noodles. They also have an amazing deli where you could get Roast duck barbecue or banh mi. They have so many amazing vegetables and if you're looking for anything exotic fruit wise this is a place to come to. read more

After about a year since I've ordered from the deli, I see that they've Incorporated tongs for the ingredients for their sandwiches but a lot of good that does when they don't ever change their gloves especially after giving you your change before they make your food. In the past I've talked with the manager of the store multiple times but apparently nobody follows her rules. I watched the employee multitask before she took my order and gave me my change then proceeded to make my sandwich with the same gloves on... while warming up the bread she takes her glove off so she can text And then puts the glove back on so she could finish contaminating my sandwich... and that's done right in plain view, I can only imagine how they do things in the back. In the past I've always asked them to put on new gloves and of course they just give you attitude, after a year later and giving them multiple chances to correct I'm finally done with that place. read more

I've only been here once, but I look forward to other trips in the future. The store has a great selection and quite a few of my favorites. The best part is the produce section! Although when I was in, selection was very small, the shelves had been cleared; the pricing can't be beat! I needed to buy things in bulk for Lumpia, EAM had everything on my list! That was very convenient, as I did not need to go to other Asian markets in the area, or drive to Seattle for that matter! I look forward to shopping here again! read more

I so love this place!! It's like an adventure every time I shop. I love the snacks! The baked goods are amazing, too. Normally, the customer service is just meh, but today when I stopped, I was completely pleased with the kindness, patience, and understanding I received. I am disabled from a traumatic brain injury, so sometimes the most mundane tasks confuse me. I was struggling with my payment, and the kind cashier patiently helped me complete the transaction. The food court service is really getting on my nerves! There's this one lady who is making me super frustrated. I know she doesn't speak English very well, but she should at least know what's on the menu. I ordered a combo box that is supposed to have rice, pork belly, and xa xiu. Every time I see her, she always asks if I want xa xiu. When I say yes, she only gives me xa xiu and forgets the pork belly! Then, when I ask for pork belly too, she just gives me that and leaves out the xa xiu. Can you see why I'm upset? Isn't your menu supposed to have rice, pork belly, and xa xiu? Why does she ask me every time and still get my order wrong? Today, I noticed they changed the layout and everything. There are no spoons and forks at the front anymore. I thought maybe they would put a spoon and fork in the bag for me. But when I got to the park, there was nothing! Do you want me to eat with my hands? Oh my gosh, I can't do that! read more

This place reeks of fish before you can even walk in the door. Very unhygienic. Went in for tofu and it's all EXPIRED! Some since April, others since May. Tried to tell the cashier, but they only speak Vietnamese. The trip to HMART in Lynnwood is worth it. I wouldn't purchase "fresh" foods from here read more

I'm going to say 4 stars for the deli, simply because for the price of a combo meal, you could feed a family of 5. In the retail sector today, getting a generous anything for a fair price is rare. I was wondering when the lady behind the counter started pulling BBQ/Roasted pork from the hot case, if she misunderstood what I was ordering because it seemed like way too much food. Well it was, just for me anyway. There was no way I could devour that much food in one setting. The flavor of the food was pretty good, not the best, but it ranks up there, especially for a little hide away deli in an Asian market in Everett, this definitely is better than some of their competition a little further south on 99. So, if you have an appetite, and love Chinese BBQ, get one of the combos for $13.99, you won't be hungry for long! read more

I am thankful to have access to this ethnic store since I prepare a lot of Asian flared meals. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Just about every item that pertains to Asian cooking can be located in this store. There is one aisle dedicated to Hispanic items. Hard to find produce and meat can be found here and is considerably lower in price than typical grocery chains. Many options are available for each item (soy sauce, rice noodles, rice vinegar, finishing sauces, etc...) There is a hot case area to place short orders and such. The butcher block is located in the back of the store. A bakery department is not offered. The language barrier (verbal as well as written) is very acute here, I find it helpful to show staff members pictures of the items that I am searching for. Most of the merchandise and labels are not written in English so allow yourself some time when shopping here. Thank you Evergreen Asian for bringing diversity to Everett. read more

This place has the selection of a small H Mart/Seafood City in a much more relaxed and enjoyable sized location. I honestly don't understand the middle ratings on reviews. Amazing variety in all areas of food. Always stocked well. Staff is kind. Always clean and organized. Cheap pricing as well.

The fresh seafood selection is very good for the size of market it is. The fresh veggie selection is a bit sad but the merchandise side is pretty incredible. They've started carrying some items I have previously had to go to Lynwood for so I'm very happy about that. There is a small to-go cafe inside that is charged separately but has friendly staff and fast service. I will clarify the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the fresh vegetable section, otherwise this is a perfect neighborhood market. Highly recommend. read more

I have always been treated rudely by the cashier's At this store! It opened late, and while shopping a man Looked like a customer came up to me and said there's no cashier, so he walked away, I kept shopping I get up to the cashier and was rung up, I paid with cash and was looking for change, as I was getting the change out of my wallet, which was 77 cents, the cashier's giving me exasperated sighs like I'm taking too long, I'm the only customer at this point...so I go and smiling, take my cart over to where I got it from And she's taking all the carts outside, she then rudely states take that outside! I can't take all those carts! I said ok but I don't work here! I will not be returning! read more

Quality control issuee "Hygiene" is on top of the To-improve list at Asian stores, especially at Deli services (incl their kitchen).. I found myself in this neck of the woods over the weekend. I needed some rice vinegar and sesame oil so I decided to stop in. I don't buy those things at regular stores because they tend to be overpriced. I went in for two things and came out with 2 full bags of groceries. I'll admit that aside from the rice vinegar and sesame oil, the bags were full of snacks. My kiddo is in love with these guava candies that they sometimes give away in restaurants. Got a huge bag of those for under $3. Spicy peanuts, pandas, cornicks and more went home with me that day. Although I didn't buy any produce or meat, I did take awhile to look around since I hadn't been there before. The meat/seafood area smelled as you would expect. Fishy and raw. The quality looked good so I would consider buying there if I needed anything. The prawns in particular looked large and fresh. They also had a nice selection of ducks. They looked really good but I didn't feel like buying one since we had tons more shopping to do that day. I also saw spring rolls, bao buns, and a few sandwiches that would have tempted me had I not just eaten lunch next door. Overall, a good place to pick up some goods. read more

It's not a big as your other local markets but they have what you need...it's a little bit pricey in comparison to other stores. Just to set expectations, this place has the basic needs for any chinese/viet family. It's quite small/crowded. Location wise, I'm guessing it's the best in the local area. A good place to pick up meat, veggies, fruit and dry goods when you live up north and don't want to make that drive down to H-Mart or Ranch 99, or even Seafood City. Not as large as the ones I mentioned, but it's in Everett and they carry most of the products you find at the larger grocery stores. The aisles are pretty narrow so be careful trying to maneuver your cart as it can be a tight squeeze! Good meat and seafood selection, but there was a really strong odor (like that at a butcher shop) that was almost unbearable that day. Other than that, this is a good place to shop. They also have a "to-go" section where you can pick up Banh Mi, roast duck and roast pig. We ordered a whole pig for a future party, so we'll see how that turns out. read more
