Not a lot of poke options in Everett, so I was glad to see this one pop up. They're a little bit more stingy with their toppings, like the masago (smelt roe) and charge for tamago (egg) which I've never experienced at a poke place before. Options in general are definitely catered to the demographic here, so there are less spicy options and more Mayo-based protein options. Service is nice and they were patient with us when we had questions. A bowl with 1 protein is a little over $10 and although everything is in smaller portions, you can definitely get full, so it can be a cheap eat. Would recommend if you're in the area and craving poke but obviously Seattle (or even Lynnwood) would have better options if traveling is an option. read more

The 1 time it just wasn't packed up, the ingredients were still fresh and delicious! That staff are usually friendly and engaging and they make a presentable bowl. I get the 3 fish combo, half brown and white rice, spicy tuna, Spicy mayo Tuna, spicy Mayo salmon, edamame, pickled radish, jalapeno, fukurake, crab salad, masago, seaweed salad, cucumber, gojuchung and avocado sauce. Poke Boy has a great selection of ingredients. I always order their salmon and eel. They have lots of toppings to choose from along with their sauces. I asked for sauce on the side and it was an addition charge for the little container. There was also a charge for plastic bags. My daughter and I stopped into Poke Boy for lunch after a morning of grocery shopping. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Credit cards are an accepted form of payment. Poke Boy is clean, well-lit and vibrant. During our visit, there was a line of about 7 people. The line moved quickly and efficiently. There are a couple small tables indoors to eat at; however, the majority were taking their food items to-go. Orders are placed similarly to a Subway; down an assembly counter of ingredients, ending at the payment station. Poke Boy does not offer alcohol, but does offer a variety of unique thirst quenchers. Since this was my first-time experiencing poke, I followed my daughters lead and ordered the Build Your Own Bowl 2 Fish option for $14.99. White rice was my base and Spicy Tuna and Garlic Chili Salmon were my fish options. All my topping choices were part of the $14.99 price. The $0.75 extra topping charge is for any additional fish toppings. Our bowls were built in a sturdy well-portioned plastic bowl. Chopsticks were available upon request. The bowls were visually appealing with their fresh and colorful ingredients and fulfilling. Staff was friendly and efficient. Literally like if you ever had those pre-sliced fish fillets you buy in packs, that's how big the eel was. I also added avocado. My base was spring mix but he said I could do half rice if I wanted but I said I'm good but thanks for the heads up. He also asked if I wanted crab and I said sure. It was a heaping scoop that I didn't notice till I ate my meal. He said a lot of people don't like the crab and if you buy your poke from the sushi section at your grocery stores I could see why but their crab was amazing. Definitely don't skip. I added seaweed salad, pickled ginger and jalapeños. I wasn't sure what sauce to get so I asked for a recommendation. He did it how he like his; spicy mayo, eel sauce an something else. It was perfect. He gave me all the crunchy toppings and finished it with togarashi. It was incredible. My bowl was packed and brimming to the top. I had to eat a little bit before I could mix it but boy was it delicious. I also ordered the Mango Dragon Fruit lemonade which was good.
