Tamarind & guava margaritas

This place was delicious!!!! Be warned this place was poppin and we had to sit at the tables by the bar. There was not enough space for the food we ordered but it was worth it. You must try this place.

How can you go wrong g with a name like tacos and beer. You can't is the correct answer. Finally got around to trying this place and it's great. Food is good and the portions are more than generous and service is solid. There is a small bar area and room that has booths and tables (if I remember correctly there is a back patio as well but don't quote me on that). Portions were generous, I should have only ordered two tacos and that would have been plenty. Flavors were on point, of the three tacos the carne asada and birria were far above the shrimp in my opinion and I usually like shrimp best. Margarita had a bite and was well made. All in all I'd come back (and did!).

This location has been so many different restaurants over the years so we thought we'd stop in to see what Taco's and Beer had to offer. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. It's nice to see the Pride flag in the window welcoming a diverse community. Tacos and Beer offer indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating in the front is a couple small tables while the seating in the back is more like a hidden beer garden. A full bar is available for those who enjoy cocktails. The bar area itself is limited to a couple of seats. Happy Hour is offered daily from 2pm-5pm then again from 9pm-close on cocktails and food. Complimentary chips and salsa are provided to snack on while examining the menu. The tortilla chips are on the thicker side and the salsa reminded me of stewed tomatoes; bland. I had pint of Dos Equis for $7. My daughter had a Michelada for $16 and her boyfriend had a Pink Paloma for $15. We sipped on Casa Margaritas for $14 each. We all shared a Birria Quesadilla for $13 + $4 for meat: flour tortilla cheese, Pico de Gallo, lettuce and sour cream. For my meal I ordered 1 Tinga Taco for $5: shredded chicken, onion tomatoes and chipotle sauce on a double corn tortilla. I also had a Carnitas Taco for $5: slow cooked pulled pork, Pico de Gallo and red sauce on a double corn tortilla. Both tacos were served with sliced radishes, lime wedges and grilled onions. Both meat portions were ample. It was a toss up on which I liked better, leaning towards the Tinga. My daughter's boyfriend ordered two Carne Asada Tacos for $6 each: chopped beef, pinto beans, red sauce, onion and cilantro on a double corn tortilla. My daughter ordered four tacos, the first the Camaron Taco for $6: shrimp, Pico de Gallo, chipotle salsa and cabbage. Her second was the Pescado for $6: seasonal white fish, cabbage, Pico de Gallo and chipotle sauce. Her third was the Pork Belly for $5: sea salt, rosemary, onions, cilantro and red sauce. Her final taco was the Tinga Taco for $5: shredded chicken, onion tomatoes and chipotle sauce on a double corn tortilla. Of the four tacos the Pork Belly was her least favorite while the Tinga was her favorite. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was delicious and priced fairly. Cocktails seemed a bit overpriced. I look forward to returning in the future.

Second time trying this spot after my brother in law always raving about it. We tried various tacos again and they are SO good. This time I had the birria with consome and a camarone. My daughter had a kids quesadilla which was surprisingly way better than other places and we all killed a bowl of fresh guac. It's always so hard to decide which tacos to get but excited to try more another day. The service was good too but a little dark/loud in there in the evenings even with the little table lamp.

WINNING ! WOW this place lived up to my taco dreams. So I'm attending a Kraken warm up game in Everett recently and was in dire need of a pregame meal. After some research on YELP I discovered a place I'd been desiring to dine at in Seattle had a location in Everett. Well, at that moment I knew it was a taco Saturday and off I went. Ok I'm at the front entrance of a De Los Muertos celebration. The doors open wide and the day of the dead ambiance really livens the place up with its bright robust colors & skulls motif. An amigo showed up after I was seated for the taking of the order. It was an obvious order for me and that was a guacamole & chips starter and carne asada tacos for my meal. Well, the guac was amazing with fresh homemade chips and creamy guacamole. In fact you get a very large portion of the GUAC soo Much that we had extra but well worth adding to your meal.... Ok, MOMENT OF TRUTH Yelpers the TACOS ROCKED! A well portioned amount of carne asada topped with cilantro & onions with a splash of pico on each taco. The flavor bomb going off in my mouth was like the atom splitting for the first time. These were absolutely delicious tacos, you can't go wrong dining on these. I devoured my tacos with much satisfaction and vowed to return again. Muchas gracias for the amazing grub! FRANK B IS STUFFED & OUT!

When you go out for a drink and you order some food and it's one of the best Mexican food you have had in a long time. Staff was great and always checking on us. I do live about 50 minutes away from location but I will be making the drive for some more amazing food and great atmosphere.

We went here after a friend told how good the food was. We had recently got back from a two week trip in Mexico. The food here tasted just like being in Mexico again. Such really good food and drink!! The waiter was so engaging, friendly, and made us laugh and feel so welcome!! We will be coming back here again!!

The vibes of the restaurant are fun. The service is excellent, we didn't have to wait long for anything and they were patient taking our orders... giving us enough time to figure out what we wanted without rushing us. The food was excellent. The flavors were awesome. The carne asada marinade might have been my favorite carne asada I've had. The pork belly was really good, first time having it in a taco and it matched perfectly. I would probably skip the dessert the next time because the main course is more than filing enough. Definitely coming back. HIighly recommend.

I had the trio tacos She had the Birria tacos and her son rice with beans. Let me tell you...the food was foodie happy dance delicious The portions are big. I couldn't finish my plate. If you haven't tried this place.. add it! 5/5

Came to Tacos & Beer to celebrate National Margarita Day, and it was a great choice! The inside is cute with booth and table options. The margaritas were quite tasty, with plenty of options to choose from. I tried the mango and guava flavors, both of which were refreshing and well-balanced. As for the food, the Birria taco was absolutely delicious--rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The fish taco, on the other hand, was just average in my opinion; it wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out like the Birria. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch, adding to the experience. Service was great throughout the visit, with friendly and attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a solid spot for tacos and drinks, and I'd definitely come back

I absolutely love this place. They have incredibly large portions, excellent food, and great drinks. They don't have complementary chips and salsa however, they do offer their chips and guacamole right off the bat. We ordered a couple tacos ($5 each), chips and guac ($12) a jalapeño margarita a Cadillac margarita and Al Pastor nachos ($20). Their tortilla chips are homemade, which is amazing so by the time I nachos came, I was full plus I was tired of eating chips, but the nachos were phenomenal. between the two of us we spent about $100 after tax and tip. So it's pretty pricey but definitely worth it. I know I wanna come back during happy hour to see what the price difference is and portions. This is definitely a must try restaurant!!!!

Quesdaillas fritas with chorizo and cheese

In short You can tell by the name that this should be a fun place for drinks and food--they absolutely succeed at that. What the name might not tell you is that the kitchen is crazy ambitious and hard-working. In long This has been a few other good places through the years, and here's to hoping this one sticks. It seems like every new Mexican place we've tried the last couple years becomes our new favorite--we've been really lucky with good new spots opening that each do slightly different things. (Same with Thai places lately, coincidentally enough). This is somewhere between a taco shop and a sports bar, but with a crazy kitchen. When I saw the name of this spot, I'd heard good things, but nothing specific. I was hoping they'd have maybe half a dozen different meats for the tacos, and hoped they'd have a liquor license, not just beer. Wow, was I underselling the expectations. Tacos are maybe 1/6 of the menu, and there are more than 20 different kinds. You've heard of most of them, but there are some you might not have seen at many other places. They're $5 a pop, but they're bigger than street tacos, and stuffed heavily. Plenty of people could get full on two of them. We had the cochinita pibil, which I've seen only on TV, and it was amazing. So were the birria and corn/cheese tacos. The ceviche really hit the spot--great housemade tortilla, tons of flavorful citrus, nice fresh fish. Drained well before serving. This is one of those things that will be tough to skip every time, even if you want to keep trying new stuff off the menu. It'd take you multiple visits just to get through all the tacos! Chips and salsa are not free, but they are truly excellent. Especially the habanero salsa has tons of flavor (and some heat, too). Housemade chips. We got the quesadilla frita, which is a very rich dish, but absolutely delicious, and even getting full, we couldn't resist finishing it. We took still more tacos to family on our way home, and they were all a big hit. We brought ourselves home some pozole rojo for dinner, and by itself one order fed two people. Admittedly, that was a huge lunch, though. Man, everything about this place was excellent--including the spicy margarita. The service here is totally friendly and right on point throughout the meal. Some of the staff is a little quiet but they all smile warmly and keep an eye on you. I'd imagine the fact that we weren't speaking any Spanish yesterday kept a couple of them from being chattier. (I like that--I love when people are making and serving the food they grew up with). There's a big patio out back which will be great in nice weather. Inside is a scattering of tables and booths with a bar in back. Multiple flatscreens showing the ball game. This place is so much fun and so easy to hang out. Pro tip: Don't be like me. If you have your phone with you, scan your bill and save your server another table visit. Derp! I'll get that right next time.

Great taco options! They offer a wide variety of tacos and other plates. Single tacos are a pretty decent size (personally 2 was good enough to fill me up) I ordered a single doradito de birria (shredded beef) & and a camaron (shrimp). Server was very friendly, and restaurant was very busy and ambience was casual. There was a 45 minute wait on a Friday evening. I would definitely be going back for more.

This last weekend my wife and I were out and about finishing shopping and wanted to pick something…read moreup for lunch I had noticed a hotdog stand in a shopping store parking lot and had been thinking about giving them a try but they were a no show. So heading north we noticed a taco stand across from one of the chain burger places. Why wife knows how much I like street tacos so it was a no brainer. There was one customer ahead of so we had time to decide Both of us chose the taco plate, they showed three different options on the menu so we asked if we could have one of each which they said sure you get beans and rice as your sides. I notice that Elotes was also available so had to have that too!! It's nice that they have a debit card reader which made payment easier. Seams like a family run stand with mom running the show with dad manning the grill, I'm guessing their daughter takes orders and handles the toll plus helping where need. Everyone was friendly the order was given to us quickly. Now they were in a parking lot I didn't notice any tables but that was ok home is close and everything was hot when we got home. Each of the three tacos was moist and nicely seasoned. The beens and rice are pretty typical fare but good! Now the Elotes was delicious a corn on the cob dipped in a savory sauce dusted with a cheese powder with a drizzle of not a hot hot sauce but it has a little zing you gotta try it! I was looking to see if this stand was on Yelp when we ordered but couldn't find anything maybe I miss spelled the name so no pictures this time, sorry but next time I'll do better! Nice to have an option like this in the lake Stevens area will definitely be back.

Grape & Grain now also serve simple plates such as sandwiches, flatbreads and salads. Happy Hour is offered Mon-Fri from 11:00-4:00pm on wine and beer. Grumpy orders can either be given to the servers or placed at the truck window. Grumpy orders are paid directly to Grumpy's while G&G orders are payed for at the counter. Tuesday's are Open Mic Night from 5:30pm-8:30pm. During this visit, my girlfriend and I shared a bottle of Guardian Chalk line to sip on while visiting and enjoying open mic. Seats are limited and on our visit (Tuesday) several people were unable to find a seat. It was loud during our visit so it was hard to hear one another during our visit. Service was friendly and on the slow side. Thank you G&G for a nice evening. I look forward to returning in the future.
