Coming it, this place was quiet, which surprised me, because it was the only place open for lunch Sunday afternoon. We ordered easily at the counter and our food hit the table pretty fast. I got the Chile Rellenos. They were good, but nothing to write home about. The beans and rice were pretty plain too. It was a good meal for the price. Good food, good service. read more

This breaks my heart to make the following statement that they do not care what their Enchiladas taste like. Definitely canned sauce from Walmart. Super fake red and next to flavorless. The rice, at least a day old with s of crusty rice. I'm Hispanic, when I order Mexican food I expect to taste Garlic and Cumin neither of the pork or cheese enchiladas had a hint, they did had a slightly vinegar flavor of that woofy going stale food taste. Good luck and those poor workers close by are subject to fake ass Mexican food. My suggestion, take a week off, don't cook anything and gain your pride and prospective, this restaurant lacks both. Sorry Please don't feed the gringo's that crap ! You can watch "how to make homemade enchiladas"and fare much better using fresh spices and seasoning. read more

The food is decent for the price, but they are extremely unorganized, especially with online orders. Ambiance is very fast-food like, which is fine as I live 3 minutes away, so there is no reason for me to eat there. The last 3 online orders I have placed, they disregarded special instructions, including omitting avocado that I paid extra for, and didn't even start my order until showing up to pick up long after placing the order. Today I showed up after receiving a notification that my order was likely ready, went to the pickup counter, and the lady looked at the online receipt and told me 8 minutes. I came back 10 minutes later and she asked me what I needed, completely forgetting who I was and that she had told me 10 minutes earlier to come back. She then made my order after checking out a few more people, and missed 2 ingredients on my order. I like the food, the prices are good, but the service is wildly inconsistent. If it weren't so close to home, I wouldn't go back. Trying to save time by online ordering ended up costing me an extra 15-20 minutes. read more

Not the best but okay I'm a pinch. I ordered the Chori nachos and they had no queso and no salsa. Just plain beef and nachos accompanied with lettuce and shredded cheese. Probably the worst nachos I ever had at a Mexican restaurant. I gave this place a shot and I regret my decision. read more

El Sabor de Chihuahua - I was out for lunch and gave El Sabor Chihuahua a chance and found it to be very messy. I ordered the Chori Nachos and it was ok - Mexican Near Me - Everett, Washington

Flavors are alright but the food is set up on a line and just sits there all day so the meat is all dry and probably leftovers

My wife and I really enjoy this place. Very authentic, homemade Mexican cuisine. As you can tell by the picture, the did is beautifully prepared. The beef was seasoned perfectly and was tender. The peppers and onions grilled to perfection. Even their refried beans are better than most restaurants. All around excellent value. read more

Taco Tuesday is amazing at this place, walk up tell them how many and whether it's for there or to go and you are set Enjoy

The food is alright, I've been going there for a few years. The tacos are good and the menu is nice, I've stopped frequenting the restaurant because their help is awful. A young man with a bowl haircut makes the food crappy, and he has horrible counter manners. I'd rather go somewhere else. read more

Came here for lunch on Taco Tuesday, and I definitely found a new lunch spot! Service/location: the location is small with minimal seating and a large crowd on Taco Tuesday, so be ready for a backup plan I.e. taking the food to go. The service was fast, since the format is a build your own taco bar, and this place has it down to a science. Food: I got 2 pork and 1 chicken tacos, but next time I would get all pork - it was so flavorful! For Taco Tuesday, I spent $3.26 on 3 tacos! What a steal Parking: free, but the lot is shared by many other lunch spots, so it can be hard to get a spot read more

A great restaurant. I usually don't like showing up before closing time as I've worked in the restaurant business. Maps and yelp both say they close at 9pm. I showed up at 7:20 thinking I had plenty of time. their door says they close at 8 now, got told they were closed a full 40 min early. Update your closing times online or maybe close when you are actually supposed to close read more

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Customer service! I was unfamiliar with the names of the meats while ordering the Carne Asada fries and asked for the options and the lady serving was giving so much attitude. She rolled her eyes then started naming the options. She seemed mad the entire time and seemed impatient while serving me. I also thought you were able to get 2 meats with your fries and asked for another and she proceeded to go "extra meat?!?" with a stank face. The food was fine but I do not recommend going here... read more

We've gone to El Sabor de Chihuahua several times since the pandemic started and our food has always been so. freaking. good! My favorite thing to get is the Asada Fries but we've also tried other things like Gorditas and Flautas and they were always great. You choose what toppings you want and most entrees which is a huge plus for me. The employees have always been really nice and helpful every time we visited. They offer pickup and delivery options on apps like DoorDash and UberEats! Bonus points to always having our food ready on time when we order! I don't think we've ever had to wait longer than the time we were given. Keep up the great work guys! read more

I used to love coming here for tacos but the last few times I went they were disappointing and the employees were so rude for no reason. Didn't smile once and never looked at me while I was ordering...? I had to double check that they were in fact taking my order? I don't know if management changed or it was just seasonal employees but overall unpleasant and I'm probably going to be looking elsewhere now. read more

I stopped in here for lunch for the first time. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Parking is packed during lunch hour due to the surrounding businesses. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Orders are placed at the front counter, which means essentially zero waiter service. English is the second language here so be patient. While I dined here I witnessed numerous Hispanic (I was the only Caucasian in the restaurant) patrons placing to-go orders for a very large Burrito. The clientele is proof of the authenticity of the food. On Tuesday's, tacos are $0.99 each. One type of beer is offered here and that is Corona. A bottle of Corona is $4 or a Michelada can be purchased for $6. I started out with a basket of chips for $2.75 and a side of Pico de Gallo for $1.50. I was disappointed that salsa was not an option. The chips were extremely salted to the point that I couldn't eat them. The Pico de Gallo was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Enchilada (qty 4) meal (#10) with chicken and green sauce for $8.95. My meal was served with rice and my choice of beans. I chose the refried beans. The enchiladas were served authentically with corn tortillas. The chicken filling was tasty and generous. I was happy with my lunch choice. Overall, I'm glad that I stopped in here for lunch. In the future I will not dine inside again due to the lack of salsa and over salted tortilla chips. Next time, I look forward to placing a to-go order for a Burrito where I can fill with my choice of meat and veggies. read more

These women make great food, it is my go to for Mexican food. The portions are large, I usually have leftovers the next day. This is like the Subway of Mexican food, you go down the line and pick and choose what you want and the ladies who fix your food are very accommodating. I usually get the Veggie burrito or the taco salad which are both huge. I also like the fact the don't use that awful taco salad bowl that tastes like crap and is soggy on the bottom by the time your finished eating. My next thing to try is the Nachos Fries........can you just imagine!!! read more

Ok so I was turned onto this place by a coworker and he loves it. I just moved here from L. A. and am having problems finding quality Mexican. I cook at home but with the new job I don't always have the time. Mexican cooking is labor and time consuming if you know what your doing. The ladies were nice and I ordered a carnitas burrito with everything. It was ok hence the three stars. Four stars would have been it's good I might come back and five stars is they know what their doing and I will be back. Three stars it's ok and I won't be back. I know what it should taste like and it can be so much better. read more

This would be 5 stars but I think I got some food poisoning from this place... yet I'm still giving it 4 stars! That's how good the food is. It was pretty mild also. I'll go back, like whatevs. It's worth the risk (; This is like a Mexican subway in the way you can see the food prepared and also choose what items you want on top of your order from the bar. The women are quite nice and the atmosphere is cute. But bottom line is the food is tits. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I traveled from MV to Everett to try this place because the menu items looked so good. Too salty--everything across the board. Portions reasonable, but wish it had been tastier (which diesn't mean so much salt is required).

Avoid this restaurant! Customer service is absolutely terrible! First of all, I had just lost a very close relative earlier that day. After dealing with that, I just wanted to get some food and take my mind off of things. When I arrived to the restaurant, I was greeted with THE WORST attitude imaginable. I've never experienced anything like this before! No matter what I'm dealing with or good through, I never take it out on the next person, whatever! I treat everyone with kindness and respect. But, this employee ( I really wish I knew her name) made me feel as if I had did the worse thing possible to her and her family! It honestly makes me never want to go back to this establishment. Although I don't know her name, I'll try to describe her and I mean absolutely NO DISRESPECT but she's shorter and bigger than the other employees. Once again, i mean no disrespect but she wasn't wearing a name tag. So if you see a lady in there who matches this description, just turn around. Don't waste your time or money! read more

Taco Tuesday is only $1.25 and beef $1.50. The tacos have a lot of meat for the money. Ladies are friendly and authentic. Great place.

I hadn't been able to go to El Sabor de Chihuahua for almost four months. I had missed their food. I finally made it back this evening. The burst of flavors was more awesome than I had anticipated. The service is always great. If you are unsure about anything, ask. I have never in two years had poor service or bad food. I can't imagine what would cause that. I usually go for three tacos , all with different meats. My grandson gets a veggie burrito and my daughter changes up the outside, but sticks to the spicy chicken. We are never disappointed. read more

Decent for lunch, but it takes longer than expected to prepare your food. We went in a large group and it took them quite some time for all of us to get through the line. You would expect them to be a bit faster given their style but maybe they will get faster with time. They give you plenty of food. I tried the fries asada which is like a naked burrito on top of fries. They make the fries per order and then have a buffet-like/chipotle selection of items to go on top. Pretty tasty - my coworkers complained the fries were a tad too salty. I like extra salt so they were perfect for me. read more

Saw this place had opened up since I visit the coffee shop across the parking lot. Got dinner tonight - Chicken Enchiladas. Enchiladas were good, especially with the cilantro & pico de gallo they put on. It came with mexican rice and your choice of beans. I chose the refried beans over the other choices of black beans etc (I know, very average white male decision) The enchiladas were good. I thought the beans and especially the rice were kind of bland, or as the cool kids say 'meh'. Some seasoning would have done wonders. Looked like a mother/daughter team when I visited. I wish them well. It was about 5:00 on a Friday night and there was two people eating and two tables that should have been bussed. The young lady dished up the rice and beans in the to-go container. Meanwhile, my enchiladas were in the oven to get the cheese melted. Being in the business, I fully understand staging orders, but I was the only customer with an active order and my rice and beans were getting cold sitting there while my enchiladas were in the oven. I will revisit - because honestly I hope they can succeed. Being a small business owner is tough, I've been there. With some tweaks, I think this would be a great place to grab lunch or dinner. read more

These guys are so good and so cheap! Taco Tuesday is 99 cents per taco. It's insane there at lunch time on Tuesday but if you go at dinner time the lines are gone. During the rest of the week I think the tacos are $1.50 - still super cheap. They have a set up like Subway where you can add what you like to the tacos as they go. As a vegetarian I can get tacos with either the refried or black beans. The rice has chicken broth so skip it if you're a veggie. The hottest hot sauce is insanity. My husband can handle crazy levels of heat but this one was too much of a butthole burner, so be careful. This is a great place for a cheap dinner or lunch if you work in the area. PS: This is the place next to Pickle Time Deli read more

I wanted to like this place as it is close to work and it would be a great go to. I have tried it three times. Each time the service was non existent to rude att best.
