Their tacos are full of flavor and you can't go wrong with their birria tacos, which is a staple in my household. The only reason I did not give five stars is because in my humble opinion, the salsa could use some work, but other than that, everything is always delicious. Great flavors and really fresh! I love that they took the time to toast the tortillas for the tacos and grilled the onions. Tamales were really hot and fresh too. Loved them! I really liked the green salsa. Red salsa was too hot for me. One small minor thing was that lime was too dry to squeeze out any juice but I have limes at home so it wasn't a big deal. Our first meal of the trip was at El Taco Maestro. It's a food truck with a sheltered hut to sit in. We dropped in on a busy Saturday (1:45pm) for a late lunch. Service was quick and friendly. Despite the line of customers, our food was ready in less than 10 minutes. Menu consists of a dozen items, 8 types of meat to choose from. One of the few places where all their meats are the same price. They give you a green (mild) and red (more fiery) salsa. - 6x Tacos ($2.50 USD) - two lengua, asada, al pastor, carnitas and cabeza. Good portion of meat in each taco along with a grilled jalapeño, grilled onions, diced raw onion, cilantro, limes and radish. Favourite was the beef tongue (tender and moist). - 2x Tamales ($3.00 USD) - pollo (chicken) and puerco (pork). Nicely sized tamales. Chicken was the better of the two. Pork was a touch on the dry side. Very pleased with the food at ETM. Would happily come back for more. read more

I love, love, love this place! My go-to taco truck when I was living in Washington. I'm so glad I got to visit on my drive down from Vancouver. They have a good selection of tacos, burritos, and bowls. I always go for the carne asada tacos and a cup of horchata. The price is not too expensive and the tacos are good quality and delicious! They never skimp out on the toppings too. If you want extra sauce, I think it's an extra 25 cents. The service is always quick and friendly and there's plenty of parking. Great tacos for a budget price. It is a taco truck so just keep that in mind. The quality is great though for cheap tacos. I wouldn't recommend the burritos as they don't wrap it every well but the tacos that I've had so far from them are all top notch. The service is nice and quick to get our order out. I've been coming here for years for lunch and dinner and the food is always amazing! I typically get carnitas or adobada tacos and sometimes the quesadilla. My son really wanted tacos for his birthday party so I called the day before to see if they could do a large order of tacos and they were able to do it for us! As a big fan of the Bellevue location I was delighted to find a second location 5 minutes from where I am working. Tacos every day! If anything this location is even better with more dishes such as chili relleno and heuvos rancheros. Personally I can't hep ordering an adovada and a cabeza taco. I pile the grilled onions on the tacos (ask for extra.) and eat the adovada over top of the cabeza so all the drippings go in to my next taco. Amazing food, prices, service, everything! At first I was a little skeptical because it was a food truck in a weird gravel lot, but then I remembered that those places are usually the most tasty! I went during an off time so there were only a few people there thankfully, and I ordered 4 asada tacos (although I think next time I'll order 5). The tortillas were fresh and soaked with the juicy goodness of the beef. It was toppes with plenty of cilantro and I was given some limes, pickled radish, and salsa. Aside from the fact that there are no chips on the menu, these guys have both the best food and most-interesting menu of any taco truck for miles around. Their food probably tops any brick-and-mortar restaurant in the area as well. Everything here is legit. It's a vacant lot by Highway 99, but they've put up a sturdy picnic shelter where you can sit and eat. There's a concrete pad where they park and plug in to open for business. Pretty much any time the light's on, there's a line of cars at their feet, and people sitting "inside" chowing down. Thankfully, they also partner with some delivery services, which makes it even easier to get your hands on their stuff. The tacos here have all the basic components you want: lime, radish, great house salsa, fresh tortillas with real flavor. Most importantly, the meat is still juicy and tender, and explosively flavored. Street tacos are one of those things you catalog in your head if you love finding the best of this or that in the restaurant world, and Maestro earns its name: nobody else matches their flavor or texture. They get it just right. They have a ton of other tasty options, though I tend to order the tacos most often. The mulitas and flautas are always right on point, and I've tried other things that escape my memory at the moment--but I know I've always liked everything I've tried. There's a lot of competition for the taco crown around here, and that includes a lot of places I'm happy to hit again and again. But these guys gotta be the best. read more

I cannot speak high enough of this amazing truck. The food is, hands down, better than restaurants or other trucks. Learned about it from yoga friends at nearby yoga clinics and drive over 30 minutes to keep coming back here. Love how friendly and helpful the staff is and how amazing every single item is. Let me just say, I absolutely love street tacos and when my sisters told me about this truck, I was skeptical at first. She herself is a self proclaimed taco lover and after I gave it a try months back, this has become my favorite local spot. I always get 2 carnitas and 2 asada to satisfy my craving and they have never disappointed in all the times I've gotten them. On their own, the taco's are delish but then paired with the two hot sauces it comes with, it elevates it to another level. I've tried the chicken and it's good as well but those two mentioned above are my personal favorites. My sisters go to is the the spicy carnitas and adobada, my niece likes the tamales and my other sister liked their wet burrito when she tried it once. Best taco truck ever! I discovered them when my friends had them cater at their wedding. So glad I went to that wedding...ha! For $1.50, you can get a delicious steak taco with the perfect sprinkling of raw onions, radish slices, cilantro, and grilled onions to top it off. Depending on the day, 2 or 3 of those can fill me up. Which means one can get a balanced, nutritious (I'm no nutritionist), satisfying, satiating meal for less than $5. Five dollars with change! Their sopitos are also yummy, generously loaded with meat and fresh veggies. I also like their tamales and salsas. Got the burrito one time and wasn't a fan. Everything was too mushy and wet or something. They are in the gravel lot next to the Shell gas station on 99. They take cash AND cards. They are always friendly. They're clean! Knocking two stars off because of today's encounter. First star off: The woman taking orders (not the usual one) was incredibly rude and abrupt, both to me and to my daughter. Made my daughter repeat her order twice, for no reason, (daughter is 17 and speaks perfectly well) and had a mean, annoyed tone with both of us. Then this woman basically yelled at us when she had called out an order and nobody responded. Apparently it was our order, but she kept calling out the wrong meat, so we ignored her, because what she was saying wasn't what we had ordered. Super rude and finally almost threw the order down to us. Another star off because of this same woman. She was wearing her mask below her nose!
