TACOS! Every time I visit Washington, El Taco Maestro is a must-stop for me. You definitely get your money's worth, and the vibe is super chill. Their tacos are simple yet so delicious, and they serve them up fast. I also love that they have a hand-washing station at the truck, along with snacks and drinks for purchase. If you're ever craving tacos, this is the place to go

Our first meal of the trip was at El Taco Maestro. It's a food truck with a sheltered hut to sit in. We dropped in on a busy Saturday (1:45pm) for a late lunch. Service was quick and friendly. Despite the line of customers, our food was ready in less than 10 minutes. Menu consists of a dozen items, 8 types of meat to choose from. One of the few places where all their meats are the same price. They give you a green (mild) and red (more fiery) salsa. - 6x Tacos ($2.50 USD) - two lengua, asada, al pastor, carnitas and cabeza. Good portion of meat in each taco along with a grilled jalapeño, grilled onions, diced raw onion, cilantro, limes and radish. Favourite was the beef tongue (tender and moist). - 2x Tamales ($3.00 USD) - pollo (chicken) and puerco (pork). Nicely sized tamales. Chicken was the better of the two. Pork was a touch on the dry side. Very pleased with the food at ETM. Would happily come back for more.

Was craving tacos and came here to get my fix of it. Got 4 tacos about $2.5+tax per taco - 3 al pastor and 1 carnitas. It was pretty reasonably priced. The meat was juicy and flavorful. They have a small covered sitting area for dining in. Overall a decent place and will recommend.

I love, love, love this place! My go-to taco truck when I was living in Washington. I'm so glad I got to visit on my drive down from Vancouver. They have a good selection of tacos, burritos, and bowls. I always go for the carne asada tacos and a cup of horchata. The price is not too expensive and the tacos are good quality and delicious! They never skimp out on the toppings too. If you want extra sauce, I think it's an extra 25 cents. The service is always quick and friendly and there's plenty of parking. There's also a seating area right across the taco truck. Cash and credit card accepted!

This is a no-frills, taco truck/stand with really friendly service. The tacos are so delicious, one of the best I've had in the north of Seattle area, and I will definitely be coming back here time and time again! Also if you like spicy, the red sauce will make you sweat - but in a good way!

Found my new favorite taco/burrito place! Big portions! Service is always great and friendly as well. Been looking for a good wet burrito place and I believe I found it.

Put all the tacos on a platter for our event! Was so tasty!

I've been coming here for years for lunch and dinner and the food is always amazing! I typically get carnitas or adobada tacos and sometimes the quesadilla. My son really wanted tacos for his birthday party so I called the day before to see if they could do a large order of tacos and they were able to do it for us! We ordered 12 carne asada, 12 pollo, 12 carnitas and 12 adobada tacos. Everything was fresh and hot and ready to go when we came to pick it up right after they opened!! Highly recommend for lunch, dinner and even parties!!

If you're driving late in the evening you may have just missed them. Just on Evergreen way, driving north they are on your left. Quick and simple food with one of the nicest people working there

Amazing food, prices, service, everything! At first I was a little skeptical because it was a food truck in a weird gravel lot, but then I remembered that those places are usually the most tasty! I went during an off time so there were only a few people there thankfully, and I ordered 4 asada tacos (although I think next time I'll order 5). The tortillas were fresh and soaked with the juicy goodness of the beef. It was toppes with plenty of cilantro and I was given some limes, pickled radish, and salsa. I honestly don't know what else to say except that it was so freaking delicious and at such an amazing price for what you get and that everybody needs to try this!

The best al pastor I have had in Washington. Great / cheap tacos and burritos, Mexican coke, and covered seating.

In long I definitely miss the awesome Thai place that used to be here, but Luna offsets that nostalgia. They're doing a great job. There's a cool courtyard, with iron fencing and gating that seems to suit the Mexican decor even better than it did the previous tenant. There's a good-sized winding dining room indoors too. Brightly-colored paint, nice matching tables and chairs, some big screens probably tuned to the game. Service is right on point, cheerful and low-key, ready to make you feel right at home. You get a menu right away, water with chips and salsa in a minute or two. The drink menu isn't the main focus, but you get basic versions of most anything. I had a Luna Margarita with lots of fresh fruit in there--even had to clear the straw at one point. The chips and salsa are generic. Just pico and tomato sauce stirred up. Would be nice to see them make something in house, but not too many places do that (fewer than you might think). The carne seems to be the star of the show, and it was tasty. Ordered medium and came out closer to well, but still fully tender and juicy. Tortillas were fine, the roast corn and scallions were good, and the rice and beans held up their end of the bargain. Little bit of guac and fresca in the middle of the plate. They're working hard for your Mexican food dollar, and if you're anywhere nearby, they're easily worth a stop.

She took us to the back which featured a bar area and twinkling lights on the ceiling! Loved the plants and decors on the wall. Our server was so attentive and kind! Me and my girl friend's husband ordered the Mar Y Tierra, thinly cut steak with garlic shrimp and mushrooms on the slide with rice, refried beans, guacamole, pico de gallo and choice of corn or flour tortillas! The steak was my favorite -- so juicy, tender and flavorful! They have a great variety of drinks! I got the watermelon basil margarita. They also have Jarritos soda which, my girl friend tried the guava and it was good! You have to get here before peak or you may not get a parking spot. They do have parking at the back but I bet if it's a peak night, it'll be crowded. We will definitely be back next time!

Ordered Cadillac margaritas which came out quickly, not very strong, good flavor overall (not too sweet). Chips and salsa were good, guacamole could use more lime. Shared a chile relleno which was standard. Daughter ordered pollo a la crema which was not overly creamy, chicken was tender. Sister got albondigas (meatball soup), broth had a nice roasted corn base. I ordered their menudo which came with tender (clean tasting) intestines, and one pata (foot). I added some of their chili oil which was smoky and balanced. Tried their other salsitas which were also good, habanero had good heat and pineapple had a nice touch of sweetness.

In short The name helps a lot--it really is a family place,…read morelots of booths and tables packed into one dining room. But the kitchen is doing a ton of great things from scratch and the menu is huge. It's way more than just a corner Mexican spot. In long The ratings have been high forever and we've been wanting to try it for at least a year. Finally found ourselves with the right amount of time in the right location yesterday. We caught them after the lunch rush, and dude was super nice to come out and hold the door so I could wheel my bride in. There are a few flatscreens up, and in back there are single-occupant washrooms. It's not a big room, but it's festive and they clearly have regulars, judging by the warm greetings are a couple more tables filled up. We had our pick of tables and we settled in to go over the hugely long menus. Do you want something familiar or something fewer places offer? The kitchen runs the gamut here. You get fresh, light chips on the table with some delicious scratch salsa that even packs a bit of heat. We finally settled on pozole and tacos al carbon. They bring out avocado salsa and pineapple salsa, which both add a ton of good flavor. The red table salsa is where the heat is, though. The tacos were delicious, tons of juicy chopped steak inside. I went with this overly-safe pick and didn't regret it at all. The pozole was incredible, lots of real bone stewed in with the meat, tons of great flavor in the broth and super soft, tender, flavorful pork. Lots of tasty condiments. Beautifully homey and comforting soup to warm your bones on a cold wet day. We took more than half of it home--very generous portion. We also checked out a margarita and a mai tai, and both were excellent. You really have to try the food here to get the full effect of how good it is. You can kinda tell the kitchen is ambitious by reading the menu online, and that's promising for sure. But all those house-made scratch touched throughout every subrecipe will exceed even high expectations like ours. Great place, and we're dumb for taking so long to try it.
