Great drink, I did think the place was closed at first because looking in the place from the outside the place looked dark as if it was closed.

What a unique spot! My first time really going to a Mexican dessert spot and I'm so happy that I did. It was a fun experience with lots of different types of desserts. You can't get elsewhere. I got the Horchata dream which was more of a parfait, it was very filling and not too sweet, I think if I were to come back, I would stick with their milkshakes. Friendly service and I will come back.

Been here twice. Do not judge the area or the people who hangout in this parking lot for the quality of this place. The inside is gorgeous and colorful. They have a mural on the wall. They sell handmade dolls as well. They had everything the first time I went, and I got the esquites, the horchata, and then mango on a stick (my boyfriend didn't want it on a stick he wanted it in a cup). The presentation was on point, although very sweet and not in my diet, well worth it! The most recent time I went, they were out of the corn so we got some sort of chip thing with fruit and Nicola and pork rinds and peanuts, it was nottttt my thing but did have good flavor

This place was a cute and small with great choices for snacks or dessert. They have elote when youre craving it, which i havent seen too much in the area. I ordered a refreshing watermelon drink. It was so yummy! I would stop by again for a quick bite to eat.

SO good!! The fruit was fresh (I got a strawberries item), the staff nice, the place was clean and spacious, the decor colorful and welcoming, the parking ample, and the prices normal. My partner and I loved it here and will be coming again!

The mangonada was perfect! The sweetness of the mango and the spicy tartness of tajin has to be one of my favorite flavor pairings, and they got it down just right! I would recommend getting one and sharing, but if you are determined enough, you can definitely devour one on your own Also ordered a horchata, which was great as well, not too sweet and just enough cinnamon. This was the perfect place to satiate my Mexican dessert cravings!

It took me a awhile to work up the nerve to visit Las Fridas. The shop sits in a strip mall with a busy parking lot and a notoriously transient vibe. But eventually I couldn't say "no" to the pull of Mexican street food-inspired snacks and desserts. The first thing I ordered was the Dulce Conchita, a beautifully purple-hued pan dulce filled with Nutella, strawberries, and whipped cream. This combination is dynamite! This will forever be my go-to sweet at this shop. I also ordered a mango on a stick. They put it in a styrofoam container to make it easier to carry if you take it to-go. The mango wasn't quite ripe but that didn't stop me from eating all of it. I really missed these and they're not easy to find (cries in Californian). I look forward to the season for them so that I can get a fully ripe one. On a subsequent visit, my husband got the novel pepihuate: a cucumber halved, seeded, and filled with peanuts, chamoy, lime sorbet, and Tajín. I know he liked it because he offered one bite and then it disappeared. On that visit I tried the chilaquiles (which were in a cup and a snack item, not a breakfast item). Next time I will try one of their fruit bowls topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce, or a mangonada. I noted that they have various savory snacks as well. The people in the store are always nice and friendly, and I haven't had a problem with parking in the parking lot or the many characters that hang out around this area downtown. If you're concerned about parking in the lot, there is plenty of street parking along Colby. And if you'd like to stay home, you can order via app. But please order. I hope these folks stay in business for a long time.

The service is very quick for how elaborate and great quality the food and desserts are that they make! The desserts at Las Fridays are some of my favorite, always fresh and refreshing, with lots of options for chocolate and fruit lovers. Very beautiful and elaborate drinks, smoothies, and milkshakes to have with your food or dessert. One of my favorite places to go as the menu is huge with tons of options that never disappoint! Also has amazing artwork and good music. You're missing out on a gem if you don't check this place out!

A gem. Beautiful little spot with excellent customer service and DROOL-WORTHY snacks. I got elote with takis (without nacho cheese) and frutas en vaso. Employee happily answered any questions I had. Corn was hot, takis were crunchy, fruit was delicious and fresh.

So happy that this place is right around the corner from my house! perfectly delicious snacks and very friendly staff. haven't had anything on the menu that we didn't like. our favorite snack here is the esquites, for sure!

We went a little overboard with the snacks here: mangonada, elote with takis, molletes, and a torito to drink. The staff were patient, courteous, and the service was quick. Everything was fresh and tasty. We throughly enjoyed everything. Definitely will be coming back for more snacks.

In short It's a quiet little hole in the wall. Okay, right?…read moreIt's also an influencer-driven phenomenon like Everett sees only rarely, if ever. Incredible lineup of breads and pastries in the Kurdish tradition. In long I must've driven by this place 50 times at the very least over the last few years. I never had the slightest idea what was happening back here. Cookies, Mexican, Central American, Filipino, taking my lovely bride to get her nails done, I've been in this parking lot at least monthly since they opened. It took influencer reels to finally get me in. Yeah, I'm dumb. It's the farthest-back corner in a sprawling strip mall, mixed in with at least a dozen other sprawling strip malls on a 6-lane road by the big mall. Lots of chain businesses. You can't assume that every place through here oozes character, but this one does. Inside, it's a couple chairs, a couple pastry cases, a little shelving, and hundreds of square feet of kitchen behind that. Multiple big ovens. Maybe half a dozen folks working away. Super friendly happy vibe, though I personally don't speak the language. Saturday afternoon I came in after a reel blew up online. Turns out they had a line out the door earlier that day. Gorgeous sunny weekend, everybody with free time came in. There were like 6 cookies left. In the whole place. Bakers were doing nothing but cleaning by that point. After I saw the video of dozens of people in line (on their Insta), I scrolled down a bit and saw that dude's baking videos with his kid get up to and beyond a million likes. For a little bakery. In Everett WA. Forgive me for not knowing this was even possible. Anyway, those cookies. Brownie cookies with a dollop of cream frosting in the middle. So damn good. A little crisp outside, soft and chewy inside. This isn't even something they list on their website and it's one of the better cookies I've had. Evidently they just throw it in the case as a special when the spirit moves 'em. This morning I thought I solved the puzzle. Went in right after they opened. On a school day. Nope. They had pita, croissants, and 3 pieces of baklava. I got some of each, including all the baklava. Expecting it all to rock at least as hard as those cookies. I had my eye on 3 or 4 other things from their website, but dude said they got crushed on a MONDAY MORNING and sold out of a bunch of stuff. Okay. Challenge accepted. I gotta keep coming back with my fingers crossed, I guess. lol

It tasted like they used European butter, because it had a slightly fermented tang which I have only had in French bakeries in Seattle and I absolutely love. The croissants are also very buttery and heavy, beware, but such a delight. Also had an eggplant curry and flatbread - they were super fresh. But my favorite thing here was the croissant.

My go-to late night sweet treat spot. Definitely for the chewy cookie enjoyers…read more Food: (4/5) I really appreciate places nearby that are open past 8 or 9pm. Luckily, this place makes really good cookies too! I probably get half a dozen once every month or two. My favorites are the peanut butter cookie, fruity pebble, and oatmeal raisin (don't hate on oatmeal raisin it is undeserved). They usually have some sort of seasonal cookie or rotating flavor. I recently had the peppermint and red velvet cookies, both of which were very good. I would describe their cookies as large, flat, and chewy/soft. I'm usually a crunchy cookie person but these hit the spot. Service: (5/5) The store is pretty small, with just enough room for you to stand in front of the counter, so service is naturally really quick. They're always very nice though and I've never had any issues. Other notes: I believe they have a counter at the Everett Mall food court and they move to their own store down the street once the mall closes. I've only ever visited after mall hours though, but this is just what an employee told me a couple years back.

My friend moved to downtown Everett last year and is still exploring the area. She told me about…read morethe vegan joint nearby that she hadn't been to yet. We're both omnivores who eat a fair amount of plant-based fare for health reasons (I have allergies and intolerances, she's heeding doctor's advice). To be clear, this is a cafe, not a full blown restaurant. They serve luncheon fare, but it's a small operation so be either patient to don't bother - especially if there's a line. It's counter ordering with payment expected in advance. The tables closest to the window are a *little* harrowing because of the ADA ramp that leads to the door: the closest chairs can teeter down the ramp if the chairs are pushed back too far. Be careful. There are huge, regular, and small tables available. The biggest table is a little tricky to navigate for folks who want to sit in the booth side, but once seated it's quite lovely. I ordered the Pesto Pasta (involving zoodles: zucchini noodles) and a Sun Juice. My friend ordered the Grilled Cheese and Bisque. Please note: it's worth looking around this place while waiting for your food. You can conceivably get your own water, napkins and cutlery if you walk far enough along the counter towards the back of the restaurant. Back there, you may also notice a single-occupancy restroom and bins for bussing your own dishes. The Sun Juice arrived first, freshly blended, and was delicious. If that's what their juice is like, I look forward to exploring their smoothie offerings. My pasta arrived looking BEAUTIFUL on a bed of spinach, and smelled just as good. It tasted a teensy bit more of salt than I would've liked, but then I speared a sun dried tomato with my next bite and remembered that I'm not a food critic, just a happy customer. Although I'm not generally a fan of zoodles, they seemed to have the art of cooking them down pat: they didn't distract from the pesto at all. The bisque had an artful design of (coconut? cashew?) cream on top. My friend was delighted to note that it was a bit of spice to it: nothing challenging, but just enough for her to find comforting. Given the light and airy look of the inside and the rather rustic / flower-child look of the outside, she was not expecting that surprise. She was so impressed with the grilled cheese sandwich that she offered me a bite: we were both quite impressed with the "cheese" they used, as the item was listed as vegan on the menu. My friend kept whining that she's doomed, as they're close to where she lives *and* they deliver. Oh, yeah - poor her, indeed. Alas, alack, and so on.

Tried the Bukan Bowl--delicious! Soup and cappuccino were solid too. Indoor vibe could use a lift…read more Cappuccino: 8/10.
