I did a take out order but they were helpful and greeted me nicely. I tried the taco plate (pastor) with Birria tacos on the side and a horchata. I wasn't a huge fan of the pastor marinade. I think it over took the pork flavor but it wasn't bad. I was into the birria. And the two salsa options were great. The orange one is HOT but not burn your bootyhole bad haha. Horchata was tasty. This place is underrated for sure. One reason being not visible from the streets. It's hidden behind couple of warehouses type of buildings or offices. Just want to start with how good their food is. I have picked up food from here a few times already. It never disappoints. May be it's burrito, enchiladas, pupusas or tacos. I was never disappointed with my picks! Plenty of options on their menu. And they have daily specials too. Service was always great. The ladies work there are sweet and truly amazing! Always touched by their great customer service! I was contemplating horchata or the coconut drink they have..I went with horchata and she gave me an extra cup to try the coconut drink and it was 10/10. Good hidden gem mexican spot. It's easy to miss but it's on the backside of the silver dollar casino strip mall. It has a entrance on the back and you can also get to it through the Mexican deli located on the front next to the casino. It looks like they've adjusted their menu. What I appreciate is you can throw any of their meat options into a burrito including pastor, chili Verde, chili Colorado etc. I got the enchiladas mi rancho with Chipotle sauce and it was awesome. The sauce was spicy, smokey, and creamy and the chicken inside was good too. I will definitely be coming back. read more

This place was such an awesome find. I had 4 tacos (2 pollo, 2 asada), one pork tamale, and a horchata to drink. The tacos were very flavorful and their habanero hot sauce was in point. Their tamales are so BOMB! They go fast and there's a reason why. The horchata was really good also. It had the perfect balance of sweetness and cinnamon. This place was so good I came back the next day and had the same thing. I only took one photo of the tamale because the food was so good. I'm a Los Angeles native/Latina, I tend to be pretty bias when it comes to Mexican food. I'm glad I came here!! I went to this restaurant today and the food here reminds of home. Delicious, service was top quality, and their ceviche was one of the best I've ever had! I'll be back here tomorrow. I love this place! Staff is friendly enough and it's ultra clean inside. The salsa is a bit runny for my taste but it's still good and is cheaper than most places. It's connected to the tienda, which I also love! It's great to come here for take-out and pick up a beer and some candy from the tienda next door. It's safe to say this is my go-to Mexican place in the Bothell/Mill Creek area. Never had a bad experience and I've been here several times. I needed horchata, and found the Tienda Mexicana y Taqueria. I was hungry, so I ended up having dinner on the other side - the store and restaurant have entrances on either side of the building, but connect via a small passage between the two. The atmosphere is appropriate. It's a humble, Mexican restaurant, where what I expected is what I got. I had a vegetarian burrito and a Modelo for about $15. The portion was huge. The veggies were just slightly raw, but I kind of liked it that way. The service was appropriately Mexican - attentive at first, and then it kind of petered out. If I am in the area again, and need a quick Mexican bite, I'd consider going there again. read more

WARNING! I went into this place for the first time today and I don't know if my experience was unique or part of a policy. There were about 8 or 9 people eating when I entered. I ordered a lunch combo ($8.95) of huevos con chorizo and chile relleno to go. After I ordered 4 or 5 more people came in and all ordered and received their food before me. After about 30 minutes (longest I have ever waited for Mexican take out in my life), the cashier said okay, that will be $17.05. I said how can it be $17.05 when your menu says $8.95. i showed her the menu. She said "no, not both for $8.95. I'm giving you special for $7.95 each". She then went to the kitchen window talked to someone and came back and said, "Yeah $17.05". I walked out. I'm not sure if I had to wait so long and then try to be ripped off because I looked gullible or white. All the other people who ordered after me and received their food before me were hispanic. Take a look at the menu pictures on this page. Does the lunch combo special look like it should cost $17.00??? I live right up the street from this place. They could have had a lifelong customer. I used to love the restaurant back in the beggining of 2012-2013. We loved to go over Saturday night for karaoke night, the place always had people and my favorite were the ceviche tostadas and sangria. We always felt welcomed and felt like family but when the new owners moved in things changed rapidly. The food was good in the beginning and the drinks were also good. Things started to go downhill the food wasn't as good and the owner saying "I changed the plates and recipes and made them better because the previous owner's food wasn't as good". That was the first impression from the new owner/cook, saying he was better than someone else and telling it to the previews owner's costumers. Then we went there for karaoke on a Saturday night and the place was empty only a few very drunk people and no one was really singing so not as fun. We decided to stay and eat some dinner, there was a clearly very drunk man on the other side of the restaurant who threw some salsa and chips on the floor when a song came up. ( not sure what that was about) also there were no other women other than me and the waiter and the owner didn't say anything even though the drunk man was making a mess and verbally harassing the waiter saying how pretty she was and I'm sure he threw the salsa and chips just so she would bend over. I didn't feel safe that night all I wanted was to get our food and eat as fast as we could and leave. I have not returned since the incident and I'm not planning on returning. I tried this restaurant for the first time last night. It was a Friday night about 6 pm. First, the place is really hard to find. It's in the back of a strip mall behind the casino and I drove around several times trying to find it. When I went in, I was the only customer for quite awhile. The waitress seated me and brought me chips and salsa. The salsa was kinda spicy and I had to ask her for a water. The chips tasted a little greasy to me. I ordered a chalupa and chimichanga combo. The presentation was not very good and the chalupa shell was greasy and fried too long. The rice and beans were pretty good. The waitress was very inattentive to me even though I was the only customer for about 25 minutes. I will not be a return customer as I did not feel welcome at all . read more
