The restaurant has a lot of seating and is in bothell downtown so there is plenty of parking. The service was okay and the food was not that good. I ordered the fajitas and it was not good and dry as well. The salsa did not make it taste better. Probably would not recommend the place. We also tried the enchiladas which was no better. The chips and salsa in the beginning were good and helped us get through the meal

Food was DELICIOUS! I got the chicken enchiladas with spicy chipotle sauce! Highly recommend. Great service, friendly staff, and great environment with parking!

I don't typically take a lunch break while working out in the field but I am so glad that I did! There are some cute restaurants in this alleyway but Julio's stood out to me. It looked spacious and inviting. I was greeted pretty quickly and was served chips and salsa. I liked how thick their chips are and the salsa was fresh and tasty. I wanted something different from what I typically see at other Mexican restaurants so I chose the Puerco en Salsa Verde. It was served with a side of rice, refried beans and choice of flour or corn tortillas. I opted for flour. The rice was dry but that is the only not-so-positive comment I have. I'm a fan of salsa verde and this dish did not disappoint! Tender pork swimming in a bright pool of green goodness hit the spot. The portion is pretty big for a lunch which provided me enough leftover for dinner. Just as I was leaving, a large group sat in their outdoor seating area. Next time I visit, I plan to do that.

Julio's in Bothell downtown apparently has been around for a while. It serves a good variety of Mexican dishes and alcoholic drinks. I would call it a family restaurant. It's kid friendly. The interior is a bit outdated and could use a little remodeling. Seats are ripped in places, tables feel sticky. Menus don't smell good. Aside from that, the service is lovely and attentive. Mojitos are very good! I'd come back just for the mojito haha. They serve chips and salsa, which taste freshly made. Chips are thin and crispy. Salsa has a perfect level of spice (for my Caucasian taste buds). The tacos vampiros were pretty good. 2 tortillas stuck together with cheese in the middle, I've never seen that before but I approve. The steak was cooked perfectly. Steak fajitas were good. It's a huge portion. Lots of meat with onions and peppers. The only thing that threw me off is their sour cream...it didn't taste like sour cream at all...not sure what that was. I know that's a strange thing to pick up on but im Eastern European and sour cream is a staple that I know and love. I would come back here with kids to try more dishes. It's a solid 4 star restaurant.

We wanted Mexican food for dinner and decided to try Julio's. I got the Chicken Quesadilla , my husband got the Pollo Chipotle. We enjoyed both of our dinners and will be back for more.

Close to where I was staying overnight and high rating got me here. Warm welcome and friendly service (Alejandra) was a good sign. I wanted enchiladas but was restricted to just one sauce. So I ordered 3 "sides" so that I could get one red (beef), one green (pork), and one mole (chicken). The latter was my favorite. The only thing I didn't like was how quickly the tortillas fell apart. Guacamole was fresh and seasoned just right. Flan was creamy. Nice ambiance, plenty of seating inside and out and nice background music was pleasant. Will come back.

Good service and decent food. Friday night is date night for my husband and I, and we decided to stop in at Julio's for this particular Friday night. I got a margarita which was great paired with the chips & salsa. For food, we split the Carne Asada, which was certainly big enough for us to split, but unfortunately a bit chewy and not as high-quality meat as we expected. We still ate the whole thing and enjoyed our experience, but we would get another dish if we came back!

Julio's is hands-down the best Mexican food in a town, the service is always warm and welcoming as well.

Great food but no atmosphere. It's ok in the summer because you can eat outside. Inside it is cold looking and feeling.

I really want to order take out from here ,but every time I call no one picks up! Is this normal?, How do I order to go food from Julio's?

GrubHub, DoorDash, and UberEats all will deliver.

Do the cooks and servers wash their hands?

You have rated a food truck in a gas station parking lot as five stars, I have to wonder what prompts the question regarding a "better than average" mexican establishment with running water and a usually full dining room.

Mexican food in the states is hardly ever what it is in Mexico but this comes close. The food is SO good. From the birria tacos to the tex mex options, it's all incredibly good. The service here is slow and has been pretty slow every time I have come in. I found myself getting a bit frustrated last time I came in. But the servers are kind, friendly, and you can tell they care about their customers. If you're in a time crunch maybe pick somewhere else. But I would take the time and try this place out!

They do not hold back on rice and beans either. The chips come out hot, they use sustainable packaging, and it's super easy to call an order in. My shrimp enchiladas were amazing, and the server who helped me out was super kind and prompt in getting our order, even on a busy night. I will say- the margaritas at the restaurant are amazing, but we did not love the takeout margaritas. Maybe drinking it out of a big glass makes all the difference, who knows. Will continue to eat here for the fresh food, huge portions, and kind staff! Hoping to go have a meal in and experience their amazing happy hour again soon.

We went while they were serving breakfast/brunch/lunch and they have a fun selection of American and Mexican breakfast favorites. Started off with free chips, salsa and beans which is rare these days. The salsa and beans together were delicious. For our main course. we went with the chilaquiles and the chicken taquitos. The chilaquiles came in verde sauce and were huge and nicely crispy with onions and cojita and a big side of beans and eggs. Taquitos seemed freshly made and were also crunchy with a satisfying amount of chicken. We also got a house margarita and a sangria - both were fine but definitely from a mix so a bit too sweet. Would probably spend a bit more and order something different next time. Service was friendly and quick and there was a ton of space in the restaurant.
