3.5 Saw my friend eat a quesadilla from here and stopped by the next day to eat. Ordered an asada quesadilla and my wife ordered some tacos. After ordering, the lady asked which salsas I wanted to which I said verde and took my beeper and waited on one of the seats at a table. When I got home I opened my container and I got one of red salsa and one green salsa which confused me as to why I got asked in the first place The quesadilla was pretty decent but for the price might be a tad too much. My wife didn't enjoy the tacos and said the meat was not really flavorful. My roommate got their yellow habanero and while it was hot it had this interesting sweet flavor, not sure I like it.

We stopped by for tacos and we were so happy we did! I got a chicken, a fish, and a pastor taco; my friend got a chorizo, an asada, and a carnitas. We went around 6 pm on a Wednesday and it was really quick to order and get our food. The chicken was my favorite, then the fish and then the pastor. My friend loved the chorizo and then the carnitas. We both agreed that the habanero salsa and the red salsa were the best but we enjoyed the green as well. We were also surprised by the size, we were expecting little street tacos but these were large and packed with meat!

The nachos are massive! We ordered carnitas and it was an excellent choice. Delicious meat, perfect amount of cheese, and tons of condiments. Pico de gallo, sour cream, jalapeños, and two different salsas on the sides.

Hands down the best Mexican food in the PNW. The street Tacos are to die for - perfect in summer - and the burrito bowl is an explosion of flavor and comfort food - perfect for a cold winter afternoon. We go here at least twice a week. Try it - You won't regret it.

This is not what Carnitas should look like. I was afraid to swallow. It was so hard and wood like, I thought I would cut my esophagus.

An absolute insult to the Hispanic culture. I'm not sure how they remain in business. A complete atrocity!!! I feel so sorry about writing this review, because they can actually mean well. But someone has to tell you. Your meat is an overkill. If I had to guess, I would say you cooked it a week ago. Possibly a large quantity of it. Now you're cutting from it, and reheating it to the point, it's dry and stiff as a cardboard. Almost wood like. Carnitas is not suppose to be hard, dry and crunchy. Just the opposite. It should be moist, juicy and sticky to the touch. Although the meat I got was labeled Carnitas. I'm thinking it was a leaner cut of pork, that was cooked soooo long, there was no juice or moisture left. The beans and rice, omg. No flavor!!! None!!! I did try other items on the menu. Equally disappointed with those selections.

We went there on Saturday while looking for good tacos. This place got my attention nearby on Yelp. The location was in downtown Bothell so it's convenient. The parking was complimentary in the front of a food truck so you didn't need to worry. The staff was friendly and courteous when she took my order. We ordered, taco plates, kids taco plate and quesadillas for Togo. It was quiet and laid back and I could imagine how great it will be in summer. When we tried at home, they were delicious and my favorite was beef quesadillas. They put some mayo aioli sauce on the top with cotija and it was tasty. A nice place for quick bite and we will be back.

Tried the tacos here for the 1st time. Very generous with the meat. The adobada (marinated pork) was tender and slightly sweet. The Carne Asada was also juicy and tender (I prefer more charring on my asada but realize it usually results in a drier and less juicy mouthful). Well packed to go. The red and green salsas were also pretty good.

Tacos are really really good here. Highly recommend trying this place. Many menu options and everything is fresh real ingredients. Give them a try for sure. Delicious

Loved the street tacos. Yelp suggested me this as the best place to get the tacos in Bothell area, and it was spot on. This is a food truck located in Bothell downtown. Not so difficult to find out. Stopped here in the evening for a few tacos. Loved the ingredients and flavors. Requested them to make it spicy - it's made to the perfection. Indeed the best taco place around. Picked up a burrito as well. That was very decent. Service is fantastic. They were super friendly and chatty. Ambiance is very casual. They've got some seating around there which is kind of cool. We enjoyed our tacos there. No designated parking spots - but there's space for a couple of cars to park. Loved the tacos. I will definitely go back for it again. If you haven't tried this place so far, try it out!

If you've never tried Ambakity, then you're truly missing out. What a tasty taco truck hidden in Downtown Bothell. My go-to order is the shrimp tacos. That pineapple slaw is amazing. *chef's kiss* My kids' order the chicken quesadilla. Great customer service and rarely ever a long wait to receive my food. On a sunny day, order your food, crack open a Jarritos, and enjoy it at the outdoor seating area.

Quesabirria was second. Both the Al Pastor and Asada came in third. Not to say any were not to our liking. The Chicken was just so flavorful. The sauces were fantastic as well. The avocado sauce was BOMB. Also great hot sauces. Both hot and flavorful. Most of the time they're either too plain or not hot at all. This place checked all the boxes, and now that we know this place is close by and has the goods we will frequent here I have no doubt! La Gloria is the exception. Reviews glow, but since you have seen my score, it's clear there is room for improvement. Once seated, we were served a Tostada. This was a single small fried tortilla with beans, cabbage and salsa. Probably cost less than $.25 in material, but sells for around $7. Now whenever, I talked to my God Mother, rest in peace, about a new Mexican restaurant, her first question was always the same, "How were the Frijoles?". These beans were creamy, well-seasoned and flavorful. The best refried beans I've tasted in some time. I still say the appetizer is overpriced, but I also see why they serve you one free for dining in. We started with chips and salsa. I still say, they should be free, but at $4, it's a little tough to complaint, but I will. The chips came on a dinner plate. A dinner plate of chips would be about the same size as a restaurant basket of chips, however, there was a large bowl big enough for soup with the smallest amount of salsa in it. So now, 25% of that surface space is gone. This bowl which most likely holds 16 oz has about 3 ounces of salsa, in it and 1/3 of the plate space is empty, So you have enough chips for one person and barely enough salsa for dipping. The salsa was also tart, no heat, no seasoning, we were very disappointed. Last, if you charge me for chips and salsa, it better be bottomless, but once the chips were gone, they removed the plate and bowl without offering to refill either. There were a couple items that looked good to me, but they both had squash. Sorry, I've never heard of squash in Mexican food, unless it's vegan, but maybe it's popular in the region this family is from. Rather than ask if it could be removed, I decided to go with the Carnes Asada. The food took a while to arrive, but they said everything is made from scratch and fresh, so I anticipated a meal worthy of El Presidente himself! Now, clearly this place was not without its flaws, but this was the best Carne Asada I've ever tasted. I was really skeptical, because it was thick cut and when Carna Asada is thick cut certain things tend to happen, it's not cooked evenly, the meat isn't seasoned well enough, so bites end up being bland. No, this was juicy, well-seasoned and cooked evenly, flawless. It also came with a generous scoop of guacamole, that didn't really impress. It was also served with Fried Cheese, no idea what that is, sounds like something served at the fair on stick. I got several tortillas that were hot and fresh and a small cup of whole beans that could have used some crumbled cheese on top. There was also a large portion of rice, but the flavor was a bit fishy. I don't know if they used a seafood broth, but for me it was inedible. There was also a smoky, spicy salsa served, but again, it was a tablespoon. Stop being so cheap with the salsa! This also would have been a far better salsa to go with chips than what was served. Glad I tasted everything, but not sure I would order it again. I didn't eat half of what was served do to taste which means I overpaid. If we do make it back, it would probably be for happy hour. That way we could sample a couple other items in a smaller portion for less. Would I recommend this place, sure, but not without the above cautions included. I like to clean my plate and feel like I got a deal, neither happened here due to some questionable choices in flavor or seasoning. The people could not have been nicer, but I can't say we left completely satisfied.
