Unfortunately, the tackle bowl itself was over fried and dry. for $14.00 it was mostly lettuce and some pulled pork and a dollop of sour cream and guacamole. No beans or rice and just a tablespoon of tomato. It tasted ok but the shell was hardly edible. Decent, not bad food. Service was fine. We were trying to give them another chance after a hiatus .... I had the California burrito and wife had the Garcia burrito. Garcia burrito came with guac and so cream. I asked for no guac, he repeated no guac, wrote down no G, he presented with no guac.... Sadly , it rolled out with guac (and no sour cream.). I discovered Plaza Garcia when they were parked outside Ravenna Brewing. They have a great menu with lots of different options! During the summer I made it a point to visit Ravenna Brewing on Wednesdays so I could eat at the truck! It is easily one of the best taco trucks in Seattle! My favorite dishes: Sopitas (thick corn tortillas) filled with choice of meat, as well as beans, cheese, radish, tomatoes and lettuce. They even come with rice and beans! It's a lot of food for a great price! Taquitos Dorados (thicker rolled tacos, look a lot like flautas). These are good if you're looking for fried, crunchy fare! Went here in a whim while dog sitting in the area. I got a regular burrito with carnitas. Also asked for a grilled jalapeño (which isn't on the menu) and they totally grilled one for me! The "Express" refers to Plaza Garcia's food truck that travels around the Seattle area. I came by as a part of my Eastlake Escapade (see Other section for description of what this is). The food was decent and I would come again during my lunch break. Food There are only 4 types of meat options here: adobada, carne asada, carnitas, and chicken. I was going to get a quesadilla but bounced between what kind of meat. Two people ahead of me ordered the carne asada quesadilla so I decided to give it a try since it seemed to popular. I don't regret it. There was a lot of cheese flavor to the quesadilla and it wasn't dripping in oil. There was a good layer of meat consistently throughout the quesadilla. It also comes with guacamole. I wanted to also try at least one taco since they were so cheap compared to other places that sell tacos around seattle. The adobada meat was great. I actually liked the adobada more than the carne asada. The entire taco shell is covered with meat and there's a pinch of some vegetables on top and on the side. If I were to come back or recommend this spot to my coworkers, I would say just get tacos all the way. Atmosphere You wait outside the Adaptive and Bloodworks building (1551 Eastlake) for your food. There is limited covered space in case you come when it is raining. You cannot go inside the building without a key card. Eastlake is a beautiful area right by the water and docks and feels safe. There are no places to sit around. Pricing Prices were fair for the quesadilla. Tacos at $2.50 though were cheap compared to other places in Seattle that service tacos (like $5 per taco??!?!!). Service Staff was friendly. Its a food truck so its all self serve. I had to ask for sauce and utensils. I came around 12:30pm and there were quite a few people ahead of me. About 8 orders in front of me, and it took about 15 minutes for me to get my food. Other My Eastlake Escapade refers to my food adventures that I go on during my lunch break since I work in the area. One of the common spots I go to is the Adaptive & Bloodworks parking lot at 1551 Eastlake where they host a daily rotating food truck. read more

This place is great for Mexican food. I've been a few times for dinner and the food was always quick, fresh and tasty. My favorite is the taco salad for $11. Fresh tortilla shell and a ton of meat. I usually get the carnitas which are really good. The service is great as well. The gentleman that took my order was very friendly and personable Anna gave me extra salsa without asking. They were also open later than the food truck just a few blocks down the street, so this is my new go-to food truck when I'm in the area. read more

I hate to write this review because the people that worked here were very sweet. The food didn't taste bad, I ate it all. But I immediately got the most violent food poisoning of my life. Definitely top worst pain I've experienced in my life & I know 100% it was from the carne tacos. I'll be going to the doctor soon for them to run test to make sure I don't have E. coli because that's how extreme this feels. Tried the truck for the 1st time. Had the nachos. Order came within about 5 min, that was nice. Not exactly terrible, but not exactly great either. The dish was pretty much cold. The biggest issue is that the toppings all seemed as if just out of a can. No fresh tomato, jalapeño, onion. literally live like a 5 minute drive away and FINALLY tried this place. was so excited that they have carne asada fries (me i fries) but couldn't get them since they had just run out of quest from a rush :( but! instead we got the burrito with carne, three tacos with carne, carnitas, and adobada, and three crunchy tacos with the same meats. adobada and carne was good, but carnitas is where it's at. it was well seasoned and moist and plentiful. all the meats were plentiful. everything tasted delicious and i'll definitely be back to try their mexi fries. fast and friendly service, tasty food, and tacos. what more do i need to say? Mexi fries and the carne asada torts were the bomb!!! Good fresh food from a truck. Will definitely eat there again. It was a one guy show and he was slammed but handled it like a champ.
