4 Fried Taquitos-beef and bowl of menudo
Paul R.

The menudo on weekends is very good, the broth is very flavorful and not too spicy, Beef Taquitos are fresh and flavorful with fresh guacamole. Full salsa bar with about 10 condiments to choose from The service is friendly and food made fresh from order. The place is not fancy, but clean and well maintained. I think all corn tortillas are made there, they taste and look freshly made. Also the Gordita's are super yummy too. The prices are slightly high, but the food is fresh, tasty and comfy-so once in a while treat of authentic Mexican is worth the price.

Really tasty food and fast. Just what we were looking for, for our lunch. So many options to choose from. I got the enchilada verde but with shrimp (there was a 5 up charge for this) and friend got the tacos (3), which was good she did because they were little. So tasty though. We will return to try other options.

Oil drip from tripa taco

Stopped by here late around 10pm on a Saturday. The place is a bit small and a little outdated but service is good, tacos are tasty, and there's a salsa bar available! I got an asada and tripa taco. Asada is flavorful and tripa had best type of crunch. One downside is that there was a lot of oil on the tripa. I wish they drained the oil a bit more.

Fish tacos

This place is our fave go to Mexican restaurant if we aren't in the mood for margaritas. They have the best fish tacos! The staff really s super friendly and the food is fantastic!

Cabeza Tacos

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - we ordered 8 cabeza tacos which were good. The tacos had a slight crisp and the protein was good. The pepper had a great kick! A bit inconsistent in filling as we had some that were stuffed and other tacos that were fairly empty Ambience: 3/5 - worn down furniture but homey feel since everyone is so friendly Service: 5/5 - definitely language barrier but they were friendly Value for price: 5/5 to 1/5 - the food was great in flavor and reasonable in price. Had some confusion since the taco prices were all over the place but it ended up being just over $2 per taco. Unfortunately, both of us got the runs within 2 hours of eating here :((((

Yummy tacos with fatty meat. Prices are fairly normal, but they do have bundles so more tacos is cheaper. The tacos would taste much better if the tortillas were given any other flavor dipping into oil or sauce. As is, they were pretty plain and dry. Carnitas stole the show for me, super flavorful and fatty. Birria and adobada tacos were pretty solid, not crazy amazing but tasty. Meat portions were fair, maybe even better than expected. Asada, on the other hand, made me hesitant with my rating because the pieces were too chewy and impossible to break down. Those Asada Tacos had my jaw sore from trying to bite down and chew. If I never ordered them, my experience would be much better, but they definitely made me question the consistency.

Carnitas Tacos

I would give them 10 stars if I could. I've come here 20+ times in the last year, and I have to say that no other Mexican spot compares. First off, food - you're not gonna get better, more flavorful carnitas tacos (my favorite) anywhere else for a better price (I PROMISE.) their Carnitas are cooked to perfection and are slightly crispy but soft and so delicious especially with their complimentary salsas. I love the light green salsa, especially with a side of chips. I love their Asada burritos too - ugh best asada I've ever had, anywhere. Their rice and beans are just perfect, too! They hit the spot every single time for me. Honestly, as long as I'm in the Seattle area I'll be loyal to them. The interior is classic and modest, with a few TVs playing Hispanic tv shows. The staff are friendly faces now, and I wouldn't want to be supporting any other family owned, genuinely kind service (and really fast!!!) spot. I would recommend Taqueria El Sabor over and over. I love you guys!

Solid reasonably priced Mexican. Has a salsa bar and an extensive menu. Highly recommended as a no frills Mexican spot with seating.

The service is always excellent (shout to Martín, he always takes care of us!), and the ambiance is cozy and fun. Large portions for a fair price, and the margaritas HITTTT. Best frozen margs and queso! If you're looking for upscale, gentrified Mexican food, this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for cozy vibes with authentic food and strong drinks, this is the place :)

Most of the TVs had the brightness set so high black was bright gray on the screens. It was hard to even tell what was going on during the game because the screens were so poorly adjusted. Less good was the terrible food. We had three orders of nachos and each of the three were terrible in different ways. They were very inconsistent except in sogginess. The chips were soaking wet and mushy. There was some meat, but it was so mixed with this rotten tasting white gunk that none of us ate it. My friend that is a chef at the chain of restaurants where work said the green gunk on the nachos was miracle whip with green food coloring mixed in it like we did for St Patrick's one year. It was gross. The beers we had were all flat and tasted like they didn't properly clean the lines, but the margaritas two of our party had were huge. They looked good. The bartender was fun and a huge football fan so that was great, but he didn't seem to speak enough English to understand our orders. I tipped him very well just because he made people happy even if he was terrible at his job.
