Strongly recommend!!! Very friendly and diligent staff! They checked on us all the time and we felt taken care of! The tamale wasn't what I expected to see on the menu, so was a treat to eat! The plates were full and plentiful, so I couldn't finish, but my lunch buddy was hungry, so they ate everything! There's a lot of decor of Mexican heritage! Very beautiful place to enjoy a great meal! Clean restrooms! Big parking lot!

Cute Mexican restaurant. I should have taken a Pic but the chairs were really cute. The service was good. We good refills on our waters, chips and salsa. I ordered carnitas de rez. It was really good!

OK, this is a really hard one for me to give this review. I've gone to this place so many times in the past and it's always been great and amazing first off. Let's start the port parking this place is centrally located like on 143rd and Aurora they have their own parking lot easily to get to off the freeway lots of parking. Customer service is amazing. The ambience is OK but it's always a little too loud in there for me, let's get to the most important part of the food. Their food used to be amazing today we ordered three meals. They were all garbage. The quality was low and the two margarita and daiquiris we had were very watered down. It was definitely a waste of $100 sad to say I would be OK if I never returned and at this rate wasting the money I probably won't. You can have his best customer service as you can, but if the quality of the food wasn't good, I'll pass.

Located right on the edge of town, on the Seattle to shoreline border, is a quaint cozy looking authentic Mexican restaurant that has a genuine homestyle Mexican feel. The people are very nice and they understand English very well so you don't have to speak spanish. I had the macho burrito with everything and it was delicious. My only gripe was that the hamburger they used is prefab, meaning I believe that it comes in packages already ground and seasoned which does not taste as good as freshly ground hamburger with taco seasoning added. That aside they were very generous with the meat and my burrito came out weighing all of about four pounds. It came with just about everything you could ask for, rice, meat, beans, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole (which I really don't like and I opted out). I also was not sure if they're salsa was homemade or not but it was watery. It didn't have enough chunks for my taste but it was still good. For my friend I ordered two crispy tacos at $3.84 each with chicken and they also look delicious, I definitely want to try a few of those next time. They also have shredded beef which I will pay the extra $1.50 for when I get the macho burrito again. I also want to try their chicken enchiladas as these are my favorite kinds of Mexican foods. Of course they have the usual Mexican sodas and the full bar. Average price per person hovers around $14 each and all the cart items are about four to six dollars each depending. I ordered my burrito to go so I had to sacrifice the chips and salsa but that's okay. As always, they come complimentary if you sit down to eat. It's really very cozy inside and it's really enjoyable on a cold day or a rainy day and yes I plan on going back there. The only other Mexican restaurant that I like better was La taqueria in greenwood. A good place for families to dine. I didn't see a kids menu, though.

I have lived nearby for over 22 years and finally ventured over to Las Margaritas at their Seattle location at 145th & Aurora, right at the Seattle-Shoreline border (4/25/24). Throughout the decades driving past, the large parking lot always seem to be full. There are three other locations in Auburn, Marysville, and Issaquah. Welcoming waitstaff, festive interior, plentiful seating, huge menu, and ginormous servings. Plus Happy Hour specials at the bar. Even saw someone nearby order a huge platter of oysters in the shell. Goodness the waitstaff are strong hoisting such huge, hot platters from the kitchen to one's table! The goods: Free chips & salsa Large Coke w/refills ($4) Queso Fundido w/tortillas ($13.95) #28 Enchiladas Suizas w/chicken, refried beans, rice, tomatillo sauce, cheese, and a dollop of sour cream ($18.95) Chicken Culiche w/huge chicken filet covered with poblano mushroom cream sauce, refried beans, rice, and coleslaw ($23.95) Churros w/whipped cream, drizzled w/chocolate and strawberry syrup ($6.50) Lots of food placed in takeout boxes. I'm not kidding about ginormous servings! Any future visits, I'll stick with an appetizer sized quesadilla instead.

I feel like I'm on a never ending quest for good...ok decent Mexican food options in Seattle. I don't know what's going on up here, but I've had so much bad Mexican food that I'm about to give up. I came in here for lunch and ordered a chile relleno/chicken enchilada combo with rice and beans. 2 stars for the meal alone. The best thing on the plate was the rice and beans. The rice was really good and I ate that all up. The chicken enchilada was filled with dry, unseasoned chicken. It tasted like chalk in my mouth so I stopped eating that. Now the most offensive thing on the plate was the chile relleno because its not a chille relleno, but rather an omelet. I took it apart and saw a wet poblano pepper encased in egg. Just egg. The made it look appetizing by burying it in cheese and sauce, but it was still flavorless and horrible. DO NOT ORDER CHILE RELLENO HERE. The service was average and my server was nice, but I won't be back here.

Relleno is more like a thin omelette

I don't usually expect much from Americanized Mexican food...but at least would like some flavor?? I try to order items that are hard to mess up...but sometimes it just doesn't work out. Don't waste your money on using a meal app like I did. $40 for a combo along with chips and salsa. Sadly the chips & salsa were the stars of the show. Food was average at best. Chile Relleno was more like a soggy omelette. Beans were flavorless. Slaw was super salty plus a weird hint of horseradish? $3.50 for a small side of sour cream?! Chicken enchilada was dry. Just not a great meal.

A group (4) of us stopped into Las Margaritas on our return trip home from Seattle. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. During our visit, we opted to sit in the bar. The bar area is small and could use an upgrade or two. Las Margaritas offers a full bar. Complimentary chips and salsa are provided to snack on while perusing the menu. The salsa was mild in heat and watered down in flavor. My dad and I slurped on a couple Dos Equis for $6 each. My daughter had a blended margarita for $10.95. I chose the Combo #4 Burrito (ground beef) plate for $15.95 + $1.50 up-charge for cheese. My daughter ordered the Carne Asada for $27.95: skirt steak butterflied and flame-broiled to order. Served with refried beans, rice, guacamole, and tortillas. My dad ordered the Combo #14 Two Enchiladas (chicken) plate for $15.95. I ordered the Pork Carnitas to-go for my wife for $24.95: Michoacán-style braised baby back pork rib carnitas with whole beans, rice, and Pico de gallo. Service was friendly. Overall, Las Margaritas prices seemed inflated. Portions were large; however, flavor was absent.

Added more pictures. The food was good. Their chili is the best! we ordered both beef, or they call it steak but the price is going up without informed when ordering coz They gave us an old menu. Maybe best to come during lunch time when they have lunch set because food a bit pricey here. And they are always busy and loud music. A bit hard to find parking.

Great little place! Went here for a quick bite on my day off and was not disappointed. Started with the classic chips and salsa. The salsa was mild and flavorful. The server/ host was very kind and after finding out it was my first time there he made a few suggestions. I ended up going with shredded beef enchiladas, rice and beans. The meal was great. It had a mix of beef and some sort of green pepper. I wish it had sour cream or more sauce on the enchiladas. Overall, a solid 4/5 for this location. I would suggest people to check it out if you are looking for some Mexican food in the area.

The food is very good and consistently so... when you can get it. The restaurant is always PAINFULLY short staffed so while the staff is very friendly, they're simply never around. We have had to cancel food orders more than once because sitting there waiting for an hour to order (literally), then waiting another hour and multiple reminders for the bill before you can close out is just untenable. We live right up the street and since the food is so good, we try over and over and over again and it always the same experience: endlessly disappointing. Sitting there for 15 minutes with empty glasses and not a bartender in sight, or waiting 20 minutes in an empty restaurant only to finally order and have the server tell you they just sold out of what you wanted is not the way to run a restaurant. I'm only giving it two stars because the food is so good, but I'm afraid we've been disappointed one too many times. Until they can either hire staff or train their current staff on how to deal with their sections, we're out.

Fast forward to 7/6/25, The Homie and I decided to check out Jersey's on 152nd to wrap up the Fourth of July holiday weekend with their happy hour. There's ample adjacent parking, plus plentiful seating in both the bar and restaurant sections. There were well placed flat screens, which on this visit had the F1 race televised from Las Vegas and the US - Mexico Concacaf match televised from Houston. Lots of signed sports memorabilia posted on the walls. Our waitperson was friendly and attentive and provided us with both the Happy Hour (3-6pm) and extensive regular menus. I'd call this elevated sports bar cuisine. There's even breakfast/brunch items available on weekends. We both had refreshing iced beverages, an iced tea and a Pepsi, which were refilled during out meal onsite ($3.50 each). We ordered from the HH menu: Crispy JoJo Skins ($9), Hog Wings with coleslaw ($13), and Buttermilk Chicken Tenders with fries ($10). I appreciated the nice presentation of each of the HH menu items. The JoJo potato skins were loaded with melted cheese, green onions, and bacon bits plus a nice garlic lime sour cream sauce. The Hog Wings selected were succulent pork shanks tossed in kalbi sauce, garnished with sesame seeds and served with coleslaw. The Buttermilk Chicken Tenders were moist and not over coated and served with on point house fries. Yet again, another Shoreline gem flying under the radar screen. Jersey's Great Food and Spirits has great service and a wide variety of menu items to savor. Next visit will be much sooner and not a ten year hiatus!

The owner and manager always made sure to greet my mother and I whenever we came in and recognized us as regulars. They would even send us a free dessert, usually baklava, at the end of our meal, which is so sweet. The delicious food and staff is what keeps this in regular rotation for me. My order stays the same pretty much every time I come in. Butter lamb masala, madras masala with prawns, dal soup, and a garlic naan. Butter lamb: rich in flavor and I love how creamy the tomato flavor is. We used to get chicken but when we started coming with my aunt we switched to lamb because she doesn't eat chicken, and I really love how nice the lamb is in this dish. It's not too gamey either which can sometimes steer people away from eating lamb. Madras masala with prawns: I love getting this dish with the butter masala because the flavor of madras is more of an acidic tomato curry rather than a rich creamy curry. I think the shrimp also is a better option in this since it's a tomato vinegar base and not creamy. The shrimp pairs really well in this dish and prawns are always cooked very nicely, not tough and the shrimp are a good size. Dal soup: super flavorful not too thin of a soup which is nice. The lentils are cooked very well not too tough or mushy Garlic naan: it's bread and garlic, what more can I say! It's great to eat with any of the curries here but I love eating it with my dal soup.

the first thing I appreciated here was the customization…read more to start, the menu had many different curries - way more than what you would find at a typical indian restaurant there were 17 main indian curries, and that's not even counting the Tandoori or Vegetarian curries, or even the Mediterranean food The part that was really nice, however, was the customization Each of these 17 curries could have 3 vegetarian options - Vegetables, Tofu, or Paneer, and also another 4-5 different meat options as well I've never really seen this at an Indian restaurant - usually the main 'base' of the curry is already given and you just have to pick the type of curry based on what's provided Since our entire group was vegetarian, it was incredibly nice to have the option to pick any of these curries - so we weren't limited by a bunch of curries that already came with meat. In addition, different people in our group could add different 'bases' based on what they preferred - for example I asked for Paneer with my Rogan Josh, while others in my group asked for vegetables with their curry/biryani As far as the food itself, I thought this was also fantastic Starting with the Rogan Josh with Paneer, it's rare that the gravy is as flavorful as I saw here Normally, the Paneer will be the main focus of the curry - and here I found the paneer to be very good; it was firm and quite satisfying to bite into as it didn't get soggy from the curry like you might see in other places. It had a fullness to it However, I found the flavors of the remaining gravy to also be incredible. There was a rich, deepness to its flavor not found in other Indian restaurants where the gravy is more liquidy and just there to support the Paneer When it came to the Jalfrezi, I really liked the vegetables in here. While I didn't find the gravy to be as flavorful as the Rogan Josh, the vegetables in this were cooked really well and satisfying to eat. I did prefer the Rogan Josh over this, though It's interesting that this and the other curry were both ordered at a 'Hot' spice level - but I found this to be spicier than the other one The naan was also excellent. Several members of our group commented on how soft it was - and having my share of Indian restaurants where the naan is super hard - I found this softness to be excellent. This may have been the best texture of any naan I've had at a restaurant. The softness made it super easy to break apart and envelop the curry with I also quite liked that the curries weren't overflowing with oil - there certainly was some - but it was a reasonable amount The one downside is this place is somewhat expensive. For a curry + naan it'll end up being at least 30 dollars, and one serving of naan might not be enough. I've seen places which give you a lot more curry for a lower price, but I will say this definitely made up for it in quality Also, I thought the naan could've had more garlic on it - it didn't quite really have much flavor We also got a free gulab jamun (x4) at the end of our meal - which was surprising but excellent
