The service was excellent!! For starters the lovely sisters at the counter were so incredibly nice and attentive to our needs and I've never been to an establishment with such good service!!!! I will say the food was good but for me it was just a little bit to greasy, but overall was an incredible meal and experience. seeing the Macho Burgers truck out in the wild got me curious to try one. Luckily on my latest taproom outing I got the chance. There are about 7 burgers to choose from as well as a chicken, cod fish and veggie burger so that is really cool that they offer so many options out of their truck. I put in order for the "12" Burger - no doubt named for all the Seahawks fans out there. 12 doesn't equal the amount of ingredients but it sure seems like. The "12" packs a fried egg, bacon, red peppers, caramelized onions, jalapeño cream cheese and special sauce. Let's start with what was good here - the concept of this burger is great I tasted everything in it. The Jalapeño cream cheese was the best. Doesn't even need ketchup or additional condiments. Where it falls apart (literally) is its build, every bite the contents were sliding all over the place and falling out. It's gotta be the right amount and cooked down so that doesn't happen. This is mostly because of the onions. This is because the onions we're big ol' sliced pieces of onion does not strip or diced up enough nor are they grilled/caramelized enough. They took away from the burger. Even if I bit into one it wasn't done like the rest of the ingredients and wouldn't break off. I ended up discarding them completely. The burger otherwise was good and would try Macho again, maybe "12" will be more perfected. read more

Once again Carlos of Macho Burgers delivers a culinary experience worthy of a street of dreams. Macho Burgers catered our annual bbq for Grousemont Estates. It was outstanding. Carlos was adaptable as the number of attendees kept increasing day before. There wasn't much wait at the peak of demand, and several people commented to me how really good their burger was. I sampled a fish and chips day after. It reheated really well and tasted great! I will be conflicted next time, burger or fish... :-/ Carlos has done a great job creating a thin batter. Their dipping sauces are equally impressive. I suggest branching out on sauces, they are all really tasty. This was the second time he has cooked for our hood and won't be the last. Picked up a mushroom swiss burger and blue cheese bacon burger for dinner, along with some fries. The blue cheese bacon was delicious - great flavor on the meat, I mean bacon, blue cheese and perfectly caramelized onions-SO good! However the mushroom swiss was wayyy too salty, so we couldn't finish it - which was super disappointing. Thinking there may have been an oops moment when pouring the salt. And the fries, meh. Sure, take out fries don't hold up well so we always crisp them for a couple of minutes in the oven. I just think if you're going to make a good burger with quality meat, house cut fries are so much better to offer as a side than what appeared to be frozen ones. Still, I might have given Macho 4 stars because my order was ready when I arrived and still hot when I drove home - so I would have rounded up a 3-1/2 star review . However the staff was unmasked and since there is a sign asking patrons to be masked, seems like the staff should be as well... read more

Shared a 12th man burger & tots with the garlic cilantro aioli on the side. Dear lordt, I wish I could bathe in that sauce. Anywho, great burger! Honestly, the meat itself isn't the biggest star - the careful balance of the ingredients each amazing in their own right combine to become a fantastic meal. Also, the tater tots were perfectly crisp and crunchy on the outside while being soft on the inside Lastly (or firstly?), the garlic cilantro aioli is heavenly and if I miraculously weren't in the mood for the burger, I would definitely buy the sauce on its own. Food coming from the truck was slow, out of order and no one was helpful in offering refunds or an accurate sense of timing. Kept taking orders, instead of taking a pause to catch up. I've gotten burgers from here twice now as they're a regular truck at Chuck's hop shop in central district. Every burger has been huge! And delicious! Also, they have tater tots that I just love. The Hop and Hound on Main St, Bothell features a food truck every Friday and this week it was Macho Burger. I'll start by saying that the Macho-Macho Burger was probably the best burger I've ever eaten! They use high quality ingredients, and it's an enormous burger (see photo). Pickled onions, Tilamook white cheddar, high quality beef and it was all cooked to perfection (medium, as I ordered, crisp bacon, but not horribly crisp, etc)... fantastic. But there are a few (minor) improvements that could be made. For one, the pricing is that of a sit-down burger joint; I'm mostly talking about the sides and add-ons - the burgers are too good to be sold for less. Another less-than-ideal bit is if you make an order to-go, you get the burger wrapped in a thin paper wrapping and in a plastic bag; this makes it very messy in the plastic bag, on the paper and when you try to eat it (it's quite a juicy burger). I recommened putting it in a paper tub with a plastic bag, with napkins (yes, there were no napkins offered or included). [TL;DR] Eat here you won't regret it. read more

During virus "closure," this truck visited our neighborhoods community club. We kept them busy for 4 hours. VERY tasty burgers, way too large. Quality and portion deserve a 5, but impracticality of large portions caused me to rate a 4. Shouldn't complain as this is their trademark, but eating half a burger [which is plenty] leaves rest to waste as these won't keep well. Meat was best I've had on a burger; dominated taste over the cheese and bacon. For me needs to be an infrequent indulgence. A treat, just can't experience too often and maintain heart. read more

I like them with lots of stuff on them...lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sauces--what-have-you, but I like to taste the beef--especially when I'm eating good-quality meat like they use here, so I don't like cheese and bacon on my burgers. That wasn't an option here, but they were perfectly happy to customize. One tiny complaint, they didn't give me a break on the price, I paid for a full macho with cheese and bacon. Not a super big deal since it was a humongous burger that I could only eat half of for six fiddy. So the meat was perfectly cooked an seasoned on a really great bun. Buns are important.
