The drive thru seems to take forever, so I prefer ordering in the app. Whenever I have an online…read morepickup order, I feel like I have to announce I'm there and pester the workers to see if my order is ready yet. Otherwise, they just ignore you - even when there's a staff of over 5 people "working". I thought they would call out the completed orders/names, but they usually don't, so I've ended up with a melting ice cream cup before which I had to send back. It would be easier if they had a designated worker and area to check in for pick ups. The dining area is a decent size at this location. I'm glad they have different receptacles for recycling, compost, and trash, since a lot of fast food places only have one bin to throw away everything.

I've been annoyed how difficult it is to access Chick-fil-A's in Seattle, so I was happy to be there. Despite the random location, this shop was really nice. The interior is clean and maintained very well. I was surprised that they put real flowers in a little vase for all the dining tables - a nice touch! Staff were friendly and attentive too. It was also first time for me to see a Chick-fil-A hosting bingo nights. I'm curious what kind of crowd they get here. Since I was there in the morning, I could only choose from the breakfast menu (lunch menu becomes available at 10:30 am), but it did not disappoint! I had the biscuit sandwich and it went very well with the Chick-fil-A sauce. And it was under $6. The only thing that I found off-putting was that the building is fenced almost all the way that I have to walk a long way to enter. It makes sense because the shop is located in a very car-centric area, and it was not pedestrian friendly at all. I guess one other good thing is that even though you have to walk extra around the block, the bus stop is right next to the store. I wish they leave the part of the fence facing the bus stop open so that you can go right from the bus stop to the shop.

They were running a promo on breakfast specials, as I only paid $5.00 for my sausage McMuffin meal, which is a steal in today's dollars. No complaints about the meal - it was hot and freshly made. It was nice to eat onsite versus taking it on the go.

GOD FORBID you visit your neighborhood McDonalds, pull up to the drive thru window, order $50 worth…read moreof food for your family, ask for it to be fresh and because of your request you're asked to wait in one of the numbered parking stalls, wait about 30 EXTRA minutes JUST to get home and discover that they had you wait an extended amount of time to give off the ILLUSION of your order being made fresh! The fries were powdery and stale, the burger bread had an almost plasticky consistency and the nuggets were tough as rubber! I WISH this was a lie, but it's not!And to top it all off, you go back because you're absolutely PISSED! You bring back ONLY the items YOU were going to eat (as your family members had already dug in due to near starvation) and the manager argues you down at the window claiming that everything was made the way you asked! *SIGH*. Backstory- Prior to my McDonalds visit I sat in the emergency room with my daughter for 4 hours who hadn't eaten a thing in almost a week due to having (what we found out to be) PNEUMONIA and after meds (and almost instantaneously feeling better) she said she would eat chicken nuggets. By this time it was almost 1am and nothing else was open BUT McDonalds. And so here I am trying to feed my child and the other members of my family waiting for me at home and I bring them cold almost uneatable FOOD! It's heartbreaking. Needless to say this night was SUPER exhausting! I even tried to reason with the manager (I forget her name, but she was a Hispanic woman) explaining that I'm not trying to get my money back, ALL I wanted was a fresh meal! I think it's important for service workers (especially those in fast food) to understand that the outside world totally understands that most of them are there to make a living for THEIR families and that most people who come through their drive thru or visit their lobbies are most times in the same predicament. It would be nice if SOMETIMES your staff could consider the demographic of people they're serving and treat them how they would like to be treated. And I hate to make this seem like it was the biggest deal, but sometimes it just IS!

Now I'll grab a Dicks Deluxe anytime of day, yet nothing tops off a night of boozing & chasing women like the taste of Dicks Drive Inn at 1:30 in the morning. THE DELUXE my favorite burger is a combination of 2 meat patties, lettuce cheese & sauce slapped onto a bun. The fresh cut fires made on the premises and served with either a Coke or handmade strawberry milkshake to cap off a prefect night. Well, only one thing better is when you've manage pull in special friend with you ( wink wink ) to share it with. Not much has changed over the years. Dick's has manage to keep a very basic menu with 4 choices. The Hamburger , Cheeseburger, Special & Deluxe are your Burger choices along with french fries that are hand cut from fresh potato's on the premises for quality. Ice cream scoops & milkshakes for those desiring something sweet or if your maintaining a vegan diet yet just wanna participate in the institution. Parking is on the premise so you won't have any worries about parking. Meals are served fast and hot. And on occasion you may wait in line but that's because others want what you want. Remember DICKS is so iconic the Sir Mix A Lot & Macklemore has shoot MTV videos here. Damn now I'm hungry so I'm off for the big tasty.

My wife went with two cheese burgers and an order of fries, got two deluxe burgers and two fries. One of the things about Dicks Drive In is the walk up to order brings back memories of when I was a kid. Now if you want to sit down and eat you get in your car and enjoy your meal. The place has a nice sized parking lot and the staff is fast and friendly. The burgers arrived in the Iconic Dic's paper bag one look inside and I was happy the food is consistent the burgers are served one way but you can add onions for extra and Don't forget to get some of the yellow tartar sauce for your fries! Dick's is a puget sound icon for burgers and in my humble opinion it holds it own with the national chains.
