Fam house makes great food! We ordered delivery, and the food arrived crisp and warm. I thought the cheeseburger was delicious with fresh ingredients. The onion rings and curly fries were tasty, as was the steak fries. Our primary complaint was that, for the cost, the amount of food is really small. On the menu, the onion rings are listed as $10 for 8 pieces, which is really wild pricing. (Anyway we received only 7!) The curly fries ($10) and the steak fries ($8) were similarly scanty, arriving stuffed alongside a container of sauce into a small Chinese takeout-style box. This is not the only local spot that has cranked up the price of their fried sides. But they present dramatically smaller portions for such high prices. Because we liked the food, we might try them again, but the value will keep us from doing so too often. read more

Ate with the family of my best friend from bootcamp and they got this as their takeout because it was near the Airbnb that they were staying at for graduation season. Pretty yummy bulgogi burrito! I just wish that it had more vegetables, which is something that I never thought that I would say. Good touch with the jalapeños being off to the side because it may be too spicy for some people. Spicy mayo sauce to the side was also a good call. Another Hidden Gem along Aurora Highway 99! Originally in Edmonds 13 or 15 years ago, they moved to this micro strip mall. We had the Bulgogi Bowl and Chicken Katsu Bowl and a Injeolmi Milkshake. This place is a hidden gem. I've been here twice now. The first time I got the spicy pork burrito and it was top tier. This time I tried the bulgogi burrito and it was delicious as well. The milkshakes are great and the employees are very friendly and good people. Great place to get Korean style burritos. I got the spicy pork and it was delicious. A good kick of spiciness and great portion sizes. I can only finish half of my burrito. I would say it's pretty comparable to chops in Lynnwood. Very friendly service and I would come back. read more

I came here for lunch based on reviews. What a disappointment $28 for mediocre fries, onion rings and chicken. I don't get what's the deal with food here in Seattle?! At least the chocolate milkshake was good -- better than average otherwise one star review. I guess I have high expectations for good tasting food. If Chick-fil-a wasn't owned or contribute to the MAGA cult I would have gone there. I do my best to support local business but this is a hard no and not again. As soon as I saw the IG notification, within minutes I was in my car on a mission for Fam House's grand opening in North Seattle (9/13/24). Great replacement for the defunct former teriyaki spot. This indie, family run Korean inspired, Asian fusion restaurant is located next door to Indo Cafe. The parking lot is also shared with other businesses, so it can be pretty tight. It's located along Aurora/Hwy99, so accessible via Metro Rapid Ride E. Very welcoming upon entering. Nice clean interior with ample onsite seating. The menu has K-burritos, K-fusion bowls, K-burgers, fries, fish & chips, and shakes. Literally something for everyone. I opted for takeout after perusing the overhead counter menu: Chicken Katsu Burrito ($12.99) and Bulgogi Fries ($9.99). I also tried the Injeolmi milkshake (reg $5.99), many thanks! The packaging was secure and made with recyclable and compostable materials. I appreciated the vent holes to keep the fries crisp. Kindly bagged with chopsticks and napkins provided. Stumbled upon this gem of a place. Delicious Korean fusion wraps and burgers for an incredibly reasonable price? Yes please! I got the Kalbi burger for $10.99! It was hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. Everything was put together so perfectly. Grilled onions, lettuce tomato, meat cooked to perfection. Even had grilled pineapple for a special twist. I've honestly never had a hamburger patty seasoned that well. Hubby got grilled pork wrap which he loved. Onion rings and their Injeolmi shake were also the perfect addition. I loved that the shake wasn't too sweet and had a nutty earthy flavor so different from usual shake options. Got recommended this from Yelp and thought we should give it a try. They had good flavors in the meat. We tried the bulgolgi burrito and spicy chicken burger. The burritos are very carb heavy and filling. Chicken burger had good balance. The shake was the star though, not too sweet, very creamy and good flavor. Space is small and quiet with music playing but clean and welcoming, there is also a restroom, 10/10. I had a craving for a burger and well my bf didn't... we landed on the perfect spot to satisfy both our cravings. I got their bacon cheese burger meal and he got the bulgogi burrito. Got the bulgogi burrito and galbi burger. Both were amazing. I love the fusion flavors. Be sure to dip or spread the special sauce on the burrito, squeeze the line and add the jalapeños for the full Mexican fusion effect. We also tried the steak fries, curly fries, and onion rings and they were all tasty fresh and hot. I honestly don't know which one I'd choose if I had to pick one since they were all so good. But if I had to pick it would be the onion rings because that's just my preference. The fusion Korean Mexican would be what I'd recommend as well as its unique, delicious and a very large portion! My friend and I decided to meet at Fam House since it's about halfway for both of us. We ordered the spicy pork burrito, the galbi burger, and the injeolmi shake, and all three were fantastic. The crispy chicken is okay, nothing that special about it. The rice was a little less flavorful than expected. The set also came with pickled vegetables, a salad, and some soup. Was served in reasonable time. The combo plate was $21. For Seattle area it's not expensive, but food in the area is just expensive in general. Maybe Hainanese chicken rice isn't my favorite thing, but it was just okay for me.
