    Interior (9/13/24)

As soon as I saw the IG notification, within minutes I was in my car on a mission for Fam House's grand opening in North Seattle (9/13/24). Great replacement for the defunct former teriyaki spot. This indie, family run Korean inspired, Asian fusion restaurant is located next door to Indo Cafe. The parking lot is also shared with other businesses, so it can be pretty tight. It's located along Aurora/Hwy99, so accessible via Metro Rapid Ride E. Very welcoming upon entering. Nice clean interior with ample onsite seating. The menu has K-burritos, K-fusion bowls, K-burgers, fries, fish & chips, and shakes. Literally something for everyone. I opted for takeout after perusing the overhead counter menu: Chicken Katsu Burrito ($12.99) and Bulgogi Fries ($9.99). I also tried the Injeolmi milkshake (reg $5.99), many thanks! The packaging was secure and made with recyclable and compostable materials. I appreciated the vent holes to keep the fries crisp. Kindly bagged with chopsticks and napkins provided. The items are freshly prepared, flavorful, and generous sized. Easily shareable. I've been always resisted or dubious about Asian fusion cuisine. But I love Fam House's creative and delicious spin on familiar favorites. Another dining option in North Seattle and worthy detour for onsite dining or takeout!

The food slappppss! I ordered off DoorDash and I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation and flavor. I ordered the crispy katsu burrito and the sauce it comes with is phenomenal! I cannot wait to try the bulgogi next. 100/100

Very clean inside the restaurant and friendly staff. Spicy pork burrito had good portion and nice kick to it

Fire. Parking lot is tough but be tough and find a spot. Walk in, self order and pay through a tablet, easy money. Super friendly people. Space is small and quiet with music playing but clean and welcoming, there is also a restroom, 10/10. Bulgogi burrito fire, good meat portion and the burrito just fire and with the lime and spicy mayo?????? FIRE. The double chocolate milkshake, fire. Filled me to where Im not sweating and can move around but dont need to eat anymore. THE PRICES????? Fire. 15.99 for that burrito and 5.99 for the milkshake???? Where are you beating those prices. Try this place out.

Stumbled upon this gem of a place. Delicious Korean fusion wraps and burgers for an incredibly reasonable price? Yes please! I got the Kalbi burger for $10.99! It was hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. Everything was put together so perfectly. Grilled onions, lettuce tomato, meat cooked to perfection. Even had grilled pineapple for a special twist. I've honestly never had a hamburger patty seasoned that well. Hubby got grilled pork wrap which he loved. Onion rings and their Injeolmi shake were also the perfect addition. I loved that the shake wasn't too sweet and had a nutty earthy flavor so different from usual shake options. Restaurant is a bit hard to see from the street. Overall, hefty portions, amazing prices, beautiful decor, friendly service-- we will definitely be back!

Got recommended this from Yelp and thought we should give it a try. They had good flavors in the meat. We tried the bulgolgi burrito and spicy chicken burger. The burritos are very carb heavy and filling. Chicken burger had good balance. The shake was the star though, not too sweet, very creamy and good flavor. Service was very nice, super quick to get us our food. Roughest part is parking though. The lot was a little hard to get in and out of.

K-BBQ Bulgogi Bowl. Yummy, I couldn't finish it all.

Food was good, hefty amount per plate. Their #1 milkshake was so good, too. We ate there, most of their business is take out. The clerk was nice and they didn't put us after the to go's (including Uber eats, etc)

Best milk shake ever! Injeolmi flavor is da best!

Awesome place in Shoreline! Chicken katsu bowl was so crispy and flavorful. Bulgogi fries and Injeolmi Shake are MUST!

If you are in the mood for a fusion Korean restaurant, I highly recommend coming for their bulgogi burger and even the spicy pork bowl. Also the shake was super good and not overly sweet. Highly recommend

There is this weird little strip along side the street that is two rows of parallel parking and then there is this tiny garage with a limited number of retail parking spots. May the odd ever be in your favor. Atmosphere: Very open dining area, the food seems much more upscale than the place itself, though the interior is still very modern and very cleanly. The floor is interesting: it seems to be comprised of large sand granules so it appears very porous. Lots of windows so the area is filled with natural light during the day. Service: EXCELLENT attention to detail. Before we stepped foot in the building, the table was already being set up for us, high chair, kid's dining sets and all because we were seen walking towards the entrance through the windows. We also observed another table's high chair from a previous party being meticulously wiped down and inspected by a server--this NEVER happens at restaurants to this level of detail. I was very impressed. I also appreciated the fact that the utensils included in the napkin consisted of: spoon, knife, fork AND chopsticks. It's rare to have a place offer you the full selection of utensils let alone a fork and chopsticks together--usually it's one or the other! Service: wait to be seated, you will be watered, scan the QR code at your table for the menu, order at the table, check brought to you. Kid Friendliness: plastic cups (open cups, no lids or straw) and bowls; disposable plastic utensils. Clean high chairs. Menu: item names, descriptions and some photos via digital menu with QR code scanned at your table. In case anyone is wondering, the coke served here is Mexican coke (the best kind). But it's strange no soft drinks are listed on their menu at all. Pumpkin Crisp: this is so addicting. It's like upscale bougie sweet potato fries. There is a gentle crisp of the salted egg that compliments the soft fluff of the pumpkin. I highly recommend it. Chicken Xiao Long Bao: They were sadly out of the pork when we went. Not as soupy as I was expecting it to be but each one is PACKED with meat, leaving little room for soup. It's not a baggy sack of meat, it's a meaty bag! Corn Rib: corn on the cob that has been cut into quarters lengthwise and covered with cheese (we requested non-spicy so we had a cheese option). A novel way to have corn cut and eaten this way for us. It was tasty nonetheless and not overly salty. Stir Fried Green Beans: your typical garlic salted plant noodles, haha. Not overly salty and is a great compliment to protein dishes. Cooked just right and not overly dry or chewy -- just the right amount of snappiness to each bite. Gold Medal Stir-fried Beef: Wow this is so good. The beef is thinly cut and tender. It is a little on the salty side so best paired with rice or a neutral dish. I love the crunch the celery and onions give -- I ended up packing every last piece as leftovers so I can mix it with rice later.

Great place when you're craving Hainanese Chicken…read more I had the combo chicken rice, which comes with your lighter Hainanese chicken and fried chicken. The Hainanese chicken was so tender and almost pure. It had depth and complemented the chicken fat infused rice. It's a nice balance and you can dip sauce into it if you like more intense flavors. I also liked the fried chicken because it had more texture to a tender dish and I found it nice to go back and forth. We also tried the noodles and it was decent and had a slow burn (spicy) to it but i like the rice dishes the best. The combo chicken was more than enough food for me - I left very full. Ambiance is casual. We arrived on Friday around 6:45pm, and joined a waitlist of 9 for 2 ppl. We waited about 25 minutes for a table. You sit down, order via QR code, and food comes out! Service was decent - nice and friendly and attentive - it's not a place where they'll wait on you regularly but it's also not that kind of setting. The chicken was steamed beautifully, and the pieces tasted very fresh. The dish came with two kinds of sauces, and both are perfectly delicious. The rice was cooked with chicken fat and juices. Also, I noticed their floor were extremely greasy and slippery. They put down black rugs in main walkways , but on the way to the restroom was without and I almost slip and fell. They really need a deep clean to their floor, or someone might fall for real.

Portions for the dishes overall are pretty small, so the restaurant is pretty pricey overall. For dessert we ordered the basque hojicha cheesecake and really liked it!
