Continues to be the best teriyaki in town! Our order is simple: - Spicy Chicken Teriyaki with Fried Rice - General Tso's Chicken with Fried Rice - Side of Gyoza Portions are big, and the order is always fresh and extra hot. My man can eat the entire portion, but for me, it ends up being two meals, which is awesome. I would love it more only if there was more spicy chicken teriyaki sauce on the fried rice :) read more

I live very very close to this place and always said that I'd stop by someday and just never did. Today I finally gave it a visit. The store is tucked away and ver unassuming from the outside. I walked in to a very small store with minimal decorations but was immediately greeted by the person at the counter. The menu is wide and various just like I was hoping for from a teriyaki place. My favorite thing other than order from teriyaki places are their bento boxes. I went with the larger one which comes with teriyaki chicken, rice, sushi, tempura shrimp, gyoza and salad (I was very hungry lol). Everything was done so fast. The ordering was done quickly, the food came quickly. Everything tasted the way I wanted it to. Very savory flavors all the way around and great portions! The people are so friendly and they have great service, both efficient and accommodating. The food is a nice variety of Teriyaki, Chinese dishes, some bento, and sushi. They have some seating for eating there or takeout. We got chicken yakisoba and spicy chicken. The portions are great. The spicy chicken had a little kick to it but not overdone. Just paid $25 for a teriyaki chicken to go. When it took under 2 minutes to receive the order I knew I messed up. Chicken was lukewarm and had a funny aftertaste. Overall, a solid option for teriyaki. They have tofu for vegetarians and lots of meat to choose from. My partner got the spicy chicken (extra spicy) and it lived up to the heat! My tofu stir fry was good, but not a ton of veggies other than lettuce. Service was friendly and prompt. read more

This place has great food and bento boxes! The price seems just right. I had the udon tempura and it came with three pieces of shrimp tempura! That's is a good amount. The udon has veggies and it made it so delicious-if you are into that. I also had the spicy tuna roll and it was seriously so flavorful and delicious. My friends and husband agreed with it be very tasty! I would definitely order the spicy tuna roll again. The food was made fairly fast for the amount that we ordered. read more

I've had Nori Presto a couple times in the past 2 months, and I love how I can come in, order a $10 regular sized chicken teriyaki which I can barely finish AND get it in 3 minutes during busy hours. But for everything else yeah I agree its pricy for what you get. I'll Come for those when I feel like splurging or treating myself but not able to go to nicer places further away. Unassuming little joint in Olympic hills, but an absolutely solid staple for me. I always go for the beef/chicken combo. Meat is always nice and tender with the perfect amount of char. The sauce is fantastic - I'm so glad they always give you an extra sauce container because I always waterboard my plate with it. Mix it all together with that beautiful rice, and I leave that plate empty. If you wanna switch it up, they have some basic and decent rolls as well. And the bento boxes are great for lovers of variety like me. Honestly, just made myself hungry writing this. Gonna grab some Nori Presto now. read more

Only got the sushi, would go somewhere else pending your caliber. If you like Safeway/QFC sushi this is probably a good bet for you, more expensive, but same level. read more

Negatives: Seems high priced for a teriyaki joint. Would not recommend the Mongolian beef. VERY high priced and scarily ANY meat, just a few shavings of very thinly sliced beef. The food was very mediocre (sushi rolls) When I picked up the food (takeout order) and paid for the food on their machine, an option popped up to tip. I usually give a buck or two when I pickup my food, but I then noticed there was no custom option to include a tip. The lowest option started at 15%, which would have come to $8. For takeout, in my opinion, that's excessive. While this was going on I saw the lady, out of the corner of my eye, move to one side so she could see what I inputted for tip. After I selected no tip, (because there as no custom tip option) she loudly sighed and started speaking Korean very loudly (I assumed to workers in the kitchen). Love this local teriyaki place. They always get my order right (half normal half spicy chicken teriyaki) and are always quick and kind. Pre-covid they also had delicious miso soup if you were waiting in the store for your take out order. They leave fresh scallions to the side which is a nice touch. I think the no refill policy on the soda is a little silly. Seat yourself--food will be brought to you. We were a little put off by the customer service. We stood at the register for a few minutes and the staff member was there directly in front of us but avoided eye contact and didn't even greet us. Until she finished bagging some stuff. I feel like a simple "hello we'll be with you in a moment" would have been more professional. Complimentary self serve Miso soup and hot tea. Miso Soup: typical "fast food" joint Miso. Doesn't really hit the spot but is sufficient enough for someone who is hungry and doesn't care much for taste. The tofu used is firm and not as soft as high end places (since it sits in the pot on high heat all day). You can add green onions yourself if you wish. Fish Cake Udon: contains slices of carrots, green onion and kamaboko. Udon noodles are a bit chewy. Soup has a nice flavor--nori seasoning and a slight spice kick but nothing too unbearable. Kung Pao Chicken: CONTAINS PEANUTS. Comes with side Salad and rice. The zucchini slices were a nice touch. Heed that spicy label because it has a kick! The salad is iceburg with carrots and purple cabbage--dressing is on the sweet side (honey mustard without the mustard?). read more

I've been to Nori infrequently over the years but when I've felt like teriyaki in Seattle I usually think of Nori Presto Bento and the gentleman and lady that are usually up front. The chicken is usually hot and freshly prepared and the rest of the bento a treat to eat. I put a phone order in for a large bento. A younger woman I've never seen there before greeted me with my order, she was polite but charged me for utilsils? Also did NOT include chopsticks, didn't realize until I opened the package, which has never happened before! The chicken was COLD! and the rice was NOT right! The salad was NOT a salad, it was A SOUP! The dressing in it was 2 ounces at least! I was like what the hell??? Are they reusing leftover food? I ended up throwing out the bento. I've visited here before several times but now theres a complete lack of care or quality to the meal. $20+ dollars wasted! Time to order and drive there and back wasted! Only to have a meal that looked like elements were reused from leftovers that was intended to be thrown out! I dont know who the young woman in the front was or if ownership changed but STAY AWAY from Nori Presto Bento, I know I will going forward! What a disappointment after a number of years!!! read more

Portion sizes had gotten noticeably smaller :( I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki with katsu combo - total was $17. I wouldn't have mind paying that much if they didn't skimp on the protein. I barely had any spicy chicken or katsu. The spicy chicken was good but the katsu tasted weird. It was dry and I think fried in really old oil? There was this weird after taste. The salad was drenched in dressing and not on the side. I've been here in the past and LOVED their food but tonight just did not hit the spot. My quest for a good teriyaki spot continues (my favorite was Teriyaki Times by the Aloha Ramen but the fire put them out of business). read more

Ordered a combo 12: curry & chicken katsu. When my order arrived, I immediately noticed the kastu came with plastic fiber in its coating. Judging from it's green color, I supposed it came from scrub sponge. I then asked the restaurant manager to replace my dish. Later, the manager came back with another curry & chicken katsu and told me that that plastic fiber must come from outside since it's windy day. In my mind, I was like WTF are you fking kidding me? Am I a 3 years old kid to you? The plastic fiber was "in" the coating and it was pretty long that I had to pull it all the way out. But then, after I ate some of the chicken katsu. I noticed it was the SAME chicken katsu I returned. They just simply removed the plastic fiber I showed them and re-fried the chicken katsu. Because, I found the same green plastic fiber again. I confronted the manager. The restaurant did not feel sorry at all but started making excuse and shirking. The owner threw away the chicken katsu and then pick some other chicken katsu from nowhere pretending the chicken katsu was perfectly fine. The owner teared the chick apart in front of me using his finger and demonstrated the hairy thing must be the chicken texture. Again, in my mind, I was like WTF, it's not my first time eating chicken katsu. So, I showed him the picture that I took. He then agreed to return my money, but he STILL NOT admitted their wrong doing and NOT sorry about it at all. He was like okay okay fine and brushing me off as the hairy thing came from outside. This has become one of our go to spots for teriyaki. We usually call it in and pick up the food to go. Yes, it may be a few bucks more expensive than some other teriyaki places, but the food is made fresh in a timely manner and you won't find stingy portions here! The teriyaki is done well. Not overly sweet and has not been dry. If you want to cut back on the carbs, you can ask them to substitute the rice for stir fried veggies. It's an additional $3, but I don't think that's too bad! read more

Surprises are like Pokeman Go always popping up when you least expect it. So I consider myself a lover & contisour of teriyaki cuisine, but wow this place exceeds all culinary expectations about teriyaki food. So my buddy had been boasting about how fabulous this place was for months. Frank decided to take up his invitation for lunch today. I preview the menu and decide on the combo meal of Teriyaki Chicken & Short Ribs. My plate shows up and it's literally a heaping plate of meat, two rice scoops & salad. I gaze at this monument of flesh and dig straight into the short ribs. OMG my mouths explodes with flavor from the short ribs. Arguably the best short ribs I've ever had the pleasure of devouring. Very tender and thick pieces short rib meat grilled to perfection and served along side a generous serving of chicken cooked perfectly and not over sauced. The menu had many options from beef, vegan & sushi for you to choose from and enjoy. I'd highly recommend you locating this place for a meal. This is defiantly a 5 star Frank Booth meal. read more
