If you're looking for some solid teriyaki, unfortunately, it's not time for Teriyaki Time. Bad jokes aside, this place, despite good service, wasn't very good. I ordered the regular chicken teriyaki and the spicy teriyaki. Both orders came out quickly, but they both were overcooked and pretty dry. Even dousing the meat with teriyaki sauce did it no favors, and they were both pretty disappointing. The salad was also super lackluster - basically, the rice was the best part. Let's just say that I bought this for a teriyaki potluck, where members brought teriyaki from different places, and this one was easily the worst one. By a long shot. There's a lot of other options on the menu that's, eh, worth a try. +1 star for good service, but that's it's only saving grace. I'm going to stay away from the teriyaki here - there's far better around. read more

During this pandemic, they provide hand sanitizer and sanitized pens to sign your receipt. My favorite one from this place is beef teriyaki. Service: order and pay at the front, seat and water yourself, food will be delivered to you, box your own leftovers after requesting ToGo boxes. Your table will be bused when you leave. Cash only if your bill is under $5. Water and tea dispensers located to the left of the cash register. Typical teriyaki food with ice berg lettuce salad. They go a little light on the rice proportions in my opinion though. Good meat proportion. I got the chicken breast teriyaki and the meat was pretty tender and flavorful. My boyfriend and I were craving teriyaki and found this spot on Google Maps. When starting to order the lady told us there was no teriyaki?! And later changed her mind saying it would be a 10 minute wait if we wanted teriyaki. We ordered our teriyaki bowls and asked for chili spicy sauce on the side, she handed us a sriracha bottle . She gave us our total without asking us if we wanted any drinks. We paid and noticed there was chili spicy sauce right next to her! We asked if we can get some and told us it would be 75 cents which we can pay for even if she charged us already. She did not want to charge us for just sauce (bc we had no cash and only card) and just gave us the sauce for free. When we went to go wait for our food she started laughing with the man in the kitchen going back and forth in their language that we couldn't understand but clearly making fun of us. She brought us over our food and it was good food but definitely have had a lot better tasting teriyaki other places. We sat and ate our food in their dining area and we were never offered at least some water. So, this was a nice little find and my first time here was very impressive. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by one of the friendliest people you could ever meet and I'm kicking myself because I have already forgotten her name. The menu has all the standard stuff you might find at a teriyaki restaurant although they also slip in a few surprises one of which being french fries! Kind of odd, but someone did order them while I was there so I guess it works. I ordered a combination with spicy beef and chicken katsu both of which I would say were above average although the portion size of the whole meal was much larger than I was expecting. There was also two scoops of white rice and a salad the size of which would shame the typical "side salad" of most other restaurants out there and I'm talking all restaurants. The interior was very clean and well kept. Not sure how long these guys have been here, but it definitely isn't showing any type of wear and tear. The service continued to be excellent and it was fun to watch nearly every person that walked in get greeted by name along with being asked if they will be having their usual items again today. i chatted with the lady briefly on my way out and she handed me a punch card in hopes that I would soon become one of those same regulars. Seven years ago, I went into T-Time (that's what we call it in my house). I was alone and pushing my child in a stroller. I was a new mom and really didn't have the street cred to be able to eat AND hold my child at the same time. Luckily, the kindly matron of T-Time came over and held my baby while I ate. Since then, we have been regulars and love to eat there whenever we can. I prefer the chicken katsu and I'm such a freak about the salad dressing. I don't know why I love it so much, I just do. They sell it by the bottle (I know because I buy it). I eat katsu at many, many places and not many of standards but T-Time is my "go to." My partner prefers yakisoba that comes on a sizzling plate and crisps the bottom of the noodles. When I used to eat rice, we used to get the pork fried rice to go as a side dish. It's a big portion and everyone in my family could agree on it (which is rare). I'm looking forward to another 7 years of eating at Teriyaki Time. I am a fan of this little neighbourhood joint. The portions are massive! Seriously, their combination plates can be split between two unless you're famished. I always end up with leftovers for lunch the next day. Their crab rangoon is pretty good and their bento is the perfect amount of food. There's limited parking in their small lot but I've never had a problem finding a space. It only gets tricky at nighttime when the Mexican place next door opens for dinner. read more

Their "home made" dressing tastes like watered down thousand island and is unappetizing. Their fried rice is mediocre and bland. They have great people working there - very friendly and inviting. Ordered them tonight along with spicy chicken/katsu combo, Teri chicken and veg yakisoba. They were delish!! Very meaty, juicy and the sauce is fantastic. My picky wing connoisseurs gave a thumbs up. Be careful of the jalapeño chunks or whatever they are. They are spicy for this Scandinavian palate! Avoiding them made for a tasty wing. Wait, I need more napkins.... Green salad nothing special--other places have better dressing, but who orders teriyaki for the salad? Veg yakisoba was fine, katsu is very good (not dried up strips of chicken) and Teri chicken well flavored. Nothing to write home about, but good. The chicken wings will bring us back for sure.
