You really can't beat Manna Teriyaki if you're in the Everett/Mill Creek area. Once again, my husband and I had a great experience there. We chose to dine in and share bento boxes. Service was friendly, our orders were accurate, served hot, with great value. The restaurant was impeccably clean. they are still the most solid choice for Teriyaki in the area.

I've dined in as well as ordered to go. Owners are very nice and staff are friendly. They have a small dine in area, although the food is best freshly prepared it is also delicious to go. Son loves their katsu and California roll. Wanted to dine in when I heard they now have jjamppong. Glad I did, noodles were cooked perfectly, slightly al dente. Broth had a roasted/charred undertone and was not very spicy. Squid was a tad over cooked, still good just chewy. Thin slices of beef also went well with the noodles and savory broth.

There are like a million teriyaki joints in the greater seattle area, but how many of them serve up jjajangmyun too?? The korean-chinese black bean sauce noodles are one of my favorite things to eat but you usually gotta find a korean-chinese restaurant, and they aren't as numerous around these parts. so when i found out manna in edmonds had it, i was intrigued and trekked up north to try it. the place is small and most people were ordering take out but i wanted to eat my noodles right away. i think it was the owner - a very kind korean man - who rang up my order. the jjajangmyun came out pretty quickly too and it was really good. The noodles are store-bought and not handmade but i expected that. it's good to know there's a spot here for jjajangmyun at this little teriyaki spot! The rest of their menu which is pretty standard teriyaki shop fare looks good too! would return if i was in the area!

We got the jajangmyeon, teriyaki chicken, and pineapple fried chicken. Very yummy and reasonably priced. I feel like korean food in this area tends to be pretty expensive so being able to order 3 items for under $50 is fantastic. Owners seem super nice and ordering for takeout was relatively quick (despite the fact we showed up at opening). Would 100% go back!! Especially for the jajangmyeon.

The floor is so sticky!!!! Overcharged without an explanation. If the sign says 13.99 and you add three dollars to the bill you are overcharging. We thinking, "No big deal, it's only three dollars, maybe the sign needs updating." When two meals were brought out and they asked us if we wanted an additional Plate, I knew they forgot a meal. (Party of 3) When asked about it, they said we only ordered one. Even though during the ordering process she repeated back the order and charged us for it. Add a bad attitude to the customer and that is a recipe for destruction. I would say to the business owner, maybe make a new meal or do some Investigation into your mistake, say sorry and make it right because you secretly just said Goodbye to a 25+ year customer. Other than my shoe sticking to the floor, the food we did get looked good and it tasted good. The customer service was horrible and when you are spending your hard earned money after a work day...you sit down for a relaxing meal you didn't have to cook, to get attitude. No thank you!

This was covered with at least a couple inches deep of rice which is much more than two scoops plus a ton of chicken with a great sauce

Really good restaurant! They are under new management so we thought we'd give it a try. The people are friendly and the portions are huge! I really like the general chicken and egg rolls. My husband got the beef and teriyaki chicken combo and that was also tender and tasty. They also have sushi rolls as well.

Manna Teriyaki in Edmonds is one of our favorite places to eat! I have tried multiple different meals and they've all been fantastic. Featured in the pictures below is the NEW Korean Style Honey Garlic Fried Chicken and Chicken Katsu Curry. SO GOOD The owners and very nice and courteous as well!

I'm writing a second review because Manna has recently changed management. I'm happy to report my sentiment has not changed. I've only had the Chicken & Gyoza so far, but the new owners have not dropped the ball. The food is just as delicious, the service is what you'd expect from a teriyaki joint, pleasant and courteous. It's clean inside. No reason to pass it up, give them a try!

I had not been here in several years. It has new owners. My wife picked up a to go order for me. The chili shrimp was very good. I also tried their inari sushi and was not disappointed. It came with very fresh ginger as wasabi. They are vastly better than the previous owners. They do a lot of little things write. I saw a pack of soy sauce and wondered if it was Panda or Kikoman. It was Yamasa which is way better and what I use at home. This tells me a lot about this place. read more

This place is so absolutely amazing the service is phenomenal the food is out of this world it is so fresh and so quickly made the place is very tiny but the ambience is just so family-friendly and they have a teapot and a water station like many Asian places do pictures of all the items on the menus the guy working the counters so so friendly and everything is just absolutely phenomenal read more

I didn't get to try their namesake teriyaki during our first visit, but that's okay, since I know I'll be back! I was surprised that an unassuming Teriyaki place had rave reviews about its jjajangmyun (black bean noodles) & jjampong (spicy seafood noodle soup) by other Korean patrons so I was determined to check it out. It was a warm day, so my husband and I weren't really feeling soup, but we ordered the jjampong and Korean Crispy Honey Chicken. The jjajangmyun was delicious and I really enjoyed the noodles in particular. According to other reviews, they pull them in house! The Korean Crispy Honey Chicken was perfectly fried, and the rice cakes were also a nice textural bonus. I found the sauce to be just a tad too sweet for my Korean American palate towards the end of our meal, but my husband really enjoyed it and noted he'd never had fried chicken this delicious at a non-fried chicken specialty place. I'm very excited for future visits and to try more items on their menu! read more

Teriyaki is good, large portions, meat is cooked nicely, chicken and pork has some charred bits and crunch, beef isn't overly saucy, the salad is probably bagged but it's been fresh so far. The Beef udon and only the beef udon is good. Wonton soup is costco potstickers in broth. Window seats are plentiful, not much to see past shades but some light comes in during lunch time and makes place look cozy. Water cups and self serve station is never used, probably never cleaned. Bathroom has been clean so far but the soap dispenser is empty, you use a typical hand pump. The napkin dispenser is also empty, all the napkins sit in an open basket near the sink. Nothing out of the ordinary sanitary wise for teriyaki places, but it isn't meticulously cleaned. Black bean noodles are a biological weapon do not consume Day 1 queasy, filled two large baha blast cups with chewed noodles suspended in thick goo. Something to do during the hour drive home. Couldn't sleep from stomach pain I just laid there in the fetal position with a bowl. Day 2 Ganges river all day, stomach pain all day, I could smell the bean sauce which at least helped me puke more bean sauce out. Couldn't go to work. Day 3 No pain but morning duty still smelled putridly sweet like the day before, thankfully that was the last of it and I was able to work this day but i had to start late. This is when i was finally able to eat again. The part that pissed me off the most was that the entire dish maybe had like 3-4 flakes of meat floating around. There are good items but don't stray from the path of teriyaki and by god don't listen to their recommendations it nearly cost my life I will never step foot in this establishment for the remainder of my life read more

I have noticed an unfortunate trend recently. Prices sky rocketing while quality and quantity, noticeably decreases. This includes some of my long time favorite Teriyaki destinations. So I decided to try Manna Teriyaki, after a few years of neglect....for reasons I won't go into now. Apparently under different ownership, it was GREAT!!. Plentiful, and very tasty Teriyaki chicken...the best I've had in a long while, and a very extensive menu of hard to find Asian dishes. I've found my new favorite....and right under my nose! Highly recommend read more

The teriyaki is pretty good. Generous portions. I really like the salad dressing, it's creamy and delicious. What's amazing is their new Chinese-Korean dishes. Their jampong (spicy noodle) is super tasty. The black bean noodle is also really yummy. Highly recommend! read more

Driving by I noticed a sign for jjajangmyun so I drove in and ordered. I was genuinely suprised by the good taste and found out the owner hand pulls the noodles. If you like black noodles, you gotta try it out read more

The jjampong exceeded my expectations. The broth was very delicious with the right amount of heat, wok hei and tons of seafood and brisket. This combined with their great noodles, it's something I will definitely go back for. read more

One of the best teriyaki in north Seattle area this place is not your ordinary teriyaki this place has a kimchi fried rice and korean chicken dont read others bad reviews i had to go there and check out my self all im saying i love it i love it and also i just tried their chicken yakisoba 8.9/10 sheeesssshhhhhhh anyways ill be back once a week for sure read more

Came in to town to visit family and was brought here. Amazing. Beef and chicken teriyakis are great, but the star was the chicken Katsu!!! Wow, just wow. And the sauce? Put it on anything and it would be great. Liked the simple but fresh salad and the ginger dressing. Will come back soon. read more

This place came highly recommend to me so I decided to try it on lunch and should have went with my guy that day (Emerald City Smoothie) instead. The people are nice and it's clean but small. However, the food is alright. I ordered a teriyaki bento box meal and didn't even finish the sushi. It was a California roll with tofu and mayonnaise. Bleh! Also, deep fried. The chicken itself was just bland and only one scoop of rice. (As if that's what you're paying so much for $13.99). So with that being said I prolly won't be back unless I'm starving. I hope this helps in your decision to come here. read more

I was so tired after a day of traveling and this place was walking-distance from my hotel so I rolled the dice on it and WHOA it's really good!! I was never that into teriyaki then I had their teriyaki chicken and it was charred just the right amount to compliment the (very good)sauce, it's amazing. I got a family meal and it was a steal for $40, you get SO MUCH food They are a little hard to understand sometimes, but if you just remember/ask for your order number you should have 0 problems! read more

More Please I wanted a home cooked meal and this was just that! My Japanese Chicken Curry was so tasty. The portion was perfect, because I was starving! Definitely appreciated how it was packaged! Came here with my mom as its her favorite Teriyaki Joint- The menu is impressive both Teriyaki and Chinese Food.. We ordered to-go, and I ordered the Combo #1.. Came with chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu and three gyoza.. It was so yummy- The teriyaki sauce was the perfect way I like- Very tangy to the taste and sweet- Not too thick- My mom ordered her usual, normal chicken teriyaki with rice and vegis.. The chicken was cooked perfectly, both katsu and teriyaki- And gyoza's nice and crisp on the inside- The owner was so nice, service was fast- I have the menu now with me on the go and will order again soon.. Someone ordered General Tsos Chicken and it looked really really tasty.. Open M-Sat 10:30-9pm and closed Sunday.. Can't wait to go back was totally delicious! read more

They take so long, and unfortunately don't wear masks, at least correctly. Awful service, can hardly understand the woman. She told me it would be ready in 5 minutes, 15 minutes later and still not ready! The woman kept "shooing" me away it felt like, I just kept getting bad vibes. The smell of the restaurant isn't great either! read more

I want these guys to improve and be good because they look like they can. Ordered the Mongolian beef and everything was great except the meat was half chewy and tough. Please make the beef more tender and I hope to revise my review from 3 to higher after the next time I go here. read more

Definitely a great thing to come out of the fire that destroyed the previous buildings at this location. The strip mall is still adding businesses, but usually parking is fairly easy, turning in and out of it from Hwy 99 may have its challenges. I will warn you that although this food is delicious, it is pay by weight so do be aware of this when you go in. You get your own bowl and tongs to go thru the line and choice exactly what you want in your meal. So many noodle, veggie and tofu options, but also a huge area devoted to meat. I will also say to skip the cilantro as that can be added after in the free sauce area (this is such a great bonus on it's own). There any many meal options to choose from. My fav is the Tom Yum, but I have also had the Tomato and keep meaning to try the dry noodles. My partner often thinks he wants the spicy, but this is extra spicy so do order that cautiously. After filling your bowl you go to the counter where they weigh your food and enter in what style you want. Unlike other hot pot places, you do not cook this yourself, they cook it in the back and then call your number when it is ready to be grabbed and brought to your table. This can be a tremendous amount of food and it's messy, so don't wear your best clothes if you are a messy eater like me. They are happy to let you pack up your leftovers, which are delicious later and make me feel better about how much I am spending. We do sometimes worry that we will not be able to get a seat, but so far we have not had to wait to sit down. They do bring you orange slices and you can get soft serve for after your meal. While we were out and about, we saw Wonton Noodle House and filed it in the back of our minds. Today, we decided to drop by for a bit of lunch. For the two of us, we ordered #12 Large - Won Ton and Dumpling Noodle Soup and #94 - Stir Fried Udon with Beef. Service was friendly and pretty quick. Everything we needed to share these two dishes was brought with the exception of a large ladle, but we managed by simply using our soup spoons. We both enjoyed the Dumplings over the Won Ton simply because the Dumplings have more ingredients in them. The noodles had a good bite. The Udon noodles were very good and the beef had been properly tenderized. We would be happy to eat here again when in the area.

My Dan dan noodles was served with the same soup noodles and topped with a saucy ground pork and veggies. The pork packed a good amount of heat that I liked and enough to coat all the noodles. I personally preferred a thicker noodle but overall a good dish. The same lady who seated us took the order, served us, refilled our waters, rang up the sale and cleaned up afterwards. I'd come back here again.

Hot Dogs in Cars, and Managers Named "Robert" : A Hate Story…read more I have been a regular patron of The Rusty Pelican since I moved to Washington, just shy of 5 years ago. I take visiting loved ones and friends here, and I constantly extol the service and food to anyone who needs a recommendation for a breakfast spot in Edmonds. NEVER. EVER. AGAIN. The manager, Robert, showed sickening behavior. My partner and I were having breakfast out in front, when we noticed that a fellow patron had left their dog in the car on the sidewalk in front of our table. It was 60 degrees out, and completely sunny. The windows were barely cracked, and the dog was panting and straining its neck towards the venting of the window. We called our waiter over, who was incredibly sympathetic and horrified. He went inside to find the customer. We waited a few minutes longer, and then asked a second server to follow up (they were equally horrified and sympathetic). The second server also did not return. My partner went inside to seek help. It was at this point that they encountered Robert. My partner came out a few minutes later and explained what was happening: he had been in the process of denigrating the employees feelings about the matter, telling them to stop bothering customers and (essentially) quit acting like babies. "This isn't Arizona!" he exclaimed. When my partner asked to speak with him and tell him the situation, he was horrendously rude and confrontational, escalating each polite rebuttal with an agitating escalation of rudeness and denigration. My partner calmly explained that in these conditions, a car's interior temperature can rise to above 80 degrees in well under 30 minutes, not including stifling humidity. These conditions can cause an animal to pass out and die within a similar timeframe. At this point, it had been well over 30 minutes since the patron had parked. During all of this, he refused to even address my partner or look them in the eyes. It was absolutely unacceptable, and ultimately embarrassing for a grown man in a PAID CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED POSITION to treat anyone like that. To be clear: the entire staff were incredible. They came out to check on the dog a few times, and tried their best to confront the owner of the dog, but a certain manager was preventing them. They also apologized profusely, and showed a grace that is exemplary and frequently unseen in today's world. We learned several good lessons today: 1. We should have just called animal control right off the bat. The owner isn't going to learn their lesson without legal intervention, or lethal endings. Thankfully they left after about 40 minutes, and the dog seemed to be conscious. 2. I am never going to eat here again, as long as Robert is employed. He should be left in a hot car out front to teach him some perspective. I wouldn't call animal control for him though. 3. I am going to spend the rest of my days around Edmonds telling anyone who will listen this story. To Robert, if you read this: I hope nothing but bad things happen to you forever, and your behavior is inexcusable. You do not deserve to be employed. To anyone above Robert in a position of management or ownership: fire him. Quickly, and unceremoniously. Do it in front of the kind employees, as a treat. They had a familiar air of exasperation with Robert's behavior, telling me this is normal. And under no circumstances should it ever be. Shame on you Robert.

I'd like to complain about YELP.COM and its services. About three months ago, there were 9 reviews on Manna Teriyaki of Edmonds, there was Silvia C. (me), Elizabeth C., and one other user who reviewed on Manna Teriyaki. Today, there is only 6 reviews. May I say there is some discrimination against this restaurant? I didn't really mind that Silvia C. and Elizabeth C.'s reviews were deleted because it was just two.. but THREE? I mean, no matter how much you hate Manna Teriyaki, yelp.com surely does not have the right to delete reviews just because you don't deem them appropriate. I mean, they weren't even inappropriate either -- I just said, "I like this place. People should come here." Elizabeth just wrote, "Awesome joint! Come, now," and the other user wrote another compliment. If we're getting too much praise, it's none of your business, yelp.com. That's the users of this website's business. Don't start sticking your nose into places they shouldn't be in. Keep them on your faces. And @ the person who voted that this isn't good for kids: there's the KID'S MEAL, so I don't see why you voted "Good for Kids: No." On a side note, though, Manna Teriyaki is awesome. They have really original and out of the world food, like the Manna Rolls and Combos. I really enjoy their Chicken Katsu -- they're Larges are REALLY large, I mean, wow. You also have the option between salad, fried vegetables, and coleslaw: something a lot of other teriyaki restaurants don't offer; you usually only get salad. What more could you ask for? read more

I've been one of the longest customers of Manna Teriyaki. Esther Lee, who was originally known as In Lee, has owned the restaurant since 1996, selling it in 2000. Then she buys it again in 2006. Esther has a lot of experience; she's owned a teriyaki restaurant before she even had Manna Teriyaki. I remember back in the 1990s, customers would wait outside the door -- there were that many people waiting for a simple order of teriyaki. Amazing! I also remember it being so busy that it was too cramped to even wait inside the store. It was bustling with customers. Then, 2000 came and everyone started to disappear. Older faces no longer came and new faces came and went. It was a tough time for the new owners. In 2006, Esther bought it again. Sure, it's not as busy as before, but what with the economy being messed up now a days, it's harder to get what you got before at a low price of $3.99. In 1996, a box of chicken teriyaki wouldn't even reach $5.00; it was the cheapest teriyaki around! Even today, Manna Teriyaki is one of the cheapest restaurants exsisting in Washington, including free soup! I stopped going to this restaurant in 2000, when Esther didn't own the place anymore. Once she got it back, though, I come every two seconds. The place is too good! I give this 5 thumbs up. read more

Bad bad bad teriyaki I ever been. 1 star I just recently ate here on a Sunday, because teriyaki joints that are open on Sunday are hard to find. I was let down by the portion size and quality of the meat, compared to my usual teriyaki place. It's been 10 years since I've eaten at this particular teriyaki restaurant, and after eating there last night, it will probably be another 10 years before I go there again. read more

I recently tried the Korean style crispy honey garlic chicken at Manna teriyaki and it was exceptional. The chicken was juicy and tender and the sauce had a great balance of sweet and savory. i really really like this place. it's better than teriyaki way, at the LEAST. its too good to be true. and honestly, i think one of the employees look pretty cute! haha there all so friendly too. this is my number one favorite read more

To start off, the food prices are extremely reasonable. In addition, the service is very quick and delicious. I highly recommend Chicken Katsu or Garlic chicken Teriyaki! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! read more
