    Bento Box, Chicken Teriyaki
    Timothy H.

This restaurant is amazing. I had their chicken teriyaki bento box ($18) and it was such a good amount of food that I had to take some to-go. Not only that but the food itself was great. Their teriyaki sauce was so flavorful and tasty; definitely one of the best teriyaki sauces I had. The california roll was fresh and tasted really good. Their prawns were good; tasted a bit on the older side but still good. The service here was nice and friendly. Food was served fast. I enjoyed the ambiance. This place isn't known for dine-in. It looks like people take out more than dine in. It's nicely decorated and I enjoyed eating here. I would definitely come back here again. I wished I lived really close to this restaurant because I'd be eating here a lot

    Hot and Spicy Chicken!
    Matt R.

I have to hand it to owner Mi Lim L., she really knows the 'way' to deliver high-quality teriyaki! I had the Hot & Spicy Chicken and it definitely had a different flavor from the other Spicy Chickens I've ever had. The spice kinda kicked my butt, but that's cause I'm old and can't handle it anymore! But really good chicken, served piping hot. I will be back as it's really close to where I work.

    Beef Teriyaki
    Generous Y.

Hearty teriyaki, fairly large portions for the price! Generous amount of meat stacked on rice. Despite being close, I only discovered this spot because it's open on a Sunday whereas a lot of other teriyaki spots aren't. Salad is served on the side and all the space is saved for rice and meat, which is insane. I would love more sauce, preferably on the side, but there's still a fair amount of sauce present. Chicken Teriyaki - juicy and tender chicken make up over half of the entree. There's more meat than the rice and one can easily make two meals from this. Could use a little more sauce (for the rice especially) but still a very hearty and cozy meal. Beef Teriyaki - tender, flavorful cuts of beef that don't need extra sauce, but definitely enhanced by sauce. While other beef teriyakis have spring onion or regular onions sauteed in, this one is purely meat and rice which can be good or bad depending on preference.

    6. Cream Cheese Wonton

Not bad. We tried a variety of items from Teriyaki Way. Good size portions and it will fill you up. Reasonable price. The chicken teriyaki wasn't bad. We also tried the cream cheese wontons which almost had a little too much cream cheese in them. I also tried the bento box with chicken teriyaki. The teriyaki itself was decent as was the tempura shrimp and veggies. The California roll wasn't very good though. I would probably skip this. The salad was a nice touch but I wouldn't decide if the dressing was good or not. Overall it will do the trick if you're hungry but nothing stood out.

Hand-crank pressed strawberry lemonade and tofu teriyaki.

I just wanted to give a shout-out to the Teriyaki Way on Highway 99 next to TJ Maxx, off of 238th. The lovely older woman who I think is the proprietor (I haven't gotten her name yet) heard my boyfriend admiring her handcrank juice press machine, so she surprised him with a free fresh-pressed strawberry lemonade (worth $4) when his order came up. And, of course, the vegan tofu yakisoba was delicious, as usual! This is why it pays to #shoplocal and support our local #smallbusiness community!

    General Tso's Chicken w/Brown Rice
    Chris E.

I've been looking for a good Teriyaki restaurant that serves General Tsos Chicken in the Lynnwood area and am still on the hunt. However, the food was decent and very filling. The chicken was crispy but not fired all the way through; some larger pieces were soggy after biting into them. It also appears they use frozen vegetables when they stir-fry; which is ok but not what I expected on a $13 meal. The staff and service was very good! The lady who was working the front counter was very nice and greeted me when I entered. I ended up ordering to go, but would definitely go back just based on the service. I know "Chinese" style dishes are hit an miss at any Teriyaki restaurant, so I'll be back to try a traditional Teriyaki dish when I'm back in the area.

Great food, and one of the only places around that does gluten-free katsu. They are so incredibly friendly as well.

So crispy, but also chewy from the seafood, and they definitely don't skimp out on portions of ingredients and the size of this dish in general! Came across this place with strong reviews, and the name itself includes seollongtang, which is always a good sign that soup is taken seriously here. The restaurant is much more polished and refined than I expected. We ordered the combination and the cartilage and tendon one. I am always here for tendon, so that was an easy decision. My husband went with white wheat noodles and I chose the clear sweet potato noodles. It also came with rice, which was an unexpected but welcome addition. The banchan of kimchi radish and kimchi Napa cabbage were both excellent and refilled quickly without needing to ask twice. The soup is rich, creamy, and deeply comforting, the kind you immediately wish you had closer to home. Only wish is that they had a combination that included tendon, because that would be perfect. Definitely a spot I would come back to when we are in the area.

We ordered boiled dumplings and the friends combo A with jajung, jjamppong, and tangsuyuk (M). The bowls of jajung and jjamppong are huge, but I didn't notice any meat in the jajung. The jajung was basically noodles, brown sauce, and onions. It was tasty, but disappointing that it looked and tasted vegetarian. The jjamppong was tasty because it was garlicky and slightly spicy. I was surprised to see the boiled dumplings were basically tiny wontons in clear broth. They need to update their menu description because I was expecting dry and regular sized dumplings. The tangsuyuk was very crispy, and I'm glad they served the goopy sauce separately.

They had plenty of seating and we were able to fit our group of 6 into a booth. While they only have one grill per table, when the fire is turned on, it is really high so things cook so quickly! They have a couple of different tiers of options, but my family loves galbi so we opted for the premium tier ($45). The mid tier (I believe $35) you can go serve yourself all of the meat, but the premium meats are brought out. We tried galbi, ribeye and scallops from the premium menu, which were all tasty (the galbi pieces were large and marinated well, ribeye was nice and red, and scallops while small, came in the shell). Most of the sides and meats are self service which is also nice. They have many different side dishes (including cheese corn!), different pickled veggies, garlic, lettuce, sauces, and the meats and some seafood like shrimp and squid were self serve including a nice cold meat refrigerator for the thin slices such as brisket and belly. They even have a hot bar that I didn't try with various fried foods. They also had oranges, and my favorite - a self serve soft serve ice cream station! Yum! There were also yogurt drinks at the end. It is a lovely place that I think it is mom and pop - we had a sweet lady as our server and she was nothing but smiles. Things can get busy so it took some time for our premium meats to come out but no worries as there were plenty of self serve things to eat while we were waiting. It was a little confusing bc the menu options say what you get but you can't remember when you get up to the buffet area and get what you want. Everything at the buffet area was pretty much good to take!! It would be nice if the menu options were there at the buffet area. They did have beef brisket and angus beef brisket but we didn't get those cuz we thought it was the premium price and they were in a freezer or fridge of some sort locked so you have to unlock to wait 5 seconds or something. The tables where you cook the meat, the grills need to be replaced at least once bc they tend to scorch but it's nice they have air vents above to keep the air and such circulated. I've tried galbitang at other places, but there was an umami that many didn't have. All the banchan were flavorful too, I thought the kimchi had a good balance as sometimes it can be a bit on the saltier side. Service was great too, the sever was friendly and checked often. When I went, it was just me then a couple arrived. There was a delay with their order so she provided some mandu on the house while their order was being prepared.
