Probably the worst teriyaki experience I've ever had. I ordered a chicken teriyaki, extra meat, and an extra side salad. They put the extra meat in a separate box instead of the box that my food was in. The extra side salad didn't come with salad dressing and to top it all off they don't even have their own salad dressing ITS RANCH F*CK THAT 0-10 don't recommend.

The food is absolutely delicious, and the workers here are so lovely. I would recommend this place, 10/10!

Not bad! Large portion sizes and I appreciate that they give you a small salad with ranch too , even though it's nothing special. The chicken breast and chicken and beef combos were both good. The beef had a few grizzly bites but overall was solid. The teriyaki sauce itself was just okay. I would also recommend ordering extra sauce since you only get one small container with your order. Egg rolls were filling but nothing to write home about. I would probably skip them next time. Overall a decent teriyaki spot.

Ok tonight I went to pick up food for the whole family. 2 locations at the same area. They wanted teriyaki and so I went to Teriyaki Islands. I remember ordering from them before but can't really remember how they were. I just ordered the regular teriyaki. Fist of all they give you lots of meat and lots of meat doesn't mean it is good. The salad wasn't good. The container looks like it came from a grocery store. The dressing is very tasteless and the chicken wasn't as good as ichiro teriyaki. So 1-5 I would give it a 2*

Neighborhood gem and my go to teriyaki place. Best teriyaki chicken around. The folks who work there are super kind.

Food was plentiful but the taste of it was mediocre at best. Service was fast. I will not return there.

We shared the sushi nachos which we a little soggy and something we would pass on next time. The sushi rolls were fresh and tasted great. The Kay roll was the most intriguing since it was all vegetarian with sweet potato being the star of the show. Very delicious and fun for the veggie ppl out there. Good spot, large dining room so you don't feel cramped, service was great. A few parties that came after us were familiar with the servers and it was nice to see the restaurant had returning customers or had some sort of community.

The wooden partitions and traditional Japanese design elements create a cozy space that is both elegant and relaxed. It is the kind of place where you can take your time and actually enjoy the experience, not just the food. What really stood out to me was the freshness and presentation. You can literally see the quality at the sushi bar, with beautifully cut fish displayed right in front of you. It immediately builds trust and anticipation. I ordered a mix of items, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. The crispy rolls we had were perfectly balanced, with a light crunch on the outside and very fresh, flavorful fish on top. The textures were just right, not greasy, not heavy, just clean and satisfying. The crab tempura roll was also excellent, with a nice crispiness and generous portions. One of my favorite parts was how vibrant everything looked. The colors, the plating, the little details like the garnish and sauce all showed care and attention. It did not feel like standard sushi you can get anywhere, it felt curated. The menu itself is also really interesting. There are classic options, but also more elevated dishes like uni, toro selections, and specialty items that make the experience feel a bit more premium without being intimidating. You can go simple or explore more refined flavors depending on your mood. Service was smooth and pleasant. Nothing felt rushed, and everything came at a good pace. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, this is definitely a spot I would come back to. It hits that perfect balance between quality, atmosphere, and price. Whether you are going for a casual sushi night or something a bit more special, Kazoku delivers. Highly recommend. I felt like I was in Japan. I miss Japan .

We've had their fresh poke several times and our favorites are the spicy ahi and traditional ahi, and their mac salad is similar to what you can get in Hawaii. Chirashi bowl has a great selection of maguro, salmon, hamachi, shrimp, and egg, all over sushi rice. There's a great selection of fish and we appreciated them cleaning and scaling our branzino that came out delicious on the grill. Prices may be a little higher than other markets, but you can definitely tell you're getting top quality. No seating available to enjoy your chirashi or poke bowls, but plenty of parking. This place can get busy on the weekends so suggest you go early to get the best picks!

One of my first meals after moving here was a poke bowl from this spot! I've been here almost two months and have already visited at least 4-5 times - I've lost count, actually, but I know I'll be back for more. This is already on my place to go treat myself for my upcoming birthday. I'm now totally addicted to their salmon dip. The pricing is reasonable (please don't change), which is fantastic, and the staff I've encountered have all been very kind.

A family style type of vibe, you will be able to share with whoever you go with. Barley tea on tap and homemade kimchee with a meal you get. The kimchee is bomb. The food is bomb. The Jajangmyeon is delicious. The sweet and sour pork is phenomenal (sauce isn't too sweet nor tangy) the batter on it is crunchy and flavorful. Mobu tofu is yummy too. We've never had Mobu tofu with big pieces of tofu and no meat and it honestly made me prefer it more. 10/10. She treated our kids with such kindness and that'll always make me come back. My son doesn't prefer sauce on his sweet and sour pork & she made extra for him to enjoy. She didn't have to but she did. It's a cute hole in the wall type of place. The service to the food is 10/10.
