We've had many meals from here and I'm sad to say that tonight's was below average. I ordered the grilled bunkers and I won't be ordering them again. They didn't even look grilled, they looked more like chunks of boiled chicken (my Son thought it was chunks of white bread in a cup). The Philly sandwich my husband got was very good, so there's that. Delivery was quick. I'm going to try to include a picture from the Big Chicken app and a picture of what my food looked like.

Finally realized the bread used for Shaq snacks is Texas toast. I couldn't even tell this with my first one (the smokeshow) because it was so squished and didn't taste like garlic (overpowered by the coleslaw and ancho sauce). The el shaqito might be my favorite one because everything worked very well together. I like corn/elote, so that probably helps. The thousand Island dressing on the all American was really tasty, and the pickles tasted fresh. The mushroom melt was a huge pile of mess - even harder to eat than the smoke show.

Dirty Fries and two Shaq Attacks

First off - the chicken sandwiches were yum. We ordered 2 'Shaq Attacks' (future marketing idea: "Shaq Attaq"!). One sandwich had ranch replacing bbq sauce, American cheese replacing pepper jack cheese and add pickles. The other Shaq Attack just had add pickles. The reason I mention all these details will become clear. Also ordered the 'dirty fries' which are crinkle fries with cheese sauce, bacon, banana peppers and chipotle bbq sauce. Good things: + perfectly cooked chicken and tasty too + clean gender neutral restrooms + paper towels on the tables (great idea!) + dirty fries is a clever idea - sort of like an American poutine + kiosk ordering is excellent Things that could use help - if people order two similar orders, LABEL WHICH IS WHICH PLEASE - buns could be bigger - crinkle fries seemed like the most generic frozen fries you could ever imagine - [very minor] coleslaw on the chicken really cools down the meat - would be nice if you used recyclable products and/or provided a compost/recyle/trash bin rather than a generic trash bin for all. There are two big TVs showing Shaq talking about and doing things, but the volumes are off and there's no closed captioning. Very odd.

The service here is fantastic. And their buffalo sauce is lovely. The pineapple cream soda chased this meal down perfectly. Tarisha's crew was friendly, upbeat and helpful. The photographer was also my cashier. He was very patient with me, as I was quite indecisive during my order.

The chicken is fresh, hot, crispy, and juicy when you order it. So we should lead with that. When a restaurant only has one type of protein option and they do it well that's always encouraging! So I will say that this is a good spot if you're a fried chicken fanatic. I also thought I would include that the restaurant is rather clean, lots of parking and looks like it will be a part of a really cool little area once it gets a little bit more developed. The real reason I'm on here is complement the service! Staff seem to be on point, and the people who are in the back look friendly as they are smiling through the kitchen window. I interacted with a manager or sales front of house, person named Erika she went above and beyond to offer a great service. Congratulations on the opening, the place looks really inviting. I hope more people try this out.

Pair of Original Big Chickens to go ($8.99 each, 6/6/24)

I was curious what new food spot was going in near Westminister & 155th, near Town & Country - Shoreline. Finally, decided to check it out for dinner time takeout (6/6/24). One can order via the app, one of two touchscreen kiosks or from the counter person. It sure became busier as most of the indoor seating was occupied. There's also outdoor patio seating too. Two Originals (no crinkle fries or beverages) with tax & tip were under $22. It was a chicken patty with pickle slices, sauce, in a bun. It was okay, but the chicken sandwiches at Milk Drunk over in Seattle's Beacon Hill are much more preferred. 3.5 rounded to a 4. Big Chicken, locally owned and operated. The latest dining spot in Shoreline.

Ate at the one in Renton and this one in shoreline both the sandwiches was still to the table and I mean hot , differences Renton had sweet potatoes fries and shoreline didn't offer it, for me it didn't filled me up I order the first thing on the menu since that what they are know for and wanted people to try, but if I wanted a hot chicken sandwich in a clean place this would be it, for some reason "big chicken" I thought they would have like 3 or 4 pieces of chicken, I didn't see just sandwiches, fires and shakes. All in alll it was fast , clean , hot and a reasonable price, not bad

Glad to have a restaurant like big chicken in town. 2nd time trying big chicken, 1st time at this location and 1st time trying their tenders. Tenders were huge, juicy, crispy, and flavorful! I wish they gave more sauce as I ran out sooner than expected. I'd come back!

Overall we had a great experience on their second day of opening. Servers and cashiers all super nice and helpful. Their crispy onion was a little salty for us and too much dressing for me on my salad but hopefully can do dressing on the side in the future. Their chicken is amazing, perfect balance of salty to spice and super juicy; both the grilled and fried chicken were amazing!!

I was craving a good chicken sandwich so popped in because I was in the area. It was noon and the place was packed. The service was fast and well organized. I got the original - chicken, pickles, and sauce - and crinkle fries. I also tried the seasonal peach shake. Everything was fine - nothing spectacular. The chicken on the sandwich was MUCH smaller than in the photos on the advertising. And much smaller than photos from other Big Chicken locations. The chicken was not super flavorful. All the flavor came from the sauce - I had to add extra because there was not enough. The fries were fine. Shake was fine.

Great spot in Shoreline, next the T&C inside of the new mini mall. Clearly the staff is trained well, self service ordering, where I have seen in other fast food places, and if the process to order is a bit much wander up to the friendly staff at the counter. Menu is simple, combo up for a meal deal, or mix and match to your hearts content. Food selection is chicken based, from popcorn to strips with a few salads tossed in. We opted for, popcorn chicken, Mac and cheese, Shaq attack sammy, fries, coleslaw and a peach cobbler shake.... Okay Shoreline, GET IN HERE NOW.. Great flavors, jalapeno slaw was really tasty and the chicken in the sandwich was delicious and very moist.... I think we have a winner!! Cobbler shake shouldn't be legal, omg....

Otherwise, they just ignore you - even when there's a staff of over 5 people "working". I thought they would call out the completed orders/names, but they usually don't, so I've ended up with a melting ice cream cup before which I had to send back. It would be easier if they had a designated worker and area to check in for pick ups. The dining area is a decent size at this location. I'm glad they have different receptacles for recycling, compost, and trash, since a lot of fast food places only have one bin to throw away everything.

I've been annoyed how difficult it is to access Chick-fil-A's in Seattle, so I was happy to be there. Despite the random location, this shop was really nice. The interior is clean and maintained very well. I was surprised that they put real flowers in a little vase for all the dining tables - a nice touch! Staff were friendly and attentive too. It was also first time for me to see a Chick-fil-A hosting bingo nights. I'm curious what kind of crowd they get here. Since I was there in the morning, I could only choose from the breakfast menu (lunch menu becomes available at 10:30 am), but it did not disappoint! I had the biscuit sandwich and it went very well with the Chick-fil-A sauce. And it was under $6. The only thing that I found off-putting was that the building is fenced almost all the way that I have to walk a long way to enter. It makes sense because the shop is located in a very car-centric area, and it was not pedestrian friendly at all. I guess one other good thing is that even though you have to walk extra around the block, the bus stop is right next to the store. I wish they leave the part of the fence facing the bus stop open so that you can go right from the bus stop to the shop.

BUT YOU CANT BEAT THE PRICE POINT (especially in this economy) I came here around 1am after a late flight into Seattle and this place sure did hit the spot. HOWEVER, if you are a soggy fry lover like myself, I really enjoyed them! Look, I love a good crispy fry. But you know those soggy fries that are at the bottom of the McDonald's container? *CHEFS KISS* those are my favorite!!! Service was so fast! Food was basically ready a few seconds after I ordered. Mistakes happen, so that part wasn't a huge deal. The employees corrected the order after some confusion, although one of the burgers ended up getting thrown away unnecessarily. What really ruined the visit was another customer who involved himself in the situation for no reason. While we were trying to sort out the misunderstanding, he started making rude comments toward us, then escalated to yelling racial insults, including calling us "stupid minorities," loud enough for people in the drive-thru to hear. I told my friend to walk away before things escalated further, but the whole situation left a bad impression. This happened on May 18 around 11:20 PM. The food itself was decent, but the atmosphere and overall experience made this visit unpleasant.

It was like a time warp back to 2019, before customer service was destroyed by service industry folks finally having enough of the abuse and insanity heaped upon them by people who lost whatever manners they had been taught over a lifetime after two weeks of lockdowns. I don't blame customer service workers for giving up on being polite and friendly just to have a fountain soda thrown in their face because the ice cream machine is down. But it felt good to be welcomed with smiles and helpful, cheerful workers. I even spaced off the change from my $20 after using the bathroom, and Trinia (I hope I'm not butchering her name) brought it to me with a smile. If they could accept tips I would have told her to keep it. I left with my delicious McMuffin, my latte exactly how I asked for it to be made, and feeling good. I arrived at the drive through and was greeted by someone asking if I had a mobile order, who barely got those words out before beginning to shout in a foreign language with deafening background noise. Since I would clearly not be served at that order point, I drove to the second window (nobody was in attendance at the first). The person didn't acknowledge or apologize, but just said OK when I showed the order number on my phone, and then walked away. More than 10 minutes later, with a line of vehicles wrapping around the corner behind me, another employee appeared and told me they had chosen to clean the coffee machine during the breakfast rush and would be unable to make the beverage for which I had prepaid. She was confused about how to refund it but eventually handed me some cash and walked away. Several moments later, someone handed me my order. I declined the straw, which I had explicitly requested not to be included, in the mobile order. For context, per Washington's Single-Use Serviceware Law (RCW 70A.245.080), it's unlawful to give a customer napkins, condiments, utensils, or straws without their request or affirmative consent. In the unnecessary double bags (one inside another), I also received the following items I didn't order, request, or consent to: three limp round discs of bread (Hot Cakes?), a large container of sugar syrup, two plastic packets of butter, two paper packets each of salt and black pepper, a wrapped fork, a wrapped knife, nonrecyclable packets labeled "strawberry preserves", "grape jam", and "mild picante" (I ordered one salsa, received two). See photo for the unexpected trash included in the bag -- not shown is the extra bag and the three discs of dough. I paid $1 extra for two extra portions of grilled slivered onions with my steak breakfast but received approximately 6 slivers in total. Between the approximately 20-minute wait after arrival, the unrequested items, the missing onions I paid a ridiculous premium for, poor communication, and incompetence (cleaning coffee machine during breakfast), this was a very disappointing visit.
