    Peanut Butter Chip shake

Finally realized the bread used for Shaq snacks is Texas toast. I couldn't even tell this with my first one (the smokeshow) because it was so squished and didn't taste like garlic (overpowered by the coleslaw and ancho sauce). The el shaqito might be my favorite one because everything worked very well together. I like corn/elote, so that probably helps. The thousand Island dressing on the all American was really tasty, and the pickles tasted fresh. The mushroom melt was a huge pile of mess - even harder to eat than the smoke show.

Dirty Fries and two Shaq Attacks

First off - the chicken sandwiches were yum. We ordered 2 'Shaq Attacks' (future marketing idea: "Shaq Attaq"!). One sandwich had ranch replacing bbq sauce, American cheese replacing pepper jack cheese and add pickles. The other Shaq Attack just had add pickles. The reason I mention all these details will become clear. Also ordered the 'dirty fries' which are crinkle fries with cheese sauce, bacon, banana peppers and chipotle bbq sauce. Good things: + perfectly cooked chicken and tasty too + clean gender neutral restrooms + paper towels on the tables (great idea!) + dirty fries is a clever idea - sort of like an American poutine + kiosk ordering is excellent Things that could use help - if people order two similar orders, LABEL WHICH IS WHICH PLEASE - buns could be bigger - crinkle fries seemed like the most generic frozen fries you could ever imagine - [very minor] coleslaw on the chicken really cools down the meat - would be nice if you used recyclable products and/or provided a compost/recyle/trash bin rather than a generic trash bin for all. There are two big TVs showing Shaq talking about and doing things, but the volumes are off and there's no closed captioning. Very odd.

The service here is fantastic. And their buffalo sauce is lovely. The pineapple cream soda chased this meal down perfectly. Tarisha's crew was friendly, upbeat and helpful. The photographer was also my cashier. He was very patient with me, as I was quite indecisive during my order.

The chicken is fresh, hot, crispy, and juicy when you order it. So we should lead with that. When a restaurant only has one type of protein option and they do it well that's always encouraging! So I will say that this is a good spot if you're a fried chicken fanatic. I also thought I would include that the restaurant is rather clean, lots of parking and looks like it will be a part of a really cool little area once it gets a little bit more developed. The real reason I'm on here is complement the service! Staff seem to be on point, and the people who are in the back look friendly as they are smiling through the kitchen window. I interacted with a manager or sales front of house, person named Erika she went above and beyond to offer a great service. Congratulations on the opening, the place looks really inviting. I hope more people try this out.

Pair of Original Big Chickens to go ($8.99 each, 6/6/24)

I was curious what new food spot was going in near Westminister & 155th, near Town & Country - Shoreline. Finally, decided to check it out for dinner time takeout (6/6/24). One can order via the app, one of two touchscreen kiosks or from the counter person. It sure became busier as most of the indoor seating was occupied. There's also outdoor patio seating too. Two Originals (no crinkle fries or beverages) with tax & tip were under $22. It was a chicken patty with pickle slices, sauce, in a bun. It was okay, but the chicken sandwiches at Milk Drunk over in Seattle's Beacon Hill are much more preferred. 3.5 rounded to a 4. Big Chicken, locally owned and operated. The latest dining spot in Shoreline.

Ate at the one in Renton and this one in shoreline both the sandwiches was still to the table and I mean hot , differences Renton had sweet potatoes fries and shoreline didn't offer it, for me it didn't filled me up I order the first thing on the menu since that what they are know for and wanted people to try, but if I wanted a hot chicken sandwich in a clean place this would be it, for some reason "big chicken" I thought they would have like 3 or 4 pieces of chicken, I didn't see just sandwiches, fires and shakes. All in alll it was fast , clean , hot and a reasonable price, not bad

Glad to have a restaurant like big chicken in town. 2nd time trying big chicken, 1st time at this location and 1st time trying their tenders. Tenders were huge, juicy, crispy, and flavorful! I wish they gave more sauce as I ran out sooner than expected. I'd come back!

Ultimate burger Chopped salad with grilled chicken Peanut butter shake

Overall we had a great experience on their second day of opening. Servers and cashiers all super nice and helpful. Their crispy onion was a little salty for us and too much dressing for me on my salad but hopefully can do dressing on the side in the future. Their chicken is amazing, perfect balance of salty to spice and super juicy; both the grilled and fried chicken were amazing!!

Original and fries and peach shake

I was craving a good chicken sandwich so popped in because I was in the area. It was noon and the place was packed. The service was fast and well organized. I got the original - chicken, pickles, and sauce - and crinkle fries. I also tried the seasonal peach shake. Everything was fine - nothing spectacular. The chicken on the sandwich was MUCH smaller than in the photos on the advertising. And much smaller than photos from other Big Chicken locations. The chicken was not super flavorful. All the flavor came from the sauce - I had to add extra because there was not enough. The fries were fine. Shake was fine.

First time trying this place. Ordered 3 items on the app.I just got home and found out that they didn't include the popcorn chicken. And popcorn chicken wasn't cheap. Also, the estimated time to pick up was 813PM, order was handed to me at 825PM. I waited only to realize when I got home that my order was not fulfilled completely. I looked at the receipt attached to the bag and the last section (bottom part) was not even marked. I checked the bag before I left but the items were all on top of each other so I assumed all of my orders were in the bag. Funny how I redeemed the free drink (on the app) but didnt get the popcorn chicken!

Great spot in Shoreline, next the T&C inside of the new mini mall. Clearly the staff is trained well, self service ordering, where I have seen in other fast food places, and if the process to order is a bit much wander up to the friendly staff at the counter. Menu is simple, combo up for a meal deal, or mix and match to your hearts content. Food selection is chicken based, from popcorn to strips with a few salads tossed in. We opted for, popcorn chicken, Mac and cheese, Shaq attack sammy, fries, coleslaw and a peach cobbler shake.... Okay Shoreline, GET IN HERE NOW.. Great flavors, jalapeno slaw was really tasty and the chicken in the sandwich was delicious and very moist.... I think we have a winner!! Cobbler shake shouldn't be legal, omg....

I have tried all their chicken sandwiches, tenders, and wings. Great sauces. The buffalo wing dipping sauce is the best sauce.

It looks like online ordering is cheaper than in store, which is interesting. While Teriyaki is the first thing read, I want to say the curry and fried chicken are the stars of the show (I have not had the teriyaki though, but reasons will be explained). As soon as you step inside the store, there is a strong curry smell surrounding the room. Curry is definitely strong and likely popular from first impression. Second, the fried chicken looks mouthwatering and there are different lunch combos. It's also possible to only get 5 pieces of chicken for $10, in case you aren't as hungry. Basically a quarter order, given how a full order is 20 pieces. A full order can easily be split between 2 people, but I'd push for 3 people as well. Crispy Yangnyeom Chicken - they offered me sauce on the side, which I gladly took for an opportunity to try the chicken plain. Otherwise you can opt for the chicken being glazed already. Chicken was double fried by the crunchy taste and extremely juicy. Fresh out, the chicken was also tender and burning. Yangnyeom sauce here is spicier than other places, which is more realistic of yangnyeom. Others tend to focus on the sweetness. Overall delicious and a huge portion. Crispy Ban Ban Chicken - today I learned that Ban Ban is half yangnyeom half original. In this case, half the chicken was original and half was spicier with yangnyeom sauce on the side. For a more authentic Korean experience, you may opt for this as it's a popular choice and allows one to get both sides.

If you're ever in the Edmonds area craving some Asian…read morefood, this generous mom & pop shop delivers in massive, both metaphorically and literally, ways. My wife and I stopped by, and by some recommendations, we ordered: 5-piece Korean fried chicken (soy garlic flavor) Japanese Curry Katsu Teriyaki and Katsu combo I'm just going to lump the reviews of the katsu orders together. Right off the bay, these portions are LARGE. This place serves generous plates that can easily be two separate meals. The star of the show for me was the katsu. The breading was light but crunchy, and the katsu paired with the katsu sauce? Unbelievable. The curry was also nice too with the curry adding a thick layer of goodness onto an impeccable piece of meat. I'm already thinking of more katsu. The teriyaki was great too. Nice and simple, you can't go wrong with the teriyaki. If you want more of the sweet teriyaki sauce, there's a stand near the register where you can grab a bottle to lather on more. The Korean fried chicken - probably the largest pieces of chicken pieces (drums, wings) I've ever received at a restaurant. The soy garlic flavor was really prominent, and it also had a fantastic crunch to it all. My only qualm, albeit a tiny small one, was that it didn't pack that *crunchiness* of Korean fried chicken, as in it seemed like it was only fried once. But no matter, we were both enthralled by all the meats and flavors. Come one, come all. This place truly is a gem in Edmonds and can easily missed while driving down the road. It's no glamour or pompous shine, but this humble restaurant sure packs a punch. I'm full while writing this review and already planning my next trip back.

Don't get me wrong, the food tasted amazing, the portion sizes are great, and the price was justified. However, the negatives outweigh the positives for this restaurant. Me and 3 other people came in, and the store was empty. We ordered 3 okra soups, 1 with chicken, 2 with lamb, and 1 jollof rice chicken plate. The first plate took about 40 minutes to come out, which was an egusi soup to which we had not ordered. We still had to wait longer for all of our food to come out. Upon my food arriving, I noticed there was a hair in the Saran Wrap of the fufu, making contact with my food. Because we had already waited so long for our food to come out, I didn't bother to mention it to the worker. Comparing Jollof Hub to Pass D Jollof, this place has better portion sizes and better pricing. It was $26 for okra soup that includes protein and 2 portions of fufu whilst PDJ charges $34 for okra soup, you have to pay extra for protein, and 1 portion of fufu. That said, I don't think I'd come back here due to the food safety issue.
