I've only ordered from this place for delivery but every time it comes it's perfectly delicious and still warm so I feel like it would be even more top notch in person. I've ordered the classic and the cheese. Meat is cooked just right and the house sauce is divine. Fries are heavenly with just the right amount of crisp. Arriving at Herfy's about 11:10 a.m. today, Wednesday 9 August 2023, it was cool and gray outside and I took the angled parking spot closest to the outdoor seating area. Going inside to place my order, I looked over the menu before ordering an onion burger, curly fries, and mocha milkshake. The counter worker and cook were both friendly and warm. After waiting inside and getting my mocha milkshake, I decided to sit outside to eat my meal. The counter worker brought the burger and fries to my table when they were ready. I found sitting outside relaxing and the traffic passing by provided background noise. For the mocha milkshake, it was cold and thick, though still drinkable through the straw it came with. Mocha was more on the subtle side. The curly fries were hot and crispy without being dried out. The onion burger was a well cooked 1/3 pound beef patty with a hearty amount of caramelized onions, mayo, and cheese on a bun. I tried it with ketchup too, but thought it was good all on its own. A bit run down building but clean. A nice greasy spoon type burger joint. Good selection of food, including burgers, fish, fries, and such. Good selection of toppings and condiments. This burger spot isn't too bad. I wouldn't label it the best burgers in town but it was a good fix. My boyfriend and I got a cheeseburger, a kids cheeseburger, and a large crinkle cut fries. I liked how the fries were crispy and fresh. My boyfriend liked his cheeseburger and my kid's cheeseburger was a good portion since I didn't have much of an appetite. Great place to get a "homemade" type of burger. We purchased two orders of their California burgers and fries - both were super tasty! We've dined in and done take out, each time the food was tasty, cooked and packed well. The atmosphere has been calm and inviting on all three of my visits. Average burger joint (3 stars is my standard). Nothing was extraordinary but nothing disappointed either. Fries were the star of the show, although I wish I was able to get curly fries. Ordered through Uber Eats and there were french fries and criss cut fries, so I assumed the latter were crinkle cut and the former were the curly ones mentioned in other reviews. Anyways, wasn't the case and I got crinkle fries which were pretty solid. Quantity was appreciated as well. Burgers - Hawaiian, spicy chicken, chicken breast, bacon cheeseburger. Added an extra patty to each and they were each filling for my party. The Hawaiian is interesting as it comes with a pineapple so that was new. The pineapple itself was pretty sour. Chicken breast is literally chicken breast with mayo so I got what I asked for, I guess as the menu describes. Wouldn't get it again but did want to try it. All the buns could be improved as they're standard without any grilling or anything, but this location does offer alternative buns at an additional price so those may be worth trying. Checked out this cute little Burger place in Edmonds. Totally loved this place. It looks like a drive thru place, but actually it's misleading because of the size of this place. Plenty of burger options on their menu. Picked up Chicken and garden burger that day. Both were delicious! The burgers are small comparing to other burger joints. But adequate! Ugh. Didn't realize they *greatly increased prices* until we were ordering and hangry. All meals come with fries or an onion ring or sweet potato fry upgrade - none of which I wanted. New owners have made improvements like digital menus. Seems like a misused place to spend money? Decor needs a lot of attention for price point of entrees. We came in tonight with a whole girl's softball team, 13 girls plus the parents and coaches. Our orders came out super fast and weren't messy or rushed despite the large amount of food ordered. We also ordered around 14 shakes and they were quick and delicious! I'm just really impressed with everything, the food quality, excellent customer service, and speed. Still searching for the perfect burger spot for my hubby since our favorite experienced a fire so we give this place a shot. I love the "old time" feel of the menu board and dining setting. Couple picnic type tables outside. The lady was nice who took our order. There are many menu items to choose from including several milkshake items. She brought our food outside to us where we were sitting. Food tasted great. Sandwiches were hot and the lettuce was very fresh. Fries tasty and milkshake was ok too. I was hoping for a little more American old fashion type burger. My husband said his burger was good but not good enough to make a second trip anytime soon and my spicy chicken sandwich was more like a Sweet and little spicy so I was somewhat disappointed. Absolutely amazing food and service. Fries were crispy, onion burger was juicy and flavorful, paid extra for the bacon and it was crispy and rich. The most important part for me is the fountain drink machine and their inconsistencies qt restaurants but this one had their syrups at the perfect ratio and the carbonation was spot on. Herfy's in Edmonds was HORRABLE!!!! First off way overpriced, we could have eaten in a full-service restaurant for less money. The service, horrible it took a half hour to 45 minutes to finally get our food after ordering. The food was Horrible, they claimed Charbroiled flavored Burgers, there was no charbroil flavor whatsoever, just greasy fried flavor. The overpriced waffle fries were dark brown, crunchy, hard as a rock from being either over cooked or refried, and were not eatable, we should have demanded they replace the fries but after the long wait all we wanted to do was toss most of the food after spending nearly $40 for it in the trash and get out of there, very unhappy with this restaurant and feel cheated and ripped off! I wanted a burger. I could've went to Dicks, McDonald's, Five Guys or even Red Robin. However, I feel that we should be supporting small businesses. I got myself a double bacon cheeseburger and curly fries. Burgers was big enough for a guy who usually eat 2 cheeseburgers from McDonald's and amount of fries they give you is probably double the amount jack in the box large curly fries. Also got chill cheese fries, they were ok, but not great. Wish it was bit more spicy.
