Me and my boyfriend ordered the boba, half and half hot dog and a churro mochinut. We had so much fun here! The only downside is that its super freakishly cold in here so i quite literally had to bring a blanket in to enjoy it. It also took quite some time to get our order. Id still come back tho hehe

Location is clean, parking lot is big, they have a hotdog option which some of the Happy Lemon locations do not. I would say that this is a nice spot to connect with friends, and all of the drinks typically taste really good. Highly recommend C4 on the menu.

Back when I lived in the Bay Area, Happy Lemon used to be in my regular boba rotation, perhaps visiting once a month or so. I found their drinks to have by far the most caffeine of any other boba place - it would tend to make me feel quite jittery and jumpy for several hours after drinking. Happy Lemon has now spread to quite a number of cities in the US. I recently decided to stop by the Edmonds location to see if anything changed from my last visit to Happy Lemon several years ago. Boba Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, Less Ice ($6.25) - This drink is similar to how I remember it - perfect balanced sweetness with a lot of body, allowing the tea taste to come through and meld with the other ingredients. They add a ton of milk powder, resulting in a drink that also feels like it's on the verge of being gritty, especially due to the residue that coats the tongue as you drink. I feel like the tea isn't quite as strong - while the flavor comes through, the bitterness of the caffeine is very muted. I waited for the jitters to arrive but they never came. The boba is just a bit on the firmer side, but exhibits a very pleasant chew throughout. I'd say overall this is a solid drink that I'd be happy with in most settings. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating; 4/5 Happy Lemon is a pretty large chain at this point, so if you like the drinks at one location, you'll probably like the drinks here as well. The service was fast and friendly! We were looking for Taro shake but they didn't have it. Instead we were recommended the Ube with Matcha shake. We added Lychee Jelly. It wasn't our favorite. It tasted like it had a hint of medicine to me but no surprise, it was likely the Matcha. The OG Bubble Waffle tasted as expected. The place was clean and spacey! I want to try the Seoul Dogs next time!

I always take the time to visit this place when I'm in Edmonds. The staff are really nice and very patient when it comes to helping us choose things we haven't tried before. It's always clean and the style and lighting is nice. Sure, sometimes there is a wait but it's a popular place and because of that, parking can sometimes be a challenge. However, people are moving in and out pretty quickly. The Mochinuts are a chewy ring of deliciousness but the choices tend to be limited. Their Korean hot dogs are fantastic and have yet to try the sugar coating and of course, Happy Lemon boba is always a yummy treat! Highly recommend!

You get your mochido, bubble tea (happy lemon) and corn dog (chun chung) 3 in 1 restaurant. Ambiance: The one thing that stood out to me was how dirty every single table was. Every table I checked out had some sort of stain on them-- whether it be grease or crumps. Some tables that were put together from two smaller tables had their edges all dirty and it's evident they haven't cleaned them for a while. The floor was sticky as well. Other than that, it was a cutest decorated place and very Instagram worthy :) Service: Food came out in around ten minutes-- we ordered two corn dogs and a pack of three Mochi donuts. It thought it was pretty decent timing-- no complaints there. Cashier was doing his job, not excellent but would answer your questions. But lowkey I think he thought I was asking useless questions from the way he answered my questions lol. But he wasn't rude about it so it's okay! Food: I can't really tell if the corn dogs were made fresh, but the cheese reallllly pulled off and I had a lot of fun eating it! 8/10!! The Mochi donuts were pretty mid. I don't think this has anything to do with the location because I feel the same way eating it every time. The Mochi wasn't really doing its thing and felt more like a regular donut. Flavour wise, it didn't really entice me this week. Overall, the donuts were probably a 5/10 average for me. Besides the cleanliness, everything else about this place was pretty good for an in and out restaurant!

I first saw the Happy Lemon bubble waffle in action on YouTube in a video by a duo based in Honolulu. It looked good, but I was uncertain of whether it would be as good in person as it looked on TV. So, I looked up Happy Lemon to see if they had any locations closer to me and found this Edmonds location a few miles from the house. After running 21.84 miles over the past 7 days, I decided to celebrate by trying out the bubble waffle. Arriving around 6:00 p.m. today, Monday 14 August 2023, I placed my order for an original bubble waffle and Tiramisu salted cheese (abbreviated SC on my receipt) at 6:04 p.m. and the workers were on filling it. By 6:12 p.m. I was out the door with my waffle and dipping sauce in hand. The bubbles of the waffle were partially filled with the waffle and partially filled with air. It was light and fluffy and a sweet flavor. The Tiramisu salted cheese was more of a rich flavor, which paired well with the sweetness of the waffle. I found it to be a nice sweet treat for a hot summer evening.

I revisited the Happy Lemon in Edmonds after a long time (since another location opened closer to me in Lynnwood) and I was pleasantly surprised to see its new renovations! There are new seating areas, which allows more people to sit in and the addition of board games builds the potential for a fun hang out spot! I absolutely love this spot for my personal favorite - ube fresh milk with taro balls. They also make delicious mochinuts with a variety of flavors that change throughout the week! I've never tried their Korean rice dogs before, but they also come in various combinations. The staff here is always friendly, but be wary of peak hours since I've had to wait 45 minutes for boba once! It just shows how much people love this location, especially with so many other food options around.

4.5 ! -0.5 only because I wish they had more caffeine free options since they're open so late (which is awesome) and the pudding was very bland and difficult to drink up so I had to eat it all at the end. But otherwise drinks were great! Rec: go lighter on sweetness than you would usually if you're sensitive to sugar like myself. The salt crema was salty and delicious to balance out the rest! Loved the real strawberry chunks in mine. Quick service and cute interior! Good quick lil date spot I'd say ;) didn't try any of the food but everything I saw people eating looked good!

This metal thing was inside my drink very bottom. I did not notice it until I finish my drink! I ordered thru DoorDash otherwise I would've complained in store. I'm very disappointed and disgusted knowing I drank a drink with that weird metal thing!

The staff are so friendly at this busy establishment! I've never heard of "Happy Lemon" until my teen introduced me! The restaurant was clean and when I advised them the bathrooms had graffiti and needed to be cleaned they took care of the issue immediately. Most importantly the staff knows the importance of proper hand washing and the food was great! A bit more spendy than I expected but still worth the trip and wait in line!

How I heard of this place: We drive by daily, attracted to the lemon-head logo, and after seven/eight months, decided to make a stop. Type of cuisine: "Happy Lemon Seattle uses premium tea leaves grown in Asia with locally sourced fresh fruits to deliver a range of yummy drinks. Every cup is freshly brewed and hand mixed with quality ingredients onsite. We differentiate ourselves with healthy ingredients, great tasting drinks, clean & cozy surroundings and fast friendly service." This location also serves Mochinut and Chung Chun Rice Dogs, which is what brought us in on this visit. Ambiance: Cute, spacious, and simple, with various options for seating - casual, living room style and elegant marble slab tables accompanying bench seating. Lines build as the minutes tick, yet ordering is quick and space is generous for those in line as well as those awaiting their orders. Modern styles, wall murals and many banners/signage help newbies, like us, to navigate the ordering process. What I ordered: On this visit, we selected the Strawberry, Churro, Yuzu Lemon and Ube Pebble Mochinuts, as well as one half-half Extra Crispy Ramen Rice Dog (with sugar topping), two half-half Crispy Potato, one Crushed (Cheeto) Cheddar Rice Dog and accompanying sauces: Garlic Parmesan, Honey Mustard, Sriracha Mayo, Sweet Chili. What I loved: The cheddar rice dog was the favorite in our small group, while the potato rice dog won for presentation. The mochinuts were all good, extra dense and doughy (due to the mochi), but the Yuzu Lemon offered us the novelty and uniqueness we were after. Why I loved it: It's simple, a taste of Korean street food in Seattle and a fun treat for adults and children alike. Cost: Average ($5.75 per rice dog)

A tasty option for bubble tea with decently fast service and just adequate seating. What sets Happy Lemon apart is the diverse menu, which is perfect if you're a bubble tea fan looking to try something different. I went last time with the cold, fresh, sweet (but not sugary) ube milk, which comes with taro-flavored tapioca. It's a great introduction to ube if you haven't tried that before. I wish there were more of a flow around the handoff plane. The area where you'd nominally wait for your drink is actually squeezed between some of the tables and the ordering line, which makes it a claustrophobic and awkward place to wait.

Service is SO SLOW here, it took half an hour to get a lemonade. Must have been waiting for the lemons to grow. And really loud too.

Fortunately, there was no traffic so it was a 20 min drive easily. However, a lot seemed to have changed from about a year ago? We got popcorn chicken which was $9 for a very tiny plate (like the medium size sampler food container you get at food tasting events) which is a joke of a portion, and the chicken was not even good quality - heavy on the batter. Compared to pictures a year ago, where the portions looked much much larger. They are so stingy on the amount of chicken, that I thought they were giving us a sample to try before they make a real batch lmaooooo. I tried the Kocochi milk tea with creme brulee, boba, jelly, etc. Sounds good on paper, inflation I get it, was expecting $7 but it was $8, plus tax, so it is actually not that competitive of a price anymore now that I think about it. I could get a very good quality boba drink for $7.50+tax elsewhere without all the fancy toppings, but with boba included. I was pretty disappointed with the quality. The boba is so overcooked that it is mushy, and the creme brulee was not thick enough that I have to use a spoon to even be able to get any of it out (instead of being able to drink it from the other side which is what it is supposed to be). I'd avoid this place unless this is a one off but I will need to be redeemed a better experience before recommending this place. There are better options in the area

Although I try to be as openminded and objective as possible, when it comes to dessert, I'll always vote for Asian desserts, and I'm not going to lie. I've tried three different chè here, and none of them failed me. They were Bambu Favorite, Summer Delight, and Taro Lover. To sum it up for those who've never been here before, it's basically coconut milk with various boba style toppings. I always get the large size on Saturday afternoons and take it to Edmonds Beach. Out of these three, my least favorite was Summer Delight, simply because I didn't enjoy scooping out the thick glass noodle textured jelly at the end. I love how all my chè were coconut milk based, they're lighter than milk and don't leave that nasty aftertaste and bad breath lingering in your mouth. The ingredients such as pandan jelly and tapioca were fun to eat, with a subtle sweetness to them. The whole cup of chè is perfectly balanced, nothing overwhelming the other. As someone don't drink and smoke, having a chè after my weekly grocery shopping is a mental spa break for me. So next time you're nearby, give it a try, Asian dessert drinks are more than matcha latte.

I had never heard of chè before, and it seems like it is not easy to find a spot that serves authentic versions in the Seattle area. The store is located in the same complex as Ranch 99, which makes parking very convenient since there are plenty of free spaces available. There were a few people ahead of us in line, and it took us some time to decide what to order. My friend suggested either #1 Bambu Special or #2 Bambu Combo, and specifically advised not to get a boba drink here. I chose the #1 Bambu Special since it was listed as one of their top-selling drinks and had fewer calories than the #2 Bambu Combo. I selected the regular sweetness level to get a more authentic taste of chè. The drink came out quickly, but after taking a sip, I was not quite sure what I was drinking. It had large chunks of ice, floating basil seeds, pandan jelly, longan, and coconut. Tbh, it was very disappointing. The drink was not cheap. It cost $8.50 before sales tax and tip, bringing the total close to $10. Is it worth driving all the way to Edmonds and paying almost $10 for this drink at Bambu? Personally, I don't think so. There are only about five small tables, so it is not the kind of place where you would want to sit and hang out, either. I feel like I could find a better drink and better experience somewhere in Bellevue or Seattle for a similar price.

They have a wide range of banh mi fillings, from the classics to some harder to find options like roast pork, so there's something for everyone. My personal favorite is the crispy roast pork banh mi. The pork has that perfect crackly skin with juicy, flavorful meat underneath. Paired with the pickled veggies, fresh cilantro, and a light spread of mayo on a crusty baguette, it hits all the right textures and flavors. I also love the special banh mi with all the different meats. It's basically the greatest hits lineup with savory cold cuts, pâté, and other cured meats layered together for a rich, satisfying bite every time. It's hearty without being overwhelming, and the balance of fresh and savory components is spot on. And don't skip the drinks. The egg coffee was surprisingly excellent. The Vietnamese coffee base had a deep, bold flavor with that classic slightly bitter edge, and the creamy whipped egg topping added a smooth, lightly sweet contrast. It felt indulgent but still very coffee forward. Overall, this is a great banh mi spot for me with the great variety, tasty sandwiches, and a standout egg coffee to round it all out.
