Totally love this place. I appreciate how you order your food, grab a number and the staff will deliver. I also appreciate how they serve alcohol and will give that to you before you walk to your table. My friend got the hot honey shrimp and chips and I got the teriyaki salmon bowl. We also got a cup of chowder. I didn't care for the chowder as it wasn't as thick as I like. I love the big pieces of shrimp deep fried in Panko however, there was not enough of the hot honey drizzle. My teriyaki salmon bowl was phenomenal. I was so happy with it and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They checked on our table frequently. Absolutely love coming here with my dog and family! Great Ciders and a beautiful view. But Last night left a sour taste in my mouth- while my husband was in line I sat down outside, we have been circling around waiting for someone to get up due to the limited seating and didn't want to order food unless we could get a seat outside. As soon as I sat down "Jenna" came up to me and told me I had to get up. Because I did not have a Number that they give you at the register I was unable to sit there. I looked around and saw multiple people sitting outside without one, yet she only comes up to me? Really embarrassing as she said it loud enough for everyone to hear so everyone turned and looked at me. I stood up and went back inside, and of course someone takes our spot. I would like to point out there was no sign, at least that we could see that said you can't sit outside without a number. Jenna however didn't seem to care that we had been waiting a long time and just decided to stand there until I got up to leave. I ordered the PNW Cioppino with pasta and found it simple and delicious. It was hot, tasty and the sea fo ingredients were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, even while sitting out on the patio on a beautiful evening. Being a visitor to Washington state I continue to be surprised by the actual cost of eating out here and the taxes charged but one can't blame the restaurant for just trying to keep in business. I walked by earlier in the day and came back for an early dinner. Cute spot. Very fresh. I had an oyster shooter. It was ok and interesting, but I'm glad i only got one. They were huge oysters. About 4 bites worth. Not something I'd eat in one bite, like a kumamoto. But it was fine. I liked the sablefish bowl. The best part was the skin with the rice. The fish itself was buttery, but a little bland. Nice to have the greens with it. I liked the bowl. The slaw was nice and fresh. I enjoyed a glass of a local sauvignon blanc with the meal. $47 total. We had such an amazing experience at The Net Shed on the Everett waterfront! From the moment we walked in the service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming -- it set the tone for a truly great meal. The fresh seafood here is outstanding, and everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared. I got the ahi poke bowl, which was fresh, vibrant, and perfectly seasoned -- a great balance of textures and flavors. My partner had the Maine lobster roll, and it was absolutely delicious -- packed with sweet, tender lobster and served just right. We also had a few other dishes, all of which were fantastic and showcased the quality of their seafood. The only tiny wish I have is that their ale-battered fish & chips were the only version of fish & chips on the menu -- I'd love to see a few more batter or preparation options in the future -- but what they do offer is excellent. They have been open about three months now and I finally took the opportunity to go. I ordered take out but the restaurant part is set up with an order counter then you get a number and sit at a table. Or in my case there are a few chairs set up in front of the fresh fish case. It's not just food you can order but they have a fresh fish case as well. I ordered the hot honey shrimp and the key lime pie jar. First off the shrimps and fries were delicious. The shrimp is battered and fried with a slight sweet heat, I actually used some Thai sweet chili dipping sauce when I got home that took them to the "oh my" level. They did come with tarter, didn't try it. Not a fan of tarter. Fries were solid. I didn't eat the key lime till later that night and wow. Really good. Might be a slight bit tart for some folks but I loved it and was singing the "Key lime pie" song afterwards. Again it's tart , but I LIKE that. Just got back from eating at The Net Shed for the first time. It's a different seafood restaurant. A lot like fast food, you walk up to a counter and place your order, then you go find a table. Many open tables had reserved signs on them, so that's clearly not fast food. I ordered the 3-piece fish (cod) and chips and that order came out nice and quick. My first impression is the pieces of fish looked under-fried and pale. I took a few bites of the coleslaw and that tasted fine, but was far too dry to my liking. The fries are excellent! I liked those quite a bit! Now the 3 pieces of fish were not so good. They tasted ok, but all three were soggy, the batter was very pale and all 3 were very very greasy. Like grease running down my fingers, my hand and down my arm. This was not pleasant at all. I will not be in a hurry to go back here. read more

Nice place on the waterfront. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. My husband got the halibut fish and chips and I ordered blackened salmon tacos. We were not disappointed! I had the Alaskan Cod and chips. My wife had the warm lobster roll. We also ordered chowder style fries (since her sandwich didn't come with them). All the food was good. The one surprise was the chowder fries. We got the bacon and chive. We didn't expect them to have chowder drizzled on them. It was really tasty. The batter on my cod was light, which is my preference. The fries were crispy and nicely seasoned. My wife really enjoyed the warm lobster roll with brown butter, on a soft roll. We felt well taken care of, as the staff asked us several times how we were doing or if we needed anything. I'm SO excited The Net Shed is open! We got there kind of late, about 45 minutes before they closed on Sunday. It was still pretty busy but clearing out so we were able to get a table. We ordered right away, got a number for our table and sat down. After about 10ish minutes, our food was brought out piping hot! Immediately, the crab roll caught my eye with how big it was. It was loaded with crab on a super soft roll. SOO good! The cod was delicious, and the halibut was so soft and tender. The breading on the fish was perfectly crispy and the tartar, omg so good. Even the fries were perfect! They had a light seasoning that was honestly addictive. A couple of the owners, as well as a few of the employees, came by to check on us several times to make sure everything was good and that we were happy. They were so friendly. The inside looks really cool as well. Lots of tables but also open with lots of space to move around. We can't wait until the weather gets warmer and they can open up the doors to the patio seating. I think we might actually go back tomorrow to try more of the menu. It was so good and I can't stop thinking about it. read more

I stopped in this afternoon to give this place a try. I walked in and they had a fairly wide menu of options, and they had some specials. One of the specials they offered was fish and chips made with rockfish, so I ordered this and sat at the table, waiting patiently. They brought out the food and it was super delicious... The fish was coded in beer batter. It was light it was tasty, it was very satisfying for a late lunch in Everett. I highly recommend that you give this a try next time you pass through Everett. I really wanted to like it. The fish seems really fresh - it tasted great. The clam chowder was really good. The fries are, I think, standard Sysco 3/8" fries. There's no seasoning on the fries, no salt or anything. The batter for the fish was completely bland, again no salt or other flavors. It was like chewing on flavorless clouds. Also, it was so oily that it was soggy by the time I got to eat the last 2 pieces. Ketchup is not available with the other condiments for some reason so I didnt get any ketchup with the fries. I think you have to ask for it special? The bussing situation is complicated and awkward. Hopefully it gets better. I'm rooting for them read more

We did go shortly after they opened so it was very busy & outside seating was not yet available. Kudos for how well they get you seated. My son had the Lobster Roll sandwich I had the Lobster Bisque. I am very sensitive to overly salted food so always have my son taste it so I don't fault them. Bisque was VERY salty with NO viable lobster....just an odd deep orange. Lobster had been frozen & not thawed properly. Why do I know this? My father ran all the Pacific Pearl canneries in Alaska before the fishing fleets became self contained, so I KNOW about frozen fish & what it should taste like. Other reviewers said the lobster was decadent. Maybe we just hit it on a bad day, but probably won't go back despite the rave reviews. read more

We have been so excited for this place: fresh fish right by the marina is a no brainer but it feels like they had to get a few other concepts out of the way to make room for something like this. The hours cater more to the day time and early dinner crowd so double check before you think you can have a late meal here (our first mistake when hoping to try it one weekend). The second and largest issue though is that the ordering system is a total mess. The restaurant has a good number of tables (and I heard them say the outdoor seating will add even more soon) but they stay full and you cannot put in a food order until you have a table number. Like, can't even have them start typing it in or pay and wait for a table to open. This causes a huge line up at the door and honestly doesn't really make things move any faster because then you have people sitting at tables longer, waiting on food instead of turning them over. The guy at the register was also a total chatty Cathy so nothing moved fast when it finally was time, and he distracted himself so much he messed up orders. They do allow you to buy a drink while waiting but all I had on my mind was food. I'm not sure if this ordering model is their idea or a health code issue with having people standing around, but it certainly makes things frustrating. That said, I'm very glad we stuck it out. I had an ahi poke bowl which was delicious. Huge chunks of ahi and really excellent flavor. We also ordered the Beechers loaded fries which were deliciously seasoned and loaded with great toppings. A little cold for waiting on immediate food, but still good. My 3 year old had chicken strips which were nothing special but scarfed down by her and my bf ordered the chowder and blackened fish tacos. The chowder was fine and tacos were good but flavors between the fish and the slaw didn't really blend well together so taking a bite gave you one taste or the other but not really both. He had debated getting fish and chips but made a last minute change due to the loaded fries but will definitely do fish and chips next time. I really like what the city of Everett is doing with the waterfront, new housing and new restaurants. I've wanted to check this new place out for a bit and finally was able to talk my wife into going. First impression nice modern style building can open wall doors to increase outdoor dining area gives it a nice flexibility. When we arrived we were very lucky to get a parking space in the restaurants lot there is more space but you might have to walk a bit. We arrived around 6 on a Saturday so it was busy you order at the counter and then get a table, the line went pretty fast. They have beer on tap and bottles and cans too. I decided to try their Cioppino and my wife got a salad with a Teriyaki Alaskan Salmon bowl. Didn't take long to arrive I finished mine the broth was lite and it along with the linguine didn't over power the seafoods also it was a generous portion. Because my wife had a salad she bought some home for a work lunch but I tried it and the salmon was cooked to a nice medium and the rice had a nice texture and flavor. Dinned at the Net Shed today and brother, it was a great decision. The cod was flaky and moist but the breading stayed crispy, even with a healthy application of the 'dill'icious tater sauce. The Hot and Honey shrimp provided a fabulous juxtaposition to the Cod. More sweet t than hot but definitely hit the button on yummy. The Chowder had the perfect combination of clams, potato and celery covered in a Baby Bear ( not too thick and not too thin) white broth. If you get two items with fries, substitute one for a side Caesar Salad. The homemade dressing and croutons are fantastic. Olivia crushed it with friendly and attentive service. Such a wonderful addition to the Everett Waterfront. I can, without trepidation, recommend this 'Fish Bar' style restaurant and will be my goto for fresh seafood and a frosty Mac & Jack. read more

My bff and I had lunch at The Net Shed today at the Everett Waterfront. It's owned by the same group that owns Tapped. Same concept where you order at the counter and get your own drinks. I had the lobster and crab toast and a cup of crab bisque. I loved the toast. It was small but very filling. The bisque was ok. Will try the chowder next time which my friend had and liked. She had the loaded lobster fries which were huge. She liked them. It's a bit pricey. Service was great from Quinton who took our orders to Amy who helped us with the menu and brought our food out.
