I didn't pick this place the first time I wanted to get nail art done in Boston because it had so few Yelp reviews and that was a HUGE mistake! This salon did a much better job in about a quarter of the time for less cost than nearby salons with way more Yelp reviews. I'll definitely be back and would trust this salon to do some involved designs! read more

Came in for the first time this weekend for gel-x removal & a new set of acrylics as my usual nail tech at another salon is taking a break. My tech was Tina ! She was so sweet and kept checking in with me to make sure she wasn't hurting me during the removal or any other step of the process. She took her time getting the nail shape perfect, which I really appreciated. Tina had me check the nails at each step of the process to make sure that I was happy with what she was doing. They came out super pretty ! (,: Thank you Tina ! you are an angel !! read more

My second time here and I have to say I'm very disappointed with the quality of work. They scheduled me with Kim for gel manicure and removing dip powder. After removing my dip powder, mostly with the machine, my nails looked uneven with marks on them from the machine. I have never had this issue after removing dip powder. I came in with long natural nails and wanted them slightly shorter and shaped. I ended up getting different lengths and shapes on each nail. It wasn't uniform at all. And lastly the gel polish was not put on well. The corners were not clean and I had a piece chip off just less than a day later. Unlikely to go back here again and certainly will make sure to get a different tech if I do. read more

Exceeded my expectations! Went to get my birthday set from another salon and was told there wasn't enough time to do anything but a french manicure. I called around to see if anyone else would do nail art on top of an existing set. My nails came out beautiful and just as I wanted. Super excited to take pics with this set! read more

Hands down the best nail salon I been to. Did a mani and pedi, both were terrific! If I come back into town, I will definitely come here.

I made a pedicure appointment and arrived 3 minutes late. A lady greeted me at the door and I picked a color and waited at the pedicure chair. No one seemed to be available, I kept waiting... and waiting. Two people arrived after me with later appointment times and were started before me. Finally someone came to my chair, 20 minutes after I arrived. No greeting, no apology, no nothing (the technician next to me apologized for the wait to the girl who arrived after me). I wasn't asked what shape I wanted or anything and as she was about to skip cutting and start filing, I asked her to cut the nails short. I asked her to cut cuticles and please clean around the nail. She half ignored me half got annoyed at me, cut a bit and kept working, then messed up one of my toes by doing sandals after fresh polish instead of sandal, separator then polish; not a big deal until she just painted over the spot instead of fixing the polish for the entire nail so now there is an uneven toe nail. I went to dry and left with my uneven toe to never come back. read more

My second time- I was disappointed that I paid $68.00 for fill and a new acrylic nail. The top cover was tacky feeling. To me that is using inferior products. It's insulting. It implies that I'm not a discerning customer. I've been getting these services for many decades every 2 weeks. The staff was nice and parking is miserable. I had been willing to put up with the really high price and Inconvenience of parking, if the result was high quality. Also there were some sharp edges that I had to file later (though that was minor.) It's so frustrating to spend a lot of time and money for a less than perfect result. My advice to this business is to toss any inferior patients products-- because that cost you a customer that pays above $5000 a year for nail management-- so you could save a few pennies. read more

New spot on Newbury and a must try! Adriana is the best nail technician in the city. My shape is exactly how I like it every time I see her. I always get French dip or French ombré dip and I am obsessed. If you have a busy schedule and only have an hour this is your spot. As for the salon, wow! Everything is new, clean and maintained. It's not often you find this. All other staff here are so polite and treat their customers like family. read more

I almost don't want to post this to bring attention to this hidden gem, but seriously. Best mani-pedi in Boston, hands down. Everyone is so nice, the staff takes your concerns and comfort seriously, and you'll walk away smiling at your nails all day. Reasonable prices for a fantastic service. read more

Easy to make appointment on line. Facility is very clean and staff are kind. I've also never had to wait.

This was the typical rushed nail salon experience. Made an appointment for 4:00p for "Gel Manicure + Design". I show up at 4:00p and it looks like they let every walk in from across the city. I get seated right away but when I ask about the design I want they tell me they can't do any designs because all the design techs are busy. Ok...then what is the point of booking an appointment? I wanted to leave since I already wasn't going to get the service I requested but I did not want to be rude. I then picked a solid color and asked if I could get acrylic tips instead - since I was not going to be given a design. Another no since they are too busy. I ended up getting a basic color, which I could've just done at home myself. Minimal cuticle care, did not shape my natural nail and was very rushed throughout. They also tried shoving my hand into an extremely hot glove full of cream and it burned so I kept trying to deny it saying "it's hot. It's too hot" but the nail tech kept trying to force it on telling me "leave it there"before finally letting me wait for it to cool. There were also no tables available so they sat me in a pedicure chair (I was not getting a pedicure) and I had to awkwardly set my gel in the UV lamp they set on my lap. It is very clear that appointments don't really mean much here, since they appear to take any walk in and will rush you out to get your seat open. I also notice there is a trend on the reviews where management responds and argues with their customer reviews. Not a great look or way to take criticism but all I know is I will not be coming back. read more

Amazing place to get your nails done. Super experienced and can do complicated designs. I will definitely return and recommend to all my friends read more

I've been looking for a nail place for a while now and I'm kind of happy that I found this place. Pro: They are usually always ready for a sudden appointment if you need one which is amazing considering I'm never sure when I'm free. The place is clean and the staff is pretty nice too. There is quite a bit of option and they have a wide variety of nail charms. My friend has been wanting a set of nails with charms on it and we went to 3 stores and finally, we came here and her dream came true. The price is pretty good. I had Casey do my nails. When black dipping powder got onto my nude nails that weren't dry yet, she restarted that nail. I went somewhere else before and the person just blamed me for bumping into the powder so this is definitely an upgrade. I have really small hands and Casey was so patient in doing it and the design came out so well and neat. At first, I was worried about the nail shape, but I told myself to trust the process and I'm so glad I did. Near the end, Casey went in and file down all the tiny and uneven nails. I love it. The hand massages after were good too. My friend's nail technician forgot to give her a massage and Casey ask my friend to sit down again so she could do it for her. She was also really patient with me because my arms were really stiff. Casey also helped me look for colors when I didn't know and I didn't get that service at other places. The staff always constantly ask us if we like our nails to make sure we were ok with it. The only problem I had was Casey accidentally filed into my cuticles on the nail she redid so it did hurt when she used alcohol wipes on my nail. Which I wish didn't happen, but it's a minor problem. I will just ask her to be more careful next time Con: when you go in, even when you have an appointment with someone, they won't know. I originally schedule with Tina but I ended up with Casey. I still had a great experience but I think they can work on that part because some people prefer a specific technician and the cuticle accident. Casey also would move my arms and fingers repeatedly until I loosened up, but it was like a gentle nudge here and there. I wish she would tell me next time. read more

Adriana was amazing!!! I came in looking for a protective nail style and instead of suggesting the most expensive she suggested what would work best for me. She did an impeccable job with tips + dip nails, they are super thin and natural appearing. The salon itself was super cozy and clean, overall 10/10 read more

This was my second visit to this salon. I really enjoyed my first visit and was very happy with my gel manicure which is why I returned. This visit however was not what I had hoped. My nail technician seemed annoyed from the beginning and was rough during my manicure. I did not feel relaxed like I hope to feel when paying for this service. My gel manicure has now chipped and is starting to lift up less than a week after. I usually get 3 weeks out of my manicures. :( read more

Where should I start? I went yesterday to a salon and they did a horrible job. Once I got here, which is not my first time, they were very gentle. In the other salon they hurt my nail by over-drilling and my nails ended up very sensitive. The understanding, professionalism, cleanliness, accommodation, the NAILS ARE PERFECT!! I am about to board a plane and they just saved my mental health, vacation, and they did such and amazing job. Here are my nails, this is french dip power with extensions. Today I was seen by a different person than last time, both of my times I have had an amazing experience with service and product! Coming back again and again read more

My first visit to this location was yesterday and I am more than delighted to post this review! The salon is super-clean and relaxing. I had a wonderful spa pedicure and a regular manicure with Yuki who was lovely. I've come here several times with wonderful results but have been disappointed with my last two visits. My nails come off or break way too easily (less than a week of getting them done) and the polish chips off within the same day. Extremely overpriced, told me it would be 120, I was charged nearly 300 dollars! (I did not get any add ons btw). Every nail was completely different shapes/sizes. She also cut apart of my cuticles and bruised it, didnt even apologize or mention it. Never coming back. Also, for the owner, going online and leaving a review is IMPORTANT! Allow people to voice their experiences, good or bad instead of silencing them. If you are making someone pay however much for nails, they should experience good good service. Not make constant corrections, a nail spa is for relaxing. Why am I breaking my neck every five seconds because I'm afraid of a fuck up? Questions/check-ins should be asked by the nail-tech. This is a very loud and chaotic establishment, kids and people yelling/running around. Disorganized walk-in/appointment systems, etc; this can cause people to be hesitant on voicing themselves! My nail tech could barely hear me half the time, talk over me, etc; read more

I got something completely different then what I asked for. Don't even bother to bring pictures to show them because they do not know how to do nail art. I'm genuinely upset about this nails and how it turned out. I felt uncomfortable for asking for what I really want because the employees are just talking loudly and crowding around me. I think it's very unprofessional. If I'm paying money for it i should be able do get what I asked for. If they know they can't do some art they should let the customers know before they even start because I showed the picture of exactly what I want. When I walked in I told the them that I'm here to get long acrylic nails and nail art which cost extra. But she was done after she painted with gel and added too coats. I felt rushed too but I really did showed what I really wanted so they could've at least say we can't do that in the BEGINNING. I didn't wanna be rude or I genuinely didn't have the time to complain so I just left so I'm leaving a comment here. I read the response. I understand the talking to the employees situation. But What I'm saying is she didn't tell me she can't do them in the beginning. I showed her the pictures multiple times. I was so disappointed at the end because she said it was gonna be too expensive and she can't do them after she was done with the color gels. I'm very very disappointed. I also don't appreciate the way you responded. This is my opinion on your service and it doesn't need to be clarified. This is a review. read more

First time. I came on a friends recommendation. I did a dip with removal- $70. Fine. HOWEVER, my appointment was supposed to be with Mya. It wasn't until I checked out and wanted to Venmo my tip that I discovered I had Kim. Based on previous I A) wouldn't have wanted Kim B) they seem to switch out technicians last minute Kim struggled with my shape (a basic almond- they were uneven and I had to be annoying and keep pointing out what I wanted fixed). Then while filing she rubbed so hard she ripped open my skin. My dip took forever and again I had to ask her to thin out and fix things along the way. My left hand actually looks great, but the right one has a lump, some are thicker then others and my thumb has a strange texture and smudge in the top coat (noticed as I walked out). I wouldve said something but since I was there for almost two hours I just wanted to leave. I may return (I'm only in town for a short time and need a nail place!) BUT I will ask for a different tech and make sure it's the actual person I booked with. Over all the salon is very clean and nice. Just an overall heads up. read more
