In the past, i could never justify getting my nails done regularly- only for special occasions- let alone going for the extras like dip or acrylics. This salon changed everything! The confidence and good feeling I get every time I look down and see my hands is so worth it. Besides everyone being so nice, a few specific things really set this salon apart from any other I've been to: 1. SO CONSISTENT - It literally doesn't matter who here does your nails bc they're all so great. Many salons are "amazing... if you ask for XYZ". Here, I have yet to ask for any specific person, I've have had my nails done by probably five different people at random, and I don't have a complaint about any. Every single time I leave so content, and they last so long every time. They also really know their strengths so if for some reason you have a really detailed art that maybe someone else is better at, they'll just switch out at the end. Which to me is a positive and that they care enough to openly tap in whoever can do the best job. 2. SOOO SKILLED WITH NAIL ART! Find a super cute nail design on TikTok? They'll repeat it to a T, no matter how detailed! Other times I just say "I like this vibe, but doesn't have to be exact" and they're fine with that too. 3. HAVE A GOOD EYE/SENSE OF What looks good- I can be indecisive so them being able and willing to tell me which of my color options they like best or a potentially cute design idea if I'm drawing a blank is so helpful and appreciated. They've even recommended a different nail shapes based on my goals re: growing them out, which was really nice. 4. NO WAIT TIMES?!? I have no idea how this happens because you'd think it means they're not busy, but nope- there are always people in there, but it never feels crowded or chaotic at all. they're so well organized and efficient. I think I've made an appointment like twice and the other times they were so welcoming for walk-ins, and had me sit down and got started immediately. read more

The WORST experience ever. I went to this salon since it was close to my work and I was able to get an appointment between my meetings. The actual experience for a gel pedicure was average - good nail polish technique, not great with the massage and scrubbing for a $55 pedicure plus tip. Anyway, I walked out happy with a fun nail color ready for my vacation week. Next day, while running errands I noticed one of the nails was bare with no polish - the entire gel polish had slid off. Slowly through the afternoon, all nails showed the same wear and the nail polish started falling off. I called the salon and the person on the phone apologized and said that they will take care of me once she spoke to her manager. The manager asked me to come back for a gel nail polish re do which was not feasible since I work in Boston and don't live there. Then they offered me a $13 refund for a $55 service which was so poorly done that the gel nails which I thought will last me 3 weeks, lasted less than 24 hours. I texted them pictures of my toes as requested, asked for a refund of at least 50% of the cost of the service. They held firm at the $13 refund which I declined. I had to go to another salon, spend $50 again for gel nails. I'm never going back here again. read more

I had some really high hopes coming here on Friday afternoon after all of the good reviews. I came at 3pm for my appointment for a gel mani and regular pedi. The pedicure was fine, just wish that my lady had made sure all of my toes were evenly cut. It was clean and I enjoyed the hot towel and the hot rocks since I'm always on my feet for work. The manicure was probably one of the worst experiences I've had. I had asked her to file my nails to a square shape because I didn't want them too short, but she ends up cutting majority of my nails. She had made all of my nails different lengths which I brushed off because I was thinking maybe it's not TOO noticeable. I'm usually not one to say much, especially since the place was busy due to graduation, but even that, there's no excuse to rush and be aggressive to a paying customer. She paints my nails but doesn't coat them to the edges. I'm more upset at my manicure experience because I noticed the night of at home that my nails were already chipping and turning yellow!! That just means that the top coat is old and the paint as well. This just makes me super sad since my nails are short, stubby, and I paid/ tipped too much for such a horrible manicure. I visited for a pedicure and to address an ingrown toenail. They did an excellent job, and after a few weeks, I'm pain-free!

Kenny is HORRIBLE. His hands were shaking like a leaf the whole time he did my nails. This is the second time I've been to this place (foolishly) and both times I've been given Kenny. He is disrespectful and paints nails like a third grader. Not to mention the dog that was running around the salon yapping and the kid that was grabbing at everything wreaking havoc. I had an appt today at 10 AM for a Pedi and gel mani. Pedi: Everything was going well with the pedicure until she started to paint my toes. (When painting white toes you have to be very particular.) after observing her work I noticed my nails weren't painted completely. The edges of my toes were left unpainted. I pointed it out and she attempted to fix it by painting over it. She then decided to redo them. The job was better than the first time but still not worth the price for the job. Gel Mani: Since I wasn't 100% happy with my feet I decided that I was going to skip out on my mani to not be disappointed. The lady that did my feet told me someone else would do my mani for me. I decided to give that person the benefit of doubt and went for it. To say the least: my Nails look like I painted them. There's no shine and there are bumps on my thumb. They do not look professional at all. I should've listened to my intuition and not gotten my hands done. I'm not happy with the work of the salon and will not be returning. UPDATE: I called to request a refund and the owner stated she was unable to do that because it wouldn't be fair to her workers since they dedicated time doing my nails. Adriana reached out to fix my nails and she did just that! I'm now in love with my nails and they're exactly how I like. This will now be my go to nail salon in Boston. The customer service alone is top tier. First time here and I really wanted to love it. I had an appointment and once I arrived they were able to get started right away. I had Apres Gel so they started by soaking my nails and prepping my nails for a gel manicure. I don't believe they removed all of the previous gel because my nail beds were very uneven. Then they started with my gel manicure and I requested white which can be a little difficult to apply. These pictures were taken as soon as I walked out. Bumps and air bubbles on half of my nails and the "clear" coat that was applied made the white look almost grayish. Cost over $50 for this and Im going to have to get them redone. Crooked even after I pointed out that two nails were crooked and they said they weren't. Initially different lengths I filed two nails when I got home. I am incredibly disappointed. I walked into the establishment, it was very very nice and clean. I expected it to come with great service and great work and unfortunately neither occurred. My nails were 85 dollars and i think they are the worst and most expensive set i've had yet. She didn't trim my cuticles, my nails are rough and textured, they are incredibly thin, and i spent 85 dollars on horrible service. This is 5 hours since they've been done incredibly disappointing Hi there, Unfortunately I felt as if I couldn't say anything because the first time i did I was made to feel embarrassed and like I didn't know what I was talking about. Adriana did it again! A Happy ONE month, yes 30+ days!!! to my dip powder nails. I have never had nails last this long and they still look so lovely. It's refreshing to not have to watch my nails getting done because I can trust her. I've received many compliments. Literally don't go here. Coming from someone who has very thick and long natural nails, she literally made my nails so thin. She made me soak my nails in acetone for 20 mins while she worked on someone else. Used the drill recklessly and filed down my nail thickness to nothing. A waste of 50 bucks. I understand they had a lot of people and were in a rush but I've been to cheaper and better nail salons. I'm glad my nails can grow back in thickness. Never going here again. Terrible terrible terrible. Also noticed it's not even painted to the edges or fully coated. Just a freaking waste. I want my money BACK. To reply to the owner: I've been getting acrylics for three years now and my nails have never been this weak or thin. Please don't try to tell me about nail degradation, I'm not a novice in this. My nails are naturally strong enough to handle a lot hence why I've been able to do acrylic for a long time on my natural nails. The process you had used is very different, aggressive, and rough. You asked me once if the drill was hot once. Not multiple times. It wasn't hot for me, but I knew the way you were drilling was harsh for my nails but I'm not one to speak up (my mistake). The drill didn't have to be at that speed and it wasn't VERY necessary to do it that way. Because I've been going to the same nail tech for years and she has never done it the way you did. Unfortunately she's in California and I needed to change my nails for graduation pictures so I stopped by to your waking. Even then, I think because the store was busy you took less time to make sure it was good work. I called on Tuesday for a nail extension with dip and a pedicure. I specified that I was a picky person & it was MY FIRST TIME. That clearly didn't matter. My appointment was at 5:30pm, I didn't get my feet soaked until 5:50pm no big deal. Communication definitely lacked though. My appointment reminder was with Kathy, then it switched to Kim. Grace - Grace was sweet and did her best with my pedicure. Came out ok but it took her an hour to do a gel pedicure.. my feet weren't bad for it to take that long. Kim - Kim started doing my nails as I sat getting my pedicure. Again, my first time. You'd think they'd plan properly so that I'm not having my hands in the air while getting a pedicure (I hate that). First picture is the design I wanted but I told Kim I wanted a coffin shape. Not only did I not get the coffin shape, I also didn't get the design I wanted because it looked like a child painted my nail design. Tina had to take over & fill in the tips because I just wanted to leave at this point. It was 8PM! The 2nd picture is what I ended up leaving with. I could've just bought press on nails & it would've looked the same if not, better. I've never been so annoyed and unsatisfied with my service. To make matters worse, the total after this terrible experience was $125.. for what exactly? Wasted time, frustration? I spoke to the Manager, Adrianna and $15 later I still ended up paying $110. It's a JOKE! I feel robbed. The money isn't the issue because I pay & tip properly WHEN THE SERVICE is done correctly. I had worries about even coming here & I guess I wasn't wrong. I'll stick to PURITY NAIL BAR from now on since they seem to get it right the first time. Super disappointing. Advice to management - put customers with your nail techs who know how to actually do the design they request. You're wasting everyone's time & patience putting them with a nail tech who isn't experienced enough. They take such good care of me, never cutting my skin or causing pain. Sometimes there is a lack of communication between staff when there is a walk in so you might not get to pick your colors or have to re explain yourself a bit. It's a little pricey in my opinion but worth it compared to the horrible service at other places. $41 pedicure was amazing! They really took care and had attention to detail, working on my problem spots and not rushing through it $40ish gel manicure included a keratin glove that personally didn't help me much as my hands are already soft. I've stuck to getting a $31 gel polish change instead. For regular manicures they have an $8 addition for a type of nail polish that dries faster, I think that is not worth it and the regular OPI and essie polishes are the same quality. Loved this salon! Normally I do dip or gel, but today I was feeling like just getting a basic manicure. Grace did a fantastic job. The whole salon felt very safe and clean. They had us actually wash our hands before even sitting down. All the massage chairs were clean, plastic wrapped, and every technician wore a K95 and wore gloves the whole time. Before making any cuts or doing anything, Grace asked me before hand which was very considerate. A small detail that I actually loved was the fact that their nail dryers are overlooking Newbury street and they have a little Google home that plays meditative music. It was really relaxing drying my nails and people watching. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

My second time here and I have to say I'm very disappointed with the quality of work. They scheduled me with Kim for gel manicure and removing dip powder. After removing my dip powder, mostly with the machine, my nails looked uneven with marks on them from the machine. I have never had this issue after removing dip powder. I came in with long natural nails and wanted them slightly shorter and shaped. I ended up getting different lengths and shapes on each nail. It wasn't uniform at all. And lastly the gel polish was not put on well. The corners were not clean and I had a piece chip off just less than a day later. Unlikely to go back here again and certainly will make sure to get a different tech if I do. read more
