    THE MOVE PROS ruined my  Italian Leather Couch ( dents )  The Owner of MOVE PROS refused to pay for damages

    TERRIBLE - The Move Pros ruined my Italian Leather furniture & black dresser & I have tears & dents & black smudges all over my beautiful Italian Leather Sofa ...My black dresser has a big chunck of wood missing from corner, they forgot to wrap corners of my dresser...then proceeded to slide a dolly under it ....& taking it down my stairs ....I stopped them & said NO carry it down the stairs ....no dolly ...The guys were nice but NOT Professional...they ruined my furniture. One guy was on his phone the entire time while the other guy spent over an hour taking apart my bed... The MOVE PRO Company is terrible ...& do NOT stand behind their name...as I called the owner of MOVE PROS the next day after they ruined my furniture ...stating the facts & requesting their Insurance Information to fix the damages ...the owner Refused to give me their Insurance Company Name... This leads me to believe they dont have Insurance ...I have formally managed law firms for 30 years ..& Im pursuing LEGAL Actions for the damages caused to my furniture.. These guys only had to move a few pieces of my furniture from my home to my storage unit 10 minutes up the road....& managed to ruin my Italian Leather Couch & my dresser... Thankfully ..I took pictures of all my furniture 2 days before my move...with a receipt... My 4 girlfriends were their at my home to witness the damages & were constantly telling one guy to stay off his phone... I would stay away from this Un~Professional Moving Company

    CAUTION!!!! (DO NOT IGNORE) ONLY WAY TO HAVE YOUR REVIEW POSTED YOU HAVE TO GIVE A STAR. Let me start off by saying YES...reviews can be deceiving! Before you hired MOVE PROS company or any moving company, PLEASE do your homework! I hired Move Pros May 14 2021 it was the worst DECISION I could ever make. The guys arrived on time (Great) 8:45 the move time was @ 10a this is when the nightmare began. I moved from a one bdrm apt. (Keep this in mind) to another one bdrm apt I always have my boxes packed before moving it makes the move faster. During the move my furniture (sectional) had the furniture just a YEAR turned a year Feb 2021 now it IS ruined the (Movers) literally had HELL getting my sectional out the door, at one point they had the sectional standing straight up because they could not figure OUT how to get the sectional out the door. Here's what happen: Both pieces of the sectional damaged, there's a cut on the back of one end, well as it being torn all around the bottom and the arms has scrape makes on both the Left and Right arms. The damage is all alone the edges from them trying to push it through the door (Pictures are available). I reached out to Tom (I assume the owner) spoke to him several times, NOT ONCE DID HE EVER REACH OUT TO ME, He said (and Quote) David said he was going to call and speak with you about this, Tom said He had a person who can fix my sectional he would have the guy come out to look at NOT to worry He will get my sectional fixed (All of this took place in May -June to THIS DAY STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM TOM NOR IS MY SECTIONAL FIXED AGAIN, THIS HAS LITERALLY BEEN A NIGHTMARE. TO ANYONE WHOSE THINKING ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR HOMEWORK...YES, THE COMPANY HAS A 5 STAR RATING ON GOOGLE, THE END DECISION IS YOUR ON WHO YOU CHOSE, JUST DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE JUMPING OUT THERE. I'M NOT THE FIRST PERSON MOVE PROS HAS DONE THIS TO.

    Moving Day- 11/2/18 Moving from TX to TN - One Bedroom Apartment- The job was to load UHAUL truck. Quote- Flat rate of $250. Arrival window given of 3-4pm Julius and Chris arrive LATE and with contract that shows a Fuel Surcharge of $25- not part of the deal but need help moving so I agree to pay Fuel Surcharge even though the job was to load OUR Uhaul truck. I was clear with Tom (who yelled and cussed at my husband on the phone after we notified him of the damaged washer, dryer and mirrored dresser) that my washer and dryer were main priority. Well the washer and dryer were not loaded professionally on the truck. They were loaded in the middle of the truck with items stacked on top. The washer and dryer were of course dented in the process. I contacted Tom and Michelle and Tom said he refused liability and that he stands by his professionals. I have learned many lessons by hiring this company. Lesson #1- Have Tom send contract right away to ensure no hidden fees Lesson #2- Have a backup moving crew in case "The Move Pros" show up late Lesson #3- Demand and observe that all items are loaded correctly to ensure no dents or damage to very expensive appliances. Don't trust this company to have common sense when loading. Lesson #4- NO ONE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR ITEMS LIKE YOU- I was too nice and tipped too much money to have my items ruined- I should have watched their every move and asked why they were not protecting my items. Lesson #5- I will never use this company again or recommend to anyone.

    ***** STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE MOVE PROS !!!! ***** We chose The Move Pros because of their rating, not knowing and experiencing that they beg for you to give them a 5-star rating all during the move. We have damaged paint/walls, a scratched/dented stainless fridge and they tracked paint all through our old house which we had to clean up ourselves. We tried to hold back full payment, but were promised Tom would make it right. Tom agreed offered on the phone to $500 and to have someone come out and repair walls, but when we agreed he said it was now out of his hands and said we had to go to claims. We reached out to Brittany and thought we would finally get stuff done. Filled in forms and sent them in 7/8 only to find out 7/19 she sent us the "Military-related Relocations Only" forms instead of the correct forms. We filled out the right forms and sent them in 7/28. Received Emails back stating 7/29: "Thank you so much for this! I will follow-up with the next steps after calculating the total damage claim. You should expect to receive an email again from me early next week. I'll reach out if I have any questions relating to your case." After our email to check on our claim, on 8/15 we got: "I am waiting on the final approval for your compensation to clear with my advisor, I am preparing your resolution paperwork this afternoon. I'm expecting to receive a confirmation for your compensation this afternoon; my goal is to send over your final paperwork tomorrow for your review. Thank you so much for your patience, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions." We sent follow up Emails on 8/15, 8/19, 8/26 and 9/17 had not have not heard a word back. THIS IS THE TRUE COMPANY YOU ARE ABOUT TO HIRE !!!! Once they get your money, you don't matter to them !!! They will talk a big game and you think they are great people, but experience showed us is all just TALK !!! When you book a full-service move, you would expect them to have at least some different size boxes, a wardrobe box or even a good set tools if they need them. They did not. They had to use my drill and tools. I even had to take off the doors off our fridge and put them back on at the new place. I can't claim anything for the TV they broke because when we booked online, it says in the fine print you have to have original boxes for the TV (which we didn't) for them to move them. Our head mover said they would move them and he promised they would be careful with them. This company is nothing but talk. Looking back, we should have gone with the other company we were considering.

    Disappointed in the communication provided. I had scheduled and confirmed my move for later in the afternoon on a Sunday. When moving day came, I got a call from the movers almost 2 hours early that they are on their way. This would have been fine with a little advanced notice. I explained it would be an hour before I could make it. Apparently, this wouldn't work so they said they would call back. Instead, I spent a better part of the day trying to coordinate the move time and get a response. I had to call and make the initiative to get any type of response. My move time came and went without any information. After several texts back and forth saying someone would call, I finally got a call later in the evening that they could come out next day if I wanted. As I had other obligations, I declined. Moving is never fun. However, I had expected better service based on other reviews. I hope the business can learn from this review to schedule accordingly, communicate any changes as soon as possible, and make sure to follow up when you say you will. Corrected the time prior to move. Regardless, this just shows the level of unprofessionalism and lack of record keeping. As shown in the texts, the move was scheduled for 7/10 between 3 and 4 for 3 man crew. A mistake was made; they happen from time to time. Understand that this should have been addressed in a more appropriate manner the day of the move. Learn from your mistakes. You are right - you didnt move me. When i called and asked if you hired your own employees, you assured me you did. No time did you tell me the move was being done by another company, as shown by the texts. I was caught by complete surprise going back and forth between two companies who had no idea of what they were doing. If you schedule a move, do it yourself or let the customer know it is being sub'd out. I would have never scheduled with you if i knew it was being sub'd out.

I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.

The movers finished the job (was a small job of just appliances and 1 couch set/dining hutch) and gave us a whole $120 refund on our bill (the amount equaled the overcharge on time) on a 1 year old $700 dryer. I called and left a message for Rose right away and did not get a call back for 4 days. I explained what happened and the language used, she assured me she would talk with them and asked that I send pictures. I asked if she had already seen pictures as the lead mover took some with his phone and she said no, I should have know how things would go from there.The move date was July 13th and I have yet to hear back from her. I would not at all recommend this company and am thankful we did not have them move more of our items. Omar filled in the details of the job to get us the right crew, and got us scheduled for the very next morning. Lorenzo and his team showed up early, communicated clearly, and holy wow did they work fast. In less than 90 minutes they moved what took our team 6 hours to do. AND they moved a fireproof safe by hand, with sheet strength and a good knowledge of physics. The cherry on top is the value - super-fair, plus a discount for booking through Yelp. Need anything moved, call them!

    I used Integrity moving for a long distance move from DFW to Galveston in March 2025. I worked with…read morethe owners (Blake) wife and was confident that I could trust his company. In the beginning the communication was just ok but I figured he was just busy so I didn't worry about it. Blake personally came to my home to give me an estimate, he was very cordial and I got a good feeling about him and his company. I was provided a written estimate $5400 and decided to go with his company. The day prior to the move he and his crew showed up to pack up the trucks, they left a few things so we had a place to sleep and planned on an early arrival the next morning to pack the final few things and get on the road. They were over an hour late but when they finally arrived we got on the road quickly. Blake was supposed to be there but was absent due to a sick child. The head of the moving crew was Ronnie and he was very kind and on top of things. The move went great, they worked quickly and got everything set up, or so I thought. That night when I went to bed something was wrong with the bed. After flipping the bed over I discovered they had taken the legs off the bed to get it in the room and didn't put the bed back together properly and the bed broke. This is an expensive adjustable bed. I reached out to Blake the next morning and he said they would get right on it. That was March 21,2025 and today is June 13, 2025 and nothing has been resolved. Blake passed on the issue to Ronnie and he initially tried to resolve the issue however I was not satisfied with the offer of $250 to replace a bed that cost in excess of $1000. There have been a multitude of texts back and forth and nothing has been resolved. There have been promises made of a replacement of a much cheaper bed frame that I agreed to accept but still as of this date no resolution has happened. 10 days ago I reached out to Blake and he was under the impression it had been resolved and assured me he would have the bed shipped out that week to me. As of today still nothing. I have requested updates and he has not responded . Due to their lack of follow through I can't recommend this company for your moving needs. Don't let their kindness fool you. in order to resolve this issues I will now have to take him to small claims court, which just stinks to have to go that route.
