Wow, these are the guys to call! We had a bunch of arcade machines to move, including one 970lb Dance Dance Revolution machine up a spiral staircase in our home. They showed up with 4 beefy dudes and hauled all three machines upstairs in less than 15 minutes without a scratch to anyone or anything. I couldn't even open my eyes to watch as they lugged that ginormous dance machine upstairs, but they were careful and didn't hit the wall or anything. Tom was very friendly and showed up when he said he was going to. I would hire these guys for sure for any future move, and considering how much my fiance loves accumulating arcade machines...I'm sure we will hire them again soon! read more

Take my advice and never use the MovePros. Tom accepts zero accountability and as soon as he gets your money he won't talk to you. He showed up with a 28' trailer and I ended up having to get a U-Haul 20' to get all my stuff in. He missed the size of my move by 100%. Basically said oh well. They will break your stuff, lose your stuff, deliver stuff to you that wasn't yours, and then refuse to address the items that were broken or lost. They won't return your calls once they are paid nor answer your emails. Tom won't tell you when the owner will contact you or how to reach him. The office number goes straight to Tom, but Tom tells you to call the office. So not only am I out thousands of dollars for the move but thousands more for all the damages. Avoid these guys at all costs. They haven't had a positive review in 6 years! Idk how I made the mistake. Using this company was bad from start to finish. The movers arrived 3 hours later than the reserved time. Naturally I asked if everything was okay while we were waiting. The guy on the phone became irritated, condescending, and told me we just had to deal with it. No ownership, no attempt to make things right. His movers then milked the clock, moving extremely slow. I was quoted a 3-4 hour job with drive time and it took them over 6 hours. Being that they were 3 hours late I ended up with two random men putting my kids bed together at 10pm. That's not normal or good business. Because they did everything so slowly I was charged significantly more, about 40% more, than the quote he originally gave me. These were just a couple things, I could tell more stories of the unnecessary stress that Move Pros caused with no apology or attempt to be helpful. TERRIBLE - The Move Pros ruined my Italian Leather furniture & black dresser & I have tears & dents & black smudges all over my beautiful Italian Leather Sofa ...My black dresser has a big chunck of wood missing from corner, they forgot to wrap corners of my dresser...then proceeded to slide a dolly under it ....& taking it down my stairs ....I stopped them & said NO carry it down the stairs ....no dolly ...The guys were nice but NOT Professional...they ruined my furniture. One guy was on his phone the entire time while the other guy spent over an hour taking apart my bed... The MOVE PRO Company is terrible ...& do NOT stand behind their name...as I called the owner of MOVE PROS the next day after they ruined my furniture ...stating the facts & requesting their Insurance Information to fix the damages ...the owner Refused to give me their Insurance Company Name... This leads me to believe they dont have Insurance ...I have formally managed law firms for 30 years ..& Im pursuing LEGAL Actions for the damages caused to my furniture.. Buyer beware!! I hired "The Move Pros" based on their good website reviews. I should've dug deeper. We moved Saturday, 9/3/22. Houses were 5 miles apart. 2,600 square foot house - 4 bedrooms plus a study. Packers packed the house & garage prior to the move. Tom's Team of 4 grown men took over 13 hours to move us!!! $225/hour x 13 hours = $2,925 plus $50 fee + $75 gas = $3,050. This after I had already paid Tom over $1,500 on Thursday to pack the house. During the move my furniture (sectional) had the furniture just a YEAR turned a year Feb 2021 now it IS ruined the (Movers) literally had HELL getting my sectional out the door, at one point they had the sectional standing straight up because they could not figure OUT how to get the sectional out the door. Here's what happen: Both pieces of the sectional damaged, there's a cut on the back of one end, well as it being torn all around the bottom and the arms has scrape makes on both the Left and Right arms. The damage is all alone the edges from them trying to push it through the door (Pictures are available). I reached out to Tom (I assume the owner) spoke to him several times, NOT ONCE DID HE EVER REACH OUT TO ME, He said (and Quote) David said he was going to call and speak with you about this, Tom said He had a person who can fix my sectional he would have the guy come out to look at NOT to worry He will get my sectional fixed (All of this took place in May -June to THIS DAY STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM TOM NOR IS MY SECTIONAL FIXED AGAIN, THIS HAS LITERALLY BEEN A NIGHTMARE. Moving Day- 11/2/18 Moving from TX to TN - One Bedroom Apartment- The job was to load UHAUL truck. Quote- Flat rate of $250. Arrival window given of 3-4pm Julius and Chris arrive LATE and with contract that shows a Fuel Surcharge of $25- not part of the deal but need help moving so I agree to pay Fuel Surcharge even though the job was to load OUR Uhaul truck. I was clear with Tom (who yelled and cussed at my husband on the phone after we notified him of the damaged washer, dryer and mirrored dresser) that my washer and dryer were main priority. Well the washer and dryer were not loaded professionally on the truck. They were loaded in the middle of the truck with items stacked on top. The washer and dryer were of course dented in the process. I contacted Tom and Michelle and Tom said he refused liability and that he stands by his professionals. I have learned many lessons by hiring this company. Lesson #1- Have Tom send contract right away to ensure no hidden fees Lesson #2- Have a backup moving crew in case "The Move Pros" show up late Lesson #3- Demand and observe that all items are loaded correctly to ensure no dents or damage to very expensive appliances. Don't trust this company to have common sense when loading. Horrible company that does not care about your property. They do not protect any piece of furniture even when they claim they will. They ran our newly refinished antique dining table into the walls of our home and then scratched it up even more in the storage unit. They ran our nice expensive Samsung fridge into the doorway and then stored things against it that caused scratches, scuffs, and additional damage. Just about every piece of furniture is damaged. The supposedly pack and move televisions. We have seen one tv this far that was pinned screen side into a dressers drawer handles and the bottom of the TV unprotected and scratched to heck from being drug on the concrete. Couches fabric side down, unprotected, on the concrete. Couch cushions covered in gray sticky residue. Outside patio furniture covered in dirt, hair, etc thrown onto unprotected indoor light colored fabric covered furniture. Paid around $5k for what amounts to kindergarten kids moving your furniture. If I could give negative I would. I will start by saying my husband and I were grateful that they were able to fit us in on a short notice. But all that quickly changed. I will also say, I was 30 minutes-life happens, right? Brandon and the other gentleman were nothing short of amazing and helpful. The other man, Tim, I wouldn't ever trust him with any of my things ever again. Not only was he rough with our belongings, he was extremely unprofessional. Talking about women in a derogatory manner, stating how much customers normally tip him, and to top it off told me in front of my husband "you're lucky he's here because we don't move single women"... umm what??? It took them 9 hours to move us, and cost me over $2000. Now, I understand moving is annoying and can be pricey but I've moved several time with various moving companies and have NEVER had it take that long or cost that much. Once my husband and I finally were able to unpack, we noticed several things broken. So we started the claims process. It took over a week for their claims person to even contact us so that we could make our initial statement. After that, we scheduled our examination of our damages. We confirmed our day and time with Brittany Stephens on two different occasions, to be met with a no call, no show on the day off. It took another two days for us to be contact again despite our efforts of reaching out to Brittany via all possible forms of communication. I finally received a call from a person named Ed (which I find odd if he's a mover), for him to tell me that he had been out of town for the past three days- that's strange because we were on the confirmed schedule... As I was trying to talk, he continuously talking over me proceeded to tell me to "f***ing call claims and cancel then" and hung up on me. Myself and my husband tried calling the number he called me from as well as Brittany Stephens to gain some sort of understanding for this behavior and get our claim taken care of. All for us to be ignored again for another two days. We responded to Brittany's email, simply asking for a phone call from her as well as someone in management of this "company" to give us a call so that we can address all of our concerns and issues... For us to still not have any kind of communication from anyone in now over a week. Resolution: To be treated like a human and have our belongings replaced- those that actually can be. Never again will I not use my normal movers. Lesson learned. In response to the "owner": I'm sorry what? My issue has NOTHING to do with the cost of having to move. I work in the customer service industry, and I would NEVER falsely accuse anyone. If you would like to see emails, please let me know. If you're phone calls are recorded like they should be- pull your calls and you will see that my husband or I never spoke rudely, or with any sort of foul language like we were met with. The way we spoke to you, your staff and claims staff was with concern and frustration, again never once with curse words or anything else of the sort unlike how we were met. Personal insults?? You mean the ones you staff said to me in front of our daughter?? Everything I have stated is nothing but the truth so help me God. ***** STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE MOVE PROS !!!! ***** We chose The Move Pros because of their rating, not knowing and experiencing that they beg for you to give them a 5-star rating all during the move. We have damaged paint/walls, a scratched/dented stainless fridge and they tracked paint all through our old house which we had to clean up ourselves. We tried to hold back full payment, but were promised Tom would make it right. Tom agreed offered on the phone to $500 and to have someone come out and repair walls, but when we agreed he said it was now out of his hands and said we had to go to claims. We reached out to Brittany and thought we would finally get stuff done. Filled in forms and sent them in 7/8 only to find out 7/19 she sent us the "Military-related Relocations Only" forms instead of the correct forms. We filled out the right forms and sent them in 7/28. Received Emails back stating 7/29: "Thank you so much for this! I will follow-up with the next steps after calculating the total damage claim. You should expect to receive an email again from me early next week. I'll reach out if I have any questions relating to your case." After our email to check on our claim, on 8/15 we got: "I am waiting on the final approval for your compensation to clear with my advisor, I am preparing your resolution paperwork this afternoon. I'm expecting to receive a confirmation for your compensation this afternoon; my goal is to send over your final paperwork tomorrow for your review. Thank you so much for your patience, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions." We sent follow up Emails on 8/15, 8/19, 8/26 and 9/17 had not have not heard a word back. THIS IS THE TRUE COMPANY YOU ARE ABOUT TO HIRE !!!! Once they get your money, you don't matter to them !!! They will talk a big game and you think they are great people, but experience showed us is all just TALK !!! When you book a full-service move, you would expect them to have at least some different size boxes, a wardrobe box or even a good set tools if they need them. They did not. They had to use my drill and tools. I even had to take off the doors off our fridge and put them back on at the new place. I can't claim anything for the TV they broke because when we booked online, it says in the fine print you have to have original boxes for the TV (which we didn't) for them to move them. Disappointed in the communication provided. I had scheduled and confirmed my move for later in the afternoon on a Sunday. When moving day came, I got a call from the movers almost 2 hours early that they are on their way. This would have been fine with a little advanced notice. I explained it would be an hour before I could make it. Apparently, this wouldn't work so they said they would call back. Instead, I spent a better part of the day trying to coordinate the move time and get a response. I had to call and make the initiative to get any type of response. My move time came and went without any information. After several texts back and forth saying someone would call, I finally got a call later in the evening that they could come out next day if I wanted. As I had other obligations, I declined. Moving is never fun. However, I had expected better service based on other reviews. I hope the business can learn from this review to schedule accordingly, communicate any changes as soon as possible, and make sure to follow up when you say you will. Corrected the time prior to move. Regardless, this just shows the level of unprofessionalism and lack of record keeping. As shown in the texts, the move was scheduled for 7/10 between 3 and 4 for 3 man crew. A mistake was made; they happen from time to time. Understand that this should have been addressed in a more appropriate manner the day of the move. Learn from your mistakes. You are right - you didnt move me. When i called and asked if you hired your own employees, you assured me you did. No time did you tell me the move was being done by another company, as shown by the texts. I was caught by complete surprise going back and forth between two companies who had no idea of what they were doing. I hired this company last Thursday. Everything was great- on time, nice over the phone, and a good price. However, they left some scratches on the footboard of my bed. I texted Tom the next day and sent photos. He proceeded to say that the scratches look like my dogs did it. However, the dogs never had access to the bedroom nor were the scratches there before the move. He didn't seem to be concerned whatsoever, kept blaming my dogs, he didn't even apologize.. maybe he didn't notice it when it happened. I don't know- but all I know is that those scratches weren't there before. So then I told him that I'll just go ahead and write a review to reflect this service.. the fact that he kept blaming my dogs- again, they NEVER went into the bedroom the first and second day of our move. Then he proceeded to text my boyfriend and said "I am talking to you because you are the man..." Then said "as a courtesy I can send someone out there to fix it" So why didn't he just say that from the beginning??? Then he continued to text my boyfriend and say that women are manipulative and try to get their way... did he not think that my boyfriend would tell me all that he is saying? Then he said "I live a Christian life"--yeah okay, but you can't talk to me because I'm a woman. If I am saying that my dogs DID NOT scratch up my bed because 1. They're trained adults 2. They were outside the whole time, then you should maybe it did happen under your watch? And instead of making a huge deal about me being a woman and going to my boyfriend- you could have just said "I'm so sorry, I don't think we did that, however, I will send someone out to take a look" I cannot believe he told my boyfriend "I'm going to talk to you about this because you're the man" Who do you think plans these types of moves?? Arrived on time. Got to work after reviewing the home and came up with a plan. They moved a little slow but not terribly concerning. They drove in two separate vehicles to my home and one of the vehicles went to the wrong address with their crew so I had half the crew moving my stuff until the others showed up. Took them an extra twenty minutes to finally arrive until I had a full crew again. Sadly they went over by 15 minutes and they charged me an entire hour extra even though they delayed the unpacking by going to the wrong address and took twenty minutes to arrive. That time should have been a wash for me. A few minor scratches here and there on my items but overall better than I could have done myself. read more

The moving event okay and the movers worked hard to get the job done. I even gave them a tip. I have a problem with the manager or the guy in charge named Steve. He's the one who first communicated with me regarding the move. I have texted and called him numerous time asking him to give me my receipt so I can keep it for tax deduction. A customer should not have to keep asking for the receipt. Everytime I call he acts clueless, and blames it on some "girls" in the office. Update! Be sure to read the customer alert below! Every single word a lie. Perhaps he got confused with another customer. Just a few of the lies: the house is 3100 sq ft. ALL the boxes were ours in our attic, we never asked to box the little items laying around upstairs ... it was an hour later when I realized they packed some items upstairs with OUR boxes and OUR tape! They did use their shrink wrap for some items. He offered the "free" truck before the day of move, never actually needed it, WE moved the garage two days later lol, nope, one trailer was 3/4 full the other maybe 1/4, here's the kicker... we were laughing with the guys when we did talk to them... we were busy cleaning and packing barely spoke to guys until I asked them why they were walking up -down the driveway instead of driving truck down, they (the workers) said Tom told them not to.. they were SO appreciative that I got Tom to have them drive the trailer down the driveway. They were SO happy they didn't have to walk up and down the hill/driveway! Furthermore, they gave me their number and we texted that night because I GAVE them furniture we did not want..if we were so rude and pushy they would never have given me their number nor would they have been so appreciative for the free items we gave them, or thank me over and over for getting the truck pulled down. lastly, I did not become irate, I actually laughed and handed the phone to my brother cause I couldn't deal with the nonsense he was saying. Ask his employees Brandon, Ronnie, Julius etc. they complained about Tom the whole time and agreed walking up and down driveway was ridiculous. We never said or did half the things he said. The fuel stop... we never got gas lol never even got out of the car. We did not demand that they follow us, we asked... made sense since the new house street is NOT yet on a map! Do not use this moving company! I read all of the great reviews, and I really liked Tom when I called about getting a quote. That call was very professional, and he seemed like customer satisfaction was of the upmost importance. So it was a no brainer to select this moving company. Ok, so the day of the move they came on time and ready to work. However, only one person was wearing a mask, and it was a three-man crew. Therefore, I asked them to wear a mask and I offered them a mask that were brand new and I opened the mask in front of them. One said that he was a vet and had the both doses of the vaccine, and the other said that he was not vaccinated and he would be happy to wear a mask. However, he only wore the mask for a few minutes, and then he took it off. I kept asking him to wear the mask. He just refused. I called to tell Tom, and he said that Gov. Abbott said that masks were no longer required. I told him that Gov. Abbott cannot order anything on private property! Ok, so the move was also terrible. They were so slow! I gave a detailed inventory list about what I needed moved so that I could get an accurate quote. Tom told me 4-5 hours max. The move took 7 hours. Also, it took them 25-30 minutes to get to the drop off location when it was only 10 minutes away from the pick up location. The driver claimed traffic issues, but there was no traffic. Lastly, the movers broke my floor lamp with shelves, scratched my washer, broke my desk, and did not hook the washer or dryer. My fiancé was able to fix the desk, and Tom said that he would only replace the lamp. I am still waiting for the replacement. I'm very doubtful that I will ever see the replacement. This was the worst moving company that I have ever used. Then, they wanted me to Zelle the money to a person which I found odd! It made me wonder about tax fraud! But I should not speculate. This is just unprofessional. Use MUSTANG MOVERS! I have used them several times without any issues. I could not use them this time because they were booked up two weeks before I wanted to move. I wasn't going to leave a review until my situation was finished. I cannot wait until then. I asked him today to return my broken bed that he said he'd have fixed. He blew me and my son off. Nothing new. He's had over four months to repair it. (Luckily, Restoration 1 has my bed now and he will fix it and have it returned in a few days. Thank You Mr. Lambeth! I know Tom said he'd have it fixed for you but he couldn't even do that for me or you. Lies after lies.) This owner is rude AND dishonest. I've been dealing with his company since before Christmas 2016. During my flood he and his crew were very nice and helped me get my house packed and moved into storage. But his true colors have come through loud and clear in the last 6 weeks. He lost my computer and a huge box of family crystal and vintage glassware. He accused me of having it in my garage. I was adamant in return. What do you know, a week later he found my things in his warehouse. He offered no explanation whatsoever. His company has lost, broken or ruined so many of my things. I have photographs and documentation and will be expecting full reimbursement. He's made thousands of dollars off my insurance company and they are aware of his actions plus the Consumer Alert on this Yelp review page. He always says "I'm going to make you whole again". But then he turns around and says "I can't fit you in" my schedule. His favorite line is "on point". Ha, that's a joke!! He has promised me dates and times and been many hours late or even stood me up with no communication. Look at his real reviews. Negatives. Ashley is his daughter and wrote a fake review. Mary is not a real review. She works for him, too. I don't trust anyone affiliated with Move Pros anymore. He texted me saying he was DONE WITH ME and I HAVE ISSUES since I only gave him 1 star. I can't wait to see what he writes back about me since he attacks anyone who tells the truth about him. His phony game is going to back fire on him. Karma comes around. read more

These guys are awesome... I had a little anxiety about moving but they came in and was so nice and peaceful that it made me calm about having to move. They were professional and courteous at all times. They even corrected my bed that had been assembled wrong by the previous delivery guy. These guys are awesome and work really hard. Although I don't look forward to moving again, when it's time, I will definitely be giving these guys a call. No hidden fees or crazy charges. Thanks guys for your hard work! read more

We used The Move Pros again this year for our move from Dallas to Fort Worth. They were once again wonderful! They were very professional, on time, and we appreciated all of their help :) Tom is very friendly and always flexible with scheduling, which was a lifesaver Just finished a move with Tom and Brandon! Our move was late-notice and they were able to schedule us in perfectly! Very impressed... They charge a great rate and a low mileage fee especially when compared to other companies in the area. I appreciated that everything was up front and they were very trustworthy all the way around. Both Tom and Brandon were extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with. I used Tom today to move my apartment to my house. There are a few reasons I chose Tom. 1. He called me back which I appreciated. 2. He wasn't concerned at all about my small move and gave me a fair quote. 3. He was friendly and personable on the phone. He texted the confirmation to me and sent a follow up text before the move. On the day of the move, he showed up on time and went straight to work. He and Julius were orderly, efficient and did a great job packing my clothes up. I won't give away his secret, but it's pretty ingenious!!! Tom continued to be friendly and helpful throughout the move and he really enjoys his work. Well lets start this out with I wish I could give them zero stars. His company moved me back in December 2016. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible moving company. They came a few days and packed up my stuff. His daughter, Ashley was in charge of the people packing. She had personal problems with her daughter's father. So I told her to go ahead and go take care of it. She did. Then I was still billed for her time. When she was there packing she was always on her phone. Then I told Tom, the owner about this and that I should not be billed for her time. It took a lot to get him to take the time off of my bill. Then we moved and it took a LONG TIME! Charged me tons of money. My things went to storage for almost a week. When they came to move me in my new home, one of his movers broke some of my dishes and my TV stand. I told him about this and he said he would reimburse me for them. He didn't! Later when I asked him to bring me a new TV stand he said that he thought that he had done enough for me since he took his daughter's time off the bill that she didn't work. Then when I started unpacking my things I was missing quite a bit of stuff. One item was a new Louis Vuitton purse that cost me $2,000. Also, a bunch of crystal and nice things. He is a liar and a cheat. Do not use him. As you can see from some of the other reviews that I am not the only one he has done this too. I believe in supporting local business. Booking was super easy. Tom confirmed date, time and rate by text. Moving can be crazy and there are plenty of opportunities for bumps in the road. Extremely pleased with quick and courteous service! I only chose to have five appliances moved to the new house next door, but Tom gave up his lunch hour to come help on only three hours notice. Highly recommended!! read more
