Brandon and his guys were amazing. I don't like to move, but they almost made it enjoyable. The price was great too. Paul read more

I called and got a voicemail so I decided to go online and request a quote. Rather than call me or reply to my email address that I gave, they started sending me text messages. No phone call, no email. Just text messages. Incredibly unprofessional and not appropriate. Business standard is to call and email. I did not authorize them to send me repeat text messages. read more

I moved from dallas to Austin and my friend referred me to tom & jerry. Honestly I thought I couldn't afford a mover but these guys were reasonable and fair. No problems with the moving. No damage to any items and the guys were really nice and clean. Simple, professional and cost affective service. highly recommended. read more

I'm a local Realtor(R). When my clients ask for a moving referral, Tom & Jerry is whom I always recommend. Their prices are fair and most of all, you can count on them. I've personally witness how much care they take in moving (espcially into the new home) with covers, plastics so the new house doesn't get dinged. Great job, Tom & Jerry! read more

Had a mostly good experience with Tom & Jerry Moving. When I first contacted them, the owner got back to me quickly and maintained good communication. After a little back and forth, I got a good flat rate quoted for my move. The day of the move, the guys showed up a tad late (only 40 minutes or so, but called ahead), which is to be expected. They came with a huge truck, were nice the whole time and worked efficiently and quickly. The whole move took about 4 hours or so for a one-bedroom apartment moving a half-mile away. A couple small negatives are the reason I didn't give them five stars. For one, the guy who took my money was kind of guilt-tripping me a couple times because they technically worked more than what I paid. (It's a flat rate, so there should be no haggling; plus, I worked my butt off helping them the whole time.) Secondly, a few items had some dings and we're missing a box or two. But compared to other movers I've dealt with in the past, Tom & Jerry is one of the best, so I recommend them. read more

I recently used Tom and Jerry for a cross town move. They provided great service prior to the move, updating me on arrival time and double checking the size of the truck. I had a small amount of items, but they were very efficient and friendly. They even took extra time to get my box spring up the stair well (my bad for not measuring), and wanted to make sure it was a job well done. Bonus points for going out to the truck to get a wrench to tighten a screw on a chair leg that was already loose before the move. I will definitely use Tom and Jerry again for my moving needs. read more

* Punctual * Polite * Professional Made for an extremely positive move. Highly recommend. read more

My wife and I were moving from our 4th story apartment to a 2-story house. After doing some research, based on the reviews on Yelp and other sites, I ended up going with Tom & Jerry Moving. In addition to good reviews, they were available for a Sunday move which we needed. I got a quote from the owner, Brandon, in a 24 hour turn-around which I would consider a little slower than average, but to be fair, they don't have a receptionist to pay for so you do get a better compared to others. The day of the move overall went well. Brandon was communicative and flexible to start an hour later than scheduled to get past the rain. Brandon, along with two helpers, got started quickly as we already had everything boxed and the furniture plastic wrapped (not my first move), so nothing to do but load the truck. Nothing was damaged in the move and the guys were extremely friendly. My biggest complaint is the amount of time it took. We had the same furniture, TVs, and number of boxes when we moved in, yet this move took twice as long as when we moved into the apartment (which included a stop at a storage unit). The movers were just not as efficient as the 3 movers would all be done loading the truck as opposed to one or two loading the truck and the other shuffling furniture from the apartment to the freight elevator to keep it in constant motion (which was done by the move-in movers). Also, please be aware that a moving company in Texas is, by law, required to be registered by the state to ensure companies comply with insurance and safety laws. Tom and Jerry Moving is NOT registered. If this is important to you, look elsewhere. https://apps.txdmv.gov/apps/mccs/truckstop/ read more

WOW. These guys are GREAT. The communication was excellent from the get-go. The guys, Brandon and Justen, were professional and polite. They were on time and efficient. They worked steadily, capably and knowledgeably. We had only one bedroom to move from Austin to Dallas. They arrived around 9 AM and got right after it. My husband commented that they were 'stellar' in their operation. You know how some movers can be pretty creepy, well these guys are NOT. We had a great amount of trust that they would do a great job for us, and we were correct in our assumption. I really enjoyed these guys. Give them a try, you won't be sorry. read more

I called at least 5 movers. All were competitively priced. Which do I chose? When I called Tom & Jerry the (very polite) Tom answered all of my questions. He was helpful, and even reassured me that while many movers might be priced around the same amount, his company would do a great job and take care of my stuff. Good thing he was right! Moving day is stressful. For everyone. Especially when you are moving long distance and have only one shot to do it right. My electricity was shut off a day early. In June. In Texas. Aka 100 degree weather. I had thought I reserved a 16 foot truck. When I arrived at the truck rental, it seems I chose a 12 foot. Oops. Can all of my stuff fit it there? Tom & Jerry Movers to the rescue! The movers arrived promptly, and started working right away. Both the movers and myself were skeptical that all of my stuff would fit in the truck. After my major furniture was loaded, (down 4 flights of stairs mind you) I was really starting to worry. There's no way I was going to fit the 30 random boxes and other miscellaneous items along with the furniture, in the truck that was too small. I was starting to mentally decide what belongings I would have to abandon. Bye Bye bike. So long reclining chair. When I headed downstairs, I was amazed.. I repeat, AMAZED that the movers fit everything into the truck. They fandangled and tetris-ed everything in. I was certain that it wouldn't all fit. And somehow they managed. I was beyond grateful. The movers were quick and efficient, and didn't damage any of my belongings. They even gave us pointers on how to properly drive the moving truck. Much kudos to Tom & Jerry Movers. Highly Recommended. Oh, and did I mention that they also have a $25 off coupon on their website? read more

These guys moved me from one 2-story apartment into another 2-story apt. this weekend and it went very smoothly. They arrived exactly when they were supposed to, the guys were very nice, friendly and hard-working. I had a good amount of furniture & 75 heavy boxes of books, and I was seriously impressed at how quickly they were able to load and unload the truck, especially with stairs involved. I was very happy with their work and how well I was treated, both by the owner and the movers themselves. I highly recommend this company! read more

We used Tom & Jerry to help us load for a recent cross-country move. The guys were prompt and polite, however they did not do the best job of packing for items to not get damaged. I provided padding for wrapping furniture and they preferred to just use plastic which does not protect well. My dining room chairs had wood chips out of the legs, dining room table was chipped in 2 places on top due to it not being carefully packed in the truck. I asked that there were 3 boxes (out of the entire house of items) to be careful with because it was my wedding china. When I checked the truck, they were stacked sideways and on the bottom. read more

I would highly recommend Tom & Jerry Moving for your next move! I have moved many times and used various movers in the DFW area and always had a negative experience. I was pleasantly surprised with Tom & Jerry Movers! Brandon was professional and polite. The move went smoothly and there were no extra charges, and everything made it with no damage. 5 BIG STARS & 2 THUMBS UP!!!!! read more

I found T&J on Yelp and thought I'd get a bid. The 2 owners, both in their early 30's, plus one more mover charged me $310 to move me from a 3rd floor apartment, with a distance of over 25 miles. They were polite, extremely helpful and very careful. They moved over 200 large boxes, tons of furniture, helped take apart and reassemble furniture, and then helped us load up a truck and trailer, moving items OUT of the new place to take to storage...which took over an hour by itself! I can't say enough good things about them! I've referred everyone I know to them. read more

What a shit show of a company. I filled out their online form and received no response. Several days later I called their number and was awkwardly shuffled to a voicemail system. A few days later I started getting text messages from some dude named Brandon who said he was super busy and couldn't talk to me. I guess they are too busy getting more fake Yelp reviews. I'll admit that I'm a little sad because I was secretly hoping a cat and a mouse would show up at my place to move my junk. read more

Called, got a voice mail. Asked for a quote online. Got a text asking me to fill out a quote from online (beat him to it, already did that) and he would get back to me when he got off work. Never heard from anyone. Texted the number back requesting the quote. Got a generic email saying they were "available 7/? at 09 am" with their standard pricing. Emailed back for actual availability. No response. Though I found that a lot of companies aren't getting back to me. Must be because it's just a small 1 bedroom move. read more

This is long overdue, but I still wanted to post a review. Tom & Jerry did my apartment move in May of 2011. After reading the great reviews here, I called them and was totally impressed from start to finish. On the day of my move, they showed up exactly on the dot and got to work right away. About 30 min. into the move, it started pouring rain like you would not believe. They kept going, keeping my items dry with wrap. All of sudden, the sky just fell out and it started hailing! Crazy. They took a short break to wait out the hail, then resumed the move. At the other end, they unloaded my stuff so fast I couldn't believe it. Everything was placed where I wanted it, and they even offered to help me assemble whatever, or to move furniture around if I needed it. Even with the half-hour stoppage due to hail, they still managed to get the move done on time. I could not have been more impressed. These guys are total pros, honestly priced, and super nice. I sure hope they're still in the moving business next time I move, because I would hate to use anybody else! read more

On time, careful with items, hard working, friendly. All in all a good move made better with a good moving company. Glad I checked the yelp reviews before I made a decision. Cost was $450 with tax for about a 4 hour job. read more

Super friendly. Super professional. Fun, hard-working guys who got the job done on time with zero losses! Would definitely use again, and absolutely recommend them. Also pretty affordable for the quality they provide. read more

These guys are awesome. Quick, courteous, and very professional. They stuck with the original quote they gave me, which was way less than their competition. I highly recommend Tom and Jerry Moving. read more

These guys were fantastic. The price was great, but even better than that they moved our stuff from dfw to austin, and were just as happy and positive at 7am as they were late at night. Nothing was damaged. I have worked with a lot of movers, but these gents were extremely nice, polite, and most importantly had a great attitude while working extremely long hours on a very difficult task. Will recommend to all my friends for sure. read more

These guys were great. Showed up with positive attitudes and got the job done quickly. Both were very polite, and showed great care for our furniture. I highly recommend Tom & Jerry Moving-- we'll be using them again! read more

Having gone through multiple moves, I've generally found that it is extremely hard if not impossible to find good movers. Tom and Jerry moving under Brandon definitely turned out to be an exception to that opinion when they helped me move late last year. They were tremendously courteous and adequately professional. All our items were moved without dents or scratches although it was only a 15-30 min move. Reasonable pricing, professional and on time move and an overall pleasant experience. Hard to beat!! Keep up the good work, guys. read more

These guys were quick, friendly, and very careful with our stuff. Definitely recommend them.

These guys crushed it. Brandon and Jaime came in, focused and worked extremely efficiently. Super nice, personable and took very special care of every item. This was a storage move and to watch the 'Tetris King' at work, was impressive to say the least. We are moving again in 5-6 months and I know exactly who will be doing that move. read more

This review is overdue. All I can say is that Brandon and Jaime are amazing!! They moved us to Austin from Dallas and it could not have gone smoother. They were fast and efficient. I recommend them for every move, every time! read more

I would give less stars if there was an option. I hired them to move our things over 2 weeks in advance and the day of the move no one showed up. We waited two hours for them and then ended up having to do it ourselves. Completely dissatisfied with them. Went I went to call my calls were ignored. Do not use them, they are a waste of time and you can't count on them! read more

Brandon and Jaime did an excellent job on my move from Dallas to Austin. They did exactly as I requested, kept in constant communication, and delivered all my belongings undamaged. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and will be using them again in the future if I have a need. read more

Just used Tom & Jerry moving this past weekend. I was impressed with the men and their hard work ethic, but was SHOCKED when the final bill came. I was quoted a reasonable price by Brandon initially through email and then charged 3 times more than that! Definitely the most expensive move I have ever experienced, especially for a one bedroom move. I have used a few other companies in the DFW metroplex that have all been cheaper and done just as great of a job, I just couldn't secure any of them on the Sunday I needed. If you are not looking to spend a fortune I would not recommend them, but I have no complaints on the service. read more

This review is long over due. We have used these guys twice. The owners name is Brandon. I called on them to help my mom move and downsize her home in 2013. Last June I called on them again to move us from a house to an apartment. The second time I called on Brandon to move us it was pouring rain and we were moving up three flights of stairs! It's hard to see other people moving your things & especially in the pouring rain, but Brandon is a really good guy and a hard worker. I can't recall who was with him the second time but they both worked so hard and didn't complain one bit and they worked so fast never lallygagging! The first move was difficult as I was handling the move from out of state and over the phone. I even handled the payment over the phone. I was nervous working from out of state but things worked out well and without issue. Brandon is a good guy and he was reasonably priced, very careful with our things, strong and hardworking I would definitely recommend Tom and Jerry Movers to anyone! read more

I had to move from a 3/2 house into a 1/1 apartment with a small office. I called Tom and Jerry and was told it might take 5 hours. It was completely done in 3. They got there exactly on time, busted their butts from the word go, and got everything there without a scratch, dent or break. (Not counting the ones the last movers left me with.) I would easily, happily, heartily recommend these guys. read more

Lets see, they were a half hour late. Then they got lost. And that was after the contact guy said he knew exactly where they were going! And then they "forgot" to tell you that they charge something that looks like sales tax (8.25%) at the bottom of the receipt. Even though there is no tax on labor in Texas! For no apparent reason. Oh yeah and did we mention the other add on's? SO. To say that my experience was not good is an understatement. I am not sure whats up with the other reviews on here. Maybe relatives? I used these people because of the 5 star ratings, etc. But the bottom line is that a $450 move ended up costing over $750!! read more

Brandon is a star. He is professional, kind, and worked with me on all aspects of the move. I'd use these guys over an over again

We used Tom and Jerry Moving to move us from Austin to Dallas and they were AMAZING!!!! They showed up 10 minutes early, were super polite and professional. A small piece was left on their truck from our treadmill (we had no idea it was missing) and they mailed it to us a week later. Now that is what I call service!! They made our move a positive one. I can not say enough great things about these guys!! : ) read more

What a great experience! I have moved 5 times in the last 4 years and Brandon was by far the best mover I have used. He was very quick to point out any issues with my belongings (none of which he caused) and treated my belongings the way I expected. He moved me from Dallas to Austin and not one item was damaged. He was very honest and kept me informed during the entire process. Thank you Brandon! read more

Brandon and his crew are great! We called Tom and Jerry Moving to help us move into our new home. We had four PODS to unload and they unloaded and placed all items in less than 90-minutes! They even had tools to re-assemble our tables and beds. They took great care with everything and treated our items as though they were their own. Most importantly, these are just really good guys! They were mannerable and very personable. Brandon was a joy to do business with. I found him to be responsive and thorough in his communications. His rates were very reasonable and competitive. I would highly recommend Tom and Jerry Moving for your next move. You will not be disappointed! If I could give them more stars I would! read more

Not to toot my own horn, but I pride myself on my packing abilities, but I really am pretty good....these guys are better. They put that 26 footer together like a giant 3D jigsaw puzzle. Literally top to bottom, front to back. They're honest, timely, extremely hard-working and efficient. It was a real pleasure to have them on the job. I wish everyone had their work ethic. If you need someone to help you load or move, give 'em a call. You won't be disappointed! read more

My girlfriend and I used Tom & Jerry Moving last week, when we moved from our two bedroom duplex into our new home about 10 miles away on the other side of Dallas. I took the morning off work to be at the house during the process and I must say, I usually dislike using movers (who knows what is going to happen to my stuff?) but these guys are GREAT. They showed up right on time, came running up to look me in the eye, shake my hand, and introduce themselves (both guys - Brandon and Jamie). They handled all of our stuff with great care, and as they loaded things into the covered moving truck, they literally RAN back to grab the next item. Brandon even double wrapped some of the dressers and drawers that I had already wrapped - just to make sure it was all carefully moved. They quoted me 3 hours and got it all done in 2.5!! I highly recommend these guys and will use them the next time I move (hopefully not anytime soon - I hate moving) - Brandon and Jamie made the experience painless. read more
