Over priced for subpar service. The price they quoted was 1/2 what the bill came out to be. I had them pack up some of the house and that was a mistake. So disorganized in the packing , finding cleaning chemicals in with food products, costing me money to now replace food products. Then not labeling any of the boxes so a guess as to what is in the box. Loosing power cords to the couch having to dig around the shop to find them. Took a route to the drop off location that is not even along the way then claimed to be stuck at a train track for 30 min. ( the routes to take not one of them would put you on a train track at all ) I was charged for that time then charged for the time spent looking for items they lost. So over charged for the drive time and load and unload time both at least 3-4 hrs longer than needed. O and after telling them how a particular item was to not be broken they broke that item by not packing it with care. Highly disappointed in this service. When I let the owner know his response was "did they brake anything?" , gave 0 concern of the fact that they overcharged. I do not recommend them at all. So being in the military for almost 20 years now and having had to move over 8 times this is by far the worst company I have ever used for a move. read more

The reviews are most likely fake because what I experienced was the most unprofessional move I've ever had coupled with an outrageous bill $816 and empty promises to finish the job. Below is my final text after complete exhaustion dealing with this company. "Ok. It's almost 2pm and I've been waiting for 2 hours since you confirmed Sunday you'd be here "around 12pm". No need to respond now or provide the services you promised. Let me remind you these are the SAME services that should have been provided the day of the move. Services you said were INCLUDED in the total cost of the move, which ended up taking 7 1/2 hours and twice as expensive as a normal 1 bedroom move to a location 12.7 miles away. Shame on you and your lack of professionalism. If you had 1 ounce of professionalism, you would refund a portion of what I paid, since the whole experience has been a horror show. Over the past ten years I have found myself moving every other year or so, never using a moving company. This last time, I had one reason for hiring a team: my 82" television. I had decided to find a company through Yelp, and Premier Designs & Moving not only had great reviews, but they responded to my quote request quickly and Navid continued to stay highly communicative with me throughout the process. When Zach and Rene arrived on-site, they got down to business and never stopped moving. My things were loaded into the truck and ready to go in under 45 minutes. Our destination was 30 minutes away and they didn't make any pit stops or excuses to take the long way. Once we arrived they were back to work. With precision and speed, Zach and Rene finished the entire job just under the two hour minimum. My obnoxiously heavy and fragile television stands in one piece. Not to mention my full sofa, California king mattress and frame, and a couple dozen boxes that made it home safely. My stuff was taken care of and Zach and Rene were courteous and professional. Absolutely awesome experience using Premiere. We had a short move (8 miles) of my elderly folks out of their 32-year home to a senior living facility. The reservation was painless to make and the availability fit our schedule. The crew arrived exactly on time and went straight to work. Walk-thru first, then load. Furniture was blanket- and shrink-wrapped. Glass tabletops came off the truck intact and everything was handled quickly and professionally. I packed boxes ahead of time. Not the best experience I've had with movers. Navid is not an especially pleasant coordinator, and I'm not sure why Premier has them as their point of contact. Scheduling had to be done by phone, despite having set the time/date through the Yelp quote feature. "No appointments are finalized until we speak over the phone" I was scolded when I tried to guide them toward our quote where I had already provided all of the information they were asking me for. When my girlfriend called in to ask about whether they would bring mattress bags, instead of a quick and easy answer, Navid said "When's your appointment. I can't tell you anything without knowing your appointment". His disposition on friendliness is that it is overrated. José came out -30 minutes late- to help us move with one helper- a second mover was supposed to make for 3 but they'd had some emergency and canceled, and we were short one. None of them wore masks. At one point I felt the need to interject and ask that they wrap my entertainment center/console because they pulled the dolly up under it and were about to lift... they assured me they wrapped everything once out at the truck but again I had to insist that they protect the furniture even while on the dolly, which feels like a given. In total, it took them a little under 6 hours to load and unload our partially furnished 2BR house. This felt a bit long especially considering we'd moved the same household last year in four hours, with two movers. Obviously, when something goes wrong and somebody doesn't show up there's only so much you can do but maybe scheduling the same guys for back-to-back [longer] moves with no break is a recipe for a bad time all around? I get the impression that Premier is a sort of aggregate/umbrella for several different contract movers, and so your mileage may vary. Bonus star for getting our stuff here in one piece. Aside from that, would not recommend. The rate may seem attractive but the bill won't be. read more
