I called top flight and they were able to make time on their schedule the same day and came out pretty quick and moved everything in no hassle . I'm back on here to edit my review on this moving service. The only reason I wrote the super nice review before was because I was promised a discount AND A NEW TV SINCE THE MOVERS DROPPED MINE! Yes you read that right. The movers dropped my Philips 36 inch LED smart tv on my floor before they even got it out of my old apartment! SMASHED! I was calm about it until he told me on November 3: "Kristen, I have been doing this for a long time. You signed the contract saying if something was broken it would only be covered for .60 cents per pound, which means that TV broken is worth around $40, you had the choice to buy a third party insurance. I am doing all I can to get you a new TV sweetie." HM ^they were also magically switching insurance companies within days of my tv getting smashed.... I was then told on November 18 that he had the tv but he wouldn't be back until after Thanksgiving to give it to me. It is now December 9....I moved September 25..... This has been absolutely infuriating! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING SERVICE! They are unprofessional and way over priced for the "services" they provide. My move cost almost as much as the tv they destroyed! Hunter has been BS'ing me with countless text messages and blowing hot air up my arse and I'm tired of it! Top Flight Moving was very unprofessional and almost made me not be able to move into my new apartment. After scheduling them, I expected a 24-48 hour confirmation call or email. Never received any. I had to call them and the lady on the phone did acted like I did not schedule them. She finally confirmed that my movers would show up on time for my move in day. I had a scheduled slot for 9am-12pm for a loading dock at my apartment. I needed them at 9am. On the day of my move. The movers did not show. I called at 9:30am asking where they were. The same lady with a children in the background stated they were on the way. It got to 10:30am and I called where she proceeded to send me to voicemail 3 times. The movers arrived at 11:30am. I couldn't even move at that point and told them to leave! She quickly called and asked why I didn't let them move. They were HOURS LATE! I had to make last minute adjustments for other movers. She proceeded to say that my number was blocked because her child was on her WORK PHONE. Unacceptable! read more

I worked for Hunter on and off for about 2 months and got to see behind the scenes of the business and the character of the man that's running it. I quit because he is not the kind of guy I want to work for. At first Hunter seems like a great guy that is eager to do the right job. Don't be fooled by this front that he puts on. Multiple times he bragged to me about how much money he's making and how he doesn't care about anything else. No matter how much he seems like he is a good person, his heart is not in the right place. He tries to get by doing the cheapest thing possible. If you do go in business with him, read the contract thoroughly because he will absolutely take advantage of the scapegoats within the contract. The real reason I'm writing this review is because Hunter didn't pay me one week. I'm a relaxed person so I didn't rush him. I trusted him. A week went by and I shot him a text, no response. I wasn't to tight on money so I let it go. Long story short, after about 20 attempts to try to contact him and a month later he still hasn't paid me. The only response I got was when I told him I was going to write this review. He told me he would get my money that night. When the evening came around I tried to contact him and back to the same routine with no response. I don't advise anyone to do business with him. He doesn't deserve to have the honor of being a business owner. I hope this review has given y'all a different perspective and does its job in getting you to choose a better company out there. Extremely disappointed. Not impressed with their "professionalism". Definitely was ripped off. I will never hire a moving company again. I should've just moved everything myself. Not only did they not take apart my furniture to move it out of my room, they RIPPED the pieces off of it and half of the screws are missing now. Not to mention my brand new desk is now incapable of being put back together. I had originally scheduled my move for 8:30am. I touched base that morning at 8 and requested a later start time around 12:30 or so as I had a last minute mandatory meeting come up that morning. Hunter was compliant to my request, however when 12:30 came around, it became a 2pm start time. It being my only night off, I wanted to get everything done pretty early so I had the evening to follow through with prior plans made earlier on the week before. 2pm rolls around and I received a text saying they were about an hour out from finishing the job they were working on before mine, which is understandable considering I switched my time last minute. Long story short, I waited at my old house from 2pm to 6pm with my dad, who was pissed for taking work off to help when they showed up extremely late for the move. They arrived at 6, moved everything quickly, which was good.. But didn't end up leaving until about 10pm. They stopped the clock at 9:30 as the pay was hourly (to "hook me up"). Gee, thanks for knocking a half hour off my price... But did I forget to mention that they went to Taco Bell during the move and spent a half hour there? Nope. So I paid them hourly for them to eat, how lovely. I drove by as its on the way to my new house and saw the truck parked. I kept quiet, still. In the process of unloading, they moved my refrigerator in with pretty small space to work with.... but isn't that why you hire movers? Because you don't want to jeapordize ruining walls or your things? In moving the fridge, a large scratch was left on my wall as well as several chips on the corner. I pointed it out after paying and Austin offered cash to help (which was appreciated) but in all honesty, what am I going to do with money? I just paid you to move my things... So you're going to give me some of it back to make up for what you did? At the house I moved out of, they had to take the door off to move things out, which was expected. When putting it back together, it wasn't installed correctly as it wouldn't close or lock without you slamming it. I informed them as I was trying to lock it up to go to my new home and they said they would go back to fix it on the way out after the job, which they ended up doing... At 10:30 at night when my room mate was still staying there sleeping. She was woken up and texted me pretty upset that people were there that late messing with the door. All in all, I was scammed. I had originally hired another company for later in the month and was quoted $1 less an hour and some of the fees were cheaper and I was promised a professional, high quality move with experience and customer service being #1. This is the reason I went with them. I will say Hunter was polite and seemed professional from the very beginning and gave me one hell of a sales pitch. Something tells me I will not be getting my desk replaced. I have no problem paying $500 or even $2000. But when I'm lied to I have a problem. I will essentially just trash my new, now ruined, cpu desk and purchase another but the moral of the story is.... I will never hire movers again, because of this company. read more

After receiving a referral to Top Flight and speaking with the owner we had high hopes of a great moving experience. Unfortunately this changed on our moving day. After not hearing from them the morning of the move, we waited nearly an hour and a half before calling to check their ETA. I received a text back stating they had a tire blowout and since it was a Sunday morning it wouldn't be until the afternoon until they could get to us. They stated, 'we will get it fixed and you moved today.' Disappointed, but understanding they were stuck in a bad situation we accepted the situation. After reaching out via text and phone calls every couple of hours after asking for an update, we received ZERO returned calls or texts after the initial text stating they would be late. After finally giving up at 5:00pm that they would ever show (or have the decency to call or text) we waited until 12:00pm the next day to reach out again. Still ZERO response. I asked for a refund of our deposit and still received ZERO response. I finally had to dispute the charge with my bank to receive our deposit back. I find it very unprofessional that they would not respond or be proactive in reaching out to customers who they have left with no service on their moving day. read more

I used Top Flight at the suggestion of my realtor. It proved to be a good choice. The team showed up on time and promptly moved my stuff from the storage unit to the truck. I live on the fourth floor of my complex, but that did not throw the guys off their game. The guys completed the move in a timely fashion and even helped repair my damaged blinds in the master bedroom. I feel the price was fair compared to some other companies in the area and I even saved money because the team finished earlier than expected. Customer Beware!! I'd give them a negative rating if I could We booked them for a move right before the holidays and as with most closing dates they can change and it was shifted out by a week. Notified them of the change and received email confirmation that there were no issues. I normally always call a day or two before, but with my busy schedule I didn't...I mean come on with moving, closing on a new house and selling another plus working you have a lot on your mind! Since I had received a confirmation via email a week or so before I thought surely I'm ok, right? Wow, what a bad idea! I took the entire day off from work to move and they NEVER showed up...seriously made numerous attempts via phone and text with no response back. Not only me, but my realtor and even her partner who had made the original referral to us Till this day I did not hear back from them on what happened....would HATE for anyone else to experience this!! On top of that I found out after telling the story to a coworker they also had ended up using the same company (completely randomly) and had also had a terrible experience. I made an appt with the owner Hunter who was referred by the apartment complex where I am moving and where HE lives. The appt was for 8:30 AM today. I received a text this morning stating that they were having truck issues and would be a little late. An hour later I received another text stating that the delay would be so long that they wanted to move me the next day. I said absolutely not and advised whomever text me to rent a uHaul. He responded that there were none available in the area. I advised via text that I wanted them to tell Hunter the owner to call me. They responded "sure will". I then called uHaul and found there WAS a truck available that was 6 ft shorter than what they were planning on using (first lie). I was advised that THAT wouldn't work at all and they would have truck fixed soon (second lie). The last communication I received from them was at 9 AM. I texted and called (no answer) over and over and never got a single response (it's now 5:22) . My realtor asked what number was texting me...I gave her the number and she said that was HUNTER'S number as she has been working with him to refer clients. Mid afternoon I spoke with the apartment rep that referred Top Flight what was going on, and he texted Hunter himself. He finally received a response about 5:00 ish from Hunter stating that he was out of town and that his guys had rented a truck and came to my house but no one was there so they left. I received NOT ONE phone call stating they were headed to the house. LIES !!! Stay away from this company. The owner is a LIAR and a SCAM ARTIST!!!!! read more

I was there and it was not wrapped and moved with no protection on it an hence the damage on the Fridge door. Besides, the whole incident happened in front of my eyes. Yes, you were right that I had to sign the contract, remember the drama that night you made to pay in full before everything was moved yet. And I had to make you to come back the next day. Being tired after moving for the whole day, and 9:30 at night, with 3 kids crying for being hungry and wanting to go to bed, It was least of the problem to worry about what was in the contract. But I thought you were a honest person who will live up to the promises, but apparently, not. You had very clearly communicated in your email, that the moving will include few hours of packing too and you should have planned accordingly. About being late, it was not just the first day, even the second day, when you showed up, you were not on time and I had to wait at your mercy to get things moved. You have my number and email, and you could have resolved most of it over the phone or email. I was being very resonable but you were not worth it. I still think you do not deserve even this one star. *************************** Beware of this company!!!! They say that they will cover the damages, even after his team verbally agreeing to the fact that they damaged my fridge, which happened in front of my eyes. Also, they never ever show up on the committed time and start a minimum of 3-4 hours later than the committed time making you wonder, if they still are going to make it. Very professional moving company! They set up an initial meeting to come to my home to give me an estinate and take a look at what they would be working with, most moving companies do not do this, they just guess. Scheduled a move for 8 am on a Saturday, they showed up on time and worked very quick! This move was a breeze, was moved and set up at the new place in about two hours! They shrunk wrapped dressers and glass furniture so they wouldn't have to be unassembled. They also help to set up beds and will hook up washer and dryers. The workers were very professional and polite. I will definitely use them again for a move! read more

The team arrived on time, communicated through the whole process and were very cautious with our furniture through the whole process. They were enjoyable to be around and very considerate of where we would like things and delivery with specific directions given. Hunter called throughout the day to insure we were satisfied. I booked with Hunter to move a washer, dryer, and refrigerator. The crew that worked was professional, quick, and hardworking and tried to get me under the 2 hour minimum so I wouldn't have to pay anything extra. They finished with 15 minutes to spare! The only reasons this is 4 stars instead of 5 are because of a payment mix-up that Hunter quickly fixed once I could get in contact with him, and because of a small gouge in my hardwood floor from a refrigerator scraping it. Tip - ask them to spend an extra 5-10 mins to wrap each item and you'll avoid this! read more

Initially, my husband and I were very impressed with Hunter when he did the walk through and estimate for our move about a month ago. He estimated a faster time than I had originally expected and quoted us a price based on his estimate of time and 4 men moving the items that I felt was competitive and fair. At 8 am they arrived promptly but only 3 men showed up and started the job (which makes the time longer) but I was okay with it taking a couple of hours longer because we would be done well before dark. The men wrapped some of the furniture very thoroughly in the first couple of hours then started to load which seemed to make time halt!!! One of the guys was excellent but the other two shouldn't have been working for this company. Instead of ONE load, it took THREE and instead of 6-8 hours it took 15 hours and when I saw that they were lagging I took over 7 carloads in my own vehicle! My husband called Hunter to ask what in the world was going on and he sent (finally) a fourth person (not in uniform or part of his regular crew, just someone's cousin) at 5:30pm. They did things like take apart my piano by removing the front piece (never had to be removed before) and the fourth man (someone's cousin) was carefully loading it into his personal vehicle. I asked "what are you doing"??? And he said they were going to take it over that way so it didn't get damages?? What?? Later that night (after dark) around hour 13 of a 6-8 hour move I noticed something shiny on the ground next to the passenger side door of the fourth mans car. I walked over to see what it was and it was my hand weights!!!! I picked them up and walked 25 yards back over to my garage and said "someone want to tell me why my handweights are sitting at one of your personal vehicles??? No one had an answer until fourth guy came to me and said he was going to take them over in his car so they didn't roll around! What??? They are octagon shaped! And why wouldn't you put them in a box?? Or in MY car?? I'm certain he was going to steal them. Lots of other things happened that I won't put in this post...but I will NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone I know! Warning - Top Flight Moving Services failed to rectify the damage to my KitchenAid ceran stove top on 4/22/16. Cody's hand crushed my ceran glass stove top when he used it as leverage to climb inside the moving truck. I am still waiting for resolution and Top Flight Moving Services will not respond. Do not hire their moving services. They do sloppy work, cram your furniture into a Budget rental truck and allow your furniture to fall causing considerable nicks & gouges to 2 out of 4 wooden bar stools as well as my master bedroom wood furniture. We used Top Flight Moving services on June 25th and they did an excellent job. We had scheduled the move two times prior to the 25th but due to unexpected circumstances, we had to reschedule. Hunter was very understanding each time and quickly agreed to reschedule each time. All items moved were carefully wrapped and protected during the move.The movers were always willing to take the time to fully answer any questions that I had during the move. WORST EXPERIENCE of my life. I am on here because they force you to give them a good review on their web page so they can give you a discount. What a bunch of BS. They damaged some items that cannot be replaced, told me to get them repaired and they would have their insurance contact me to settle up. i only wanted half cause they were antiques. They quoted me that the movers were experts with antiques and had years of experience. Quoted me 4 mover in a small time frame to just move my furniture on my list. These two boys showed up took them almost 12 hours and they moved more items out of my garage that were not on my list. damaged items, didn't wrap half of my items. took them 2 trips because the truck wasn't big enough. 2 hours late. This has been over 6 months and still haven't heard from their insurance company. I told them that when the refrigerator was installed the movers had to take the doors off to get it through my front door. They refused and broke the jam and molding on the door and didn't turn the water off from the ice maker so it flooded the kitchen. House was sold, new buyers moving in the next day. PLEASE READ IF YOU PLAN ON USING THEM TO MOVE - DO NOT TRUST HUNTER (owner of the company)!!! He is the biggest SCAM ARTIST I have ever met! He will tell you he will give you a discount it you write a positive review (HA its not a discount at all). I am in the apartment the apartment industry and he would always come in trying to get us to promote his business and told me he would get me a discount for doing so. I literally moved walking distance and he charged me $485 (not including a tip) when he told me the max told me he would charge was $350 (Which is a complete rip off considering I can walk across the street to my new place). Its my fault for not shopping around and trusting that he would keep his word since he explained how many times he's been "burned". He was so quick to get my deposit and keep the communication through the whole move, but as soon as he charged my account - it was like pulling teeth to try and get a hold of him. Hunter charged my account $100 more then the price we agree on, and charged it before I authorized it. When I brought this to his attention, he apologized and told me he will look into it. The next day goes by - I don't hear anything from him - the day after that - still nothing. So I reached out to him again since I still didn't see any refund in my account, he told me he was so busy and he already refunded it. I asked him to send me a confirmation email, he said he would, never did! So I contacted my bank to get $100 disputed. 2 months later I get a notification from my bank that Top Flight Movers said I NEVER PAID THEM!!!!! This is so unbelievable for the simple fact that Hunter stole my money, lied about refunding it, then even lied about me paying the correct amount. I never sought out revenge when Hunter took my money. I even sent him a message that I hope others don't have this same experience. But now after receiving the letter from my bank, I am PISSED!!! This is a warning to anyone considering them. Oh and one more thing, the 3 guys that moved me, all quit on Hunter because he SCAMMED them too! I heard tons of stories about how he isn't insured and people are constantly trying to get money for the items that were damaged in the move.
