January 2016 - I contracted these people to pack my house and load it into a truck to move to California and the price was not cheap. Furniture was not wrapped - and was damaged. Initial communication before move was good. 3 men showed and the lead mover was courteous, the younger two cussed in front of my kids and were not at all careful with our items, not knowing how to wrap a dining hutch and ramming a fridge into a doorway to make it go through until we had to say whoa! Stop! Movers were to meet my husband at house 25 minutes away, he got there and waited another 30 minutes before they arrived, this would put them up to another hour on the clock. Upon arrival at our new home my husband found that our 1 year old dryer was not just slightly damaged but majorly dented in several places and the control panel broken all along where it meets with the frame. The movers finished the job (was a small job of just appliances and 1 couch set/dining hutch) and gave us a whole $120 refund on our bill (the amount equaled the overcharge on time) on a 1 year old $700 dryer. I called and left a message for Rose right away and did not get a call back for 4 days. I explained what happened and the language used, she assured me she would talk with them and asked that I send pictures. I asked if she had already seen pictures as the lead mover took some with his phone and she said no, I should have know how things would go from there.The move date was July 13th and I have yet to hear back from her. I would not at all recommend this company and am thankful we did not have them move more of our items. Pretty sad when 2 teenagers and 3 adults can do a packing job for a 2500 sq ft house and nothing breaks but this company can't handle moving a few appliances. read more

NOTE: FIREHOUSE MOVING DOES DO MOVES IN DALLAS AS WELL I've been meaning to review these guys for a while now. The girl and I used Firehouse Moving in August of this year. Yes, August. Remember how hot it was in August? It was somewhere around 100+ degrees and felt like a living Hell outside. These guys rocked the Casbah. We were combining apartments, so first they had to move out all of the girl's things from her 3 story townhome. We estimated that it would take them a couple hours to load things. They finished loading her stuff in about an hour. Then, they drove across town to my place to load my things in a blistering pace. Seriously, these guys jogged to and from the truck. I was very impressed. I was on the second floor, but the stairs didn't phase them. When it came time to load everything from the truck into our new second floor apartment. They unloaded everything with great care and still kept up a fantastic pace in 100+ weather. I can't stress that enough. I was helping with some lighter items we had and I was winded and covered with sweat in 10 minutes. These movers looked like they could run a marathon after our move. At the end of the day, they fit in two days worth of work into about 5 hours. Not only were they fast, but the team of 3 guys were also friendly. While processing my payment, the lead mover chatted about La Liga football with me. We will be lifelong customers of theirs and will definitely use them when we buy a house in the near future. read more

Don't email in to schedule your move! I received confirmation of the date and time my move was scheduled. On the day of our move I hadn't received a courtesy call so I called in to make sure everything was still a go; they didn't have me on the schedule. We had to be out of our apartment that day. Not cool. I hope to never move again, but if I do I will not be choosing this company. The actual movers "could" be great, but the office staff dropped the ball on this one. They didn't even try to get someone for a late night move to correct the problem, all I got was "I'm sorry." Customer Service at its finest! read more

These people moved my neighbors and in the process smashed my mailbox with their huge trailer. I called and talked to Rose who seemed to not care. I followed up several times (this happened in JUNE, it is now August) and left voicemails with my address and where they can send a check to to fix the damage. No call back and no check! HORRIBLE customer service! I would use every profanity possible to describe how inconsiderate these people are. Especially ROSE. You could have done something about this but instead you'll get a bad yelp review! read more

Don't use them. I had a move scheduled and confirmed. Took off work in order to be there during the move. They didn't show up. Turns out they had a man out sick that day. I called and talked to the owner that morning. When I asked why they did not call since they had my phone number, she didn't think it was necessary to notify me they weren't coming. Did show up the next day. Moving guys were nice, but did scrap walls of stairwell getting furniture to second floor. read more

Horrible horrible horrible movers. Cannot stress how bad they are. Careless and just do not care. I have Ethan Allen furniture and they destroyed several nice wooden items including a china cabinet, bombay chest and a couple additional items. In addition to damaging over $10,000 in furniture they backed into to brick mailbox and damaged also!!! read more

these are the absolute worst movers!!!!!!!!! the furniture that the moved is now ruined (scratches, dents, rips)!!!!!! when they moved us they completely drove through our yard and ripped up the grass and created huge divits/tire tracks. the holes were the depth of an entire tread!!!! they also took an hour and a half to drive 15 minutes. only to learn that they stopped and ate without communicating with us. we were then charged the hourly rate for that lunch stop!!!!!!! i will never use this company again!!!!!!!!!!!! this company does not deserve any stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am not someone to be ugly, but i would not dare to even consider, recommend, or waste my breath in referring this company!!!! i will be sure to tell everyone that i know do not use this company!!!!! read more

When I decided to move I chose this business close to my home because I always like to see local businesses do well and the lady on the phone was very helpful. WHAT A MISTAKE! These movers were very unprofessional and if you decide to use them after my review take out the insurance. I did not. Listed here is the damage I experienced, moving a 1500 sq ft house and 7 hours later (at $115 dollars an hour): 1. My refrigerator was scratched in numerous places, plus the water tray on the outside was lost. 2. My stove was scratched in several places. 3. When moving boxes into the new house one of them set a box on my stove, which had accidentally been turned on while moving, and there was a large fire. They put the fire out, but not without other damage. My floor and sink were burned and my stove did not clean up entirely where the fire was located. The box that burned had bathroom things which included all of my curling irons, I had several sizes, hairdryer and hair products which is what probably cause the huge blaze. Of, course none of this stepped up to take the blame. 4. Then during the move I had to listen to two of the guys talk about selling their prescription drugs since they were allergic to them. Quote: "I am not a drug dealer, but if someone wants to give me $100 dollars for the pills I will take it." 5, My walls in the new house were messed up in several places, some which needed repair others that just needed paint. 6.
