Transition from one storage to another storage facility started out well. But upon arrival to other storage unit is when the tide turned. Why stack to ceiling so that you can not access items and loose stuff basically thrown up there to the top? While some lamps and stands were broken that was ok compared to how they stacked my items for a 5 foot 3 height challenged person. And then the driver wanted to argue and saw the original facility was not stacked up to the ceiling. Would I recommend them again. Not likely. They were recommended to me and this person used them 3 times. But the last move she had issues also. Tim still has not responded yet...and now it will cost me to rectify the situation. read more

Tim (the owner) and his team have been moving my family since around 2008, going way back to even when my grandparents were still with us. Tim has moved my parents several times and me and my family at least 7. I started using them for myself when I was 18 (I'm 32 now). They are the most efficient movers I have ever worked with. They are honest and give a quote directly up front. There are no hidden costs and they speak to you about any changes needed and discuss. You won't find yourself in a spot where a move takes 10 hours because the movers are hourly. Hotshots got to my house in Anna at 12:20pm and was unloaded and had everything set up in our new house in Frisco by 2:55pm (including a 30 minute drive time). There is not a better company. They take care of all of your furniture and we've never had anything broken or damaged. They are insured and you can tell all of his employees are treated well. They are all polite and friendly. He's had employees that have worked with him since we started using him in 2008. That is impressive and hard to find today. I can't recommend them enough for a good, honesty, hardworking company. I am overall satisfied with the moving job. I especially like two of the three movers - they are hardworking, courteous, and very friendly to talk to. Take off two stars because: 1) When I initially talked to the owner over the phone and asked him questions, I feel that his tone appears orderly. When he explained how everything works and what he can and can't do, I feel that I was talked down to. But I don't think it's intentional, probably this is just part of his personality. 2) When the moving was done, I wrote a check to a guy. He basically asked for a tip. I was pressured so I did give a tip to him. But I didn't feel very comfortable about that. After all, it was an easy moving job. It took them a total of two hours to complete it and I paid $400. My husband took all furniture apart so everything is easy to move. On the way a bottle of sauce busted open (again, I don't really blame the movers), but it did drip on a large area of my hardwood floor, and my husband had to clean that up. read more

These guys are great, Tim brings in very polite and efficient workers, they remember your name, ask plenty of questions, and take care of your belongings.
