Omar filled in the details of the job to get us the right crew, and got us scheduled for the very next morning. Lorenzo and his team showed up early, communicated clearly, and holy wow did they work fast. In less than 90 minutes they moved what took our team 6 hours to do. AND they moved a fireproof safe by hand, with sheet strength and a good knowledge of physics. The cherry on top is the value - super-fair, plus a discount for booking through Yelp. Very nice workers, a strong work ethic and good manners. "Yes maam" goes a long way with me. AND the actual cost was significantly less than the quote I agreed to. Firehouse Movers is who I'll call with any future moves.

BEWARE - BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRICING!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with this company deserves one. I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.

I am very impressed by their first responding email, which is well organized and informative, listing all the info I need to know about my upcoming move project, including the preparation, the move process, service scope, the charge rate (and the detail how they charge), the cost estimate, insurance cover and other XYZ, which makes me believe they are very professional and choose them. The coordination process is agreeable and efficient (thank you, Danah!), and the movers are really professional and efficient: Dustin and Anthony from Garland location arrived on time, provided an accurate cost estimate per hours it takes to accomplish the move (and they actually finished the job early). During the move process, they are efficient and gentle (to carry and place my belongings), carefully wrap and protect my furniture, and they help me to disassemble my huge bed frame (and reassemble) which I have trouble with, and coordinate with me in a very professional and decent approach. All in all, I'm very satisfied with their service, and I'll hire them for my next move.

If you are looking for a moving company, stop looking and go with Phoenix Express. We recently…read moremoved from the Dallas area to northern Minnesota and we had bids from 3 companies. Beau, the owner, visited us and gave an estimate that was very competitive. Throughout the move process they had very good communication. Before the move, we packed up most of the things ourselves, but Phoenix offered to have some of their office staff pack up the fragile items like dishes and art work on an hourly rate. This really helped! On the day of the move, they were on time and they brought in 10 people to pack the van and get us on our way quickly. When they moved us, they did not consolidate and transfer our things to another van, our things stayed in the same van until it reached its final destination. When they unpacked, they were very professional and efficient. To summarize, we had a great experience moving with Phoenix Express and I would highly recommend them for anyone to move with!

I used Full Circle Moving twice in the span of a few weeks and highly recommend them…read more Scheduling was easy. Maria was very responsive and patiently addressed all my questions and concerns prior to making an appointment. Rates are competitive and, most importantly, STRAIGHTFORWARD. There are too many moving businesses out there that enjoy adding extra/hidden charges -- so you keep guessing until the move's done and usually end up paying a lot more than you initially planned. With Full Circle, there are no hidden costs. The only variable is time. Which brings me to the third point -- efficiency. They're quick and have legendary stacking skills! We were pleasantly surprised when our move-out took about two-thirds of the time we'd anticipated. Move-in was also very smooth. I've had my fair share of moving experiences and these two with Full Circle were, without a shadow of a doubt, the best. Thank you, Robert and team!

You know how apartment moving goes.. some times, your unit isn't exactly how you imagined it to be and there are corners and curbs you don't expect to be there on the day of the move. WELL! That's exactly what happened with our huge a** couch. They twisted it. They turned it. Nope. Nothing was working. They brought the couch all the way downstairs and Jonathan had this idea to remove the door to create more leeway. And what do you know.. it worked!! I was literally looking up apartment friendly couches and was planning on putting our current one in storage/selling it lol. Thankfully we didn't have to do that because I love this couch. To do what they do.. in this Texas weather.. I applaud them. I'm so glad we got such a great team (even the agent who booked our move was extremely professional and got back to me in a timely manner, main reason why we booked them in the first place!) Will definitely be moving with them again next time.. maybe in 2 years haha.

We got 2 young guys who didn't seem very well trained on best moving practices nor were they very well prepared in materials. They didn't have any mattress bags nor enough saran wrap to protect our mattresses or headboards. Luckily we had bags and bubble wrap left over from our last move so we used that. They were also going to use the dirty moving blankets to wrap our mattress but we asked them to use saran wrap, which they did but they ran out of saran wrap and left half of our mattress exposed during the move. When moving our consoles and couches, they also packed them into the truck so that the 4 legs of the heavy furniture would bear the brunt of the traffic movement. When we first moved out here, the other company took the legs off and laid the furniture on the side, effectively spreading the weight across the entire console instead of focusing it on the legs. I had to ask them to do the same thing because I didn't want to risk ruining the furniture. When it came time to move the mattresses into the new house, they dragged it over the mud and ripped the bag, and if we hadn't caught that, they would've brought the muddy mattress bag inside. I hate to micromanage but I feel like if I didn't, our furniture definitely would've gotten more damage / mud / dirty than it should have. The young guys seemed to work hard, but they were woefully untrained and ill prepared for the move.

All documentation was provided on time, and the movers arrived as scheduled. I had my items moved from Los Angeles, CA to Dallas, Texas in a POD. Unfortunately, my TV was damaged during the move (unclear if it was from the POD, but I doubt that since the TV was against the king size mattress). One of the movers later stated that he had noticed damage to the TV box when he unloaded the tv from POD but did not bring it to my attention at the time, which was very disappointing. However, the owner Joey, took the situation seriously and handled it with genuine empathy and accountability. I was extremely frustrated from the move (it's really a lot to handle) and Joey was kind and patient as he listed to me explain what happened. He suspended the team member involved, made it clear that he wanted to put the customer first, and worked with me to make things right. After I provided the original receipt for my TV, he sent me a check for its full original purchase price and did not waste time to go through insurance. I didn't buy additional insurance, so at most if Joey had went through insurance, I would have received $40/$50 back for my tv at $0.60/lb. He said he wanted to make sure we reached an agreement that felt fair. I truly appreciate Joey's customer first mindset. Although the damage was frustrating, I greatly appreciated how Joey responded. He's been in business for 25 years and stated that accidents happen and what he cares for the most is customer satisfaction. His integrity, compassion, and willingness to stand behind his company ultimately left me with a positive impression. Due to financial constraints, I decided to store my things locally for now while I relocated. I'm someone who's huge on reviews (non-incentivized) and personal experiences people have with a company or product, so Einstein caught my eye. From the first conversation with the representative when I called, I knew I was in good hands. The conversation was calm, every step was explained, emails and communication was fluid thru moving day. The truck was much bigger than I was expecting as well as the ramp placement at the side of the truck vs the rear which made me nervous, but luckily we were able to make it work in my apartment complex. Sully and Kenan were friendly and understanding overall. Asked questions along the way as needed, and took some of the stress away from what typically comes with a moving day (especially when it comes to this being my first time moving things into a storage unit). I do have to note that the move may have finished sooner had one movers not been out of commission by his lunch choice longer than expected... Also, seeing the feet of my couch during the move has me a bit nervous about how they'll look when I remove my furniture from the unit. From a few feet away when I saw them on the cargo elevator and being placed into the unit, they seemed like they were angled and scratched a bit from positioning during transport. The email after my move stated that I can inform them if I notice any damages, whenever it may be, so I'll have to do a thorough check when I next access or move-out of the unit. Other than that, I would for sure use them again, possibly even for when it's time for that move-out. I recommend this company as an affordable choice for a local move if all the movers are similar to Sully & Kenan who helped with mine. Thanks guys!
