This was my second time at this restaurant I recommended it to a lot of people and wanted to make sure my recommendation was still spot on, and it absolutely is. Every aspect of this restaurant contributes to making it my favorite in the area. The ambience is very nice, our server (Shea) was not only knowledgeable about the menu but provided great service. This time around we were sat in the downstairs area which had a very warm fireplace and really cool decor. Now for the good stuff, we tried 4 of their cocktails (spring bloom, Aperol spritz, peach old fashioned, and espresso martini) all were incredible in different ways. My personal favorite was the peach old fashion with the dried peach garnish, but the grapefruit foam on the Aperol spritz was really tasty and interesting. For an appetizer we got the calamari. It was fried perfectly, buttery and crunchy at the same time and the citrus aioli really added to the experience. We came into dinner with a plan, a few years ago I had the scallops and knew I had to get them again. The Mill burger was also recommended to me. We obviously had to get both. Firstly, the scallops were perfect. They were cooked extremely well, the mango slaw was incredible and the dirty rice and roja sauce gave it a nice kick. As for the burger, it was worth every penny. The bun was toasted, the meat was cooked perfectly, and the black pepper bbq sauce really set it off. For the price one of the best burgers you're going to find. Since it was a special occasion was obviously had to get dessert. The Urban Churn dark soul ice cream was absolutely incredible and the portion size was perfect to split. If you've gotten this far I'm sure you can tell I'm going right recommend this restaurant to anyone who finds themselves in the Hershey area. read more

We had Easter Sunday brunch at The Mill in Hershey, and although it was busy, it was definitely worth it. The shrimp was juicy and paired perfectly with the fresh wedge salad. My husband really enjoyed his steak and eggs, and our son was all smiles with his pancakes and bacon. We also tried the apple fritters--super tasty! The kitchen was backed up so service was a bit slow, but totally understandable. Our server was awesome--so friendly and even chatted with our 3-year-old (iykyk). Everything i ordered was amazing. I had the donut holes, lime in coconut, and eggs Benedict. This drink is my new favorite. Going to try to get there before it's out of season. I want to try everything on the menu. Was slightly disappointed we didn't get to sit outside seeing it's the end of the season for outdoor dining. There was an event going on. The oysters were so fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, I do have one small complaint...the steak still had the silver skin on it. If not removed, it makes the meat very chewy when cooked. I attached the picture of the steak. It was cooked perfectly (to medium rare), just upsetting that they served a lower quality piece of meat. Stopped into the Mill for the first time during our recent trip to Hershey Park. We were pleasantly surprised. The food, service, and timing of the courses were fantastic! Our table had the Kansas City strip and crab cakes. Both were cooked well and are dishes we would have again. The vanilla bean cheesecake was a perfect finishing touch! 07.23.23 Wife and I drove up for dinner today we brought a friend along with us, we still had gift cards left over from covid that I purchased to help out with insurance for the workers. We arrived and the parking lot was full as always, we were going to try and eat out on the new patio but it was full so we went to the basement and the bar only had 2 people at it so we sat down. We saw Amy but she wasn't working at the bar tonight she was serving tables instead of the bar. We sat down and the girl working the bar gave us some menus and took our drink order and told us about the special for the evening. It was a white fish with an egg plant puree with some mixed veggies, I would have got that but I don't like egg plant. Our friend ordered the special wife had the Summer Cobb Salad and I had the Filet. The meals were excellent, our friend was extremely pleased with the fish special said it was delicious and of course the Cobb and filet was excellent as well. Now dessert! We told our friend about the peanut butter pie here all the 2 1/2 hours up the road we told her how wonderful it is. Then when we ask for it we were told that they don't have it, that blew the wind out of our sails!! Another server told us that it would melt because of the heat of the summer that's why they don't have it now to come back in the fall. Im here now this is the first time we have drove up and they haven't had peanut butter pie, it was prepared in different ways but they always had it for I know the past 7+ years. We would get extra if we were staying in town to eat later it never melted it didn't have time too! So, we had to get something else. I decided to get the Cannoli cake, with in came out it looked really good! Well after that first bit all 3 of us were very disappointed, the cannoli cake I think had ways too many chocolate chips. And the cake was very dry, where was the cream that goes in a cannoli? That would have made it nice an moist and maybe then it would have tasted better with all those chocolate chips. Well at least we know not to ever get that again we will have to try something different for sure. WOW! My husband I came here prior to a concert last evening and we've both been here (sorry - totally forgot to review). The building itself is probably the most gorgeous place I've had dinner in years. It's warm and inviting while you can hear the faint buzzing of the passing trains. It's huge with an outdoor seating area and a big parking lot. Our server was Katelyn and she was phenomenal! She was so quick to tend to us; getting refills, recommending items, and checking how each item turned out. Truly, I think a good server can make an experience go from good to great. She's definitely a keeper! We ordered several drinks from the bar and they all came out in a timely manner, especially given how busy they were! The wine was crisp and cold and my husband enjoyed his mixed drinks. I also love the variety of specialty drinks they offer. We started with the oysters, which were of good size. We also got the bruschetta and it was delicious! The bread was not too soft but not too crunchy. We also got the calamari which was cooked perfect! The accompanying sauce was good too. My husband grabbed the pork chop which he devoured. I got the pan seared chicken breast. My only request would be to maybe serve with a little cup of the sauce on the side. I loved the carrots and enjoyed having them presented that way. And now for dessert ... WOWWZA. I know it's just strawberry sorbet but it was so flavorful. All of our food was fantastic! And the drinks were too! I had the lime and the coconut and it was probably the best cocktail I've had in a very long time! We tried the brisket, which was cooked to perfection! The vegetable curry was also surprisingly really well seasoned. And the crab cakes are some of the best in town! We dined with our 5 year old daughter, who was carrying her brand new Reese's peanut butter cup wallet. We came here based on a recommendation from the hotel concierge we were staying at as well as the reviews we saw online. The restaurant is very spacious and has a very nice design. There is two main floors and we sat on the bottom floor at a high table which I didn't really like as it felt like we were seated at a bar and not a nice dining table when there were plenty available. The menu offers a good selection of starters and entrees. We ordered the Mediterranean sampler which had fried halloumi cheese, spanakopita, lamb meatballs, red pepper hummus, and olives. The best part in our opinion was the fried cheese. The lamb meatballs, red pepper hummus and spanakopita lacked flavor overall which was disappointing. Also the starter came out at the exact same time as our entrees which was poor timing and was never acknowledged by our server. I ordered the beef brisket which came with brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese. The brisket was very good however the brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese did not have any flavor. My wife ordered the Caesar salad which was ok but again the dressing lacked flavor. Overall the food was bland and for $100 for two people to eat I would have expected a better experience and better tasting food. I would not recommend based on the price. The staff was friendly overall but could have been better by recognizing the issue with the appetizer coming out at the same time as our meals. read more

Even with how busy they were, service was great. Very attentive. I got the seasonal Carmel apple mimosa, we shared the donut holes and then i also enjoyed the eggs Benedict. The mimosa was excellent. So well balanced and perfect for fall. The donut holes were incredible. I should have ordered two servings as my main. I was very anxious to try this place during my trip and was glad I got the opportunity. Reservations are recommended and having one enabled us to get seated right away. There are two dining levels offering indoor and patio seating. They also have a full bar. During the day they serve brunch on weekends which was the timing of our visit. I definitely had my eyes on the crabcake sandwich and fries which is what the both of us ordered. It took a little while to get the food but it did not disappoint! Portion sizes are generous. My sandwich was so good-made with real crabmeat! I got so many fries that were delicious that I just couldn't finish them. We had great service by a very attentive waitress. First of all, let me start by saying this pains me to write this, as The Mill was our favorite restaurant in Hershey for the last 10 years. Within the last 2 years, everything has gone down hill -- the food is very inconsistent - for example, why would you change the go-to brisket at all?! The quality of the dishes doesn't line up with the price increases (at all). The bartenders are a joke - they are completely incapable of making a quality, classic cocktail. They seem to just throw things together to make something "look nice" on the Facebook posts, and when you order the actual drink, it is awful and ridiculously overpriced. Certain servers push you into ordering the $14-$17 cocktails, and shame on me for falling for it and hoping it would be worth it again and again. The ambiance is still great - both inside and outside p, but the decline in the quality of food and drinks, and the recent staff hires over the last 2 years is disappointing and ruining a once great thing. read more

We had an amazing enjoyable experience at The Mill. First the decor and ambiance are incredible. If it's a nice night or good weather try to get seating on the lower level. I love low humidity summer or all days when you can eat outside. The service was exceptional. Our waitress was attentive and caring. The other employees were caring and responsive. My son accidentally spilled water everywhere. It was immediately cleaned up and new napkins and utensils brought to us. Even the food runners were polite, greeted you with a warm smile and overall pleasant demeanor. The star of the show was the food! I got the brisket which was one of the best I ever had! Tender and seasoned. The Mac n cheese tasted like it was made by someone's grandma! My wife loved her salmon. The fries were delicious and flavored well. The cocktails were simple exceptional!
