This was a place I found near Shea Medical Center. It was my hubbys birthday and he had to take me to a treatment so I took him here for is birthday. Burgers were fresh, juicy, fries hot and fresh garlic parm and the bacon, cheddar ranch. They came around and gave us a sample of their choc chunk cookie. The Oreo shake was thick and yummy and strawberry lemonade was good too. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We wish there was one closer Buckeye. The place was clean and fun. read more

New spot at the mall!.. or what was once the mall. Been going to PV Mall since '93 so pay a lot of attention when new places pop up. The Melt? Hope it's here to stay. MUST TRY!! I walked into The Melt and loved it. It was so clean and open. Best part, it was empty! Still new, so I assume the crowds will grow, but I enjoyed no lines and great service! I ordered a chicken sandwich and BBQ burger. The chicken sandwich was great; nothing special, just great. The burger tho... Probably top three burgers for me that ive found in the valley. I went here today for lunch. They have a good burger. I got the double melt, and it was huge! I also added an order of fries which also came in a pretty big serving. And while there are Impossible burgers, fancy grilled cheeses, and Mac and cheese options, we've been burned twice where we had a Mac and cheese with bacon mixed in and an "impossible" burger that looked and tasted way too much like a meat burger. Went to l pick up dinner at a The Melt. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, the regular chicken sandwich, a strawberry lemonade. I got complimentary fries of choice for signing up to their rewards program. I choose the garlic Parmesan fries. The food was good. My son is picky about his crispy chicken sandwiches and he approved so we'll add this to the list of places he likes. The spicy chicken was good too. We went to an evening concert at PV Park and The Melt faces the venue. We ordered the Original Melt burger, the BBQ Bacon burger, and sweet potato fries. We agreed it's the best burger we've had since last summer in Wales. The sweet potato fries exceed all other restaurants who attempt to serve them. They have a fresh brand of soft drinks that were delicious! Alameda soda. No High Fructose corn syrup involved. The diet cola was refreshing. And for dessert we split a Snickerdoodle shake. We live a half an hour away in Glendale but would absolutely drive back to experience this food again. Next time we crave a burger you'll find us savoring the food at The Melt. read more

Stopped in during a rainy night time monsoon storm so the place was pretty empty. The good is it's clean. There's seating inside and out. You can order via kiosk or at the counter. Plenty POS machines so ordering should be quick and easy. You can place an order and grab some sort of digital timer and it rings. I was under the impression it gets brought to you but mines just rang as the food sat at the counter. So I got up a got it since it didn't appear it was going to come to me which is fine if that's how they are set up. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. It's a large chicken sandwich which is good for the price. It's definitely filling and it has a good flavor that matches fairly well with the jalapeños. There's a complimentary sliced pickle which is a nice add. My sandwich was cooked well and made pretty quickly, but drenched in sauce. In my opinion way too much sauce. Literally used napkins to wipe away some of it as it was leaking too much. ( The pictures don't show how much sauce dripped on the liner after I picked it up) It made the flavor unbalanced which was then multiplied by the jalapeño making it over the top spicy and hot. A little attention to detail would have made it a much better experience. The plating left something to be desired. It just sits on a aluminum tray with a liner. Mines was drenched with sauce so I had to cover it with napkins to have a dry spot to let it sit while I sip on some water. Definitely good portion size and reasonable prices. Execution aside it's a good choice for a quick bite with friends, family,. co-workers for lunch and late night eating. read more

The fries, although crispy and quite good, needed salt and the burger and Sicilian chicken sandwich were decent but crying out for seasoning. It was a filling meal but not something you would crave.
