Our family loves this spot! Food trucks and ambiance are great! Fricken Faco is one of our favorites but sometimes a Wasabi Dog from Bend Burger is in order.. We like the bench heaters and fire pits in the winter and cold beers and sake in the summer. The dude behind the bar is great, Grant I think? This Sunday however was an older lady we hadn't seen before. She might need a little more training on serving drinks? She cracked my wife's sake without a chilled glass. I mean who drinks sake out of the bottle? When she asked for a chilled glass, the lady grabbed a pint glass that was warm already on the counter. Dirty maybe? I mean, its not a big deal but it always had come with a chilled short glass. When she went back to the counter to ask for a Chilled short glass, the lady was having a full on conversation that lasted a while. A line had started forming behind her and no acknowledgment from the lady behind the bar. Meanwhile, the wife and a guy behind her said forget it and left the line. I mean this cant be good for sales? We'll be back of course because we absolutely love this spot but we'll be more wary of the new lady. read more

The Lot was no longer relevant, once Arizona Avenue opened for business. With places like The Podski, Spok'n Moto, Crosscut Taphouse (located across from the Box Factory), Monkless brewing, CRUX, River Pig Saloon, and many other watering holes and restaurants in and around the Box Factory, it makes no sense to go to Galveston Street to eat and/or drink at places like The Lot. If you are limited on time, and want to see and experience Bend brewpubs and dining, invest your time in and around the Box Factory and Arizona Avenue first. If you have additional time or days in Bend, then maybe check out downtown. Galveston should be your third and final stop if time allows. read more

This is another really amazing spot in bend. For lunch or dinner, come get some great food and grab a beer and find a seat near the fire pits in the covered area. Bend has this way of creating spaces for people to enjoy and this does not disappoint. Especially if you want a variety of options for say your husband and you when you can't decide what to eat, then this place is for you. I mean cmon, this is a permanent food truck lot with a built in bar. Can't go wrong! read more

Hit up both a la carte the falafel/gyro truck. Both were delicious, if a bit overpriced. A la carte had a nice fusion (carne asada, fries, green curry, etc.) selection, overall light and flavorful. A great place to stop with a group, especially with the seating (heated concrete seats!) and a good draft beer selection. Worth a stop if you are fooling around Bend, and have folks with conflicting tastes. read more

We visited Bend from out of town and stopped by the Lot after a day of white water rafting. What an awesome idea. Food trucks surround some nice outdoor seating and offer up a great variety so everyone can be happy. We happened to come by on a Thursday, which apparently is a "live music" night every week. The music was a bit loud (one of the workers commented it was much louder than usual) but nothing unbearable. I had the chicken sandwich from the Brown Owl and my husband had a chicken dish from the Hawaiian truck - can't remember the name unfortunately. Both were delicious! Pretty cool spot, seems like a fun place to get together with friends. We tried the Greek place although weren't very blown away by the food as compared to other Greek places we've tried. But there are other options we're definitely going to try in the future. We looked around at what others were eating and almost everything looked good. Nice seating area where you can get beer and enjoy your food. I can see it getting a little crowded, especially on nice summer nights - so just be mindful of when you come. I love the atmosphere of this place. It is much cleaner feeling, upscale, and well-appointed than your average food cart collection. The heaters/heated seats are wonderful when it is cold as is the shade/shelter nice when hot or rainy. Dog friendly! Two clean bathrooms around back behind the bar! Like all food cart pods, this is perfect for groups since people can all pick whatever they are in the mood for and you don't have the nightmare of splitting a check 6 ways. Evidently there *are* Yelp pages for each of the carts but something is up with them because they aren't all showing the right location on the map and zero show up when looking for nearby places even with all filters turned off. I kind of hate the way Square is trying to change the landscape of tipping but since a buck a drink is a customary tip on alcohol, this instantiation isn't that bad. (I.E. It's better than prompting me to pick between $1/$2/$3 tip on a $1.75 coffee.) read more

Wow. This east coaster visited The Lot and loved the vibe. Beer, great food and music. And...great people. My favorite was Thailandia...awesome pineapple fried rice. When chef talk about layers of flavor this is what they mean. It just goes on and on...plus Ben and Maliwan where great. Maliwan works 13 hrs/7 days dishing out fantastic grub. Put large cash in the top pot! Hawaiian tri-tip was delicious as well. Tender and flavorful. Awesome rice and their sauce fairy walked us through various options. Real food fish tacos were lagging...heavy cheese and light on fish...done! Must stop while in Bend! read more

We went here last night because we were already fans of Bee's Thai Food (now Thailandia food truck) and wanted to check out The Lot and the rest of the food trucks. My boyfriend was really happy about the beer selection because it wasn't what you typically see around town. The atmosphere was relaxed and they had a good playlist playing in the background. There was a high top communal table in the center and low tables around the edges. They have a long table when you walk in that has fire in the center... it was taken of course! The gentleman working the bar informed us that they will be installing a heater that runs the length of the roof and that the benches for the tables will be heated!!! This AZ girl appreciates that. We'll be back to try more food and to drink more beer! read more

Awesome! This place is pretty cool! Perfect for something "different" to do or place to eat. Great music coming through the speakers, multiple beer options on tap, and a food cart for every palate. Also, don't see a huge issue with parking, which I thought there would be. We ate at The Brown Owl. The chef was friendly and helpful, and the menu had variety which surprised me (being a foot truck). The food was delicious! :) I ordered some sort of rice bowl, I only wish they had avocados! My Husband ordered a burrito, which was HUGE! I got a kombucha and my husband ordered a beer from inside...Only one kombucha choice was kind of a bummer. Wish they had more! Also, no ice for water---whats up with that? The water was room temp, and it was a hot day. Maybe just think of it for future.... Other than that, love it! Will most surely go again. :) read more

Best Gyro's in town, even better than a restaurant at the Greek food truck. Pita's always fresh. And the Carne Asada fries at A La Cart, are some the best I've had. Our Airbnb host suggested this spot when we asked if she knew of a place we could grab a drink outdoors and bring our dog. Granted, it was the end of December and cold, so said place also needed heaters and/or fire pit to keep us warm. The Lot hit ALL the marks! Covered, heated, fire pit, food, beer, and dog-friendly - PERFECT! My husband and I were SO impressed with the heated cement benches and our pup was happy to lay on them and keep warm as well! What a fun place! Diverse food selection, great seating (even in winter, the heaters are PHENOMENAL), great music (they know their clientele, clearly -- good down-home bluegrass), great energy (bustling with families, people having fun)... I can imagine it's great in summer, too. I had the Moroccan Chicken and Garbanzo soup from Real Food Street Bistro. I was looking for a small portion that would pack a punch, and it did just that. Great flavor an spice level. Hearty, well thought out ingredients. Would like more cinnamon, cardamom, and sweet potato since it's Moroccan, but I generally like it. If I'd had more of an appetite, I would've gone with the Korean Tacos and Sticky Chicken. Looks like I'll just have to come back! read more

This place is one of my favorite places to take people and everyone who experiences the Lot, returns. My sister showed me the Hawaiian joint Mauna Kea Grill. We had the shredded pork plate with upgraded sriracha macaroni salad. I dream of this food weekly. Then my brother showed me the chow mein at thailandia. Wow! Loved the fresh ingredients that haven't been murdered in a pan, but are incredibly flavorful and fresh tasting (and had to wash it down with a coconut milk thai iced tea). The only downfall to this place is that the service at Thailandia can be a bit chaotic. But most of the time it's fine. Mauna Kea is ALWAYS great! Definitely check this spot out. It combines the Portland food truck obsession, good brews, with quintessential Bend vibes. read more

Really enjoyed this spot. It is perfect for a group that may have differing tastes in food. On a hot day, there is a lot of shaded tables. I chose to have a bacon double cheeseburger (with all fixings that come standard on it) and fries at Burgz and Dogz. All burgers are priced with fries included while all the hot dogs are priced without fries, a $3 side item. I found the burger to be excellent, one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I've ever had. The fries, however, were not fantastic. Not bad, but not real good, either. read more

The Lot is one of our go to places for beer and food year round. With tons of micros on tap and a variety of eats, it's a sure crowd pleaser. I only gave 4 stars because of the lack of floor management, during weekends and breaks this place turns into a daycare with tons of kids screaming and doing hot laps around the property..
