Here to tell you the truth, the food is good. I got the pesto gnocchi with chicken added in. Was some exquisite pasta, but I got charged $10 just to add some chicken in it. So that was a major red flag, $10 for 4 ounces of chicken is crazy, don't get me wrong the chicken breast was good. Ima take accountability, I should've asked how much it is to add the chicken. But I was bewildered by the $10 charge lol. But the menu really didn't impress me, which is why I opted for this item. Like nothing jumped off the page and seemed worth paying a premium for. But, is solid food, try it for yourself but nothing worth going out your way for just your average smaverage American cuisine. Last min reservation was only available very early into dinner service transition so saw some house turn over busyness which is fine. Overall great location and atmosphere in the dinning room, the bar seems to be busy and great company outside of the dinning experience. Definitely need to go back and check that out. Food was amazing on point, apps to entrees kept you wanting more but very happy with the flavors and portions. The items you saw on the menu you wanted to try well you saw coming out the kitchen making you go "yep I want to try that next time". This was our first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint! I love knowing that there is a tapas restaurant as well as a full menu close to where I live. Jasmine was our server and she was so helpful and informative. We ordered the salt roasted beets, bourbon glazed pork belly, pan seared scallops, and seared duck breast. Everything was so incredibly delicious, beautifully presented, and had such amazing flavor! Unfortunately, we forgot to get a picture of the duck breast, but it was also delicious and beautifully presented. Jasmine knew we were going to a movie right after dinner so she ensured we had all of our food and well taken care of so we could get to our movie on time. The best place for happy hour. Don't sleep on the crab dip! Their crab dip has huge chunks of crab paired with crispy pita chips. I love that the pita chips aren't oily and are still fluffy. That alone fills me up and is worth every penny. Their drinks are great. I get the jalapeno cucumber marg but sub it with vodka (I'm not a tequila fan). It's the perfect amount of spice without being overbearing and is super refreshing in the Summer. Love their outside patio that overlooks One Loudon town center. The absolute BEST part of the experience was Madison the bar tender! She is an absolute amazing human being and made our visit so special! Would definitely recommend this spot for small plates, dinner, or even just drinks! We went at about 6:30 on a Saturday night without a reservation, but the host staff was very accommodating and recommended we try the community table! We had a great experience at the community table, but I make a reservation in the future because this place was very busy! I started off with an espresso martini which was great and I also tried the festivus mule , a fun twist on a classic! The mule was really tasty and is a perfect holiday season cocktail. We then ordered the crab dip, which came with crispy pita, the roasted beets, and the sweet potato wedges. All of the small plates were amazing! I also tried the gnocchi, which was the star of the show! It was cooked perfectly in a way that can only be described as "melting in your mouth!" This is one of my favorite restaurants in the One Loudoun area! I love sitting outdoors on their rooftop whenever the weather is nice. They have umbrellas for shade and fans to blow cold air whenever it's too hot out. The service is always great too! The waitresses are friendly and very attentive. I had the deviled eggs for appetizer, BB bowl for entree, and the WTF waffle for dessert. Everything was presented beautifully and full of flavor. We also got the drinks and they weren't too watered down and also not too strong. All of the brunch prices are very fair as well. Everything was around $15 or less per plate and very shareable with family or friends. The bartender named Alam is a liar. He made the conscious choice to lie to my face when I asked him if they had any juicy or hazy IPAs. He said, no but in fact they had at least 2. The warmth of the hospitality from the staff is unmatchable! Despite the number of folks that come through every week the staff makes it a point to greet the guests by name. The bartenders are very attentive & prompt with the service. The venue is a perfect balance of outdoor & indoor seating. Have you heard of the outdoor cigar bar? It gives you a great view of the One Loudoun plaza while still being shielded from the weather because of the plastic protectors & heaters they've hung up all around. Everyone gets here for the comfortable fire pits to gather around with friends. The dishes on the menu are perfect for sharing - highly recommend the crab dip & their HH Nashville fries! I think the reason this place has such high reviews is because it is definitely a locals spot and for people who are in the food service industry and know each other. That being said the ambience is very cute especially inside but the service was kind of slow, as the staff was hanging out with guests that they knew. Food was subpar!! The drinks were good but the food was a miss. The chicken wings were hard and crunchy and had barely any meat and such a small serving! Deviled eggs were lacking flavor immensely. The potato pave was lackluster and the potatoes were grey from sitting out for awhile. The only decent thing I tried was the pea salad. Fresh and tasty. This place was a total miss. The table next to us accidentally got jalapeños in their dish (which we ordered). We weren't able to order from half their menu bc they didn't have the ingredients in stock. It was my first time here tonight and I absolutely loved it. The cocktails were amazing! I had the Mint Julep and the Phuket. Both were incredibly refreshing and light. My partner had the Foxy Mule and the Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita. Both were good, but he definitely preferred the mule. As for the small plates, we sampled the Caesar Salad and the Pork Belly. Both were lovely but the Pork Belly definitely won in my eyes. I definitely can't wait to come back and try out the entrees and desserts. Been dying to try this place since it opened and that day finally came! Wow, I will definitely be back! First off atmosphere is wonderful, reminds me of some of the fun rooftop places in Miami I have been to. Bar area is open and airy and feeds out to a great rooftop patio. There is also a smaller covered outside bar and patio on the side too. Back half of restaurant is cozy and there is a huge fireplace that I can imagine would be great in cooler months. The decor is very warm and inviting and well carried out throughout the whole restaurant (even the bathrooms). The cocktails were great. We tried the Cilantro Jalapeño Margarita, the Mint Julep and the Phuket. They also have Guinness on tap which now that Wild Geese is closed gives us another spot to grab our favorite Irish Beer. The small plates were so good. We had the crab dip (I'm obsessed with the crispy pitas), carpaccio, pork belly and the gnocchi. I'd definitely get all of them again, but will be getting a double order of the gnocchi for an entree. It was probably the best gnocchi I have ever had. Service was amazing! Bartenders were personable, knowledgeable and even though they were busy never made you feel like they didn't have time for you. Servers interacted with guests even when it wasn't their table and it seemed like a nice team player atmosphere. Manager even stopped by to check on us and our experience. We were pleasantly surprised when live music started at 6pm and found out that is a constant for them so we will be back for that too. Delicious food in a cute restaurant! You can order a drink and a couple small dishes and share. Our favorite was the crab dip, it was delicious! The other dishes were all good, they had pretty small portions for the prices but had great flavors. The creme brûlée was amazing, I never had one that had earl grey flavor but it went so well! All the indoor reservations were filled so we walked in and got a spot on the outdoor patio. The only complaint we had was that it was super loud, so we ended up eating quickly and left to converse elsewhere. We went here for my friend's birthday. It was late and we didn't have a reservation but we were able to get a table after about 30 mins. It was pretty busy though our server was friendly and attentive. I got an iron maid (drink not on the menu) and it was delicious and my friends seemed to like their drinks. We got crab dip, grilled peaches, potato pave. They were all good but none really stood out for me. Although the pita chips that come with the dip are hot - so good! I got the pork chop, it was little over cooked but tasty nonetheless. My wife got a summer pasta and seemed to enjoy it. Our friends liked their dishes but weren't overly impressed. Our friend whose birthday it was got the ribeye wasn't impressed though I thought it was cooked perfectly well. They got my friend the creme brulee which we all liked. Beware if you have a service dog. We a relatively big party, but my partner has a trained service dog. We like to give warnings to restaurants to please accommodate us as my partner needs what is literally classified as "medical equipment" by law. Not only was it incredibly hard to contact the store-- our calls were often left with no number to call back and no email-- but after finally reaching the host, she informed us that "we don't have another door" for my disabled partner and their dog to walk through, which made no sense seeing as the service dog is perfectly capable of walking through the door and restaurant with us. Then, due to being a large party, they informed us to contact them via email, which we did, but they instead said that our dog "needs to wear a vest" which is actually illegal to do. We have no problem with vesting the dog, but the Americans with Disabilities Act states that service dogs are not required to wear a vest or be marked. If they had denied us access on the basis of a vest, they would have been in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. All in all, it was just too complicated for us to manage going to the restaurant and we chose to save ourselves the trouble. For the sake of other disabled people who benefit from the assistance of a service dog, the staff of this restaurant should really educate themselves on the Americans with Disabilities Act and the rights of disabled people. read more
