Last min reservation was only available very early into dinner service transition so saw some house turn over busyness which is fine. Overall great location and atmosphere in the dinning room, the bar seems to be busy and great company outside of the dinning experience. Definitely need to go back and check that out. Food was amazing on point, apps to entrees kept you wanting more but very happy with the flavors and portions. The items you saw on the menu you wanted to try well you saw coming out the kitchen making you go "yep I want to try that next time". Overall need to head back soon to try more and experience with friends. read more

I went for Sunday brunch with a friend. The service was really great and the atmosphere can't be beat. We both ordered off the brunch menu and while I had the wrong dish delivered, the server was amazing about it and got it corrected very quickly. I would definitely go back. read more

Great space and outdoor seating area. Lots of comfy seats. We were there on Sat and the live band was great! I ordered the wings and it was way too salty. The old fashioned was good not great. I would come back again to try other dishes and hang out. read more

This was our first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint! I love knowing that there is a tapas restaurant as well as a full menu close to where I live. Jasmine was our server and she was so helpful and informative. We ordered the salt roasted beets, bourbon glazed pork belly, pan seared scallops, and seared duck breast. Everything was so incredibly delicious, beautifully presented, and had such amazing flavor! Unfortunately, we forgot to get a picture of the duck breast, but it was also delicious and beautifully presented. Jasmine knew we were going to a movie right after dinner so she ensured we had all of our food and well taken care of so we could get to our movie on time. We sat out on their patio which was beautifully decorated and heated very nicely with fire pits. Absolutely wonderful experience! We will most definitely return! read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the One Loudoun area! I love sitting outdoors on their rooftop whenever the weather is nice. They have umbrellas for shade and fans to blow cold air whenever it's too hot out. The service is always great too! The waitresses are friendly and very attentive. I had the deviled eggs for appetizer, BB bowl for entree, and the WTF waffle for dessert. Everything was presented beautifully and full of flavor. We also got the drinks and they weren't too watered down and also not too strong. All of the brunch prices are very fair as well. Everything was around $15 or less per plate and very shareable with family or friends. I guess the only downside is that you need to be 21 and over to enter, but I absolutely love this because that means no loud crying kids! read more

Another late night and need a dinner option Stumbled upon The Lost Fox Definitely has a night life crowd I noticed that the clientele actually changed as the night progressed from business-business casual-hipster The staff is inviting The menu consists of a variety of meats with gluten free options and vegan as well I always check out the bar options Ordered The aloha drink & the Jalapeño cucumber Margarita Moved on to Nothin but crab dip with house made pita chips Old bay spiced chicken was another appetizer we ordered For dinner I ordered the pork chop with the center bone in well done.. seasoned lightly and was moist **note I could only eat 1/2 nice portion I also got the Mac n cheese...it had a potato chip type crust (different not bad) Also ordered the braised collard greens (I'll pass) The citrus shrimp were really good ... had a spicy barbecue sauce Our server was really bubbly and the manager greeted each table and interacted within the staff also Nice place for date Will return read more

The best place for happy hour. Don't sleep on the crab dip! Their crab dip has huge chunks of crab paired with crispy pita chips. I love that the pita chips aren't oily and are still fluffy. That alone fills me up and is worth every penny. Their drinks are great. I get the jalapeno cucumber marg but sub it with vodka (I'm not a tequila fan). It's the perfect amount of spice without being overbearing and is super refreshing in the Summer. Love their outside patio that overlooks One Loudon town center. It's fresh and airy feeling with their all white and tan decor. read more

Would definitely recommend this spot for small plates, dinner, or even just drinks! We went at about 6:30 on a Saturday night without a reservation, but the host staff was very accommodating and recommended we try the community table! We had a great experience at the community table, but I make a reservation in the future because this place was very busy! I started off with an espresso martini which was great and I also tried the festivus mule , a fun twist on a classic! The mule was really tasty and is a perfect holiday season cocktail. We then ordered the crab dip, which came with crispy pita, the roasted beets, and the sweet potato wedges. All of the small plates were amazing! I also tried the gnocchi, which was the star of the show! It was cooked perfectly in a way that can only be described as "melting in your mouth!" The sauce was to die for and I could not suggest this highly enough!! Everything came out very quickly and our server was very attentive. The ambiance of this establishment was very fun for a weekend! There was good music and fun lighting. It was a little loud and definitely more of a bar scene than an intimate restaurant, but it was perfect for what we were looking for! read more

Went for the first time with friends to celebrate my birthday, the food was good but it was way too loud! We could not even enjoy conversation because we had to shout to hear each other. read more

Food was delicious but so loud you couldn't even talk to each other. Between the noise from the bar and the table screaming to hear each other, it was disappointing. read more

Friends told me I had to visit this and I'm glad I did! I got the Phuket cocktail and ordered a bunch of appetizers. Scallops, shrimp, pork belly and the duck breast. The olive oil cake was recommended by our server Sosa and it was amazing. She had a great personality and very professional. I love the outdoor seating. After 10pm it gets pretty loud as it seems to be the new IT place in One Loudoun. read more

My brother picked this place out for a bday dinner for my mom. It's located in one loudoun with super cozy decor. We sat inside although they have outdoor seating looking over One Loudoun. Food was great and seasonal, delicious drinks and the manager came around to make sure everyone was doing ok. The waitress mentioned their menu would change at the end of the month so I'm looking forward to going back and seeing menu updates. read more

The trout dip was sneaky awesome and the burger is probably one of my favorite ever. Love this place

Ordered burger, wings, peas, ceviche, and pork belly. 21 and up only so my son had to wait outside while I ate. Just kidding I convinced the hostess that my 4 year old just turned 21 this year. Just kidding I ordered take out. Pretty average tapas place but slightly above restaurant in general. Too much bar style food. Good place to get drunk and eat but not as good if you only want to eat. Pork belly was the only standout. read more

Here to tell you the truth, the food is good. I got the pesto gnocchi with chicken added in. Was some exquisite pasta, but I got charged $10 just to add some chicken in it. So that was a major red flag, $10 for 4 ounces of chicken is crazy, don't get me wrong the chicken breast was good. Ima take accountability, I should've asked how much it is to add the chicken. But I was bewildered by the $10 charge lol. But the menu really didn't impress me, which is why I opted for this item. Like nothing jumped off the page and seemed worth paying a premium for. But, is solid food, try it for yourself but nothing worth going out your way for just your average smaverage American cuisine. The ambience is alright not sure what asthethic they were going for but food is solid nonetheless. Def doesn't live up to the hype of its yelp rating. Ashburn area lacks good eats so, it def is better than a lot of the sit down options around there. Signing off-Ish read more

We decided to patron Lost Fox on a lovely Sunday afternoon and boy am I glad that I did!!! We had a few lovely mock tales at the bar and TRULY enjoyed them!! The absolute BEST part of the experience was Madison the bar tender! She is an absolute amazing human being and made our visit so special! She is such a great conservationist and will go VERY far in life! I would have NEVER expected the afternoon to be this perfect! Madison is so attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly cares about everything she does! She has a wonderful personality and I am so glad we had the chance to meet her! Thank you for helping make our experience 10x! read more

The warmth of the hospitality from the staff is unmatchable! Despite the number of folks that come through every week the staff makes it a point to greet the guests by name. The bartenders are very attentive & prompt with the service. The venue is a perfect balance of outdoor & indoor seating. Have you heard of the outdoor cigar bar? It gives you a great view of the One Loudoun plaza while still being shielded from the weather because of the plastic protectors & heaters they've hung up all around. Everyone gets here for the comfortable fire pits to gather around with friends. The dishes on the menu are perfect for sharing - highly recommend the crab dip & their HH Nashville fries! They have some of the most interesting & delicious cocktails (pics attached) that are crowd favorites! And, did I mention they have DJs throughout the weekend! Not only on Fri & Sat nights after 10pm but for Sun brunch at noon! Drop by as a visitor & you'll soon become a regular! ;-) read more

In the outskirts of DC lies a culinary retreat that has captured the imagination and taste buds of Virginia's discerning diners: Lost Fox Hideaway. We originally came with a group a few months ago and I stopped by a few times since. Below are my thoughts. This aptly named restaurant offers a respite from the fast-paced urban environment, presenting patrons with a menu that seamlessly weaves together comfort food with elevated techniques and ingredients. As we always do we shared each others three picks to have the ability to get a true flavor of this hideaway The star of the appetizers is the Hot Buttered Crab Roll, featuring handpicked, unpasteurized jumbo lump crab, seasoned with Old Bay and adorned with pickled red onions. This dish is a symphony of flavors and textures, celebrating the delicate sweetness of the crab while providing a subtle, tangy contrast from the onions. Pasta lovers will rejoice in Lost Fox Hideaway's array of Italian-inspired dishes. The Gnocchi, with its tender potato dumplings, is enveloped in a rich pistachio pesto and finished with a sprinkling of Grana Padano. The Angel Hair Carbonara pays homage to the classic dish while incorporating an array of green vegetables - haricot verts, snow peas, snap peas, and English peas - enhanced by sun-dried tomatoes and a touch of Riesling, all topped with Grana Padano. A standout among the entrees is the Trotolle, which harmoniously melds the flavors of the South with Italian influences. Cajun shrimp and andouille sausage are nestled among the pasta, with scallions and a tomato shallot cream sauce that adds depth and richness to the dish. The Lamb Neck Ragu, a bold and innovative offering, showcases the tenderness and succulence of braised lamb neck atop creamy buttermilk grits. This dish is a testament to the kitchen's ability to transform lesser-known cuts of meat into unforgettable culinary experiences. Lost Fox Hideaway's selection of steaks is equally impressive, with options like the 8oz Grilled Creekstone Farms Hanger Steak, 14oz Grilled Glenmary Farm Ribeye, and 8oz Roasted Glenmary Farm Filet Mignon. All of these cuts are expertly prepared and can be accompanied by a choice of au poivre, béarnaise, or lemon shallot butter sauce. Sides such as mac & cheese, hand-cut fries, and Caesar salad provide a sense of familiarity and comfort, rounding out a menu that is both inspired and accessible. Lost Fox Hideaway is a true gastronomic treasure, tucked away amidst the city's bustling streets. Its menu is a testament to the power of creative culinary thinking, as it elevates familiar dishes with unexpected ingredients and techniques, leaving diners eager to return for more culinary adventures read more

Great ambiance and drinks. Food is okay. Love the scene though. If you're single and between 40 and 60, this is your place. I WILL BE BACK! read more

I think the reason this place has such high reviews is because it is definitely a locals spot and for people who are in the food service industry and know each other. That being said the ambience is very cute especially inside but the service was kind of slow, as the staff was hanging out with guests that they knew. Food was subpar!! The drinks were good but the food was a miss. The chicken wings were hard and crunchy and had barely any meat and such a small serving! Deviled eggs were lacking flavor immensely. The potato pave was lackluster and the potatoes were grey from sitting out for awhile. The only decent thing I tried was the pea salad. Fresh and tasty. This place was a total miss. Would not recommend to local foodies! Won't be back. read more

The food is incredibly salty!!! The French dip - completely tastes like a salt mine. The French fries are doused in salt as well. Lamb chops were over cooked and also a salt bath - can hardly taste the actual meal. The staff, ambiance and drinks are great! read more

Seated at once by a charming waiter, I ordered satanic eggs. The pig sacrificed to top off these eggs as bacon were crispy and small. Super cute place with really good food (for an amazing price). I can't really pick a favorite dish here because they were all good but the ones they stood out were the pork belly, the chicken and waffles and the heirloom tomatoes. It was my first time here tonight and I absolutely loved it. The cocktails were amazing! I had the Mint Julep and the Phuket. Both were incredibly refreshing and light. My partner had the Foxy Mule and the Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita. Both were good, but he definitely preferred the mule. As for the small plates, we sampled the Caesar Salad and the Pork Belly. Both were lovely but the Pork Belly definitely won in my eyes. I definitely can't wait to come back and try out the entrees and desserts. The service was very fast and friendly- Shea was an amazing bartender! read more

Been dying to try this place since it opened and that day finally came! Wow, I will definitely be back! First off atmosphere is wonderful, reminds me of some of the fun rooftop places in Miami I have been to. Bar area is open and airy and feeds out to a great rooftop patio. There is also a smaller covered outside bar and patio on the side too. Back half of restaurant is cozy and there is a huge fireplace that I can imagine would be great in cooler months. The decor is very warm and inviting and well carried out throughout the whole restaurant (even the bathrooms). The cocktails were great. We tried the Cilantro Jalapeño Margarita, the Mint Julep and the Phuket. They also have Guinness on tap which now that Wild Geese is closed gives us another spot to grab our favorite Irish Beer. The small plates were so good. We had the crab dip (I'm obsessed with the crispy pitas), carpaccio, pork belly and the gnocchi. I'd definitely get all of them again, but will be getting a double order of the gnocchi for an entree. It was probably the best gnocchi I have ever had. Service was amazing! Bartenders were personable, knowledgeable and even though they were busy never made you feel like they didn't have time for you. Servers interacted with guests even when it wasn't their table and it seemed like a nice team player atmosphere. Manager even stopped by to check on us and our experience. We were pleasantly surprised when live music started at 6pm and found out that is a constant for them so we will be back for that too. I hope these guys continue to do well because this is definitely going to be one of our go to spots. read more

Everything about it! The food, drinks, atmosphere, service --it's all amazing! We tried the charcuterie, glazed carrots, gnocchi, chicken wings, duck breast and pork belly small plates--I vote yes! On all of them. The tomahawk and the burger are just perfection. Our server Jenna was the absolute best and the manager, Matt was just so friendly. The Lost Fox is an absolute must. read more

Great outdoor bar where those of us that want to enjoy a drink and a cigar can still go!

Tried to book on OpenTable but it stated that our party of 5 was "too large" and advised to call the restaurant directly. Did that and was told that the majority of their tables are for 4 persons. I was then told that I could contact the banqueting manager.......! Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. read more

Delicious food in a cute restaurant! You can order a drink and a couple small dishes and share. Our favorite was the crab dip, it was delicious! The other dishes were all good, they had pretty small portions for the prices but had great flavors. The creme brûlée was amazing, I never had one that had earl grey flavor but it went so well! All the indoor reservations were filled so we walked in and got a spot on the outdoor patio. The only complaint we had was that it was super loud, so we ended up eating quickly and left to converse elsewhere. It might have been just the crowd there that day, I would go back if I had another chance. read more

We went here for my friend's birthday. It was late and we didn't have a reservation but we were able to get a table after about 30 mins. It was pretty busy though our server was friendly and attentive. I got an iron maid (drink not on the menu) and it was delicious and my friends seemed to like their drinks. We got crab dip, grilled peaches, potato pave. They were all good but none really stood out for me. Although the pita chips that come with the dip are hot - so good! I got the pork chop, it was little over cooked but tasty nonetheless. My wife got a summer pasta and seemed to enjoy it. Our friends liked their dishes but weren't overly impressed. Our friend whose birthday it was got the ribeye wasn't impressed though I thought it was cooked perfectly well. They got my friend the creme brulee which we all liked. The olive oil cake is their version of strawberry shortcake and I thought it was delicious. All in all I would go back. read more

They threw out my friend's water from her water bottle before entering in. The coffee creamer was chunky and smelled sour. The table next to us accidentally got jalapeños in their dish (which we ordered). We weren't able to order from half their menu bc they didn't have the ingredients in stock. And they were strict with not allowing substitutions either (probably bc they didn't have anything). What we did end up ordering left us still hungry. The only reason they even got a few stars was bc our server was really nice and the dining room was festive for the holidays. read more
