Good pub atmosphere and tasty bar food. I tried the chicken strips and fries. Not bad. Good barside service with several TVs to choose from. In a very crowded neighborhood, this is a solid 3* option.

The food was really good and the servers were fantastic. Everyone was nice, the overall atmosphere was calm. It's a small place but it's really good. If you're ever in the area I would definitely suggest trying it out!

Stumbled upon this place after a failed attempt to the Boardroom lol. The place was quiet, but sports game were playing on low. The restaurant made accommodations for a party of 10 as walk-ins. We arrived maybe around 9PM. We were told the kitchen was closed, but we were able to order desserts along with regular drinks. Street parking. Maybe a 5-8 min walk to the nearest Metro

Went for the trivia with a group of friends, and it was great. A little cramped but nothing you can really do about that and a testament to how popular the spot is! I got the happy hour sliders and ordered late, 5 minutes before it ended (that's on me). The sliders were all that were left but still came out a reasonable and the waiter was friendly, serving both myself and my friends drinks and food. It was so good, my pal went to snatch a bite from a Reuben of another friend! Highly recommend, especially if you like trivia!

English Pub to it's core. Unpretentious pub that is cozy and lively. Highly recommend the chili with sour cream or cheese. Sliders are good. The onion rings (so yummy) have an amazing gluten free crust. Didn't try pickles but was told they use same crust. This is the place to watch DC United away games!

Fish and chips were great. Good place for live music or to watch a sports game. The staff was very nice too.

No food. No kitchen. No good. Don't believe the claim they have food. What a waste of time.

Good beer, solid pub food, great service. If you want a good pub, this is it. We've been a number of times and it's always excellent.

No food, no signage or announcement that there's no food, and now there's no gluten free bar food in DC

Decent little pub, but no food. All postings show a full British menu. They send you next door for pizza!

My husband is a die-had Arsenal fan and was overjoyed by the chaotic bar scene he encountered as soon as he entered. The City + Arsenal game had the entire bar packed with fans from both sides pulling up random seats wherever there was a free space. We came a bit late into the game but found a seat in a quieter area of the restaurant that still had good television access. With the dreary rain outside, it felt like we had settled right in a proper British pub! Food wise: - For my husband: Wings were generous, grilled, and delicious with interesting flavors - For me: Fish and chips were light, flakey, and came with some of the best house cut fries I've ever had. - For the kiddos: Although they had a kids menu, my daughters decided to split some pancakes (basically crepes with raspberries and cream sauce, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Portions are more than generous and the managers were bustling around, talking shop, and thanking everyone who walked through their door. We will definitely be back!

They have a large beer, wine, and liquor list (although not nearly as many English beers as I expected from a place called Crown & Crow). I won't deny that I wasn't a fan of either of the mixed cocktails I had, with both (including strangely a smoky drink) being too sweet. But the beer was expertly poured and the wine was a very generous serving. The prices are also more than reasonable, which is great for a DC bar. But what really elevates this place is the service. By late night, the place was jam packed. But each and every bartender was extremely friendly and they expertly worked the crowd, getting drinks served quickly (which too few places manage to do) and swiftly clearing off tables of dirty glasses. I also greatly appreciated the free goldfish that they happily dole out to the patrons. The staff made this a really good time.

The bartender in that area was friendly, but unhelpful, directing us to use the front room's bartender, even though she wasn't busy when we approached and asked for a couple of drinks. The bartender in the main room was great, he was very friendly and once he started a tab for me he said I could use the other bar too, I guess he wasn't aware the bartender at that other bar already told me she wouldn't help me. Regardless, the drinks we had were decent. For small bites, they only had gold fish crackers, I wish they would have had more to nosh on while drinking. Overall, not a bad visit.
