    Cajun Grilled Chicken Alfredo

Met promptly, seated promptly. The Cajun chicken Alfredo was fantastic! Normally my lunch haunt but my schedule hasn't allowed. Tonight, dinner and it was worth the trip. Try it, you'll like it.

Came here as it was one of the few restaurants near our hotel by the airport. The area around the restaurant looks bleak. When you enter, it's pretty cute. The entrance looks like a library--that's where it ends. I felt like it would've been cooler if the rest of the place was decorated like a library too. There were a good amount of people coming to eat dinner. The wait was long, around 35 minutes for our food. Our group of 3 each got a ribeye. For my side, I got a Caesar salad and mashed potatoes. The ribeye had quite a bit of fat on it, but after a long travel day, it was quite good. Our server apologized several times for the wait. She was very friendly. Overall I think the Library can use a refresher in terms of looks but it's otherwise a solid spot for a hearty dinner.

Decided to try this place for dinner since it looked like the only niceish restaurant within walking distance of my airport hotel. It's a cool building. The themed decoration is strongest in the foyer, but the whole restaurant has a charm to it. There are a few rooms in the house which are somewhat secluded from each other, and I was in the bar area with just a handful of tables, which made the place feel less busy to me than it actually was - I was surprised at how quiet it was on a Friday night until I was leaving and saw that there were more diners in other areas of the restaurant that weren't visible from my seat. The food was pretty good. I first ordered a draft oat stout by New Holland Brewing, which was a very nice beer poured perfectly. Complimentary bread and pesto were brought out before my entree. The bread was so good - it was very soft and fresh, brushed with a flavourful herb butter. My entree was the vegan puttanesca. The dish had a good variety of vegetables all cooked well, and the marinara sauce was tasty (lots of garlic) but so brothy that I felt like I needed a spoon to eat it, but alas no spoon was provided. The waitress did offer more bread but I didn't feel hungry enough, so I declined and just tried to get as much as I could with my fork. The cheesecake with chocolate sauce for dessert was very good too - the cheesecake was rich and a little tangy but not overly dense or sweet. I appreciated that their dessert menu has both smaller and larger desserts, so I could get something from the small bites menu for just myself. I think my entree was too expensive for what it was - chickpea pasta and vegetables in marinara sauce - but the prices made more sense for the drinks, dessert, and meat/seafood entrees. The service throughout the meal was great. My waitress was attentive and very nice. She checked in often to see if I needed anything else but was also patient with me and other parties. The hostess was also pleasant. I didn't have to wait long after ordering to get my food either. Given that its located right by a handful of airport hotels, I expected more of a traveler vibe, but it seemed like the crowd was mostly locals, which actually makes sense to me after my visit. It's a really nice, kind of old-school place with good food, and it could fit the bill whether you want a casual but quality meal, or a nice night out.

Great spot! We all enjoyed everything! Service was solid and appreciated. Great job! The food was on spot tasty! We destroyed the maple bourbon chops! Great drink options too. The ambiance was clean upscale!

Stopped at this place for a quick lunch while driving through town.Wasn't quite sure what to expect. The front entrance decorated uniquely. The sitting area was a large open room that felt a little too spacious for dining. Did not give a comfortable feel. The waitress was very personable and the food was good for what we had ordered, a salad and a wrap.

    Cajun Shrimp Alfredo

I absolutely love this place. The ambience is so different but pleasant. The waitress was very attentive, polite and knowledgeable of the menu. She made great suggestions. We started with the stuffed shrimp which is a MUST! It is delicious. (I didn't get a pic) The hubby got the Cajun shrimp Alfredo was was very good but it did need salt. The Cajun was on point but no salt. My salmon was good. There was a lot of the cheese that they use which has a bold flavor so I didn't eat a lot of it but the flavor and cooking was spot on. Juicy salmon! The green beans were amazing although they could've used salt too. The potatoes were soooooo good. Looking for a different place to go w/ great food and service this is your spot!

The place is pretty with a nice bar area and the ambiance is nice with good lighting. We sat in one of the booths which was dirty but on the plus side love the privacy of them. To start the food took a long time to come which is always understandable and sometimes expected at fine dining, but was not worth the wait or price. First, the steak was said to be good, but the asparagus side was underwhelming with little to no seasoning/ butter. The lamb chops come with Alfredo pasta and was not seasoned and just not good. We had three orders of those so everybody can't be wrong. The shrimp and linguine pasta was dry with no sauce at all. On top of that the noodles were brittle and hard. I asked if we could have more sauce which helped a little bit. But i could not eat it because the noodles themselves were hard and dry and i did not want to send anything back because of the company i had. The presentation was pretty but the execution did not land. We also got espresso martinis and raspberry martinis and those were made well. For a place like this you just expect a little more pizazz and things to be on point! Especially at the price point they are at i expect everything to be tasty and saucy and flavorful and juicy. Can skip this one.

I ordered a filet with a sweet whiskey sauce. We shared broccolini, carrots, French onion mac n chz and au gratin potatoes. I ordered my steak medium and it came out closer to medium well-well. The sauce was super sweet but different. The French onion Mac surprised me ...it was better than I expected. The other sides were decent. Lastly we had dessert to go.
