Stopped here for pre-dinner drinks on a night out celebrating my upcoming birthday. I don't usually go to cocktail bars, but I was excited about this new local spot and wanted to support a new business in the area.
The interior is cozy and simple. Not too busy, not to loud, it was perfect for hanging out with family and sharing a drink. We tried 3 different drinks off the menu. Hands down the best one was the paper plane. It was bourbon based, I don't recall everything else that was in it, but it was very tasty.
I got the lazy river, which was basically a mezcal tequila sunrise. While it was tasty, I felt like the flavor was a little weak. I like strong drinks though, so this may just be a matter of personal taste.
What really made the visit for us though was the service. It was very friendly, very comfortable, definitely has a good vibe for a neighborhood spot. I suspect it will be a huge success. Will definitely be back once they get their kitchen up and running. read more
