It's a vibe

This is a great summer bar. You can feel the sand in your toes. Order by QR code and meet someone's dog. Food can be ordered in from Raffy's or Glizzy's.

HAMPDEN WOODER ICE $10 (Blueberry-flavored) contains white & orange-flavored rum, lemon, blueberry Flavor and topped with lemon-lime soda

Hampden Yards is a cute little patio beer garden that I would definitely love to come back to with my dog, Chronos. They have plenty of outdoor seating you can order at the bar or scan the QR code at your table and they will bring you your drink right to you. The service is pretty fast and if you need any customization, they are usually kind enough to accommodate if you comment what you want on your order. The lighting makes this place very welcoming. They also have a foosball table, cornhole, and some board/card games as well. Street parking is very limited, however. I got the Hampden Wooder Ice for $10 that comes in cherry, passionfruit or blueberry flavor. I got mine in the blueberry flavor and it came with Blanco rum, orange-flavored rum, lemon, and topped with lemon lime soda. I asked for Prosecco instead of the lemon lime soda, and they did accommodate for that which I thought was very kind of them. They do offer some light bites. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and do not take reservations. Their seating is on a first come first serve basis. In addition to being dog friendly, they are also kid-friendly as well. Their upper deck is covered so when it rains that's the place to be. I will definitely be back with some friends for a good time at Hampden Yards.

Beer pong in the outdoor area

I had always heard about this spot but never had a chance to stop by until last weekend. I came here for a fundraiser (Pong for Pencils) which was a beer pong tournament raising funds for teachers. The set up is super nice with a large outdoor area full of tables with umbrellas and an upper, covered pavilion with a bar. It was towards the end of their season (since this place is totally outdoors and closes for the winter months) so I was told their selection of drinks was limited. They only had beer at this point in the season and being gluten free, I was hoping to see some ciders or seltzers. The staff was really nice about it though and accommodated me with a grapefruit crush which was delicious. Toni definitely knows how to make a very solid crush! I really liked the vibe here and I'm excited to come back next season to see the place in full swing.

The pros: super cute patio, drinks that are DRANKIN, supporting local people, sweet and quick waitresses. The cons: not comfortable seating ( you are on wooden benches), the food is really expensive for what you get (but it is tasty), the non alcoholic drinks are 4-5 dollars more expensive that the actual cocktails. If you're wanting to grab a good cocktail after work, this is a great place to do it. But I wouldn't say that this is a place to do anything more than that. I was bummed that the NA options were so much pricier than the alcoholic things.

I've been wanting to visit here since it first opened & finally was in the area during their business hours. Seating is open and there weren't many people there besides a reserved party. This place gives backyard party vibes. I ordered the Hampden Wooder Ice drink. Service was quick. Enjoyed this drink and like the ice they use (it's like Chic Fil A ice, for reference) Wish they had some seating with backs. There were only picnic table benches & bar stools.

What a great spot for a drink and a meal! It's tucked away so I feel like you might miss it if you were just passing by. I got two aperol spritzes - a perfect summer drink (photo attached - loved the cute aperol spritz cup too). I also got a hot dog with no bun since I'm GF - they were happy to accommodate. Lots of seating, fast service, can't wait to return!

Great addition to the Hampden neighborhood! I came with a friend to check out Hampden Yards pretty close to when they opened, so we were able to get a picnic table. I could definitely see if getting crowded as the evening goes on! I liked the convenient ordering system through the QR code. It makes it super easy if you want to pay separately. They have a decent selection of cans, cocktails, and beer! I tried two different beers that I enjoyed. I've seen great things about their cocktails but have not tried any (yet!). Food-wise we ordered a burger and hot-dog and split it so we could try a little of each. They were both really good! They also come with a bag of chips. I think the food is a tad expensive for what you get. Also, I think they should make it more clear when the kitchen opens. We got to Hampden Yards around 4 and were confused as to why we didn't see the burgers/hotdogs on the QR code menu, but it was because the kitchen opens at 5. They do have other food you can purchase before the kitchen opens (pretzels, charcuterie boards, chips). It's completely possible the kitchen hours are posted somewhere and I just missed it though. Great atmosphere to have a few drinks and laid back food!

Great vibes and service. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The customer service was great and the drinks were excellent. We stopped by for a quick drink before we went to the movies and will definitely return soon.

Hampden Yards Beer Garden is a seasonal beer garden in ... you guessed it ... Hampden. I'm giving it four stars for ambiance and location. The location is super convenient, and the outdoor-only seating is great - tons of tables, TVs playing sports, and turf underfoot. They offer a large menu of food and drinks. I'm not usually impressed by their drinks (overly sweet and not too interesting, generally speaking), but I do appreciate that they have food (including a charcuterie box, which I think is such a cute and delicious idea)! The service is good (friendly), but it's an order from a QR code on the table kind of place, so there's less interaction with staff than at other bars. It's seasonal - closed in winter - but they post when they open and close on their Instagram page. Definitely check it out when it's open and the weather is nice. A really fun place to have a drink or hang with friends when the weather is nice!

My partner and I grabbed a couple of drinks before going to our dinner reservation and had such an amazing time! Such a great date night spot. There was plenty of seating available! The drinks were great and so was the cute. I love all the details in decor and the layout. It's very inviting! The drinks were great too! I love the games they have available for adults and/or kids. Definitely coming back!

I love this addition to the neighborhood! Its such a fun spot to pop in and have a drink and some snacks. I have been a few times since they opened and I always have a great time. I like that its open seating which encourages you to make friends which is always nice. The ordering from your phone and it being brought to your seat is nice, it cuts out having to wait for a check or staff but it also sucks because no one is then checking on your table. I love how they have seemed to master draft cocktails. Usually when places have cocktails on draft they arent well balanced and usually sweet.. These taste like a mixologist created each one. The staff has always been very welcoming and great to me and the space speaks for itself! Get out there and enjoy before the weather completely changes.

New beer garden in the hampden area with outdoor seating with covered umbrellas. Picnic table set up with QR code at each table for easy ordering. Order and they'll bring out your drinks. Lots of beer on draft and cocktail menu as well (drinks are decent but on the sweet side, unfortunately without a server, hard to make alterations). Family friendly and dog friendly with some lawn games. Food: chips, salsa/guacamole, burgers, snacks. There's a food truck making burgers and can get backed up (so beware and order first thing when u get there). Very average food. Feels like your usual backyard BBQ fare. Ambience: relaxed and casual. You often share picnic tables with strangers. Going back likelihood: high, nice casual spot to hang out to begin the night or just to sit outside and enjoy the weather.

Cute meetup location before grabbing food elsewhere. Their drink list is on-point and the tequila drinks pack a bunch. Worth a visit but bring your bug spray! *Lots of space to sit/stand. *Unisex bathrooms.

Super friendly bartenders, dog friendly, and great vibe! Great for a summer night. We ordered pizza delivery since they don't do food.

And I love that they give back to the community in areas such as education, community and philanthropy. Stopped in this past Saturday with a bunch of my gym friends. I love that their tap list offers a little bit of everything for everyone, from classic lagers and IPA to house ciders. I am a Pilsner girl, so their Pilsner was my fave. I love that they do weekly events such as Trivia and open mic nights to name a few as well as host a few several food trucks out back. Oh and this is the spot where they have that really nice flea market as well. You have to check their Instagram page to see which food trucks will be serving food. Saturday they had empanadas from Aru Aru, which were very yummy and made fresh to order. Best spot if you are a beer connoisseur, great place for happy hours and is accommodating for large parties. Plus you bring your own cards and board games to play as well. I will so definitely return.

The old church and architecture is so warm and inviting-- it was still decorated and lit for Christmas so it felt extra festive. It WAS weird to see the brew tanks at the front of the old church, where the altar would have been. But it also places the beer on the altar of our Friday night so I was OK with that. I had an American Pale Ale, the husband had a Kolsch. My beer was exceptional and delicious. My husband said the kolsch was OK. They also have a cute space with books and board games! As well as a cool merchandise wall with excellent cool t-shirts. I had to restrain myself. There is no kitchen or food served here. Order at the bar and sit where you want, there are plenty of tables and a lot of elbow space. The folks at the bar are Super Nice and you should tip them well. They told me there is usually a food truck that shows up at an undisclosed time in the evening. We did order some fantastic pretzels (w/ smoked gouda) and waited some more but ultimately had to go find a meal elsewhere. We will be back, perhaps in warmer weather to wait out the food truck and have more beer. Also, we were there for happy hour so our beers were $5! Thank you to all of the kind people at The Ministry of Brewing! We will be back.

Great service, excellent cocktail and mocktail selection, and delicious island-fusion cuisine!…read more I visited The Duchess during Restaurant Week and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance is beautiful, with a vintage yet elegant feel, a cozy fireplace, and stunning chandeliers. Tessa, the general manager, was warm and welcoming, and our server, Zoe, was kind, attentive, and very helpful in guiding us through the menu. The food was fantastic! I highly recommend the Short Rib Kare Kare, the broccolini, and the award-winning Crispy Shrimp & Corn Patties. For dessert the chocolate Namalaka was a fave!

We came here for the Mother's day course - overall pretty good but not impressive…read more Appetizers were okay, not impressive. Arepa was not that good, corn flatbread wasn't good and very dry. The crispy shrimp and corn patties were like a crispy takoyaki so actually pretty good and the Mac and caviar was like a cold macaroni salad also pretty good just not impressive for a nice dinner. Was really looking forward to trying their duck confit chilakiles, but they ran out unfortunately. A little surprising since it's many hours before they close. I was considering coming again to try the duck confit, but after trying everything else I'm not sure it's worth the drive here since I'm not from the baltimore area. Their grilled ahi tuna was done well and the sauce was really good. The garlic soy shrimp pancit had good textures and flavour as well. The nori butter tteokbokki was lacking in flavour a little. Missed a bit of acidity to balance out the cream. Desserts were also just okay. I'm usually a sweets person, but I was kind of disappointed. The carrot mochi cake was strange, the texture was good, but the flavours did not mesh well together and I was confused what I was eating. The latiya was dry. The shaved ice was pretty refreshing but not impressing. The Ube flan was good though!
