What, a disappointment. Looking for an old school dive bar in the neighborhood. Friendly bartender, good drinks, and nice AC on a hot summer day. Went out for a smoke, and when my friend and I left afterwards, they shared that some racist comments were overheard (I'm not black, but my wife is, although she wasn't with us). Good thing I wasn't inside to hear it, because it would have been a problem. So, won't be coming back here and thought I'd let the rest of Baltimore, know what kind of customers, frequent this place. If they're comfortable being racist, the bar must play a part, in their comfort level. So long! read more

So typically I wouldn't even write a review for a bar like this because if you look up the definition of dive bar then you pretty much have it. We were looking to grab a drink nearby but wasn't able to get a seat so we wandered off in search of something different and stumbled upon this place. You can tell everyone else knew each other and we were the clear outsiders. Between a regular playing hai favorites on the jukebox, the pool table never being empty and folks sitting at the slots the place was full of energy. The bartender was really personable and had a heavy hand so drinks were great and cheap. They are cash only and don't run tabs so be prepared but enjoy. read more

What a nice friendly place to go for lunch. I ordered the Bobby Hull burger without really looking at the description. OMG, that thing was gigantic. It had four patties, two slices of bacon, fried egg and tons of cheese. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The staff is very friendly and always kept my drink full. They upgraded to an electronic juke box, but before then, it was your standard JukeBox. They have a pool table and questionable bathrooms, but $3 craft beers all day, everyday.
