He made the visit even more memorable. The candy all looked fresh and fun - amazing considering the extensive selection of gourmet artisan truffles to vintage candy brands of childhood. When I came back, there was a very short 4 ft man wearing a hairnet and another woman behind the counter. Why you gotta act like you're the "bee's knees". As far as your Honey Lavender Latte, it was decent... But your service made me want to "make a beeline" to the exit as soon as our drink was ready. If it was up to me, I would have just left as quick as we had walked in... But my Queen Bee wife needed her honey and no crap service from any worker bee was going to change the Queen's mind. One man at the cash register taking orders. You could read the menu behind him posted on the wall. Very basic options and the interior seating was at 1950s style linoleum kitchen tables and chairs. Probably bought at a flea market. We were crushed. I had a combo platter of one crispy carnitas taco at $23. Ground beef. Very basic and lacked flavor. Outrageous for over $20. Wife had two enchiladas a la carte, cheese and green at $13. Mush. At least we have our memories and hope that someone will come along to resurrect it into at least something close to what was.
