Love popsicles! My mom told me that she ate a LOT of popsicles while she was pregnant with me so I guess that explains it. I was so excited when I saw this place, especially since it was like 90 degrees when we were there. They have a bunch of locations around town though this one seems to have most of the flavors they offer (some locations don't seem to). I tried a pineapple cilantro and a mango habanero popsicle. Obsessed with this place. So many amazing flavors I wish I could try them all! I love that they're mostly dairy free and the chocolate dip (+ $1 extra) is also dairy free! Hyppo was such a cute little popsicle place on Saint George Street. For the most part their pops are vegan with a few exceptions that use milk, but even if you don't partake in them you'll still have some wonderful options. The man behind the counter was very knowledgeable showing his understanding of flavor profiles and combinations. We were there during the week so there was hardly anyone there, but I can see how this place can get packed on a hot Florida summers day. I had the strawberry basil popsicle which had a real subtle basil profile. It was sweet, but not overpowering...more refreshing than anything else. This place has myriads gourmet flavors of popsicles! I had the Elvis pop which was peanut butter, banana and honey. It was too die for! Very creamy and the flavor was just right. I also appreciate that there were no artificial ingredients, lots of unique flavors to choose from, and the price point was very reasonable as well. I had two pops- the peach and the basil honeydew. The peach was so juicy and delicious, just like biting into a refreshing, frozen peach, complete with skin. I will be returning for this one again. The basil honeydew was good but I wouldn't get in the future. At first the flavor was balanced and delicious but toward the bottom the basil became overwhelming and too herb-y for my taste. When I saw the sign for organic popsicles, I wasn't too excited. But after walking down the street and finding nothing but ice cream shops, my sweet tooth started hankering for something fruity and refreshing so we backtracked to this place. The little shop was really cute, with a three seat bar and a few benches in the back to enjoy your treat. The flavors were pretty unique (think Scoops back in LA) and all sounded delicious - mango habanero, pineapple cilantro, strawberry basil, champagne mango, the Elvis, to name a few. We grabbed a Riesling pear. They warned us the Riesling flavor was subtle...well I barely tasted it. But the pear taste really shone through. I was impressed by the quality...these ain't your average Dole fruit pops! I think they should start expanding. I can see this being a big hit in Socal. Until then...I'll just have to try and make my own at home, inspired by the Hyppo. read more

These popsicles were great. I would give 5 stars if the lady had been a little nicer. She didn't want to be there and acted like we were bothering her. She had short brown hair and was in her early/mid twenties. Yeaaa fire her. I didn't even know sipping it in chocolate was an option. Maybe it was on the menu. If so, i missed it. She was impatient with us it seemed. The scenery is cute. It was an enjoyable experience otherwise. I got the espresso and I love it. I love the taste of coffee as a dessert but I'm very sensitive to bitterness and dont love to drink coffee really. This has the sweetness of a popsicle with the delicious coffee flavor.
