Was here with my parents for a fish fry as the reviews said it was good. Walked in and the bar was full but the dining room was not and now I know why. The service was awful. Fish fry came out with no lemon or tartar sauce. Asked the waiter for that and ketchup/mustard for the fries. Waited for sometime and then just grabbed the items from a different table that had left. The waiter did finally bring the tartar sauce but by then we were almost done. Wanted to get a second drink but the waiter never came back so we went to the fermatorium after dinner. Bathroom was dirty and a bit disgusting as mentioned in other reviews. The place really needs a host that can run the tabs while the waiters take care of the customers. Only your server can run your bill so while we were waiting for the condiments he was checking other people out. On the food. Bread was amazing, rye with salt on top really good. Coleslaw was good. Shrimp was good, perch was small, but had decent flavor, cod was the best and would recommend just getting that over the combo. French fries were sub par. In conclusion it's a slightly better then average fish fry with awful service. I might go back but I would eat at the bar read more

After a long hectic week, what's for dinner! Went to The Hub close to home and looking forward to the fishfry to make to make this week easier. My week continues sat for 20 minutes no service. Saw 3 tables being taken care off, didn't seem to be short on staff if those tables were taken care of. Not a good feeling it was time to for us to leave...what a shame!!! read more

First tried this establishment when it was located in downtown Cedarburg. Panini sandwiches and fries were great! When we came back about a year later, they were gone. Sign said they moved so we ventured off to find it. Location is actually great right on a river. They could probably utilize it more by adding more seating or deck closer to the water. The inside layout is a different story. You walk right into the bar and then through the dining area just to get to the hostess in order to be seated. Talk about awkward. The tables and chairs are old which adds to the feeling you are sitting in a low end banquet hall. 1st try: Did not see the paninis on the new menu so tried the fish fry. It was just OK. Expensive for 3 SMALL pieces. At least it was edible. There's better fish fry's in the area. Wife tried the strawberry lemonade boba. If you like tart things like she does, give it a go. 2nd try : Ordered a pizza for take out. I'm fairly certain you could buy a frozen pizza for less money and be more satisfied. We didn't even finish it and were sad to throw it out because it's pizza... the greatest food on Earth. Save your money. read more

The food at the hub was phenomenal! I come here very often and the food never disappoints. Some of my favorites are the beer battered cod, wonton wrapped mozzarella sticks, gyros, and Italian beef. The workers are very friendly. I've never had a bad experience here! read more

Have been here twice in the last few weeks, Friday fish fry and Tuesday hamburger special both great.

They moved to a new location and I think it is too big for them. The fish was wet. The chicken tenders were ordered plain but came with buffalo sauce. Then the tenders were partially raw. They remade them but didn't comp them. They ran out of kids hot dogs and didn't have kid glasses. My daughter milks came out in a glass tumbler. Don't think i'll be going back. read more

Fish Fry: Come Hungry, Leave Hungry. Decided to try this after not being there from before Covid. Ordered the two "piece" fry. When it arrived I almost asked "where's the fish". We received 2 small (is being generous) pieces that were less that a fish stick. For 11.95 per dinner, this was a waste. We told the waiter at the end of our meal of our disappointment and he blamed the 16 year old cook in the back. However the cook operates according to directives and the waiter should have noticed the minuscule fish portions. Sadly the owner trying to be "frugal" (read cheap) will kill his business. Don't get me wrong the micro pieces were good, but you can spend $12.00 and get more at McD's without the tip. It used to be a good pace to go, but now that the birdies are infesting the owner's mind with "cheep, cheep.." thinking that this will yield financial rewards, by cutting back, soon the customers will fly away, like ourselves will cut them from our recommended places for a fry. read more

The Hub is located on Cedar Creek, which is a really nice place to sit out when the weather is good. The bar is really large, the bartenders are experienced and make some awesome drinks, including Old Fashioned's from scratch, not a mix. The servers are all very friendly and attentive, the owner is always cordial. The food is the best! The fish fry is consistently excellent. The perch is perfectly done, crisp, never greasy. My husband loves the cod vera cruz, which he first had in Acapulco. Fries are always good, cole slaw made from scratch, outstanding. The Hub has become very popular for good reason. It is always very good food. Pizza is very popular as are burgers and gyros, but the fish fry is the best we've found. Try it, you'll like it. read more

Was there last night (Friday). The food is good, but the ambience isn't. The tables are way too close together. The hostess seated people as close as possible to each other as they came in, rather than spreading them throughout the hall as long as she could. I won't be back - there are enough places nearby that offer nice private booths and comparable food quality. read more

I can't rate The Hub with enough stars! What an accommodating owner and staff! We held an event for nearly 200 people, and our food was exceptional, the venue was perfect, and Rick made every bit of the planning "easy". There's no question in my mind where we'll be holding our next event, and I will be personally recommending The Hub to others! read more

I want to rate it higher but can't. Lots of empty tables but they couldn't seat us for 15 minutes. Ordered a non-alcoholic beer and waitress said how about St. Pauli? I said sure. I got one with alcohol by mistake. Ordered mozzarella sticks, and one of four leaked all the cheese onto the plate. I would not have served that. Wife ordered Italian beef with giardiniera peppers, and got a somewhat cold sandwich with only a few specks of peppers in a teeny cup. Waitress forgot ice water first time requested. My burger was excellent but our fries were underdone. Waitress did not check back with us. I'd go back at a less busy time perhaps. Meal was as pricey as chain restaurants. read more

I've been to the new Hub many time since they have opened ,the fish FRYS are great ,Sunday Brunch is Fabulous,Smoked Salmon,But I have YET TO NOTICE anyone order a steak dinner ,everyone eats the great burgers,gyros,itl beef and a lot of their great thin crust Pizza ,maybe they should serve more finger food and get away from those high end meals a meatloaf sandwich or a good BBQ ,a simple steak sandwich or a philly cheese steak would be great , maybe a all you can eat chicken or pasta night ,add onion rings,more appetizers read more
