Had a delicious date night at twisted willow. They have a great menu with tons of gluten free and vegetarian options. They also have some awesome cocktails. They have tons of seating inside but you may want to make a reservation as it was quite busy. Service was quick and efficient and I really enjoyed my meal here.

Every time I have been here the food is delicious, the drinks are great and the friendly quick service impeccable. The dining room in the lower part of the building gives it a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

This was the perfect spot for our anniversary dinner. The bang bang shrimp was fabulous. Logan was our server and he was outstanding! He was really fun and accommodating. My husband loved the hanger steak, and the mushroom stroganoff was good. If they keep it on their menu, I would go back for the sirloin. Great cocktails and crème brûlée rounded out a really fun and delicious evening.

Let me start by saying my food was very very good! I got the chorizo pasta dish. Super fresh and great flavor. Now let me discuss the service. It was very poor. We showed up 5 minutes before reservation and was told we needed to wait because our table was not set. We got there at 6 so it was their first reservations of the night, not like we were waiting for a table to be cleared. We finally got seated and after the waitress gave us our menus we did not have her come back for at least 20-30 minutes to take our orders. We asked if the ribs were a half or full rack because it didn't say on the menu and she didn't know so we had to wait for her to find out. Turns out it was "16-18oz" and we couldn't get an answer of half or full rack lol. My wife ordered stroganoff with adding sirloin and the sirloin was cooked like a hockey puck. Super hard and barely any flavor. The espresso martinis were pretty good but they didn't put in 3 beans on top, which makes it not professional. Their tequila selection also was poor so I couldn't order tequila drinks. We barely saw our waitress which stunk because it would have been a way better experience if we felt welcomed there. Also, when we left the whole staff was standing and talking by the exit door and it made us feel like we weren't welcome. Yeah the food was alright, but the staff really made experience poor. From the hostess, to the waitress to the staff sanding by the door while we're leaving it was a really bad experience. Luckily there is just as tasty restaurants in the area that we can eat at where we won't feel like we're missing out by not going there.

twisted willow is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the ozaukee county area. delicious diverse menu that rotates a bit with the seasons, you truly can't go wrong with anything you get here. great assortment of cocktails and wine, and even live music in the bar on fridays. I have truly loved everything I've tried here (steak, shrimp pad Thai, short rib stroganoff). best to get a reservation as soon as you know you want to dine, a lot of time ms week of there is only bar seating available (which is still very nice). highly highly recommend!

This little place in Port is super cute. Such a quaint venue!. Great job hiring great personalities. Service A... we had Elliot as a server for dinner. Amazing recommendations and attitude! We had drinks upstairs... great bartender! The live music was very good. Ambiance A Food A

The dining rooms are idyllic, not overcrowded, and quiet enough to have a conversation without screaming. The French onion soup was amazing but the chicken sandwich was terrible- dry chicken, dry bacon, the bun fell apart, the tomato and lettuce were tasteless, and they need to put more mustard in the dijon. Service was subpar at best, I was a party of one which meant that I was last on the list of importance. Great atmosphere, good soup, (mmm, good soup), but an underwhelming meal. The 5 star reviews are shocking.

Great food and nice ambiance. The sirloin was very thick but cooked to perfection with a nice sear.

Do they have a fish fry on Fridays?

Hello! Yes, we offer a cod fish fry every Friday. It can be either baked or breaded, if it's baked it's gluten free, if it's breaded it's fried! That comes with a cup of clam chowder, potato pancakes or french fries, buttered rye, housemade tartar…

Many of us started with Old Fashioned's just how we like them. Others tried bourbon from their extensive list, other specialty cocktails, and the dessert cocktails. Our server, Trish, did a fantastic job taking care of us all night. The ownership changed about a year ago, and we had the opportunity to meet the owner when he brought complimentary bourbon & brandy tastings to our table. I would recommend eating here to anyone local or visiting.

The wedge salad was supposed to come with toppings- it was $16 and had a couple tomato slices and watery blue cheese dressing on the side... that was it. Might be the most over priced nonsense on the menu. The artichoke dip is also a blended cream cheese with crackers dish that you could do without, the worst I've ever had. Service was mediocre, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

We get the sirloin for two every time, and when I say it could feed a family of 4 with extras, I'm not kidding. The steak is always cooked perfectly. Flavor is great and we always leave with left overs to feed us for the following days to come. Price is very reasonable and one of the reasons we keep coming back! The wait staff is always attentive and informational, providing suggestions when we are looking for guidance on what to choose. This time around I went with a girlfriend and we decided to share a couple apps and an entre. We started with their seasonal burrata that was bursting with flavor. It was both savory and citrusy, a really nice compliment. We did have to order a side of bread with it, so that's one improvement the restaurant could make - bread is a necessity with a cheese dish! Next up we ordered their Mixed Greens Salad which was a perfect light & tangy salad with a little bit of sweetness. Highly recommend. Finally, we shared the seared walleye entree. I pretty much order fish everytime I come here because they cook it to perfection and it's something I can't make at home as easily. The walleye did not disappoint and was so flavorful and enough food for us to share. We ordered the perfect amount to split between the 2 of us. Can't wait to go back, keep up the good work!
