We stopped by before checking out the cute downtown Cedarburg scene and grabbed lunch. It's a very cute vibe with the old anvils and bellows throughout as it used to be a blacksmith. The high vaulted ceilings and exposed beams were great. Our group we seated upstairs and it was pretty quiet. Everyone loved what they had. We all mostly got sandwiches/burgers and the various sides were delicious. We really liked the onion rings, potato salad and seasonal veggies. Our server was patient with us when we didn't know what we'd have with both drinks and meals. The team was quick to get our orders out and whisk away used plates/silverware. Would recommend if you're in the area. It was too cold for the patio to be opened yet but we will definitely come back for that in the summer. Great views.

Mushroom Soup - Pretty good. Cheese bites were below average. Drink special was weak.

The wife and I stopped by the Anvil Pub & Grille for dinner on Wednesday evening, and I was surprised by how busy they were. We loved the ambiance, and the service we received was excellent. For starters we ordered the cheese bites and the mushroom "soup of the day" For main course, she had the Short Rib Sandwich and I had the Cedarburg Cranberry Salad with blackened Salmon. For desert, the flourless chocolate cake. The Rib Sandwich and soup were good. (3.5 Stars). The Salad/Salmon were okay (3 stars), and the cake was awful. (Probably put in the microwave for two minutes and then brought to the table) It even looked ugly sitting there on the plate. My drink special was weak. All the customers seemed to be having a good time. The place was lively and it's probably worth a visit for the service and ambiance. However this is not a place to go for good/tasty food based on our experience.

Everything about this place is amazing, we happen to go on a perfect fall day. Sitting by the river surrounded by the breath taking scenery. We got the fried mozzarella and flat bread to start. I enjoyed the twist, of the mozzarella being wrapped in wonton wrappers. The flatbread was delicious, balsamic glaze, pecans, were a nice touch. The burger with bacon and jam was really good, it's pretty heavy and greasy I didn't finish it but it was tasty also loved the garlic mashed potatoes. Service was great!

Super popular, get a reservation it's not very big. Excellent appetizers, especially the shrimp and duck wontons. Love the industrial atmosphere.

One of my favorite spots in cedarburg! They have great menu options and a lot of diverse options to pick from. In addition, they have a stone fire oven so all of the bread they use (which is also made in house) is soooo good. I got their special flatbread the last time I went and it was delicious. It also has a great atmosphere as the inside feels like an old medieval pub which I like. The staff is friendly and provided a great experience to me and my friends. Make sure to check this place out!

A cute spot near the creek and next to the Cedar Creek Winery. Stopped here for lunch on a Thursday and we got seated right away. Pretty small on the inside. I got the burger and my boyfriend got the iron pasta. The burger was fine and I added onion rings. The pasta was good but nothing that was super impressive.

The food was pretty terrible. D Burger was raw (asked for Medium) Nachos were burned and basic. Pesto mozz sticks were not done. Server was great! She was really busy, but attentive. A View was gorgeous! A ****Not dog friendly. It's a patio? I don't understand why I couldn't bring my small dog to sit on my lap? **** Suggestion is... have some drinks on the patio and skip the food.

Cheese bread was a yummy treat

Visited Cedarburg on a girls trip and it was her birthday so we booked the outside igloo as a treat. It was so cute was heated and you could hook up your Bluetooth for music. It is right by the river and really nice setting. There was a booking fee but they let you choose who they donate the fee to. Loved that! You get 90 minutes and the food was good and reasonably priced. Did not try the inside restaurant but the igloo was such a fun experience!

The food was amazing and we had great service the workers were really kind I really appreciate it I recommend eating lunch here But no installations but still a good restaurant

Chicken and burger were good. I wouldn't recommend the appetizers. The artichoke dip was more like cottage cheese. The steak kebab had no seasoning. Not sure what kind of steak they used, but it was very hard to chew. Plus it didn't have no flavor at all. I add salt and pepper and it still wasn't very tasteful. Staff was super nice !

Had the sea bass. It was fantastic! Love this place. The food has always been top notch and the help is friendly and knowledgeable

We had a Bulldog Burger done to perfection. The flavor was done so well. The Maple Bacon Chicken Sandwich was big enough for two meals. Add the sweet potato fries and your meal is complete. The Veggie Poke Bowl was incredible, with the seaweed being prepared just right. Sitting outside on the patio is delightful. The ambiance is nice, but I believe. you need to ask to access it from the street level if you have mobility issues, as their stairs to the front door and again down to the patio. There is a patio gate so I assume this could be done. But the restrooms are not accessible to a wheelchair. Even the presentation of the drinks and food is done well. It is worth a stop anytime you are in town.

They have plenty of room both inside and outside, with a cute patio right on the river. I have yet to get something on their menu that I haven't liked, today it was the brisket melt, bacon brie burger, and buffalo lemon pepper fries, which were all so delightful. They also change up their menu items frequently, so every time I'm there, they always have something new for me to try. They have a long beer list, definitely making it hard to choose just one, however I opted for a spicy bloody, which was delicious. The servers were great and all of our food came out hot, in a timely manner. Overall, we love Stilt House for a casual lunch spot in downtown Cedarburg!

Even though the place was nearly empty they said all the tables were booked ...(ok)... so we sat at the bar. The bartender (young) was very short with us and could barely be bothered to ask if we wanted a drink.... Then one of the ladies with us mentioned she thought the bartender was BJ's daughter (BJ is the owner). I said no way! I loved BJ when I worked with her a little when we had a business in Cedarburg, the lady who recognized her daughter said the same. So when the bartender came back I said, are you BJ's daughter? Her response back was rude and annoyed and ... man, just so un-friendly. I'm honestly still shocked by it. Most of us didn't even order a drink after that, and I felt so unwelcome, I went outside. Everyone pretty much followed after because they felt the same. So BJ. You were a dolllll when I knew you through Festivals. This is not the customer service YOU would personally give or what you would expect from a business in Cedarburg, so you should not be letting your daughter treat customers this way. We easily would have dropped a couple hundred dollars here - as we did at Maxwells, Anvil, and Lime Cantina, but the bizarre rude treatment from "the bosses" daughter was wild.

Bartender Kayla, (owner's daughter) has always been pleasant. This past Sunday 9/28/25 we stopped in for a drink at 5:30 after attending a Celebration of Life for a friend. We got a chilly reception, seeing as they were closing soon we were told The KITCHEN was Closed! We both ordered a scotch and club soda. Both of us said it didn't taste right. They were very faint in color and taste. When we mentioned to the owner, she got defensive and claimed "I've never been accused of pouring a short drink!" We didn't say she did. She then took our drinks and poured them in the sink saying "We're Done Here!". My husband & I looked at each and said "Let's go." that's when the owner said "I Think So! We then left! I can't believe the way we were treated! To treat your customers with such Disregard! The scotch didn't look right or taste right. Could be that it sits in the window with the sun beating down on it everyday or possibly it's watered down? Don't know. What I DO KNOW is we won't be going back!

The first thing you see are the large brewing tanks where they make their signature beers. Then there is a collection of various tap heads. We arrived as they opened on a Saturday, so seating wasn't a problem. I decided to order the double smash burger with fries. The burger consists of two smashed beef patties, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, garlic aioli, on a sciortino's brioche bun for $16.50. The order was out quickly. The burgers were cooked to perfection and nicely seasoned. The cheese was melted and ozzed down the sides. The lettuce, tomato, and red onion were fresh and added a crispness to the burger. The fries were crispy and lightly salted. I was able to sample 2 of their IPA beers to decide which one I wanted. The Punch IPA was hoppy with strong citrus notes. The Hazy IPA was not as hoppy and did not have citrus notes. The later was my personal favorite. I ended up getting a 6 pack to go. Just off 1-43, it is easy to get to and worth coming back to.
