    Burrata and cheese curds

Stopped by to celebrate a birthday in the family. As my first time here, I was delighted with my overall experience. The building is historic, which always is a plus in my book and its quaint and charming inside, with just the right mix of modern + vintage. Service was great and food was delicious. We were a group of 5 and opted for 4 appetizers which was the right amount of pre-dinner treats. The cheese curds were delicious! They were little triangles and SO good. We also had the grilled shrimp, steak, tartare, and the burrata, which I definitely would order again. For dinner I opted for the filet mignon which was the perfect size and cooked to perfection. We selected the carrot cake for dessert, which was good, but different as it had a citrus spin to it. This is a little gem in West Bend, would definitely visit again for a nice night out!

The image shows a two-story brick building with a symmetrical facade, featuring six windows on the upper level and three on the lower level. Two entrances with wooden doors are located on either side, each with black awnings and small steps leading up to them. A sign reading 'The Dowille' is mounted above the central window on the upper level. Green bushes and trees are present on both sides of the building, and the scene appears to be in a quiet, suburban area.

It was a Packers Friday night in Wisconsin so a fish fry was calling! My wife and I headed to The Orville to try something new. We went early (5:00pm) so we could be home to watch the game. We got seated right away in the homey dining room. This restaurant is in and older building and is nicely finished. We started with the cheese curds as we had heard they were very good. They were gooey, salty and delicious with a dipping sauce that was delicious. We recommended them to the table next to us as it was their first visit as well and they agreed!. I ordered one of their craft cocktails, the Toasted Old Fashioned. I am used to a typical "Wisconsin Old Fashioned" and this drink seemed a little small. But what it lacked in volume it made up in taste! My wife had a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. We both ordered the fish fry and I also got a cup of the clam chowder. The soup was hot and tasty and the fish fry was exactly what we wanted. We both had leftovers because we were feeling full from the appetizer. But the meal was fantastic! I believe our server was Karly and she did a great job as well. Very attentive. We had an excellent experience and were home in time for kickoff. We will definitely be back to The Orville! Salmon is - A plated dish includes a fried fish fillet placed on a bed of mashed potatoes, accompanied by roasted Brussels sprouts and diced vegetables. The plate is garnished with chopped herbs and microgreens, and the presentation is on a white, ornate plate. In the background, there is a glass of red wine, a plate of onion rings, and condiments on a wooden table.

Experience is amazing right from the start with a wonderful greeting at the front door. Service and food are equally as impressive. Always a wonderful experience in a nice cozy space.

2 piece cod dinner, fries and cole slaw.

The building is extremely beautiful with its old charm. The service was amazing, our server (Rachel?) made sure to explain the menu, answer any questions we have, get anything we need and give us time to relax! The food was all so delicious! Of course, we got fish on this marvelous Friday.. which was tasty and the tartar sauce was very good. The Cole slaw was different but in a good way! We also tried their cheese curds which were some of the best I've had! The breading was light and flaky, even the ranch was delicious! I would definitely recommend, and visit again if ever in the area again!

Card from the staff - A thank you card featuring handwritten messages and signatures from multiple people, including names such as Ella, Sarah, Izzy, and Kourtney. The note expresses appreciation for celebrating a special day together. The card is held by a person with a visible thumb, and the background is neutral and out of focus.

Very cool ambiance and great service. An interesting venue with a wonderful patio, if you can get a table. Fun to visit.

We ended up staying for hours because the vibe was that good. The owner and staff were an absolute joy: warm, attentive, and genuinely fun to be around. Bonus points for the 2-for-1 drink specials because yes, we absolutely got lit here. As a vegetarian, I felt fully seen because they went out their way to make me veggie tacos that were so good I'm still thinking about them. Drooling. They also offer pizzas and other food options, so everyone wins. Amazing food, great drinks, welcoming energy, and a space you actually want to linger in. This spot is a must and we will 100% be back. Definitely a must try when you are in Mazalan!!!

The staff was quite proud of using a computerized pour system to mix every drink the same way each and every time. My votes still out on the computer made drink. We all have our favorite bartender for mixing a drink a certain way, not sure how I feel about developing loyalty to a machine. The owners did an incredible amount of remodeling to make the Garden Lounge what it is including a poured concrete bar top. A really nice upscale atmosphere for downtown West Bend. A definite worthwhile date night or after dinner destination. There are no windows to the outside, making it the perfect spot to transition from morning coffee into day drinking and being blissfully unaware it's the middle of the day They offer homemade frozen pizzas and a handful of appetizers to boot. We tried the wonton wrapped cheese sticks and rangoons. Both went quite nicely with a few cocktails. Welcome to West Bend Garden Lounge & good luck with your future.

Both my older son and I thought this sounded amazing so we stopped in on a Friday night to try it. We both got fries for our side. The burger was great as expected. Breading and deep frying the lasagna helped prevent it from being a mess and they added enough marinara to give it flavor without overpowering anything. The fries were lightly salted, but were otherwise just boring, plain potato. Apparently 6pm on a Friday is a horrible time to visit Brazen Head Pub if you want to be seated in a reasonable timeframe. My son and I stood there for at least 20 minutes watching a table that was done eating and the gentleman and his credit card in hand, ready to pay if someone would ever stop and give him his bill. While this was going on, another couple at the bar finished their food and sat there for at least 10 minutes waiting for their check. It's almost as if the employees had no desire to turnover tables even with a line at the door including and behind us. There were three people bartending/waiting tables so they had plenty of coverage given the smaller size of the place. At one point, closer to the end of our meal, one of the bartenders looked at my son and I and asked "are you guys good?" as he was literally walking away from us and I was holding up an empty soda glass to show him I'd like a refill. Oddly, he gave me a thumbs up and kept going. I don't even know what to make of that other than poor service. The music that was playing was excessively loud. If it was a live band, I'd get it, that's part of the show and I wouldn't complain. For random music on speakers to drown out all conversations unless you're yelling, that's dumb.
